I am a shopper of Dollar General and have shopped nearly every location in DFW. Hands down this was the worst experience. Dirty store inside and outside. Disorganized. Parking lot from a third world. It needs a deep clean. I had my disabled family member with me and one of the employees named Laurie whistled at us and said not in my house as she passed by. The family member was doing nothing wrong but he has tics. I asked her what she was talking about and she said, that young man can not do that in my house. He was quiet but has a motor tic with other physical and mental disabilities. He was not touching inventory or bothersome to anyone. What does she mean? He cant be disabled in her house? The employee Mike was respectful although he followed us around and asked me where the stores inventory belonged several times. Isnt that in his job description, not the customers? Laurie was socializing like a kid in high school with all the patrons that passed through while I filled up my cart instead of cleaning and organizing her house. Someone definitely needs to clean that house starting with her. I will be filling a complaint and hope she is coached and developed by a superior regarding persons with disabilities as well as her job responsibilities. It wouldnt hurt if someone would also teach her hospitality and what atypical and odd behaviours are with customers. There is so much room for improvement with this one. It was very unsettling.

Usually when I go in there there may or may not be somebody to welcome you due to lack of staff but for the most part I was helped when I asked for it also my encounters at the register were sweet Ill keep coming back thank you

Its okay. Theres an issue with professionalism. For example, on more than one occasion, the cashier (different people) will stand right outside and smoke and then when someone comes to check out, they run back in smelling like a chimney to ring them up. If nobody is behind the person, theyll go right back outside and light up another cigarette. Its unprofessional. Im sure they have scheduled breaks and Im sure corporate doesnt want them smoking in front of the entrance at any chance they get.

Its dope just needs more selection of items but its great

Store was filthy and cashier rude!! Trash everywhere. Couldnt get down aisles due to merchandise needing to be put out. Not much on shelves and what was there was very disorganized and messy. Will never shop there again. Worst Dollar General I have ever been to.

Dollar General is a good place to quickly find and buy groceries on the go and small birthday gifts.

Always had the basic necessities for me and my family. Inexpensive and close to home.

About 5 aisles were extremely junkie with products everywhere on the floor. Im sure the mess was from inconsiderate customers. Other than that, I like how the cashiers were getting customers in and out quickly without seeming like they were rushing, and they sanitized the credit card machine in between each use. I just left and I was very disappointed in the service. Not only did they not remove all their sale signs that expired 3 DAYS AGO but they didnt honor the fact that its advertised as such and when I asked him why he couldnt honor it since the sign was still up all he said was sorry in a belittling tone. Told me he had no authorization and he was in the store alone. Being a dollar general employee I KNOW it is against company policy to leave a regular associate in the store to close. You have to at least be a third key. This dollar general not only has the rudest employees but the place is a disaster and everything is out of place. If you need anything from here go to family Dollar or dollar tree instead.

Quick and easy to find what you are looking for when you are to busy to stop in at a supermarket. They always have great deals on all assortments of items and you can really find coupons for most any items you may need with their online coupons. I have been going here for years and its just a perfect place to stop for a munchies snack

Great selection and great deals if you use their app you can save a lot of money. They have a good selection of name brand and specials on DG brand items. Employees are very nice and extremely helpful, I never feel like I am bothering them, they are very helpful. Their clearance section could use some work.

Stopped by to grab a few things and it was 8:30pm the sign says 9pm and the doors were locked. I really didnt want to have to go to walmart. I wanted a quick in and out and cheap . The cashier just looked and smiled.

Store could have been cleaner. Was quite dirty inside. The Male manager guy is usually very helpful. There is one girl that works at the store in the evening times mostly. I notified her that a younger couple was stealing things in the store that I saw with my own eyes and she seemed mostly careless about the whole situation. I was genuinely upset with this deal.

At the time of my visit, the Waxahachie store was very crowded. Aisles were narrow. Floors cluttered and poorly kept up. Only appeared there were two employees on duty. One stocking and one checking. Not many shoppers on site.

The cashier was friendly and the store was clean. I found everything I needed and they had a thermometer which Ive been having trouble finding at other larger stores.

Last few times Ive been, people helping me were unfriendly. Stop by about 15 minutes before they closed and the doors were already locked. The girl sweeping just looking at me as I read the hours. Two other people were trying to get in as well. New generation I guess.

Its ok...One by Taco Bell in town...whats up with the closed at 9:00pm...Duh...

Absolute worst!! Every time i come into this store, the asles are messy, mixed up, and theres stuff all over the floors. The store is so hot (because they decided to leave both doors wide open all day) that my 84 year old grandmother and i both had sweat dripping into our eyes and got nautious from the heat. Boxes piled all around the store making it hard to get past the rows. Would NEVER recommend to a friend

This is an average Dollar General. Nothing outstanding...just a regular Dollar General. They didnt have the large gift bag I went in for.
