Wonderful place to purchase wooden rocking chairs, tables, bar stools, and much, much more. I bought the perfect green rocking chair for my new place. Ive been looking for just the right chair for months. I didnt want something prefabricated from a chain store, but rather something unique, with character. I came to just the right place!

Amazing! She does gorgeous work. The woodwork is beautiful, the craftsmanship is second to none. I asked her to build me a table and chairs with specific measurements to fit into my very small Ranch cabin, and it turned out amazing. The chairs are so comfortable and sturdy, the table is gorgeous and feels so natural to sit at. Ive ordered log furniture from large companies before and they were good quality, but for the same price you can get artisan quality from Giselle here. This is furniture to pass down for generations.

Ms Giselle made a custom console table. It is amazingly beautiful and functional. Her eye to detail shows clearly in her craftsmanship, as the turquoise river adds an exquisite touch.

Exquisite carvings and beautiful woodworking both inside and out of store

Giselle, the owner at Fine Wood Carvings did a custom 5 foot wooden owl for us off of a tiny picture we showed her. She replicated it perfectly. She is so creative and has such an eye for detail. We now call her Giselle da Vinci! Our owl looks amazing in front of our house. Her shop also has a lot of amazing wooden carvings and furniture — I ended up buying a few additional things as well! An easy stop off I-35.. stop in, you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful, rustic, wooden artwork and furniture made on-site here in Texas - no Chinese-made junk at this place. I first saw this place while driving along I-35E and am glad I stopped in to look. Aside from all the cool carvings, one of the first things I noticed when walking in is the nice smell of cedar wood. I was also impressed with the different kinds of art work and furniture displayed for sale, from bed frames, giant bears, rocking chairs, jewelry boxes with hidden compartments, chests, dressers, American bald eagles, night stands, etc.My 4-year old son also likes this store. Mind you, he hates going into any store that’s not a toy store. But he really enjoyed looking at all the wooden art work and even wanted me to buy him some art pieces and one of the beds displayed!Granted, I’m a guy and really like this style of furniture. So some may think this is more of a guy’s style based on my review. But the owner is a lady, and my wife, who is very lady-like and feminine, also loves this store.For being hand-made works of art, I had also expected prices to be very expensive. But instead the prices, especially the furniture prices, were comparable with the imported mass-produced stuff you might find at any big-box store. Mind you, the furniture sold here is not only a hand-made work of art, it’s also made out of solid chunks of wood carved into a rustic art form. For instance, the bed frames are thick, durable pieces meant to last, not the typical, thin, semi-flimsy overpriced imported bed frame of unknown wood (assuming it’s not even the pressed wood) that may last only 10 or so years.All in all, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for carved art and furniture.

Her experience, expertise, creativity and talent is reflected on all of her one of a kind pieces. All of her pieces are made at her gallery. Nothing comes from China. Very Nice place lots of Awesome stuff great wood carvings swings and other furniture

Jaw dropping artistry in every piece in the showroom. Giselle is a genius and a master in her craft! Wife and I visited recently looking for a mantle to match our new wood floors. Giselle was gracious enough to allow us to pick out an unstained freshly cut log.2 weeks later we picked it up and could not be happier (now to find time and mount above fireplace). I am going to make sure to show it off when company comes over and recommend to anybody in the market for wood art!Additionally, for me to take the time to post a review, ask my wife how often this happens. Perhaps once every 2 years...That says a lot about our experience at Fine Wood Carvings!! Keep it up you guys. I can not wait to go back for my next purchase.Happy Holidays!!

Bought a bench for outside and a table for the living room here. Everything is made on site and great quality. Highly reccomend if you want natural real wood furniture or accent pieces this is the place. They will also make whatever you want, from tables to chairs to bar tops. Prices are fair for handmade high quality USA made. Bring cash and they will go lower.

Amazing work and such great people working there. The young lady that works in the front, Tamara, is very helpful and seems to have a ton of knowledge about the whole store. It seems like a family environment and I hope to visit again soon.
