BUYERS BEWARE of OWNER! I drove my husbands truck to pick up a table and bench. An employee loaded and strapped down the furniture in the truck bed. When I got home, my husband was upset that the furniture was not properly secured at all! I could have had a wreck or hurt somebody! And my baby was in the truck!My husband drove back to the store to let them be aware of the situation. The owner was rude, unhelpful and in denial. He didnt apologize or acknowledge the problem. As my husband was getting into his truck to leave, the owner came out out of the store and yelled across the parking lot, A real man wouldnt let his wife pick up furniture.The unprofessionalism is obvious but the blatant disrespect is unacceptable. Instead of admitting fault or simply apologizing, the owner chose to throw a personal insult. A desperate attempt to deflect from his stores mistake.We have bought furniture from them over the last decade. And were still in shock that our local furniture store treats their community like this.

We wanted to spend our money locally so we decided to try this store for our furniture needs. That was a mistake. Customer service is non existent. We actually talked with the owner and not only was customer service not in his vocabulary but he was actually rude. We will not return and after reading other reviews, seems others have had similar experiences. Buyer beware.

David was so attentive and patient as we worked out what mattress and frame would work for our needs! Excellent service, even at closing time and with our personal shopping challenges. Very dissatisfied with the bed purchased. Bought a California King mattress that we were told at the time we ordered the bed would work for the frame. It does not work at all. Received wooden slats. When we asked why wooden slats when the display of the bed had metal slats, the owner said the metal ones were just for display purposes only. Have purchased furniture for both business and personal purposes. We will not shop at this establishment anymore.

This is the go to place for quality living room furniture and dining. I am baxk again for the 3rd time. Thank you for the great service.

The place is a little run down and dusty in the inside but the selection of furniture is nice. I came in a few weeks after Thanksgiving and was informed they were still running their Black Friday special which was a pretty good deal. The gentleman (Jay, really good salesman) that helped me was very knowledgeable and up front with the product but I informed him I was just shopping around and had to talk it over with my husband. I came in about a week later and they still had the Black Friday advertisement out and the OWNER said he would offer the specials. Once we found a set and he looked at the price of it he quickly took back that offer and stated that he doesnt come in the store much and wasnt sure why they still had the flyers out and that the set we were looking at was not in store even though I had it pulled up on their website. He also stated that the piece that I had selected was actually discontinued and he would not be able to sell me the floor models. Fast forward to today I went back to the store because I like to keep my business local, this time I had the price pulled up online for the set and was told it was in the store and was the price that it was online. I get to the checkout and it rings up the wrong price so the sales woman has to call the owner and I was informed that Sorry that set is discontinued which I already knew and the floor model has been sold. This is not the way that you run a business, I understand if you can not honor some sales but to completely lie to a customer is NOT acceptable in my book. I will never go back nor recommend this establishment to anyone.

Awesome experience! Very knowledgeable on their products. They were very helpful on accommodating and suiting my familys needs. Prices are perfectly set and sales are great. I would recommend this furniture store to everyone! Reading the negative reviews below I feel are not accurate. Sales are sales. If you have not been in the sales industry, things happen build a bridge and get over it!

We have been been very happy with our purchase and furniture even came in a little early. So far happy with our purchase.

This place is an absolute joke!!! Delivered furniture and only had half the order and dresser was cracked in 3 different places. Week later brought rest of purchase and another dresser that had the screws stripped out on drawer slides so drawers won’t open or close. Quality is junk! Will never go back to that store and do NOT recommend wasting your time in this place. Prices are not very good either. Advertiser 50% off but original prices are doubled. A lot better pricing and quality at any other place. I think I would choose Walmart over this trash!

I love supporting smaller businesses and that was my total intention when shopping here. Good prices, not so great customer service. Didnt have the greatest experience here, but its not a bad company, just needs to prioritize and restructure how their customer service works.

Talked to the sales guy many times. Told him we were interested in a possibility sofa. He looked at it and confirmed the price. We looked around some more, talked it over, and came back to buy it. Place was dead nobody in there. He gets all the way to the delivery part and tells us it was sold already a few days ago. Pretty upset. Then he offers to order us a new one for full price. Hmm I could have got this one for $750 or a brand new one for $2,200 let me think about that. Completely wasted our time.

They have an amazing selection of great furniture. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. They have something for everyone.

I worked there and it was my most favorite job I have ever had. I loved working there. The Mitschkes are kind and loving people. They took the time to teach me the business. There were times that I made a mistake with the customers and they took the heat for me even though it was my fault. They treated me very well and always treated the customers with the utmost respect and kindness. There were times when a customer was not understanding what the situation was and took it out on them or me. I would work for them again in a heartbeat.

I have bought items from this business for many years. Recently, they delivered a piano to the school where I teach. They did this as a service for my school and my students. What an amazing company! Thank you!!!

If there was a half star I would have used it very unprofessional waited 4 weeks for my living room set which when it arrived every piece was demaged. When I called I was informed that I would have to wait an additional 2 weeks for the arrival. When I refused now I am charged with a 20% restocking fee they never offered to workout anything. Which I explained my situation to another furniture place they will credit me the 20% this other furniture place ripped off just to earn my business. I have no idea how this furniture place has been in service for 30 years 😒. Do your research before purchasing they are still stuck with an old system mentality. Now I will receive the same living room set cheaper and hassle-free.

Great furniture deals! Not only that, we just moved to Texas from Pa and needed living room and dining room furniture. Furniture By Sleep Quarters made special accommodations to have our furniture delivered in 3 days vs. a few weeks. Also, there was minimal damage to the dining room table that was available (which they called and notified of before delivery). They offered to deliver the damaged table so that we had something to use and ordered us a new table. Finally, the chairs that came with our table were unavailable....they offered us different upgraded chairs at no additional cost. All of these accommodations were authorized by the owner. What a GREAT first furniture buying experience in Waxahachie. Thank you!

The prices seemed pretty good on a lot of the furniture. Decent sales and some nice Clearance items.The problem was the fleas. I was bitten about 6 times and picked even more off of me. If fleas are in the carpet, they are in the furniture. Could not buy anything here in fear of bringing home a new family member.

Not a very nice furniture store. Had 2 sales clerks working. One was a grouchy older women who acted like she just couldnt be bothered. The other a heavy set middle aged man in baggy athletic shorts ! All he was interested in was talking about motorcycles.

Had a employee follow us around the entire time, it was very awkward, made shopping really unpleasant. The store was also extremely hot and dusty, my allergies started acting up from it. I never want to come back here again.

I give 1 star cause I have to. Dont buy your furniture here. The customer service is horrible. Didnt get my furniture for 10 weeks and then it broke when I tried to return it they want to charge a stocking fee of 20%. No good.

Worst management ever!!! Rude, disrespectful, and completely unhelpful. Found the exact same furniture somewhere eles for hundreds less, when asked if they could come close to that price I was told to just go buy it online. DONT SHOP HERE!!!!

We moved to the area in 2014 and bought several thousand dollars worth of furniture from this store, the last being a sectional leather couch with recliners, heated back rests, etc. The saleslady advised us to buy the warranty because it would cover everything. Well, a little less than 2 years after the purchase, the leather started pealing and you can tell its not leather. We contacted the warranty company and they said it wasnt covered so we contacted the store and they finally sent someone out to look at it. The back heating assembly was also missing and they said theyd get us another one and see about someone coming back to fix the peeling leather. Although we called many times, sent them emails, etc we never heard from them again and now were stuck with a $3000 couch that has fallen apart. We will never buy another thing from this company and I do not recommend it to anyone else. They sold us a lemon and falsely advertised it to be leather when it is obviously not. Id give this company a minus zero star rating but thats not an option.

We waited two months for our furniture to come in even though they said it would take about two weeks. We called and called and called until our only option was to pick out new peices. Today is the day those are sent to arive and the our two hours and thirty minutes late. DONT GET YOUR FURNATURE HERE!!!!

My wife and went into the store looking for end tables and this woman followed us around staying about ten feet behind us. It was awkward and very uncomfortable. We left after she literally followed us from end of the store to the other. Twice I said “I’m not going to buy anything if she keeps following us” creepy

Prices seem really high. Very hot and stuffy inside. Would probably help to turn on the a/c!
