Prices are a little high on some things. Great inventory/stock/variety except for the bananas. Lots in stock, but all of them looked like they were going bad. I had to make one trip to Aldi just for ripe bananas. Wouldve been nice to have a one stop shop. Short wait in line and friendly service at checkout. Store was well lit and very clean.

Foodland is a nice place to shop and they have good sale prices. The employees there are friendly..I like the convenience of the store since sometimes you dont want to deal with big crowds. So I give them 4 stars!

As always, the Foodland Market in Waxahachie, Texas remains quick to get in - quick to get out. The checkers are courteous, fast and efficient. This more than makes up for the slightly higher prices.

Usually find good deals on meats...only gave it 4 stars because their round steaks are cut too thin for the 5 to 7 dollar price tags..need to do right by your customers on that...milk is high but veggies and fruits are priced good and taste fresh..all in all its pretty decent.

Produce department is small ...but sometimes that means space is limited...thus, quick sale good prices a lot of the time.

Yes. Four stars is a fair assessment of the Foodland Market here in Waxahachie, Texas. Youre not going to save a whole lot of money by shopping there but you will get it done quickly. And after all time is money so in that regard you do save.

Fruit flies everywhere...my cashier had a terrible attitude just because I asked her to double bag a few items... and the prices are way too high especially during a crazy time such as this pandemic... it used to be better all around, here at Foodland Market!

This is always well stocked store. During the height of COVID THE HAD FOOD, TOLIET PAPER, PAPER TOWELS, BLEACH, LAUNDRY DETERGENTS AND SANITIZED WIPES like everywhere else impossible to buy. Food selection was adequate then I gave it 3 1/2 stars out og

I liked it. I dont usually shop there. The place is neat and clean and not huge but they seem to have most everything the other stores have. The people were friendly...and I remarked that I would be shopping there again. I got a big cantaloupe that is good and they have the biggest watermelons I have seen in a long time.

Its definitely not like the minyards that used to occupy this location but I was surprised when I walked in. The store was clean and organized. although I found some products priced way above what they should be I did find a few bargains. I wouldnt shop there every day because of their prices but its a great little store to run in and out for a few items.

Well, I thought I had found a quiet little alternative to the madhouses of HEB and Walmart. However, after finding expired items on the shelves and seeing the grey hamburger meat and steaks, I don’t think I’ll be back.

They have low prices but never have items in stock

I really like shopping here the prices are good and they always have weekly specials. The employees are nice and helpful with any questions you may have about any products in their store. I would highly recommend shopping there .

The price of fruit & veggies are reasonable. They have good prices on meat. The store has a good selection of Latino foods. The associates & manager are helpful!

They are much higher prices than regular stores but their shelves were stocked except for all the most sought after items these days.

A little more expensive but worth a extra dollar or so for the convenience of getting in and out quick. Nice employees, great variety of Mexican foods, fruits and vegetables

Old school grocery store with good selection, reasonable prices, and great service. Nice change of pace compared to the box stores and large chain grocery stores that think they have to sell everything under the sun. You wont be sorry for shopping at Foodland!

Wow what a hidden gem! Great employees! Clean store! Great Prices! Just had ribeyes bought for $2.99 a lb. Husband said one of the best and most tender steak he has ever had. Produce all look super fresh. Smaller store had everything I needed and didnt have to walk a mile or do self checkout! Even the fan dulce was so moist and fresh. I will be back!

We love that it is so close and vintage. It reminds us of our childhood grocery stores. Everyone is really nice as well. The prices are pretty high though which is unfortunate. But...our biggest complaint (as well as the complaint of others as heard while in line to check out MULTIPLE times) is how weird it is that you must drop your groceries off in a line on the checkers side and then leave them and walk around the candy and drink refrigerator to get in the people side of the check-out. You must also cross your fingers that no one accidentally (or purposely) gets into the people line without first dropping their groceries off bc the checker will begin to scan your groceries for them bc now everything/everyone is out of order. I cant tell you how many times someone has gotten in the people line without first making the trek AROUND the refrigerator to drop of their groceries on the checkers side (also, lets hope you only have a few items so they will fit on the checkers tiny ledge or you actually grabbed a cart) I dont know why they did it that way nor why they keep it that way. It absolutely makes no sense at all. Hopefully the Foodland powers that be will read this and fix it.

One of the cashiers made fun of me for putting vegetable oil on sweetbread.

Staff was very friendly. Plenty of parking spaces. Produce was fresh. But throughout the store everything was just so exspensive. Probably wont go back.

This store has great vegetable and meat pricing. Thats the reason why I go to it in has great meat for economy pricing. I would encourage any family thats looking to meet budget constraints to go and check this store out the grocery pricing is not great at all. But if you can find specials on the groceries and pair them with the meat purchases you will be in great shape.

Convenient, produce varied and fresh, reasonable selection of meats, frozen foods, frequent sales to offset the slightly higher costs of smaller store. Central location away from traffic jams makes it a pleasure to run to store. Every parking spot is close to door.

As a old employee the store was always cleaned 3 times a week. Old/Expired items were never remobed for shelves and the checkers and stockers are overworked if they are in school. Do not shop.

Its okay for a close quick stop But Ive had them over charge me about 4 times and wouldnt notice until i get home! Then you have to bring receipt back for them to fix it which, with alot of kids in the house, most times Id loose it By then & just be stuck!
