This is my third time using a storage unit and I came back to Public Storage because of the cleanliness of the place and the professionalism. Ryan found me the right size unit and got me registered very quickly. Its a breath of fresh air to deal with someone who actually enjoys doing their job. He was wonderful to deal with.

Renting the unit was quick and easy. We were told there would be a lock and information packet in our unit. When we arrived a few days later with loads of things to store there was no lock, and no packet,. It was after regular office hours. Fortunately Ryan was there. He was wonderful. He gave us a lock and packet, noticed the unit floor hadnt been swept and immediately took care of it If he hadnt been there, it would have been a very frustrating situation. Thank you so much Ryan. She answered all of our questions, the storage facility was very clean and most of all it looked like a safe place to keep your belongings. The sole reason that this facility got 5 stars for me was because of the facility manager, Sidney. Now only did she go above and beyond to accommodate me and make my life easier but she also was an absolute pleasure to deal with. People like her are hard to come by these days and I hope this company recognises what a rock star they have.

I came in to get some information on a storage unit and I spoke with Sidney. As soon as I approached her she had a very welcoming smile on her face and asked me, How can I help you today? I told her I was interested in renting out a unit because I was moving soon and she said, without hesitation, that she would love to show me around if I had the time. I have used this storage for four years and they have been wonderful. Allison is great and helpful to all of the customers. She is always smiling. Tanisha and Alison are the best! I had such a great experience checking into my storage space with them during a very stressful time. They were kind and knowledgeable and straight to the point. I understood exactly what was happening, and they even took extra time to explain my bill to me after I had already checked in and came back for more info.The only reason I didnt review it 5 stars is because I signed up for a $1/month promotion, and when I went into the facility I had to pay for a lock and insurance and taxes and it drove the price way up. That could have been more clear on the website.I would still recommend using this facility, but maybe do a little bit of extra research before you go in!

Buyer beware! So Ive had a unit at this Wayne location for a few years now and decided to vacate my unit yesterday the 3rd of the month. Since I hadnt yet paid for this month when I went to the office to inform them that I had moved out, they told me I had to pay for the entire month even though it was now empty. I then asked well why cant I just pay a prorated rate for the 3 days and all I got back as a response was this is a month to month lease. After going back and forth with the property manger, Joe, he then tells me I have two options for you, you can pay for the unit this month (after I had already emptied it) OR I can choose not to pay and itll be sent to collections. Ok, next step spoke today to Regional Mgr, Nicole hoping that something could be done and of course, response was there was nothing she can do because their system bills automatically on the 1st of the month and there is no way to prorate- excuses. Im sure something could have been done. I understand companies have policies but honestly I cannot understand how, as a very popular storage brand name, for the sake of providing good customer service, they would at least attempt to make an effort instead of just saying NO we cant do anything. Funny how when the air conditioning wasnt working for weeks in 100 degree weather, as a customer, I understood and withstood sweating like a pig when I had to move a few things into the unit. Also, every six months or so enduring an increase in the monthly bill without complaining. And the one time I ask for leeway from the regional mgr, nothing can be done. So they basically charged me for a months rent on a unit that is currently empty. What a rip off and horrible service.

Whenever I have a concern or need an answer to a question, Allison is always there to help. This storage facility is a clean, well lighted place with easy access to the units, and its easy to get to as its right off route 23 south. very satisfied with the facility and the service, esp Allison and Taylor. :)

I had two storage units for two years at Public Storage in Wayne, NJ and they were great! I never had an issue with anything. Allison who helped me both sign up and sign out was so knowledgeable and very friendly, I watched her deal with two other customers while waiting and she was great! Very clean place, safe and temperature controlled.

Allison G., the Wayne Public Storage manager has been great. She was very accommodating and thorough with her explanation eventhough she was only working by herself. Just wish she has some assistant so customers like me won’t have to wait long to be attended. So far, it was a nice experience as a first time customer. Kudos.

I gave this storage site 3 out of 5 because of ONE MAJOR issue, NOT Enough carts.The staff was nice. But when I asked if there were more carts available, I was told that’s all they had. From what I’ve seen there may be a total of 4 or 5. If there were others on a different floor other than the basement, ground or the floor where my storage space was located, I can’t go to the other floors to look for other carts if people left them by the elevator. My storage unit is on the 3rd floor and I don’t have access to the second floor. If someone left a cart on the second floor, I would be allowed to access it. There is a need for more carts.

The location is easily accessed. Ashley is wonderfully knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She made signing up effortless and became our go-to person for any questions we had. We also noticed she keeps up on ensuring the security doors work well and that the trash people unfortunately leave is taken care of. She made securing a storage place a pleasant experience.

I love the service that I received today by Tanisha she show me couple of spaces and she show me some of the merchandise that they carried I just got what it was necessary because I am in a budget but they have good products the location is clean and the environment is friendly she even help me to get a moving cart.

My initial rating was going to be based on the fact that they raise your storage fees quite often, and not just once a year, but multiple times within a year, and perhaps the rating would have been around 3 stars. However, I have decided to switch from that to events that have taken the globe by storm lately.In the toughest times is where the true colors of people and organizations are shown. Public Storage is doing absolutely 0 to help with the global pandemic at the moment. My wife called and there was nothing that they had planned. They just gave a simple we arent doing anything as of this moment or halting anything.Banks, car manufacturers, landlords, I mean even the IRS is working with people to help bring relief in these unprecedented times, but yet it is Public Storage that is the thorn? Hours have been cut back and people are losing their jobs, yet there is no rent waived for at least just one month to help their customers out.So with that said, a stop has been put to our automatic payments and we will be going into storage and selling our stuff we havent used in some time and bringing what can be used with us, and no longer using them.

I have rented from here since 2012. I absolutely love it. I have used the unit as a second closet. I love the all three security codes you have to go through because I know my stuff is safe. I also love the security cameras everywhere so I know everything is secure. Everything is very clean. Highly recommended.

Christopher helped me out with my first storage unit today and it was a more than pleasant experience. He was very patient, informative and friendly as he showed me my different unit options and went over my contract. The unit that Christopher set me up with was very clean and met all of my storage needs, and he even sold me on a lock and a few boxes to make this process even easier.
