I highly recommend Custom Carpentry by Carlos. They replaced my stairs railing, balusters, and custom made my newel posts. Carlos, Angela, Sergio and Roberto were professional, responsive, and courteous. Sergio and Roberto arrived on time everyday, communicated with me while I was at work, vacuumed and swept after their work every single day. They arranged the project to keep a railing in place every day for the safety of my family. When the initial newel posts werent what I envisioned they accommodated my requests. It is obvious that they take pride in their work, and want their finished product to showcase their craftsmanship. I look forward to working with their team again in the future.

We used Carlos to build a built in desk or our home office from a pinterest picture, a floating cabinet for our living room, box beams for our family room and board and batten panels for our entryway and dining room. Reasonable prices and good quality. I had to do the stone and all the finishing, but that was known from the start.The guys that came to install were professional and fast.The quoting process and measurements was easy.They moved fast through the project from quote to install.I took one star off because I had to fill in all the nail holes and some of the plywood edges were a bit rough and chipped out. There were also a few shelves where the nail buckled the top ply so I had to chip it out and fill.Overall, I would recommend.

They arrived on time and were professional on site installing the hardware. The time quoted for the job was on target. They are doing another project for us. Carlos and his crew just finished installing our custom cabinets today. We are so pleased with the end result and could not be more satisfied with their craftsmanship and professionalism. When I first reached out to them, Angela made the process very easy. We were simply asked to take the measurements of the areas needing custom cabinets, take photos of the space, and provide design inspiration photos that we had compiled. Within a few days, we received a detailed quote. This happened in early April and we were told that Carlos would come out to do the measurement in mid June. Because there was no true urgency to have these cabinets built, we decided to wait given their consistent 5-star review and my positive interaction with them. When Carlos came out to do the measurement, he was so courteous and thoughtful. He listened to our ideas and made great suggestions. He started the built process the following week and sent us photos of the progress. He made sure to ask us for preferences and approval for every detail of the build. On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time and all the gentleman that came with Carlos were courteous and beyond nice. They did their best to contain the dust and did thorough cleanups at the end of each work day. They were in constant communication with us to make sure that they would fulfill our vision. Now all the cabinets have been built and we are so glad that we waited two months. The experience and service we received were better than that of a 4-star hotel. I contacted Carlos to build a custom cabinet that could hold my large watch collection. I had a design in mind, and Carlos and his wife/office manager Angela helped refine it and make it actually buildable. Omar, one of Carlos carpenters, actually built the cabinet. We worked together to finish the details and make it something truly unique and incredible! It is strong, sturdy, and solid!! They recommended a terrific painter/stainer (Alfredo) and when he was done, Omar came out to install the handles and the dividers. Finally, Omar helped move the cabinet --which is *not* light -- into its final position. This cabinet has been a pipe dream of mine for so long, and Custom Carpentry by Carlos made it real! I had been planning on remodeling my kitchen for a while, when I stumbled upon Carlos’ website. This entire company was professional and first rate from the office staff, to Carlos himself, and those who worked in the field to install. They were always timely with responses and updates. Each person was polite and friendly and knowledgeable. They protected our home well and there was nothing to worry about at all. We needed a custom drawer built to fit a larger space below our newly installed microwave and oven combination unit. They created just what we wanted and needed out of the same wood, and routed the drawer to match existing cabinets from the 1990s. We now have a much more functional deeper drawer than is sturdy and with beautiful craftsmanship. We highly recommend them and would use again anytime.

Carlos and his crew have been so amazing! They just finished their last job of our major remodel but I’m sure we are not done with them yet! I ordered new drawer boxes, faces and doors and then just ran out of time to install myself, so I asked Carlos and team to install new glides, boxes, faces, and doors. Carlos and his team installed our new double oven, amended our cabinetry to fit this new unit, and built a kitchen island with drawers. Their work was exceptional. We found Carlos through our neighborhood FB group and have been so impressed by their work!I contacted them through their website and heard back immediately to set up a date and time to come by and discuss what we wanted built. We wanted built-in cabinets for our living room and adding crown moulding to the room to finish it out.Carlos came by and took measurements, talked it through, and made decisions about the built ins. He was able to give me a quote the following day.He made another stop to get more measurements then built the cabinets off site. Installation took about 6 hours (they started at 10 am and finished a bit before 4).They were extremely professional, quick, and asked questions when needing answers. They took off the base board, brought their own tools, cleaned up, and finished everything on site. I wasnt quite sure what to expect since this was the first time we ever did built-ins or custom carpentry, but I have been so very impressed by them! The results are absolutely beautiful! 😍😍For reference, the ceiling is 12 feet, the length of the cabinets is about 11 feet. The depth of cabinets is 18 inches, the depth of the shelves is 12 inches. I hired a carpenter to build some custom cabinets. I communicated what I wanted to that carpenter, but things kept getting lost in translation and he couldnt seem to get them to 100% perfect. Carlos was able to give me a same day quote the day I called him, and his team was at my house the next day. They worked hard to make everything just how I wanted it, and creatively solved a problem I thought I was just going to have to live with. I would highly recommend them!

Carlos’s crew built a beautiful, well-crafted pergola for our backyard. They showed meticulous attention to detail—particularly when drafting templates for the decorative cuts at the ends of the beams. They were also careful to cement each post at least 3 ft. in the ground and attach hurricane straps between the layers of the roof for stability.We have used Carlos’s team previously for a custom wine cabinet in our kitchen. His prices were reasonable for both projects. We will definitely use them again for future projects.

I met Carlos more than 3 years ago when I was looking for a unique custom build of jewelry display pieces for my business. My needs were incredibly complicated because I had to have something constructed (based on a design that was in my head) that was sturdy but also could be deconstructed when not in use and stored on pallet. Not only was Carlos’ quote fair but it was well below the quotes I received from other carpenters bidding the job. I still use these display boards today. They take a hard beating multiple times and are still functional and valuable to my business years later! Carlos also did other small carpentry work for me at my home and was always punctual and professional working until the job was done correctly. I HIGHLY recommend his services.

Carlos did a wonderful job in my dining room cabinets. As you opened the doors you would see shelves with boxes, which I had to take out each time I needed something. Carlos came and measured, and even though the room for drawer rails was limited, he managed to install them on the shelf surface instead of the sides. He worked all day making 12 drawers inside my cabinets. Carlos is very detailed oriented. My cabinets look neat and tidy now. My husband and I are very pleased with his carpentry work.We are thinking of doing a similar job in some of our kitchen cabinets in the future. We will definitely call Carlos again!

My husband and I wanted a custom outdoor cabinet made to hold a mini fridge and have drawers as well. Carlos got back to me within an hour of texting him and had given us a quote within 24 hours. He was very patient and listened to what we really wanted done. He and his men built a beautiful custom outdoor cabinet for us. He also had it done very quickly. No wasted time. He always showed up on time and when he said he would be here. The final product blew us away. Carlos and his men were very professional, detail oriented, timely, friendly and acommodating.
