Great place! The guys did a seamless job on a collision repair, and had the job ready 2 days early!! Tops!!

Was told $330 to change 5 wheel studs on my car. Asked them why so expensive? Told it was a 2 hour job at $80 or $100 per hour(forget now which he said), and that he had to put the tire back on???????? Even at $100 per hour that would be $200 for labor. The parts which are easily available at about any car parts store for $20(5 wheel studs at $2 apiece and 5 lug nuts at $2 apiece). Even at $100 per hour and if they doubled the cost of the parts to $40 that would still only be $240. Heres the kicker. I had the car towed to a place where they did the SAME EXACT job for $100, and I was out of there in 45 minutes(with the tire put back on!!). Nuff said about this location.

I was looking around quite a bit and I had a tough time finding anything decent for my sister. Then I found Car Craft. Their cars were cleaner than anything I had seen. Found a car for sale on Craigslist that was at Car Craft. I was reluctant to purchase so far from home. Luckily we found Al to be friendly, not pushy. We did fact check him and found that everything he said about car to be true. After we left there was a small issue with the car that he made good on immediately. We would purchase from this business again without hesitation.

Car Craft advertised a car for sale on Craigslist. I called and set up a time to see the car. While I was waiting for, I assume the owner/manager, to walk over to the car where I was standing, another guy who was apparently interested in the car came 5 minutes after I arrived.I popped the hood to look at the motor. Meanwhile the owner had walked into the office with another customer. I walked into the office and asked the owner if he could start the car as I went to get a meter out of my car. When I returned the owner had allowed the other guy to get in the car for a test drive.I told the owner I was there first and should be allowed to test drive it first. He said it didn’t matter. I could drive it afterwards. I asked if that’s how he did business. He said that I was being nitpicky because I asked him if he had any maintenance records. He apparently doesn’t like people to ask questions about a car he’s selling. Then he said the guy offered to pay him his asking price, was I willing to give him the asking price.This guy is a very poor businessman. He gave preference to a man over a women, even though he came after me. It should be first come first serve. If he had someone else interested ahead of time, he should not have set up an appointment with me.Beware....I would never go to or recommend this business to anyone.Stay away from Car Craft

I have two college daughters and this summer they both had jobs a good distance away from home. We ended up buying two Toyota Camrys from Al. The purchase process was low pressure and Al and his guys did a great job of prepping the cars so that they would be ready to go in terms of tires and other things that might nag us.We had decided on Toyota for their reliability and ease of maintenance. Both end up having crazy, one of issues almost right off the bat. Al had told us to call if we had problems so we did. I had honestly thought that this was voice service and that wed be paying for all of these repairs out of pocket or having to press to get them done. Al and his guys took care of both cars issues (both of which he couldnt have foreseen) on his own dime to make sure my girls had reliable cars. I think having kids of his own, he treats his customers as how hed want his kids to be treated in the same situation. Cant recommend him more. Thanks Al and company.

Concerning Dorothy Prockos previous, less-than-stellar Car Craft Review, heres the rest of the story...since we were the other party in question. My husband found this car just after it was posted on CraigsList. He was the first caller (confirmed by Car Craft) and made an appointment to inspect it at 1:00 PM the next day. In addition, he brought the full amount of the asking price in Cash and a set of License Plates along, with the full intention of consummating the deal on the spot, because the car was for our son who was in a pinch...and needed transportation immediately. Due to road construction (which theres plenty of in CT right now), we arrived at 1:15...only to find Dorothy Procko on hand, and inspecting the car. When Al at Car Craft indicated that we were first in line because we called first...the night before...and set an appointment, Dorothy Procko immediately got nasty and belligerent. It seems that she was trying to take advantage of our 15-minute delay, to swoop in and buy the car out from under us. In addition, I find her sexist comment about selling to a man repulsive...because we went up to Car Craft as husband and wife. Congratulations to Al and Car Craft for standing by their commitment and honoring our first call/appointment arrangement! And oh by the way, the reason this seems to be an issue is because it was/is a GOOD CAR...which Car Craft appears to specialize in. In addition, they put a new battery in it before we took it home, changed the oil and inspected the brakes. Highly recommended!!! And thats, the rest of the story...

Stumbled onto CarCraft on FB Marketplace... I live about 40 miles away, and it was well worth the trip! My son bought his first (used car), Al was 100% transparent, great car, fairly priced, overall best purchase experience in 40 years fo buying cars. Al, the owner of car craft is really cool and trustable. While I am searching for a car, most of my friends suggested me to stay away from dealers. But due to time constraint and also couldn’t find good car in Craigslist and other websites, started visiting dealers in and around Hartford.One Saturday, my friend who was also looking for a car joined me. We both visited Car Craft and met Al. He was patient enough to show us all the cars in our price range. Most of the cars were in very good condition and in the price range quoted by Al is very close to KBB value. For most of his cars he has car fax report too.We test drove all the vehicles we liked....trust me ..on that day we bought two cars from him.
