I brought my car in before COVID lockdown and it was stuck there for three months! I received THE best repairs and service with professionalism that doesn’t seem to exist anymore but John seems to hold up with integrity despite popular business models.During COVID lockdown I had to deal with my leasing company and auto insurance giving me the run around for weeks, and John went out to his way to help me negotiate with them, as well as let me store the car around so he could continue with repairs.None of this was necessary but I needed help and he gave it. They even gave me a free rental BMW for six weeks as I had to deal with bureaucratic BS.I can’t recommend this Autobody shop more. My car was spotless and inside and out along with my car being fixed.
Every day I walk past this auto collision center and it is always packed. I had to come in the other day for an estimate, I scraped the entire passenger side against a yellow pole, on a car that does not belong to me. David and Harry were extremely friendly, helpful with advice and taking care of the situation. Harry made the damage an easy fix. Location of this auto collision center is great, inside is clean, and all staff were understanding and personable.
They stole car in 2017. They put a lien on mine!!!
This place also goes by the name of West Hollywood Collision Center. Don’t let them tow you!!!! As others have said when you scroll down past the most recent reviews, these guys are scammers. Was waiting for a truck to tow my car to my body shop, and these guys showed up acting like they were the tow truck my insurance called. Said they could only take it to their shop. I sent them away. Then someone called me right after claiming that West Hollywood Collision Center was just the second location for Pristine and that they were sending cars there because the main shop was too busy. I was assured that my guy at Pristine would be the one to look at the car. I said ok send them back. Then I called Pristine directly just to confirm it was legit - NOPE. TOTAL LIES!!! They straight up tried to defraud me while I was vulnerable.Tow truck drivers even told me it was definitely totaled in a last ditch attempt to get me to let them tow it (bc who cares where it goes if it’s totaled, right?) which was also a humongous lie. I cannot believe they are still in business.Read the West Hollywood Collision Center reviews for what happens if they successfully confuse you into allowing the tow and notice how there are two body shops at the same address 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Shady much?
I am livid... I feel ripped off and just upset that when I got there they first time everything was yes yes and when I picked up my car it was really you told us??I wish I would have noticed the reviews before I left my car. A friend recommended this place and so I went. DO YOUR RESEARCH! Do not just leave your car there.Ill list what went wrong with my experience. There was never no communication. They never called me on any car update (even when I asked them too) or even to pick up my car. I had to be the one calling. What they said they would do at the beginning they didnt and acted like they forgot. They took unreasonable (my insurance agreed) of time to fix my car when it wasnt bad to begin with. My guess is that they get more cars than they can handle and just park them till they can get to them. My car was there more than 20 days!I was told my car would be ready, when I got there I had to wait about 30 min for it and apparently they had just finished detailing it because my seats were freaking soaked and I had to do some errands and walked around with a wet arse, the rest of the day. Will never recommend this place! Look for better and more honest people to deal with, not just people that are money hungry. I am trying to think of something good to say. I guess they cleaned my car and filled my gas tank, but then again for what they charged my insurance company seems the least they could have done.
Is there a negative 5 UNstar rate?Beware entering these premises... they will strip your car & then try to charge you for it & for the storage... it is their MO... they hit you when you drive in & take you for the worst ride you could ever imagine! Biggest rip off ever! BEWARE! BE WARNED!
My experience from taking my car to this shop.My BMW was taken to the shop on March 8th around 3pm after a very bad accident. I didnt ask to go to this shop. I was informed by the AAA truck driver this is an approved AAA shop for holding cars. I found out better later. The next morning at 8am. (less than 24 hours) I went to the shop to make sure everything was ok. They put a piece of paper in front of me to sign to hold the car for $125 a day. That was all I was told. I was never informed of any charges OR was I given a copy of what I signed at the time.By Wed March 11th the shop claimed $5000 in teardown charges to my insurance no one authorized. This is still being worked out.UPDATE #1 Im now contacting the Bureau of Automotive Repair B.A.R. regarding this shops practices. They help police these shops and their practices.UPDATE #2 I was contacted by the B.A.R. and this shop is very much being looked at. The BAR representative even knew the owners name Ken and described him so I knew we were talking about the same person. Also the BBB is going to get involved.
