I was selling my brothers car as executrix of his estate--a sad but necessary transaction. I was concerned that I would be lowballed because I am female, the car had some paint issues and other damage, and it was an estate sale. I wasnt familiar with their brand, but I figured a meeting was worth the 5-minute drive. I booked an appointment online; it was confirmed by phone a few minutes later, and again on the morning of the appointment.They are located in an area that is somewhat industrial, but dont be put off by that. Its not a fancy office, but it is very professional, and I immediately felt comfortable.I was greeted quickly, warmly and professionally, and with compassion. I provided the necessary documentation to Michael, who entered it into the system, asking a few questions to round out the information. He explained that, in order to validate the price the system recommended, he would need to inspect the car, and asked if he could do so. I agreed to the inspection, and after about 5-10 minutes spent looking over the car, Michael returned to the office. He gave me his assessment of the cars condition, and presented me with an offer that was better than I had received through other channels. We negotiated a bit, and landed on a slightly higher number that I believe represented a very fair price. I was given copies of all documentation and a check. Right there on the spot.I would send anyone I know to WeBuyAnyCar in WPB - they are legit. Every step of the process was pleasantly explained to me. After less than an hour, I walked away with a huge sense of relief at having this transaction off my mind, and with a check for an amount that I was very comfortable with. We dont feel like we got a good deal on our car, we were quoted $1,900 and I did mention that the transmission was kind of slipping, we were told that might affect the price, (which is understandable), but when we the car was appraised and they found 3 lights on the dash (ABS, traction control, and another) due to faulty sensors, we were told that the price would be reduced $700- per light ($2,100), we wasnt even told how much was the reduction for the faulty transmission, in our opinion, that is way too much of a price to reduce per light on the dash, its ridiculous. Who comes up with this number? Faulty sensors probably can be changed for about $50 to $150 -depending on the sensor, bottom line, the man told us that the price was going to be reduced to $450, then wiggled the price up to $700 -so as you can see, the numbers between our original offer, the reduction amounts, and the offer given to us does not really make sense, it seemed to us he was making up the numbers as he go. Nevertheless, we decided to accept his offer and sell the car because we just wanted to get rid of it, we didnt want it sitting in our driveway or have the time to look for other places to get rid of it. I think we should have gotten at least $1,000. Please revise your faulty lights analysis, those reduction prices for them are outrageously UNFAIR.

Made an appt. yesterday, brought the RAV 4 in to their offices and he checked it out for about 20 - 30 minutes and offered a fair price. I brought it back the next day and made the mistake of not checking that the registration was current and that was a little issue, since the system that is used in FL to verify was down. The online valuation indicated that the car was worth approximately $1,100.00, but we were offered a paltry $51.00. Once we rose to leave, they asked what we would consider to be a fair price. We requested $500, and ended up with a $400 check after paying $100 for the title transfer. Granted, the car is a 2003, but it has been driven only 60,000 miles and is in very good condition. The rep we worked with was very polite and was only acting as he had been taught, but be aware that the online valuation will likely be considerably higher than the actual offer. Its just a ploy to lure you into the office.FOLLOW UP COMMENT:After posting this review I was contacted by a local manager and offered another $100. I accepted her offer and the check arrived within a week. Im satisfied with the companys response, but hope theyll begin offering customers a fair price at the onset of the negotiation.
