The owner will go above and beyond to make sure customers questions are answered, the work is done as quickly as it can be and the price is reasonable. This repair shop is the best place I’ve ever went to for my car. They handled it perfectly and I can’t wait to be a loyal member with them. 5 stars absolutely!!!!

They charged my mom $1200 for an exhaust leak. They have it back to me even worse. When I brought it back they had the nerve to tell me I needed to spend another $500… the car is worth less than 4 grand. I can only imagine how many other innocent people are getting scammed from this place.

Traveled to West Springfield for a trade show at the BIg E from Maine. Thieves chopped out my Cadillac Converter on a Friday night in hotel parking lot. Spartan was the only place that picked up the phone at 9am Saturday in the area. Got a rough estimate of $1200 and dropped Honda Element off at 10am. They have a loaner car for $20, which was really useful. They finished repair at 3pm at cost of $1600, the extra was because thieves chopped off multiple oxygen sensors. Grateful to have a solid repair shop open on a Saturday, and able to get the job done by closing time.

Spartan got my car fixed and had it done quickly. They also noticed an exhaust leak that I had ( unrelated to what I brought it in for) and fixed it for me at a reasonable price. Really impressed with their attention to detail and value. They are straightforward about what needs to be fixed and discussed all my options.

Tried to convince us we needed more parts replaced than we actually did! They wanted us to pay over $400 for a part my husband ended up replacing for $12. Wont be going back there!

Super fast and friendly! Brought my car in to get a new exhaust pipe. They brought my car into the bay, and within 30 mins, it was done and at a reasonable price. My car has never sounded so good. They know what they are doing, I’ve found my new mechanic shop.

The shop guys are very friendly and knowledgeable. Fast and print service and I also love that they are open on Saturdays.

Friendly, accommodating staff, Nick is great . Never had any issues with their work. He will always call if something comes up and they are fairly priced,, NO surprises or constant upselling, I Would recommend them and have been a customer for almost 10 years.

I work construction for a company that travels from eastern MA with 5-7 trucks daily. Often we bring the trucks here for oil changes but we have also brought them for repairs and inspections. We have had great experiences and will continue to return here while working in the area.

Spartan does a great job keeping our four cars running smoothly. If the job will take longer than a day, they have a loaner car that we seldom need to take advantage of because they get the job done quickly.

This was supposed to be a NEW stainless steel exhaust. After no joke 15 times returned for leaks, melting shocks,and hittn drive shafts their not working on it anymore. So dont expect even a stainless exhaust to last more than a year

It pays to go to a reputable auto center and thats the case at Spartan. I go to Spartan for all of my Auto services whether theyre major or minor. The owners are local and it definitely has the hometown feel when you walk in. The mechanics are very reliable Ive had them bring my car in even when they are very busy. The bathrooms and waiting area are cleanly so I dont mind waiting for my car for minor jobs. Ive gone to other shops in the past but once I switched over to Spartan theyre the only ones I trust.

STAY AWAY! Third time back in one day for same issue. No heat on in here, I’m freezing sitting in their waiting lounge. THEY AREN’T EVEN WEARING MASKS. I explained what my issue was and I was told that was incorrect, they decided to fix another part of the exhaust and charge me for the incorrect part. NEVER AGAIN.

They charged me 36$$$ 4 a light bulb 4 a five minutes job I went the other day 2 another garage 4 a head lite bulb n I was 15$$$ thats a big difference I asked how much it would be he wouldnt answer he just said leave the key n we will take a look I didnt understand why he couldnt answer how Much it would be

West Springfield ma location Im a regular customer but lately the guy at the front desk been over pricing on everything not happy at all with my last visit

Spartan auto care in west Springfield is the best place for your cars. They have a master technician there that can pretty much diagnose and fix just about anything. His name is Mike Aubrey. They have another guy who knocks out huge jobs pretty quick. Engine rebuilds / timing chains and belts and motor replacements by another auto technician he does great work. And all the other technicians there are all really good at what they do. Waiting room is clean. Bathrooms are clean. They have a popcorn machine / massage chair / arcade games / tv’s. And stuff for the kids to do. Great place to do business with. The Katsoulis’s brothers / owners of the company are really nice and will give you a ride if your car is being worked on or give you a loaner car if needed.

Nick runs a great shop, my go to for maintenance and repair.

We live out of state and have a daughter in school back east with one of our cars. Difficult to find a reliable shop like Spartan. They are honest in assessing what needs to be done, fair in their pricing, but mostly they back up their work. Had a small issue with one of the parts after a repair and with their 12 months parts warranty they handled the issue right away. Refreshing to find this kind of experience these days.

Went there last summer for an A/C recharge. Was told my evaporator was leaking and their machine could sniff freon. I told him to just charge it. Its now almost a year later and it still blows ice cold. Tried to scam me out of $1100. Do not go here.

SPARTAN AUTO CARE CENTER WILL ROB YOU!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. These guys robbed me blind. I was on a business trip and my brakes could not be ignored any longer. They were actually grinding so I desperately needed a new set of pads and rotors. This was the nearest auto center to my hotel so I came here. They charged me $989 for four new sets of pads and four new rotors. The second I left their location the brakes squeaked and I mean loud as hell. I had an appointment to get to 2 hours away so I couldnt go back. The brakes continued to squeak for the next 3 months until I could no longer take it and brought it to my regular guy. He said they used the wrong size pads and that metal was contacting metal. I bought new pads online and in total it cost me less than $200 to change my pads including labor. This place needs to be fined.

Don’t ever bring your vehicle here I brought it here to get done my car sat in the back for over a week car unlocked they never touched it and I told them I needed it as soon as possible because I need it for dialysis and here we are two weeks later and they haven’t even touched my car and then they got mad because I’m getting it towed out of there and have it sent to somebody else and having to send a mechanic put another motor in it for the same price that they were going to do the head gaskets for And I had a jack and jackstands in my car and some tools so I’m hoping that all the stuff is still in my car if I could’ve done this job myself in the driveway I would’ve put my landlord wouldn’t let me don’t ever come to this place or recommend this place they are terrible they are liars because when I called after three days they told me that the whole top of my motor was already taken apart so I popped up a couple of days later asked if I could see my car and it was sitting in the back of the shop untouched unlocked and I had a jack and jackstands in my car and some tools so I’m hoping that all the stuff is still in my car if I could’ve done this job myself in the driveway I would’ve but my landlord wouldn’t let me don’t ever come to this place or recommend this place they are terrible they are liars because when I called after three days they told me that the whole top of my motor was already taken apart so I popped up a couple of days later asked if I could see my car and it was sitting in the back of the shop untouched unlocked. Terrible experience! Went in for break repairs paid $850 dollars. Went in two weeks later breaks making loud noise, they want another $750 dollars. Will not go there again.

Spartan is a great place for auto care. The owners are great people and make sure their customers are satisfied.

My advice please stay away from spartan in spfld and west spfld please please their no good I talk with people that put in civil complants against Spartan auto care center. Including me. If u have any problems with Spartan auto care file a civil complaint at the police station or city hall. They need to be shut down asap DONT BE THEIR NEXT VICTIM.

Terrible service! I dont recommend anybody to go there because you are being ripe off my the owner! I will never come back here! Im bringing the owner of the establishment to court to get all my money back! Update I won my case in court!

If you want to wait on them all day and get seriously overcharged for work, that sometimes doesnt even solve the problem, go to this place. Ive learned my lesson, never going there ever again.

Always try to get you on unnecessary repairs. $8 flat tire patch which he refuses to fix (unable to fix) and tried to sell me new tires.Went down the street and got it fix right away.And that happens multiple time since i have 1 of theres multiple oil change card.

Called this place to receive a quote on replacing two lower control arms on my vehicle. The person I spoke with quoted me $500 for the job, claiming there was “a lot of work involved, and it will take about 4 hours to complete.” I called another (different) shop, and not only did they complete the job in under 2 hours, they charged $180 for everything.

Amazing job worked on my car found the problem and worked put pricing with me ended up getting a new computer for my car and a new engine
