Oh boy. I’m coming back. The Catskill salmon sandwich was amazing. Coffee was smooth, and the freshly made almond croissant……… business well established.Definitely the best in town.
Stopped in on our way to paddleboard to get some snacks. The chocolate chip cookie was doughy and the chocolate was still gooey. The other cookies looked so good as well (oatmeal raisin and ginger). Didnt get any of the bread but definitely would have if I had the space, it looked so delicious. Ice coffee was great too. Definitely will be going back.
I have been to Kneads about a dozen times now and Ive always had a wonderful experience! Ive tried seasonal soups, salads, and sandwiches The quality, flavors, uniqueness and freshness of the products are excellent! I always bring home bread and a few pastries to enjoy later on. Staff, food, location - awesome!
Consistently delicious whole grain breads and pastries. Very nice to see a bakery milling their own flour. Sandwiches and larger dishes are well though out and delicious. Very friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. Lots of seating available, inside and outside.
We came to get a loaf of bread, which weve enjoyed in the past and decided to try some brunch. Prices for food appeared high but honestly they give you your moneys worth and then some in quality, portion, and flavor. The bacon and egg sandwich is one of the best breakfast sandwiches Ive EVER had. The salmon sandwich had a mountain of smoked salmon that is on top of delicious sliced potatoes. Come hungry and they wont disappoint!!!
Cardamom bun and mocha croissant out of this world! Light and flavorful a hard duality to master, these were literally perfection. Also, enjoyed the truffle, airy not dense. Best bakery I have been to in a long time and what we all pine for when conjuring up an ideal bakery fantasy. Its arrived!
Just tried this place for the first time. I won’t be coming back. I got the roast beef sandwich and a coffee. The coffee was mediocre..not much flavor and expensive. The roast beef sandwich I paid $18. The portion was so small! And the bread was so hard. I’ve never had such hard bread before. It was a complete waste of money. Oh and to top it off the sandwich came with a salad. The salad was so soggy. The lettuce wasn’t good at all.
Beautiful place and decor. Great coffee and pastries.
Masters of wheat.Great coffee.Lovely attentive staff.Even the sweets are imbued with nutty flavor from the freshly ground wheat.Run here now, get everything. We loved the croissant, scone, baguette and took home freshly milled bread flour.
Got the sausage egg and cheese on the milk bun and it was exactly what I needed; with a runny yolk and a perfect hash brown. Purchased many of the baked goods to taste at home and all have been amazing (coffee cake, mini babka, baguette...) !! The service was stellar and i cant wait to go back and bring friends.
I have tried this place a few times, and have been disappointed with the sourdough (either burnt or raw in the middle, sometimes both). The barista is great though! The woman manning the farmer’s market today, however, was very smug and self-satisfied and I left with an uncomfortable feeling. I think I’m done trying this place.
By far, the best bakery around, not to mention the absolutely delicious food! Finally, a place to find a wonderful snack, breakfast or lunch. The menu is ever changing, and evolving, keeping things interesting and always delicious, offering marvelous sandwiches, salads + plates. The ingredients are clearly fresh, seasonal, + locally sourced. The husband and wife team behind this establishment are not only masters of their craft; they are kind, knowledgable, welcoming and appreciative of every customer that walks through the door. Their creativity shines through in every baked good, and dish that they offer. In fact, the entire staff is friendly, professional, accommodating, and unpretentious.Always greeted by name, chatting happily while waiting for my food, I feel as if the owners + their wonderful team have been my friends forever.Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Super overpriced ($19 for a sandwich and chips), but the staff was very nice.
They served the best French toast I’ve ever had BY FAR! Amazing service was so friendly and they even gave us some complimentary Belgium waffles. My husband had a very hearty bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. Whole wheat bread and pastries take some getting used to at first, the texture is different, but now I don’t ever want to go back! Their baked goods have a nutty flavor over processed white flour baked goods don’t. Quality is undeniable. Their baguettes are a staple in my home. 10/10 would recommend!!!
This is the finest bakery/cafe I have come across. Sure it’s a bit pricey but well worth the extra spend. Everything is local and natural. The breads are to write home about and give as gifts! I wish it was closer to me and I would be there frequently. I have tried numerous breads which are all perfect. On the kitchen side I had a fried chicken which was possibly the best I ever had. The coffee is as good as it gets too. To sum up just go!
So I ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich. The egg was perfectly cooked, the sausage was incredible quality, and it had a homemade hash brown on it as well. It seemed like the bun was a whole grain brioche? But the real star was a chocolate bread pudding muffin. It was on another level. Held together like a muffin but still custardy like bread pudding with a crisp on top. The chocolate wasnt overwhelming And you got flavors of everything when you ate it. Truly one of the best bakery products Ive ever had in my life.
The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They do an excellent job keeping people at a respectable distance when you are inside and they have set up outdoor seating as well. I was greeted at the door and did not have to wait long for my order. You get to watch the bakers in the back cook their bread so you know they are following all safety protocols. Now the food - Excellent! Everything is shipped and purchased from local farms daily. You can taste the freshness! I am yet to try a soup I dont like. It is an hour drive for me but I am definitely going back.
Enjoyed a delicious lunch outside on the patio. BLT was delicious and the freshly made chips were amazing. The staff was friendly and so polite. Definitely will go back again. Brought some freshly baked bread home that my family really enjoyed.
Best almond croissant I have ever had in my life & the chocolate bread pudding is so good it should probably be illegal
This place is fantastic! My family and I have been several times since they’ve opened, and each time the baked goods and pastries do not disappoint. I highly recommend their sourdough bread and chocolate croissants!! Delicious.
My wife and I have had the pleasure of indulging in both breakfast and lunch at Kneads on a few occasions. The changing menu provided us with a wonderful variety of choices, all of which have been well prepared and quite delicious. We look forward to our next visit.
Picked up two breakfast sandwiches to go.. Easy and faster service than I was expecting, actually. The sandwiches were tasty and appropriately fancy for the price point :)
Everyone was great! The sandwiches, baked goods, coffee and salads are incredible
Literally the best bread I’ve ever had in my life. Great customer service. Cheers to the owners! They really built something incredible. As a matter of fact I’m going back to get more bread and croissants today!!
I just can’t say enough good things about this place. We desperately needed this! The quality of the food AND drinks are amazing, but the service is just so friendly and solid. Love it!
Best Bakery in CT! Hands down!!
Best baked goods and meals. Excellent wait staff. Very clean. Adhering to pandemic rules. Will be going back often!
Super Friendly Staff, Great coffee and pastries. Will definitely be coming often.
Cooked food items were good. coffee was expensive and meh. the biggest issue is baked goods all sit out unprotected. this would not be acceptable to me pre-pandemic, let alone when there is a pandemic raging on. items are next to register, at kids face level, kids touching, workers face level, people reaching over, etc. the one barrier that is erected is a joke and will do nothing, especially with items spread out everywhere else. the loaves of bread are at workers face level behind the register while they are packaging items. i think that they need to do a whole re-working of their setup.
Wonderfully executed food! Highly recommended!
Had the ham sandwich and brought home a loaf of bread. All excellent, will be back.
So obsessed with this new gem in Westport!!! Best lattes around - reminds me of the lattes I had in Australia that just taste SO GOOD (my mom agreed). Also, the man making the lattes (I need to catch his name next time!) is soo friendly and fun - as are the rest of the staff! Going here just puts me in such a good mood! I usually get 2 lattes because theyre so good and have tried the baguettes and ciabatta rolls and egg sandwich and everything is SO delicious, There arent many places like this in Westport - its really special.
$18 sandwiches...?
