Definitely recommend it. The gentleman who helped me setup was great. I had a short term rental. Move in and move out was hassle free.

I have been renting units here for 14 years for work purposes and I can say this is the best facility if you want good customer service and people who are willing to help you out. I rent with another company down in the southern part of the state and have also rented with other Extra Spaces in the state but they dont even compare to Olesen Rd. Extra Space staff go out of their way to help you and make sure you have a great experience. Cant say enough good things about this facility.

The Staff at this place are Awesome! I rented a unit online. Once, I got to the unit, it was actually too small for the items I needed to store. I went into the office and was greeted by Ebony. I had the absolute best experience trying to get a storage unit (My first time) today. This morning I was researching different storage places around me and their prices. Looking for the best price. Well I put a reserve on one of your guys deals BC I saw one that I thought was probably fairly cheap for what I was looking for.. And after that I continued looking to see if there might be something even cheaper.. Well I did that for 5 to 10 mins and I get a phone call from Ebony the assistant manager asking about my reservation and letting me also know that that was your guys last one at that price. Just letting me know..going out of there way to warn me that if I am serious and want this one.. I need to move on it or I might very well end up losing it if I did want it. And I did!!! BC before Ebony called i looked at many other storage facilities for better price AND I DIDNT FIND IT. So i wanted to get the Unit here definitely. Ebony was an absolute pleasure to talk to and work with to seal the deal on this unit. I came in to the office today never using storage before. I was asking question about units and parking and I would like to say the young lady that helped me Ebony (Eb) was so polite. She opened the door for me, she introduce her self. I felt like I was asking her a lot of questions but she reassured me that my questions were great and she honestly answered every question I asked and was so kind about it and even made me smile under my mask. First time renting a storage space and the process went smoothly. Ebony was very helpful and polite. She got everything done electronically and we didn’t even have to go meet her in person. She was responsive to texts and emails and very helpful with explaining the process.

Please be aware this facility has leaking foundations. Your stuff will be ruined. They also leave the gate open. Horrible customer service and offer no help when your items are ruined. The contract you sign makes them responsible for nothing. Very shady. Watch out!

I been storing here for years. Always seeing new people. I met a young lady I believe her name was Ebony she gave me her card she was the most kindest person I ever met there. I felt bad seeing her sick but she kept a smile on the whole time. And answered all my question and helped me with my unit. I want to say thank you to her. I wish more people was like her even sick she still was helpful. I wish I could have helped her.

Stored stuff for over a year in a climate controlled unit. No issues with storing. Staff was always very polite and helpful. Gate was locked every time I went. Store manager was very professional and awesome to work with when I set up my rental unit.It was December when I moved my stuff out. Rating 4 stars bc multiple times when I went I had to search in multiple other buildings in the cold and even snow to find a rolling cart to move my stuff out of unit. Which I then had to walk it down to my building in the cold. Every building should have 2 and no missions in the cold wasting lots of time walking to & thru multiple buildings to see where one is hiding to wheel one back. Cell service isn’t good to nada the higher up the hill your unit is. I had to get in my car and drive down to the office to speak with the front office to see if they knew where a cart was. Nope. I had to search on foot. I am appreciative the carts are there, but it’s frustrating when you go there depending on it and it can’t be located.

Five star will feel very comfortable leaving my belongings there. Ebony took time and explained and answered all my question. Ebony was aces.

Came in looking for a spot went to 3 different extra spaces rocky hill never have no one working east Hartford was too high came here and they didn’t have the size I needed but the girl I met I think her name is Ebony was so nice and kind she tried her hardest to help me and was very polite I will be renting for her as soon as a opening comes up won’t go no where else.

I want to recognize Tiffany For her guidance in helping me to select the best units to meet my needs. She was able to troubleshoot a previous reservation, and swap it out so that all 3 units are 10x15 climate controlled. More importantly she give me good advice on what to do with my temperpedic mattress and how the dimensions of the units are in cubic feet, and not simply length and width. I would have been in for a rude awakening on moving day. In addition she was able to find a unit which will make it easiest for movers who will be lifting heavy equipment since it will be a straight shot. In addition, she swapped out a door with a unit which opens like a garage door from the bottom-up. She obviously knows the services of the company and tries to tweak what you have to what you need. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Never again will I use this facility. No one is on the same page with communication and pricing. You speak to one person call and pay your bill and then someone else gives you a different price.

I would definitely choose Extra Space Storage in Wethersfield again if I needed to secure a storage unit. The contents that I stored were from my Moms home and some things were family heirlooms. I live closer to two storage facilities in Newington and made the choice NOT to utilize them. Extra Space Storage is very clean, secure, reasonably priced and the staff was not only helpful but also very pleasant (Ebony & Brittany).Now I have 2 kids in college and at some point I may need to store their things for the summer. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.
