The service department is always a nightmare to work with. You walk up no one acknowledges you. They give you a time estimate and it always ends up being HOURS longer than they say. Natasha always has an attitude. Justin decided to go on lunch while I was waiting for my car without updating me. No one cares or knows what is going on…. Every single time I’ve been here it’s been like this…. Today I went in for a front wheel issue and it took 3+ hours just find out what was wrong with it. I had to ask for updates myself since I went 3+ hours without any information and when I asked about it Justin got upset with me. He replied with “do you want it done correctly or do you want me to just throw car parts at it. Like what a way to speak with a customer never once did he apologize or seemed empathetic. He charged me the most he could to get back at me. Left with nothing done to my car and 4 hours gone to waste never coming back again.
Brought my car in for tires and oil change. Was notified later that they found some issues that need to be taken care of. It is great working with a dealership that wants to keep my car in top performance so that I do not need to worry with my family using it at any time.

I left my car 3 days ago for diagnosing transmission. Guy who works service center said It will take 2 days. I was super surprised when i heard it take 2days only for diagnose. Service center guy he said : when your car ready i will let you know. Of course he is never call me back. I recently went into Bill Stasek Chevrolet and had the absolute pleasure of working with Gloria (Internet Sales), Kurt (Sales) and Teddy (Finance) on an all new 2021 Chevrolet TrailBlazer ACTIV. Everything went so incredibly well. I felt comfortable and really taken care of. Most importantly, I wasn’t stressed, or pressured, or worried.I started my journey with Gloria when I inquired about the car online. I was more nervous than anything due to the current pandemic. Gloria set the tone for the purchase, and made sure I was entirely comfortable by assuring me everyone took it seriously (which believe it or not, is an issue in car dealerships currently). Gloria was definitely accurate in that. Every time I needed to speak with someone, masks were on and they did their best to be distanced.Kurt did an incredible job at making everything run as efficiently and as comfortably as possible. More on Kurt later.Once I met Teddy, he was just as great. We had great conversations. He even worked with the bank to get the original deal I came in with, which was the absolute best part (for the record that is a $33 DIFFERENCE). Made my entire night.After ensuring the deal was set, Kurt set me up with a tutorial on the car (which I needed with all of these new features) and started my welcome call with OnStar to set up all of the features in the car. After that, he even helped me transfer my parking sticker to my new car without damaging it! It’s the small things sometimes that make a huge difference.At another dealership I had visited prior, some of these things didn’t even happen, so for them to have happened made me feel special, and that I had Kurts full attention when I needed him.Finally, Kurt had explained the MyChevrolet app and the points you get when you buy a new Chevy (which you should look for when you buy a Chevy, you can get some nice accessories for your car at a cheap or free price).After that, I was on my way. I live about half an hour away and I’m willing to drive the whole way and back for the service that I received. So much so that today, I visited their parts department to get some accessories for my new car. I met Joe, another great guy at this dealership. Ordered me the part I needed for my hitch, and I was outta there.Overall, it was incredible, and still is. I usually don’t enjoy dealerships at all, but this was something so different. Everyone was so nice and incredible. I got a unbeatable deal, and some of the best service that I’ve ever experienced. Thank you to everyone at Bill Stasek Chevrolet. You’ve got my business for life!

Well, you know my wife, Esther. She was firm on what the truck needed to do for us. My grandfather Zebulon always told me we needed a strong truck. We needed something special for our family. Well John greeted us first and got us in touch with Mary Ellen. Why Mary Ellen, knew the ins and outs of those trucks like she’d been born on a mountain top. We had a truck appear to us like any good sitcom about life and wholesomeness. John and Mary Ellen remind me of a friend. “Don’t take unfair advantage of any man. Don’t let any man take unfair advantage of you.” Why I could just tell you stories about that kind of thing. Anyway, we ended up purchasing a truck. It’s a great truck. We met Benjamin and James Robert. Did you know that Benjamin has a smaller screen than James Robert? You do know that with any family, especially with kids. They’ll be controversy. Benjamin really should have a big screen like James Robert. It’s not fair to Benjamin. James Robert with his fancy screen and then poor Benjamin.Anyway. Waited 2 1/4 hours to get an oil change and a wash. When I was told the car would ready by the time I would walk down the car would ready. I was not. I was. Even washed. Never have I bad experience at with service. I am a preferred customer and got zero help or response to why this happened. All I got was have nice day any anyway. I going to switch Volkswagen they have to better chey. Thank for nothing.
Showed up at almost 3 p.m. with wipers not working. Anyone else would have turned me away, but Staseks team said they would check and see what they could do. Of course, they were able to help me out and fix the problem while I waited in their comfortable lounge. Thanks Stasek Team for the amazing service, as always!!!

Being a longtime client of Bill Stasek Chevrolet, the remedy for change, is often to trust your salesperson.Given every opportunity to make appointments to meet a representative randomly through Gloria, and receive award winning customer service, I did not want a random meeting.I chose to return to the Sales Specialist who assisted me two years ago, her name is Krystle, in the SUV and Truck arena of vehicles.I drove away after only three hours with a TRAX, in white, a first for me. She had anticipated my needs, through accurate qualification and I just want to say, it kept me a customer of Stasek Chevrolet.

HORRIBLE wound be the best word to describe my experience with this dealership. Worst Experience in my life- I should of bought a FORD !!! My wife & I bought a new 2021 Tahoe on Saturday 2/20, the following day we had tire issues, which of course my wife called 1st thing Monday Morning. After unsuccessfully getting no one on the phone, including management, my wife left a message with the receptionist. Of course no one called her, they called me. I was NOT driving the vehicle she was. Since we are about 1 hours away from Wheeling, all Bill Stasek could say was take the vehicle to the nearest Chevy dealer around your area so they can diagnose it. I proceeded to take it, after diagnosing the tire, they said that the tire had a manufacture defect. They advise us to take the vehicle back to where we had purchase it to get a new one or have them called the dealership I was so they could do it for them. I called Bill Stasek & they told me to bring the vehicle to them, so I set up the appointment for Saturday 2/27 at 8 am !! Tell me why the dealership had the audacity to imply that we had damaged the tire, they told me we need to do another diagnosis to make sure its NOT damage & they to keep me in the waiting area for 4+ hours..WOW talk about BAD customer service... This vehicle was in there lot for IDK how long, this is something that they should of caught.. Its not like they did not know what the issue was. They should of change the tire in less than 30 min.. All the way from management, sales rep & the service department did a poor job handling our situation. Of course I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone, I will probably tell them go buy a FORD !!! Up until today my wife & I are still waiting for a call from management. Also, with all the money that this dealership is making they could give the place a good face lift, they could offer a little bit more than a lousy cup of coffee
Shawn was the most helpful person throughout the process of getting my car fixed after being hit by another vehicle. He was beyond gracious with speaking to the other vehicle owners insurance rep, which is just a generally difficult thing to do. He was supportive and didnt mind when I called to check in a couple times a week. He made sure my car was fixed PROPERLY and fought the insurance rep to do so, as they would prefer to cut corners and pay less money to fix your car.If Im ever in an accident again (hopefully not), I will bring my car here, no questions asked.
Sales had promised a detail in the first year as part of the sale and then claimed to me and my husband that was never said. Service scheduled me for a detail and said they’d work it out and I drove 30 miles to the dealership and they refused to do what they had promised. I was so surprised actually! I had liked our salesperson but he lied to us unfortunately and we should’ve recorded him or made him put something more specific in writing

Victor who scheduled the new appointment was very caring and helpful.Natalia was the service rep. She was very knowledgeable and caring. I felt that she truly wanted the best for my Corvete. She even introduced me to Ricky the mechanic.Ricky made me feel that I was in good hands. He was friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explain things.All in all, just a great experience from all I dealt with in Service.
BUYER BEWARE: they use two common scams on unaware used car buyers: 1) they insist on a credit check even when you’re paying up front so they can better leverage your financial state; saying “they have to know who the money is coming from” which is pure nonsense. 2) they add “VIN engraving” to the cost after you agree to buy. It’s $400, completely unnecessary, and they just repeat “it’s a service we provide”, even when you insist you don’t want it. They even told us they “can’t come down on the price” when we asked them not to do it, acting as if a $400 bogus procedure they had yet to even perform was actually part of the car’s price.Finally: the minute you grow uncomfortable and push back against any of this, the friendly grand-pa sales persona drops. We were told we’d “better be ready to buy” if he got the manager to drop the VIN scam. (He didn’t, and the manager had the audacity to say in front of me “We can’t come down. We price them to sell already.” Again: the $400 VIN engraving is not part of the price. It‘s a made-up service you can do yourself if you actually find it necessary.)All in all, stay away, especially if you’re buying used and up front. The minute they realize they won’t be able to milk any more money from financing they’ll start tacking on the garbage to your bill.

I am a long time regular customer, but thinking of taking my 10 year old GMC elsewhere for an oil change. I asked to also have checked an issue with my lift gate alert light. I declined the $300+ repair for this but was billed anyway $160 for diagnostics. Questioning this charge was not well received by the service rep. ‘C’mon guys, really?

I was met promptly asked what my needs were I explained that I was there for my fist oil change on my new truck. I explained that I had made an appointment and was going to wait for it. The service writer said that wasnt an issue and shown the waiting area my truck was serviced and they washed my truck which took me by surprise because I didnt ask for that. This is my first purchase and service at Bill Stasek Chevy and I very satisfied.
Bought chevy traverse in 2018. And bought road side assistance for 7yrs as it was used car. Was told we can cancel it anytime and will get refund for the rest fo the money. Made a trade in with another company and cancelled the 7yrs road side assistance in January 2021 (asked to come in office by jeff principio/ accounts). Gave all the papers and everything. Left so many voice mails to jeff and emails but no response till now (july now) Very unprofessional and irresposible place to deal with .should not sell something if cannot keep the words.
For the most part, this is a great company with great employees. I have leased several cars from here and my family has been using this company for over 10+ years. My last 2 experiences have been insulting to say the very least. Both times Justin H, an employee in the Service Department was solely responsible for this.About 2-3 months ago I brought my truck in for an oil change, I had an appointment of course. Oil changes usually run about 40 min when I have an appointment. After almost an hour I went back to ask about an ETA and this Justin fellow thought it was OK to yell IT HAS NOT EVEN BEEN AN HOUR, wow, ok maybe he is having a off day let it go.... and I get it, sometimes, times will vary but asking an ETA is not too much to ask for, is it?Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. My truck sprung an oil leak and I spoke with Tom on the phone, he told me to bring it in and they will take care of it. Tom is a great guy and always nothing short of professional. So I pull in the next day at 8:30 AM and Justin waddles on over to me with a smirk to ask me what he can do for me. I reply I spoke with Tommy on the phone yesterday, can he help me out? He rolls his eyes at me and turns around to walk over to Tom. Mind you Tom is only standing less than 10 ft away, I can literally hear the conversation. Justin says to Tom in a high pitched whiny voice He said Tommmmyyyyyy knows why he is here and he needs you. I presume this was his pathetic attempt to mock me.This is the second negative experience I had with Justin. I asked him if he had an issue with me and a shouting match ensued. He did not have a reason for mocking me rather than just repeating a flustered Did you not say get Tom, Did you not say get Tom, did you...etc. Maybe he thought I did not hear him, still not an excuse. I work in a similar industry and I understand the importance of customer service. I WOULD NEVER SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER that way, EVER. After stuttering over his words, he was flustered and fled the scene. I saw him when I picked up my truck yesterday and he looked at the floor and did not even acknowledge me or the incident. Honestly, a simple apology would have fixed the entire situation. Is this an acceptable way to treat valued customers?I get it, people have bad days but if you can not act like an adult/professional, stay home. Needless to say, I think I will be taking my business elsewhere after this lease is up. I had to take my car back after a recent repair created terrible noise. Turned out it was faulty parts. After the problem was diagnosed, replacements parts were quickly obtained and installed on my vehicle. I really appreciate the work in getting me a loaner car as tax season is very challenging at our house.

As this was my first service visit since purchasing the vehicle in April, he told me it was complimentary which was an added benefit. The service was provided in a timely manner and was returned with a spotless finish as a car wash had also been provided. I was very happy with the service and look forward to my next visit.

I went in for a oil change and they also reccomended replacing a couple of air filters. Everything went smooth but it did take almost 2 hours which I didnt plan on. But overall, everything went well.
I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. The bill states that Name Is Mud as far as Im concerned . They Deal in deceptive fraudulent practices. The sales man told me that my car had two VIN numbers, in case it gets stolen theyll have the second VIN number. that is an outright lie. they show you half the documents to sign you have to ask them to go over the deal with you they lied saying they. forget charged you sales tax but theyll give you gap insurance for free. but then you see on the deal that tax and insurance are present. I was told to lie to my finance company to inflate my down payment amountI called to talk to the manager and this guy picked up the phone and he yelled at me because I would not talk to him when . I asked to talk to the general manager. The general manager said that they inflate the price of the cars and they inflate the price of the down payment so you can get approved for a loan Im surprised the bill Strack name has not been completely destroyed with the vultures that they have working there. Better Business Bureau Federal Trade Commission the Illinois States Attorneys office this survey have all been made aware of the deceptive practices of this dealership
I was able to get the vehicle I wanted, trade in value for my car, and Vince was excellent in his knowledge of the vehicle I was purchasing. I never felt pressured into buying which was a pleasure compared to other dealerships

They advise us to take the vehicle back to where we had purchase it to get a new one or have them called the dealership we were in so they could do it for them. My husband called Bill Stasek & they told us to bring the vehicle to them, so my husband set up the appointment for Saturday 2/27 at 8 am !! Tell me why the dealership had the audacity to imply that we had damaged the tire, they told my husband we need to do another diagnosis to make sure its NOT damage & they to keep my husband in the waiting area for 4+ hours..WOW talk about BAD customer service... This vehicle was in there lot for IDK how long, this is something that they should of caught.. Its not like they did not know what the issue was. All the way from management, sales rep & the service department did a poor job handling our situation. Of course I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone, I will probably tell them go buy a FORD !!! Up until today I am still waiting for a call from management. Also, with all the money that this dealership is making they could give the place a good face lift, they could offer a little bit more than a lousy cup of coffee..

My car needed service I was having problems with the remote start found it was a faulty remote they ordered me 2 new key fobs and took my car to Nissan to program them remotes for me. They gave me a loaner while they had my car.

Was told one price estimate for the service and charged over $200 more without getting a phone call before doing the work. Manager called to apologize which was appreciated but that additional charge was not something I planned for. Service person I worked with was rude. Will not return to Bill Stasek.
I reserved a vehicle with them through GMs Buy, Click, Drive online ordering system in the morning. They called me at the end of the day and revealed that, oops, its $4500 more than the website says.It turns out that the online price includes every possible incentive any human might qualify for and since I dont qualify for them, my price is a lot higher.Ive never seen another GM dealer do this. Any other dealer Ive looked at lists the available incentives separately or tells you about it when you call. But this dealer just rolls all of those into their dealer price. There isnt even any fine printing warning you that the price includes incentives that not everyone will qualify for.What a crummy bait-and-switch. Pick a dealer who will be honest with their online pricing instead.
We had a great experience purchasing a new vehicle at Stasek Chevy in Wheeling. Our sales rep was Steve, he was very attentive and made sure we walked out of there with exactly what we wanted. Joe and Teddy were great as well. This is definitely not a typical pushy sales dealership. They are all very easy going and great at their jobs. Im completely happy and satisfied with my new purchase. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
It was the easiest car buying process Ive ever done. No pressure to buy, no raising the price of the car at finance time. I actually felt like I was being treated like a normal person & not that oh how cute youre a girl buying a car treatment. I didnt feel stressed, everything was explained wonderfully with the extras I purchased. I left feeling confident & very happy with my purchase. I brought my 2016 Cadillac ATS-V in for transmission service. They figured out what 2-other dealerships struggled to fix. I was told their service department was the best in Chicago suburbs and they lived up to that billing in every aspect of customer service. My service rep, Tom Boyer, was very helpful in communicating with me during the entire process of my car being serviced. When I picked up my car it, I was treated to a spotless hand washing! Last thing of note is this dealership specializes in Corvettes - so during limited time I had to wait in the waiting room was spent roaming the dealership admiring the numerous Vettes (and a few ZL1 Camaros). Highly recommend this dealership.
This is my 10th or 11th car purchase from Bill Stasek Chevrolet. This one I just purchased from our new home in FLORIDA! Kurt has been outstanding arranging all the details and being my feet on the ground as I cannot be there to inspect or even see how the vehicle was configured. Again another home run for Stasek Chevrolet! Cant wait to get my new Express 3500 delivered and out of the snowy north so it can live in warm sunny Florida!

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE WRITERS AT THIS DEALERSHIP ARENatalia & JustinMy wife and i bought a brand new 2021 Traverse Red Line all black with 11 miles on it for 52,000 us dollars...... First we notice there was scratches on the driver front fender transferring to the driver door. Also there was a major chip on the high gloss trim near the steering wheel and the wheel alignment was off. Those issues where fixed but the scratches are still there and there is major swirl marks on the driver door & passenger rear driver side door from when they tried to buff out the scratches. That issue going to be corrected soon.My real issue is today on 5/15/2021 at 8:50 a.m. I had an appointment today for 8:00 a.m. i called in the middle of the week and told Natalia she is one of the most unprofessional service writers i have ever dealt with. i told her what was going on with my truck. We where starting to get water in the rear passenger side tail light. This truck only has 2,500 miles on it now. My sales guy Mike which is the best fyi said its covered and will get fix. I went in today to have the issue looked at NOT fixed at that time because i know that they would have to order the parts. An i was ok with that. What i wasnt ok with was when Natalia who wrote the ticket in the middle of the week tuesday the 11th of June tells me that its a warranty issue which i new and that how she does not agree with chevy when they say they may or may not cover it. But the issue is when she said she would have to have there warranty guy look at it.... i said ok lets have him look at it!!!! She stated oh he is not here during the weekend only monday through friday between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. I said so this was a waste of my time gas and a trip? just for you to tell me the guy who needs to look at is not here. she wrote the ticket and knew the issue that was going on so why schedule appointment for a day when the one who can move this process along is not here.. So now my frustration is setting in, I think her lack of knowledge and the way she was handling the issue was unprofessional and that put a bad taste in my mouth. As i am talking to my wife on the phone telling her whats going on i told my wife they wanna be your friend to get you to buy the car but once you get in the car thats it. After that really its like they dont care anymore. So as im telling my wife whats going on i told my wife she should file a complaint and write a review. I get off the phone Natalia is looking at me says i dont appreciate you making threats!!!!!.... Excuse me one its me and my wife talking and two thats not a threat. Then here come Justin to make things worse by telling me she is a female and dont talk to her like that. Mind you i was never raising my voice nor cursing at all. this guy Justin starts raising his voice at me and i told him to get his manager which he did. I spoke with Richie which was the best ever he helped me out got me what i needed and apologized for Natalia and Justin and stated i dont know why they get like that and take things personal. So hearing that tells me they do this all the time. Richie tells me he will order the parts i need and call me when they are in. At this point i get into my vehicle to leave and Justin waves at me with a smart-aleck look on his face and says BYEEEEE. If i managed them they would have been fired right on the spot. I WOULD NEVER USE USE THEM AS A SERVICE WRITER FOR ANY OF YOUR NEEDS IF YOU GO TO THIS CHEVY BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. Also there was another customer there listening to the whole issue take placed and said thats messed up i thought you worked here not knowing i was a customer and said thats wrong for them to speak to you like that. STAY FAR WAY FROM THESE to Natalia and Justin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After I dropped off for $110 oil change, I got a call from service wanting to charge for DEF fluid which has ALWAYS been included. I was told we dont do that anymore and they wanted to charge $40 extra for DEF! It was also recommended I change my fuel filter which was still at 54%. Ive lost all confidence in Staseks service integrity and absolutely will not be back. I gave 2 stars because they did change the oil and have it done in a timely manner
I called and made an appointment to have an oil change and coating on my 2019 Camaro and showed up later that afternoon to drop off the vehicle. I received a call that it was ready early the next morning and I came in to pick it up in the early evening. The whole experience was very pleasant and took little time out of my day. The staff was very helpful and efficient and I was serviced right away.
Bill Stesak Chevrolet is a great dealership all around from selling new & used cars to their service department. I just had an oil change, new tires, & wheel alignments and I am very happy with my service. The service dept is very professional, they listen, their work is A1, & they communicate well. Tom was very good. He listened to my needs, had the work done& kept me informed every step of the way. Jeremy Stasek runs a very efficient & professional dealership, one you can trust!!!!
My brake vacuum pump went out and they didnt to cover it but after Tom called someone else they where able to accommodate for the power train warranty to cover it. End of the day they fixed it and it was fast.
