Paid Uber $27 to get to Subaru to test drive a vehicle they knew for 2 days I was coming to test drive. I get there at my appointed time and am told the car has a flat tire and I can not test drive it but they have more expensive cars I can test drive that are on another lot. Worst bait and switch, ever. Was out $55 that day for literally nothing. Worst customer service EVER.

1st time at dealership, was very impressive, quick indoor checkin, had a shuttle service take me all the way back to west side of town, since it was going to take a couple of hours to perform repairs, friendly driver, while I waited for the shuttle, available were fresh home made cookies, had one and coffee. Shuttle drove me home, several hours later I had a call that vehicle was done and shuttle was sent, The shuttle picked me up and drove me back to dealership, once at dealership they drove car to me and to my pleasant surprise not only were warranty repairs done they had also washed it! At no charge! Thank You !
In honesty they seem nice but their offers are not I felt they wasted my time for two days and took too long with their so called offers and I went to carmax and had no issues. much more friendly and no hassles no haggle and straight forward
A Subaru prety much sells itself for a multitude of reasons, but the car buying process can be daunting. Jonathan was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He helped me get exactly what I wanted and wasnt pushy or gimmicky. He treated me like a friend and not just a sale. I came in pre-approved through my credit union but the financing team said they were confident they could beat my rate, currently awaiting to hear back so well see! The market is hot for cars right now so I didnt drive away with my new Crosstrek but Im looking forward to picking it up in a few weeks!
Top to bottom everyone I dealt with at Subaru of Wichita helped me out tremendously. They made the entire process easy and convenient. I am from out of state and they delivered the car to my driveway with Fresh Baked Cookies that were still warm! Ok the cookies part was a little made up, but maybe something they could throw in going forward? Finally I have to give it up to my buddy Jimmy who helped get me in the right car and answered all my questions...and I had plenty of questions! My daughter in the Air Force had been told by the dealership that AJ Owens would have everything set up to purchase a Crosstrek before traveling two hours to Wichita. She had also secured pre-approved financing through a federal credit union and auto insurance to purchase the car. Upon our arrival we were informed, The vehicle sold an hour ago. Then they tried to offer anything but what was agreed upon. This absolutely ruined a proud father/daughter day for her first vehicle purchase with her own hard earned money serving our country. What a way to say, Thank you for your service. They knew she was coming from Vance AFB in Enid, OK. They knew she was military. They knew she had worked around all of her military duties to make this happen. I had to arrange my own teaching schedule and family affairs to meet her to come to Wichita for this moment. I had a great time purchasing my car. Victor helped me and answered any questions I had and made sure everything went smoothly. Awesome guy. Car was in good shape though it wasnt Subarus fault but the guys at the Supercardude place didnt really clean up the inside as well and had to get i cleaned up more at the Subaru Dealership, which I appreciated. Superb customer service, though it did take awhile for the purchase to be finalized.

Brought our 2021 Subaru Forester to be repaired after my front tire had a blowout. Repair was fine, however the communication was horrible! My vehicle was finished after 7 days but due to the fact that the service manager would not return our insurance adjusters phone calls we were unable to pick it up until a week later. We paid for the repair and our insurance reimbursed us because they didnt have the information needed to submit payment! 7 extra days holding our vehicle was ridiculous! Returned phone calls would have corrected everything! We needed our vehicle!

I drove 4 hours to buy a used 2017 suv from this dealership and the folks at Subaru of Wichita made my experience wonderful. I started with Aj over the phone, meet Emily in person and did finance with Cole. All three were super nice and easy to work with. No high pressure, gave me an awesome deal on my trade in. Emily greeted us at my car with umbrellas since it was raining, moved all my stuff from the old car to the new one for me. Over the top great customer service. I would absolutely buy a car from this dealership again. Also got a vehicle that qualified for the free lifetime power train warranty - how awesome! I would rate my overall experience with Subaru of Wichita as OK at best. The sales people were initially nice but MIA after the sale. I would recommend Justin as a sales person only if you want a sales person that makes promises but doesnt keep them, and never returns your calls. He still owes me some floor mats. I bought a used 2020 KIA from them but kind of regret my purchase. After all the fees and tricky warrenty additions, I am paying more than I would be had I just bought new. It seemed like a good deal at the time, one owner, barely over 2,000 miles, good condition. However, it had an odd smell and after a few days of having it I realize it had been smoked in!! The car had other issues that Subaru agreed to fix. So they tried to address the smoking smell as well. Id say their most redeeming quality is their service department. Namely Michelle, she is very nice and tried so hard to help me with the smoke smell. Sadly though the essence of smoke is still there and theres probably no way to ever get rid of it. So at the end of the day I am paying a new car price, for a used car that has been smoked in. :(
(UPDATE)After many phone calls, Subaru finally decided to reimburse me for these 2 tires. Unfortunately they still never gave me a report on the vehicle after I requested it. I was told that another family had purchased the car before me and put a few thousand miles on the vehicle before returning the car due to financial reason. They said they didnβt see a reason to re inspect the car after the family returned the vehicle to Subaru. Suabru also said that this showed up on the VIN but it was only in their system. So basically they told me that after a few thousand miles the family had to repair 3 tires and it never got re-inspected before re-selling the vehicle. Yea right! It had two sidewall repairs and one in the middle of the tire with a rope plug. Iβm not sure if this story is true or not and I wish they wouldnβt have told me this information. It seems to me like they are trying to make an excuse for not catching the faulty tires in the first place.I purchased a used 2020 Forester fromSubaru in April. At first I was very pleased with the vehicle and the purchasing experience. A couple of weeks later I noticed the back tire was leaking so I thought I might have hit a nail and went to get it replaced. I found out that the tire had been improperly repair and was sold to us that way without it being on any type of vehicle report. I talked to a receptionist and no one ever got back with me. A couple of months later and I got the rest of the tires replaced. We found another tire was patched on the side wall. Very disappointed.
Was lied to from the very beginning of this all bad deal I had I was pretty much pushed into a deal I didnt want from the beginning just to find out the car had a lot of problems they lied straight to my face about ..long story short they was shady I gave the car back went to grace auto off of oliver and I love my car and deal I got from them whom really helps people rebuild their credit!!!!;
I bought a car from Jimmy, a great guy. I had buyers remorse after getting an all electric e Golf. They give you 72 hours to bring it back and couldnt have been nicer about me returning the car. It was very simple and cost me nothing. I was out the door in minutes.
Their golden rule is to treat others as you would want to be treated. I wouldnt offer somebody an amount of money for their trade and two weeks later lower my offer a thousand dollars. You should really remove that sign.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SUBARU OF WICHITA.The Customer Service at Subaru of Wichita is absolutely terrible. As a customer you expect to be able to have questions answered and answered honestly at that. Which was not the case for me. I finally after weeks of dissapointment took my business to McCarthy Subaru in Lawrence where I was taken care of with some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. It is worth the drive if you like being treated with any sort of customer service.

My experience here was horrible. After being given the run around for three days, I walked out. Carmax across the highway had the same model car with more options, less miles, and cheaper price. I was in and out in under 3 hours.
They take care of you and live up to their commitments. Over the years I have had reasonable discussions with both their sales personal and their service personal. I have found their service personal to fix what is wrong and make recommendations for future considerations rather than explaining all need to be done at this service. Plus I like their video overview with the mechanic working on my car.
I appreciated the efforts they went through to meet my needs without being pushy.

When I initially started looking at new cars, I was extremely put off by the start/stop feature of the cars on the market. So, I called Subaru of Wichita to inquire about how the Subaru addresses the ability to disable the start/stop. I first connected with Bri Dieker by phone. She was a sweet smile on the line, we hit it off immediately ! When I returned to Wichita, I came into the Subaru dealership to find her. Next day, My husband and I test drove the Outback. That was fun, and we liked it real well. We purchased that very same, beautiful Metallic Pearl White car. Appreciated the turbo, too. The sales staff are quite a team! They never sent my Gas card. I had that car in for new tires. I had to pay for 2 of them even tho they sold it to me with bad tires,2nd week, needed to be aligned and they found an oil leak. Took it back a few weeks later for an oil leak. They had to replace the seals. They aIso had to have an O2,sensor replaced. Cadillac converter replaced. I had to drive from Winfield Kansas. They promised to send a gas card I havent seen it yet. This happened last year. I was sick with covid and trusted them to make sure all was good with the car. So yes I give them, a 2 rating. I also had to tell one of the workers there. That it clearly showed it was all for the money cause none of the people who helped even acknowledge me or asked how things were going. But I bought 2 vehicles from Suzki and they always ask me and acknowledged me. Not happy with this companys Person to person treatment.

The staff was excellent, friendly and went beyond and above. The cars felt safe, the dealership was clean, and you dont feel hassled like other places. Parts department is amazing, great to work with and super helpful. Ive worked with the sales department very little as I already had my Subaru. However, when I was considering trading my car for a newer WRX/STI there was no pressure and offered me a great offer on my current car. The service department overall is pretty good and they could tell I was very meticulous with my car. They worked with me on my schedule and offered me a courtesy car when my appointment time slipped. As Im very meticulous with anything done on my car I got it home and put it on jack stands to clean under it and inspect the work. My biggest gripe was I suspect my transmission plug was over tightened as it took a breaker bar to break free. I know my lug nuts were way over as it took a breaker bar and a healthy amount of force to break them free. Im hoping everything I cant get to or see was done correctly and as so far the car is running good so Im hopeful. As I said Im very meticulous with my cars so Im probably going over board but they have specs for a reason so I was a little upset over the overtightened parts.

Get it and get out, youll receive generic customers service feeling ok about your purchase.If you are looking for something specific and they have to find it for you... GOOD LUCK! Theyll take your deposit as part of your down payment, treat you like theyve sold you the car since they are the ONLY Subaru dealership in town, and not contact you regarding the car you ordered.We wanted a WRX STI, so naturally yes it had to be found because my husband wanted a specific color. Once they found it, it took them over a day to send him the specifics on the car. We had to contact them each and every time to get an update on the car and where it was which was a waste of time because we were told its within the country... Which is an accurate yet poor customer service answer considering they knew where the car was. There were many set backs getting the car to the dealership after we were given solid dates of when the car would be at the dealership.We requested to speak with the manager and the GM regarding the matter and no one called us back after voice-mails had been left. Being fed up with this whole experience we reached out to the Subaru Dealership of Lawrence and they had the STI he wanted delivered in two days. TWO DAYS!We went to get our deposit back from the Subaru of Wichita that went towards the down payment (which we still had not heard back after giving them an opportunity to make things right before going to Lawrence), only to have a yelling match with the GM in front of other clients and employees stating that it was nonrefundable but yet there was no signed documentation stating that it was nonrefundable. The GM made many childish and unprofessional remarks. The Subaru of Lawrence offered to give us the amount of our deposit back if the Wichita office would not.The GM of Wichita called later to state he felt bad for the interaction that took place. He said he expected too much out of us as customers. He did give us our money back. Im thankful he at least did that.I feel completely bad for our salesman Johnathan because he was great but completely let down by his management team who lost him our business.We will make the 2hr drive to Lawrence because they made us feel like part of the Subaru family and wanted our business. They didnt take our money and felt like they had us in the bag because there arent any other options in Wichita. There are always other options! Go somewhere you are respected.

They went way beyond what they needed to as they helped save over $3,000 a year in auto & home owner insurance!!! What other car dealership will do that? None that I have ever been in!!! Came for a a promotion that gave you a $100 gift card. I informed my sister to come and take advantage of the promotion. I received mine but, when my sister came for her appointment she was denied since we have the last name . We live in separate houses holds . When we tried to explain this they told us it is what it is and theres nothing to talk about . I asked for the the small print on the promotion and they told me there isnt any and pretty much be happy with what you got.
I went in today to trade in my car. My cousin told me about a promotion they were having. That helped me decide to go in today. He made an appointment for 10 and I made mine for 1030. Because we both have the same last name I could not use the promotion. We do not live in the same house!! The only reason I went is because of word of mouth. I will never buy a car from this dealership or tell anyone else to buy from this place. They were very rude!!!!

Joe did a fantastic job helping us find our new Forester. It really seems like he puts the customer first and he isnt just concerned about making a sale. He took time with us, patiently answered all our questions over the course of a few days, and made us feel like we mattered.Brie also did great at finishing up the sale for us, even helping keep an eye on our toddler in the parking lot while we switched our carseat over. She just seemed genuinely excited for us and really made the whole process a pleasure.Sam in finance did a great job, again of making us feel like human beings who arent just another number. He took time to explain things to us, didnt make us feel pressured to buy extras we didnt need, and made the drudgery of all that paperwork a lot less hard, and maybe even a little fun.As for the dealership itself, they should be more honest in their advertising. When they say 5 years complimentary maintenance, or no payments until 2021, or 0% for 72 months, they dont really mean it. Thats only if you buy the car with NO discounts at sticker price, which only a fool would do. Even just a tiny disclaimer would have been helpful. Just feels sleazy. Their employees deserve to not have unhappy customers because of the owners sneaky advertising. They almost lost our business, but the great employees won us back.
Josh and the Subaru team takes excellent care and explains everything that needs to be done. They have it all written down with the price, so nothing is surprising when the bill is due. They do a video showing you what they are seeing as they are servicing your vehicle. It is informative and lets you see what you often dont get to see. I am very pleased with their attention to detail and the pride they take in their customer service.
We purchased a used Audi and had remote start installed. It messed with our keyless entry and now the remote start doesnt work. Audi says that you should never install any remote start and it will void the warranty and make the battery go bad. I know they are a Subaru dealer but if this is true to all Audis why are they selling them and donβt know this? I called for a manager and he was off work and was told they would call me and no one ever did. I guess the lesson is donβt buy a brand that the dealer knows nothing about. I would not recommend buying any high end cars from them Subarus only.
Worst experience ever. I had a warranty job done for my engine failing and the engine has been replaced 2 times. The engine knocks and it hasnβt even been due for an oil change yet. They forgot to put my exhaust back together, gave my car back with low tire pressure. Telling me I need a new clutch when it we replaced recently? Quite ridiculous. I do not recommend maintenance at this dealership.

The salesman, Asa, came to me just to check if I was comfortable, while I was having my Forrester serviced. I told him that we have had interest in getting a new Outback or Forrester since we have high miles on our Forrester.With my permission he began to see what vehicles were available.He asked what price range works for us, and what did we want on the car.While I waited in the service area my car was finished but Asa continued to check on me and give me updates.I was given a couple of proposals, and the second option would work for us. At no time were we pressured. In fact, I was invited to look at vehicles, then pick one out and allowed to drive it home.We have been able to drive the Outback, while the staff works on a deal. Great care and service, with patience and care.

This is by far the best experience Ive ever had with a car dealership. Emilee is super knowledgeable about the products and while keeping my best interest top priority. No shady business here. She makes friends not sales. If you truly want a wow experience. If you truly want to be made to feel important. I even invited her to spend the holidays with our family. Shes that good,actually close to great at her career. Please dont hesitate to ask for her expertise in her chosen field. Absolutely no pressure sales. Emily was super knowledgeable and the managers were available to help us every step of the way. They have a great selection and had exactly what I wanted. I am impressed that most of the staff owns a Subaru which says a lot about the brand. We also didnβt have to wait around all day for financing. While there is lot to learn, I left the lot knowing how to use the fundamental features. This is by far my favorite dealership I have ever done business with.
I always get my Forester serviced at Subaru of Wichita and consistently have such great customer service and care. Josh has helped me twice now and Iβll continue to go to him. He is honest about the service I need and takes the time to make sure I understand too. I am always in and out quickly for my appointments. Iβve had great service at all Subaru dealers I have gone to through the years but Subaru of Wichita still tops the list of great providers.
They have serviced my outback from day one and have taken care of everything I have asked for..No complaints.

Our experience buying a car was not bad overall; although, we never received car mats promised by the salesperson, car was not full of gas, and detailing was so-so. However, the whole experience was overshadowed by Subaruβs apparent lack of concern over the Covid pandemic. Numerous customers were not wearing masks, even more staff members were not wearing them as well, and there was not a single hand sanitizer bottle in sight. As a designated βhigh riskβ individual, I was sick with worry about getting ill during my time there, which seemed to span forever. It just felt inconsiderate as a business to not think about the health of their customers or even potential customers. Subaru needs to do better. At this moment I can not recommend anyone entering this business due to the public health threat.
Subaru of Wichita Made it really easy and educational in helping me make the right choice on which Subaru to purchase. I spent many years wanting a Subaru and with all the great products they offer I went with the Forster for convenience and my family. I hope to own this car for life. Brice one of their staff, was straight forward and a great help. He made the whole process quick and simple. So I give a big thank you to all the staff for my first great experience with Subaru of Wichita.
What a different experience! Bree never pressured us at any time, spent over and hour finding us trucks and test driving them. Most dealerships want to sell you the first car you look at, and frankly, I never knew there was a better way.We will be back, and we will be sure to give them a shot for our future business!
Subaru team is amazing! They contacted me on a regular to follow up and see what they could do to help me get the new and affordable car that I so desperately needed. Everyone there was so great in working together in finding me the RIGHT ONE and going what seemed to me above and beyond! They literally walked through the entire process with me and gave me the reassurance I needed and made me feel comfortable with it being my first time purchasing a vehicle on my own. We were having difficulty with our Outback as we were traveling from Kansas City area to Oklahoma. Dan and Caleb gave us wonderful service, fitting us in at the end of the day. When the decision was made to leave the car for maintenance, Dan helped us get over to the car rental place next door to rent a car; he even helped carry our luggage over! Caleb communicated with us right away the next morning giving us options and prices. The car is going to be ready for pick up us as we drive back home. Couldnβt have had a better experience.

Absolute joke. They sold me a car with a bucket list of problems. They told me the check engine light was due to a gas cap, I did a full scale check of the vehicle and there is over 6 grand worth of repairs needed (I still owe over 5k on the vehicle.). This place is full of Coked out snakes that donβt care about their customer, only a sale. I know my car is used, but there is absolutely no way they didnβt know about all these problems prior to selling this to me. Lesson learned from me, take note ladies and gentlemen, shop elsewhere
