There’s one lady with long brown hair that answers the front that is legit the only nice person with any kind of manners. The old lady with the blonde hair needs a reality check. Don’t get me started of the guy I had to deal with. Some of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. I’m not sure they’ve ever had to learn what customer service is because it doesn’t exist here in the slightest bit.

I just called PA with a general question, not even as a customer, and he gave me plenty of time with plenty of detail about my situation and answered my question without hesitation. When I am ever in need of any equipment or installation, I will be sure to look up PA first! Thank you for your time and professionalism!!!

In response to Kaisha Berks review, first clarification is that she is a Smart Start client. We have a policy where you check in at the front counter first. She pulled to the back of the parking lot to get her monthly service and called instead. The nice lady with the brown hair advised that there is a sign on our back door to check in at the front counter first. Kaisha replied that the door was open. She didnt see any sign. She comes here every month and the door is usually closed. So this old lady went back to take care of her and advised that she needed to check in at the front because no one monitored the back door to know when clients arrived. Also, if you pay in cash, you have to pay first. She was too lazy to follow procedure and acted like she deserved preferential treatment. We have over 300 smart start clients. Almost all of them follow protocol. Evidently Kaisha thinks she doesnt have too. Maybe she needs to learn some courtesy and she would be treated with better customer service.

In relation to SMART Start services, I was on a limited time window to go in and get a calibration done. When I first had the unit installed, they stated and listed out that they were available from 0830am to 1130am on Fridays to complete this short task. I arrived at 1110am and went to check in, but the front desk informed me that the technician had already left for lunch. This location does not offer any times to perform calibration outside of a normal M-F workhour and none on the weekends either, so this was very frustrating as from 1100-1130 was my only available time that day within their stated schedule. If their staff is not available during their specified times, then they need to change their schedule, or stick to it precisely as stated. I wasted 40 minutes (20 to, 20 back) to be told to wait til after the lunch hour was completed, which I do not have time for. They also did not provide the initial schedule of when they do the calibrations when I first had the unit installed. I showed up during the last hour of their business on the first calibration, and they stated they stopped doing them at 3:30pm. The only reason I am giving two stars is due to the fact that their install staff worked diligently to get the unit installed prior to these events.

They charged me for a repair on my wiring and said the issue was resolved. The issue was back less than 3 months later. They didnt seem to care that their job was poorly done. She just went through her script of how much the next visit will cost. When asked what theyll do differently she said she didnt know. It is not ethical to continue charging a person for a job you cannot do correctly. Take your car elsewhere and let these people swindle someone else.

They got me into the shop fast and early in the morning which was great. I needed a new double din stereo installed. I already went ahead and took the old radio out and had the dashboard taken apart. They took too long in my opinion. Almost 3hrs. The stereo was not working as it should. I couldnt access my setting or any other features, due to manufacturers safety. I had ordered a bypass module to get around that. They said they didnt know what else to do. I dont normally work on that brand of stereo was his excuse, and told me to figure it out myself. He also said that I ordered the wrong product. I ordered specifically for my vehicle and stereo.Not impressed. Theyre service was almost more than what I bought my stereo for. I went to these professionals to get the job done fast and right the first time. They couldve offered to trouble shoot at least. Not recommended.

Very pleased with the hard work these professionals have offered. I had the head-unit in my vehicle replaced as well as a subwoofer and a Viper remote-start system installed. They did a great job at making sure everything worked the way I wanted, and with minimal to no damage or compromises made in the process. I strongly recommend this business!

Good folks. Guys in back know thier stuff however when you make an appointment for a new installation on an interlock device its like a doctors office... Never ever on time. So plan around being late if your doing it during lunch.

Guy knew what he was doing and talking about, but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE compared to the SAME thing in Amazon. But I needed convenience and they were open. For the mounts and stereo (touch screen Kenwood) came to about $300. I did the installation myself

For those looking for a SmartStart place do not go here. The gentleman who deals with you is very rude. Every time I have had to take my car in to get the interlock read he has treated me like I am garbage. He is extremely judgmental and short with you. If there are problems with the interlock system he does not try to help you, he simply says that you need to call SmartStart but while youre doing that you need to go a head and pay him.

Yikes, a quick look at the other Google Reviews for Precision Audion assured me I was not overthinking how rude the reception/phone staff member is. No point in naming him, but I assume hes family of the owner(s) which is why he hasnt been fired. Its a shame, because if someone who could muster a pretend smile and bother to listen to a customer for more than 4 seconds at a time was running the phones and the front of the store, the rest of the experience would probably be much better. I came with a warranty issue from a Carmax car - unfortunately Carmax would only send me to Precision Audio, since they have some sort of deal with them. I made my appointment a week in advance, provided a good description of the problem including error code (OEM cd changer was broken), and advised that I would be waiting on my vehicle. I got there for the appointment and was told to check back tomorrow because the guy to work on my car wasnt available until end of day. I left immediately and called CarMax, asking them to help me get my problem taken care of. Eventually, THREE TRIPS later, including several days of driving around with my stereo pulled out so they could work on it, everything is in working order. There are no scratches on my dash and the interior wasnt dirtied up, which I was worried about since it had been snowing. So the work did get done, and it was done well, but it took 5 hours total of me waiting in the lobby, and a total of 4 round trips to the shop, including the first time when they blew off my appointment. Thats pretty unacceptable, considering they could have replaced the entire unit with another OEM VW unit for $150 shipped, and only had an hour of remove/install time. Why they didnt do that, I have no idea, but since their staff didnt want to talk to me about options, I let them do their thing and will go somewhere else to get it done the way I want. I also encouraged them to Google the specific issue with head unit, but that was responded to with attitude, like it was absurd that a customer suggest they do research. I was in to get my stereo repaired under a warranty claim though, so I guess they thought they could just ignore whatever I wanted, despite the fact that I said I would pay for anything not covered. Thanks for making it clear you were only interested in doing the bare minimum.During the two times I waited in the lobby (for about 2 hours each time) I heard staff talking about customers disrespectfully both times, right in front of me. I also witnessed once incident of an angry customer coming in and being immediately agitated by the front desk guy, who failed to even pretend to care about the customers problem or calm her down. Couple those things with the TV blasting Fox News, and it was terrible. I can imagine they get some really dumb customer problems, given the fact that many of the products they install require the customer to read a piece of paper and memorize a couple of commands, which is a lot to ask of many Kansans. But its like they have no concept of customer service or how to make people happy.Protip to Precision Audio: if your front desk guy is too rude to work at McDonalds, then you have a problem with the face of your business. Fix that, and treat your customers time with a little more respect, and youd be in much better shape.
