Excellent experience here! Had my daughters laptop fixed within a day and for less than $50 when Ribbit quoted us at $200 minimum. Great customer service, too!

They are so helpful and knowledgeable! My parents stood in line at best buy, only to be told they could not check a power cord without a reservation!! They tried PC Repair, they checked the power cord in minutes and did not charge! Highly recommend this family business to everyone!

I took my iPod in to be repaired and they said they could probably fix it and theyd call me in a couple of days. Over a month later I went in to check on it and the guy there said someone would call me. Later. that day I received voicemail saying that they couldnt get parts for my particular model. (NOTE: A simple search showed enough available parts to build an iPod like mine from scratch.)I went back in the pick it up. When Id dropped it off, the back had been taken off of the front allowing access to the insides. When I picked it up, the back had been replaced. The guy there said he didnt want to take it back off for fear of messing it up. When I took it home and opened it myself, I realized that they were probably more afraid of me finding out how badly theyd messed my iPod up on the inside. Some of the internal ribbon cables had been severed, and now Ill have to get the pause switch/headphone jack assembly replaced as well as the initial problem.Additionally, nobody in there was wearing a mask. Id recommend avoiding the place like the plague.

Horrible customer service. I have NO clue how they get ANY business. They laughed in my face when they didnt fix something right, and I asked them to fix it. After having the computer for SEVERAL days and charging me a pretty penny for it. Then asked me if he wanted to show me how to do it..instead of doing it himself, which I paid him to do. And again kept laughing at me. I was not irate, or rude.. I just wanted my computer back and for it to be right. Will never go again. I also would give them negative stars if possible. I called the owner and he wont answer or call me back.

I took my MacBook in for an issue. The issue I came in for was not with my Mac but they told me that my batteries needed replaced. They replaced the batteries and now my Mac loses all battery life after 45 minutes of use. After numerous calls they said that they ordered a new battery but they have never reached out to say they received it and that they would fix my machine. Every time I call, I have to go through the whole thing from the beginning.

I had the pleasure to use PC Repair last week. I said pleasure because of their OUTSTANDING customer service they provided! The part I was needing wasnt in stock, so they went and got one and then DELIVERED it to my home! Not only was it delivered but they asked if they could go ahead and install it for me....all this for NO extra charge! Its a LOCAL family business and provides customer service beyond my imagination! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I might also mention that the video card was VERY reasonable. Being new to Wichita, Im so thankful a friend recommended PC Repair to me!

It took over two months to solve an issue I had with data transfer. Every step of the way, various staff members gave me all kinds of different explanations for my problem, and it was clear that none of the employees communicated with each other about my account. On each of my six (six!) trips to the store, I had I re-explain the problem and what seemingly simple service I needed. And it took six trips because they kept messing it up. At one point, they tried to charge me double the amount that they had quoted me earlier, and held my data hostage when I balked at the price change. I threatened to call a lawyer and the Better Business Bureau, and actually did phone BBB from the store — but of course, when threatened with legal action, they returned my data right away at no additional charge. Long story short, the father and son who own the company are not competent computer repair technicians, especially when it comes to Macs, and they’re even worse businessmen. In the end (two months later), they did finally complete the transfer of all my data, but the hassle and number of visits in order to get this fixed were completely unnecessary, and the attempt to squeeze more money out of me was insulting. I will definitely not be going back in the future.

Amazing customer service and quick resolution. I bought a new laptop and unfortunately ran into issues when the Microsoft bitlocker turned off after a windows update. I couldn’t retrieve the bitlocker password from Microsoft and needed to reset my laptop to factory settings. HP and other providers wanted $$$$ and wait times were not ideal.I walked into PC Repair on a Thursday and my laptop was back to me on Friday!They are the ideal solution for the “bitlocker” issue. Keep in mind, if you need your PC or laptop restored because you don’t have your bitlocker password, none of the data stored on your laptop can be retrieved.I learned after the issue that “Bitlocker” is activated when you sign into a new PC or Laptop using your Microsoft ID. To prevent a “locked out” issue just be sure to watch Microsoft’s bitlocker activation videos on YouTube. They explain how to obtain the bitlocker password BEFORE locking your computer, so you always have it moving forward!

Its been over a year sense we used them to restore a Laptop that had a dead hard drive only a few hours past and they called with good news hard drive was replaced and all of my data was recovered and installed on new solid state drive Great Service and very happy with results

Ouch!!!! It costs you $25 to get them to quote you a higher price than anybody else in town. They could make a fortune never fixing anything. Whatever happened to honest service and fair pricing? That high rent out on Tyler must have gone to their heads.

PC repair replaced the broken screen on smart phone --$130.00--it did not take one month to have problems--the face lifted off phone -- they wanted to charge for repair--two months later the phone pad works intermittently -- no warranty & they suggested replacing the screen again.At the same time of the smart phone problem childrens laptop cratered & I noticed a used one in the store for a reasonable price --took child to store to have them explain the gaming she needed laptop for & was told this laptop was just the perfect fix for her --bought it --within a couple of weeks laptop was freezing up during gaming & we went back--was told by store personal that laptop is just a cheap model & would never be sold for gaming--what a bunch of users.

My boyfriend and I went in to this computer store looking for parts for our build and left with only a case because they didn’t have anything. Not really their fault but the guy tried to tell me the graphics card I was looking for was intel when it isn’t. He spoke to me like I was stupid, my father raised me building computers and I know the difference between intel and amd. I tried to explain that we were happy with the AMD graphics card we picked as we are doing an AMD build. He continued to insist that I was wrong and he was right. I wasn’t gonna argue with him so I paid for the case and left. I ended up going to another store that had most of the parts I needed, and I didn’t leave feeling stupid and upset from it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE. Very upset about the experience and will not be going back ever again!

I wish I could give them zero stars! This is by far the most unprofessional place I have ever been. I originally took my brand new laptop to the them to have information transferred from my old one. I barely used the computer and I immediately started having problems with it so I took it back. I am assuming they are the ones who created the problem since it worked just fine before I ever took it to them. When I took it back to them they never gave me a price, just said theyd fix it. When it was ready to pick up, they charged me a ridiculous amount to fix a problem they created. The man was so rude to me and was trying to blame me for the computer problem. Again, the computer worked fine until I brought it into them the first time. The worst part is that I finally just paid so I could have my computer back, but when I got home, I found out they hadnt even fixed the problem. I decided to just take it to another computer repair store and they fixed it within 20 minutes.Anyone thinking about taking your computer here, think again! It was such a headache especially since they never actually fixed my computer.

PC Repair has helped out us a lot. My son was having problems with his laptop and they fixed it quickly, guaranteed it and then repaired it for free when he had another issue. Today they helped us out again when my daughter was having problems with her laptop and they talked her through the problems while she was at KU trying to study for finals.

Outstanding customer service! My hp desktop quit on a sat morning, took it in when they opened at 10 and picked it up fixed at 11:30.

My laptop was starting to mess up pretty bad, to the point where it was hard to finish school work. I called up there and they offered to come out, since I was unable to leave the house at the moment. They acted pretty proffesional and fixed the probelm pretty quickly. My laptop works pretty great now. Loved the fact they came to my place to help me and didnt charge me an arm and leg to do so. For now on I will go here for all my electronic needs.

This shop is unprofessional we took our computer in for diagnostics, once we got it back everything was unplugged and parts were switched out. Never go to this shop to buy or get anything fixed
