I went there because my glasses were damaged. They were pretty much toast. They werent able to do much for me as I didnt have insurance on them. I left pretty disappointed. Today a new pair showed up in the mail!Jacqueline felt so bad for me that she ordered me a new pair.I couldnt be happier, they have earned my business for life!Thanks again Jacqueline!

My lenses were messed up by the machine on the first pair and the second pair were wrong so Im going to have to wait 2 more weeks. No one apologized for the extreme inconvenience or showed any concern even though I was visibly upset. I spent $770! Thats allot of money to me. I expected more. Lesson learned. Wont make that mistake again for sure! The whole experience from start to finish has been terrible

Very helpful - Only issue was mine...that I didnt ask enough questions on the 2 for 1 - the one is not free if you want the non-glare, different options on lenses. But overall - good price for 2 pairs - but we really didnt need the second pair. But that is completely on me - I will definitely go back. Great customer service and variety of lenses to pick from! Especially for my teenagers.

The people are nice. It’s a distraction to deter you from realizing that they don’t apply any of the features you pay for when you spend hundreds on your glasses. No blue light filter, no anti-reflective coating. Shoot, I bet the lens isn’t even the material I paid for.I will never be back here. Specs, Lens Crafters, Greene, Target Optical, even Walmart before this place again.

I bought glasses here1 yearAnd 12 days ago AndJust now made it back to warranty frames and the scratch lenses do to The Covid and living 85 miles away wouldnt warranty do to 12 days out of warranty and wanted to charge me 159$ i was promptly called by jason the manager and he fixed me up. Go in the morning and get your glasses that afternoon. I love it. Staff is very friendly and the young woman who helped me I forget her name was awesome. She saw my previous glasses and didnt try and upsell me things I didnt want and upsold me on things I did want. Great experience would recomend.

New gal that helped me was great! Asked questions when she wasnt sure how to do something rather than guess. Gal that helped me in/took temp was very nice, as was the trainer that helped my new gal. Unfortunately I dropped them down 2 stars because I was the last customer in the store & the person that appeared to be the manager led a conversation with the rest of the staff, complaining about a customer that held them well after closing time. I was here 2.5 hours before their normal close, which was not published. Dont complain about customers in front of a customer, especially if the situation doesnt speak to the current customer. :/

I visited eyeglass world on Labor Day weekend three times first time for glasses then a second time to get designers instead then the third time my eye doctor got the prescription wrong so I had to go back and get the right prescription lens on my glasses, to make a long story short eyeglass world worked with me and made everything just awesome even though nothing was their fault if I could give them more than five stars I would, thank you eyeglass world staff.

I had a lovely lady help me at the start which is why I am not rating a 1 but she ended up helping another customer which is understandable. I ended up being assisted by a man who was talking rather loudly about someone’s addiction to prescription medication. Something about someone having an accident and then being hooked on those meds. See? Already know too much about this situation that he was talking on and on about. Personal conversations are understandable in a work environment, however that was way too much information for the entire store to hear. Unfortunately this man was the only rep available when I needed help and he was not very helpful. He asked right off the bat, “I can’t remember did you say you were paying with insurance or not?”, we never once had that conversation. I replied, “insurance”. He then asked who was my insurance to which I mistakenly replied the name of my health insurance. He said no that’s your health. To which I apologized and remembered they were different (because I made the same mistake the last time I went to purchase glasses from you all). Last time the lady who helped me was very helpful and offered to look it up via my employer. And so I made that suggestion. I told him my employer to which he looked at me blankly and said he’d never heard of them. He was not helpful whatsoever and sat there not making any effort to help me as I searched my email for the insurance name. He looked at my insurance card and told me that from the looks of my card my insurance wasn’t going to cover the cost of the glasses. That’s in correct, they do, which I told him. He then named off a few insurance companies but that was the most he wanted to help. I then mentioned that the last rep who helped me was able to find it for me. Which he then thought of pulling me up and finding my insurance, I’m sure from my profile. I finally gave him my prescription card which was expired and he told me he was unable to use an expired prescription (which is understandable) and told me his hands were tied. He seemed as if he was glad to get out of helping me. He was very rude and the whole interaction was very lazy as if he did not want to do any work. Every excuse felt like him trying to shoo me away. It was a very different interaction from the woman who took my temperature and the woman who helped me browse sunglasses. In my opinion, there’s some customer service training to be had with this particular employee. I may have wanted to come back several times to purchase other lenses with/without my insurance. Now? I’m not so sure.

Jackie was very composed even though they were short handed and busy. She gets 5 stars! Unfortunately it has been over 2 weeks and still waiting for my glasses to be mailed to me! Am 3 hrs away so its not like I can drop in and check. Phone calls have not gotten me anywhere. Put on hold and I dont have the time to sit and wait.Glasses arrived. Problem in lab. Adjusted my rating.. Still waiting on refund.

I bought two pairs of glasses from Eyeglass World. One pair of sunglasses work great, the pair of trifocals I use for reading are terrible. Ive gone back to them four times to fix, the optomitrist once. The optomistist says the glasses are too strong for the prescription, they say its mechanically fine.I have to figure out a good distance and the way to hold my head to keep from seeing double. Theyve remade the glasses once. The prices are also suspect. They will increase with different additives to the lenses once you select frames.

As usual, its never difficult to be helped when getting a pair of glasses at this branch of Eyeglass World!Madison was very accommodating and helpful from letting me pick my desired pair up, helping with insurance matters and until the very end through checkout. It was stress-free & I was even able to pick up it up after 2 hours!I definitely recommend Eyeglass World by Kellogg for a hassle-free and welcoming experience!

Great selection of glasses for kids, customer service and hours! As a working mom it’s hard to find a place in town that open past 5pm for some reason, but eyeglass world has great hours and even open on Sundays.Super convenient and low hassle. We had to purchase glasses without insurance once due to timing and were able to get 2 pair for a great price.

Amazing service and very friendly staff. I saw some reviews complaining that the sales staff hovers, but its amazing how far a little effort on the buyers part can go. Mind if I have some space to roam? Ill find you when Im done was all I had to say .They were a day late in making my glasses, but that actually ended up working out better for me, so Im not going to hold that against them .

The only thing I can say about this place is that it is not as they say it is. If you go here I doubt you will leave here paying the price advertised. If I were you, I would check out other options first and then come here to see if you are getting a good deal. I would check out Payless Optical and Americas Best Optical first. Then you can see who really has the good deal.

I love the prices, the service, the staff, there efficiency, the waranties & the guarentees. All of these things are far better than anywhere else that I have purchased eye glasses or contact lens from.The wait is never very long. If you are there for a quick question, adjustment, or problem, then there is usually no wait at all. More over the staff is always glad to see you, even if you are coming with a complaint. They seem to make everything right. When choosing and placing an order, they are willing to explain everything and your choice differences. They always handle your insurance easily and keep your file in the computer through the years.

Excellent experience both times I used them. First time, the prescription I had from a doctor was incorrect. They remade the glasses at no charge.Even though it was not their fault. I used to be a certified Optician and ran an optical shop - long ago. They do a good job. Not as cheap as I was hoping in cost, but I love my glasses, and having that second pair has been a real life-saver for me!! This time I got some really stunning designer frames, and they will be good for just lenses the next time or two. The insurance was worth it! I have used mine, and when you need it you are really glad you did it.

Was not impressed. I walked in the door and decided to look around since I was not greeted. I literally walked around the store trying on different frames in different price ranges. Once I was fully around the store, I wanted to try some oakley frames that were in a locked case. Luckily the Dr was done consoling one of the many customers so he let me try them on. Once I was done he locked the case and ran off to help some one else. I looked around and there were 2 floor associates, and the Dr running the floor..Mostly it was the Dr.I visited on a Sunday which I would assume is a Day when the new ad comes out. The 2 sales associates were more concerned with putting up new sale banners and changing signage. The display cases looked like crap and their was signage every where...Typically I would think most retail places have that set before the store would even open that day.I chose to leave cause I didnt want to waste any more of my day off. Customer service is 2 star at best. Merchandising is 1 star at best. That feeling that makes me want to return for future business..............sorry, got nothing for that

There customer service is outstanding. We have used the East Wichita location for several years for all of our Eyeglass needs for the whole family. Recently I was informed by my son that he had a oral and visual report due soon. His topic was on NFL player Barry Sanders. When the manager Jason Tackett heard about this he volunteered to help out. He went above and beyond by letting my son borrow his Barry Sanders football jersey to use as his visual presentation of his report.

We have had nothing but good luck with Eyeglass World. I have purchased not only my glasses but also for 2 of my children. The $25.00 insurance that WAS NOT forced on my bill but was chosen by me was a great option. My daughter started wearing glasses when she was 4 so being rough on them was a given. If they broke, they fixed them OR let her pick out another pair that were the same price for $0.00. Thats what the insurance does for you. OR, if she just didnt like the way they fit or hurt her ears, they replaced them for free with another pair of the same price. My childrens school is around the corner and when my sons glasses lost a screw, they took them to Eyeglass World not knowing that we even went there and they fixed them for free. The staff is great to work with. I highly recommend them. Its a no brainer. I have referred family and friends there as well.

What can I say, I wasnt able to do business with this particular store. I brought in my prescription and my insurance and basically, I was discouraged from even proceeding after they found out what my insurance would cover. I was told If you still want to pick out a frame we can sit down and go over some options. If I still want to? I felt kind of insulted, honestly. Sit down...and go over options? I just need something to enable me to see a little more clearly, Im not buying a Cadillac.

I was in the store on a Saturday, found the glasses we wanted and then had an insurance issue so needed to wait until Monday. Called on Tuesday and our information had been misplaced due to computer issues in the store. Cie jumped right to it and went to looking for the frames we had picked out. With the snap of a couple pictures we were able to find the exact frames. Finished the transaction over the phone. Ive never had such great customer service. Never. She needs a raise!

I went yesterday after seeing the Doctor next door, NOT HAPPY. When I first walked in a Lady (Caio?) greeted me, then gave me my insurance info, she was nice. BUT I had walked around the store 4 times or so, and I stood by the designer glasses for 5 minutes trying to get some to try one, but no one helped me. The lady that initially helped me was on the phone so I didnt go to interrupt her, yet there were 3 younger ladies standing MAYBE 3 feet away talking, or eating and ignoring me. I dont think its my job to ask for help when I was THE ONLY PERSON in the store at the time. I stood there and stared at them for a bit. After working in retail/sales/customer service for almost 10 years this was a huge let down. I was so disappointed, I got my insurance card and left. I went to LensCrafters and had an amazing experience. You lost my business and everyone I know Im telling to not waste their time in this store. I would of bought 2 pairs that I liked but I refuse to spend my money to help people that cant help me.

Had a problem with the labs work, but the assistant manager was very apologetic and offered to make it right. My advice to anyone who thinks something isnt right, dont wait. Mistakes happen and we went far too long, thinking oh, its just a matter of adjusting to new glasses.

Went 45 miles to the Wichita location to pick up the glasses that we ordered a few days prior. There was a pretty bad storm going through town and the business shut down early, which I would have too. They opened their doors for us and set my kids up with their new glasses. So I moved from Colorado, an had went in for my eye exam prior to moving to Wichita. with my prescription already done by eyeglass world in Colorado, I take my prescription in to the Wichita location to have it filled, an right before I called to get prices an when they would be ready Im told $309.00 an 3 to 5 days, however arriving to the store it goes to 4 to 7 days which is a slight change but still ok. My grace period I wait out by them saying they would call no call I call in twice only being hit with excuses itll be in Monday the manager sent a Email which is 2 days after I called in about my prescription being late very very displeased.

I had insurance forced on my bill, but not scratch resistance. I was told their glass were already scratch resistant, they lie!! These are the worst glasses of my lifetime and Ive been wearing glasses since I was a child. I will NEVER do business with eyeglass world EVER AGAIN. Dont be fooled by their $78 carrot, its all snake oil. I paid $450 for 2 pair of REALLY REALLY CHEAP glasses. AVOID EYEGLASS WORLD AT ALL COSTS!!!! RIP OFF!!!

If you are looking for help this is not the place to go. I went into the store twice and no one even bothered to help me. After i picked out my frames i stood there for over 20 minutes before someone helped me. I went in today to pick up my glasses and i was promised i would have a hard case. Well they gave me a crappy hard case but not the one i was promised. I purchased a pair of Michael kors wich should have came with the michael kors case. Any other eye glass store has always gave me my case. Hmmm are they just trying to keep them and sale them else where. Not happy.......Update. Jason the manager made things right with me. I got my case and a little extra. I will change my 1 star to a higher rating only because of the management is great and understands how a business should be ran. Thank you Jason.

The one star rating is for the nice girl that helped me with my transaction of purchasing the glasses. Once you understand how the two pair for $78 works it is easy to choose something fitting your desires but it will cost you more. I can understand that the features I needed for my glasses will cost me but even to buy the $179 pair of frames had I got the second pair of frames they would not have been free. People need to remember that in addition to the frames, you have to pay for the lenses and all the added features you want. Sad part is We drove 125 miles one way, they had to order the glasses, so not done in about an hour is a joke. Then I receive the glasses via UPS about two weeks after they were ordered, packaging was poor, glasses were in a cheap faux leather pouch, no extra padding in box to protect my investment, no cleaning cloth, spray, final receipt, Walmart eyeglass place treats you better than this.to male matters worse, although package was addresses properly, UPS delivered to the wrong house. While their ads and what you get remind me of the ol bait n switch tactics businesses use to get you into the store, personal service while at the store was good, follow-up service was very very poor and they should be ashamed. And No, I do not need to contact the store, this should have been done properly in the first place. I will not be coming back nor recommending to my friends. Especially when I went 125 miles out of my way to buy from this company.

If you are using Wage Works or Payflex or some other FSA the $25 1 year warranty will be denied for FSA. No one at Eyeglass world informed me of this OTC purchase.Use caution if purchasing 1year warranty.

My eyeglasses dont work for me. They are so far up on my face that I have to constantly take them off to clean and when they are at normal adjustment I cant see out of them which means the bifocal is incorrect and I can feel my eye lashes up against them. Im very disappointed and probably shouldve stuck with Lenscrafters. Theyve exceeded the limitations of my insurance and now I am stuck with a useless pair of glasses I cant hardly see out of.

Terrible, we were waiting for a little under an hour and no one helped us. We had already picked out the glasses and had been waiting, then someone asked about 20min in, what we needed, then went to the back of the store and never came back out. We eventually left the store without having gotten any help. It was ridiculous. None of the workers were very busy and barely any customers were in the store. If there was an option for 0 stars I would give it.
