Love the staff here, they’ve all treated me very well over the years. Range is very good, modern and safe. RSO’s know what they’re doing and will help you if you ask for it. Staff are very knowledgeable. That’s what my 5 stars are for. Their prices on everything however are higher than other stores in Wichita and that’s disappointing. I go in to use the range when my normal range is closed and occasionally I’ll buy a gun from them. They were my go to when I was first getting into the firearms hobby. Unfortunately I’ve just found better prices on firearms and Ammo elsewhere, which sucks because I really like the entire staff.

Range 54 has awesome, very knowledgeable staff. I took a private lesson and a couple weeks later attended the Introductory Pistol class for women only led by Christina and Brooke. These ladies are amazing - their knowledge, skill, and patience with everyone was outstanding! Very comfortable, safe environment and I learned so much. I will definitely sign up for more classes and cant wait to go back and shoot some more. I highly recommend Range 54!

Great place to go for a fun activity with your friends, or to get a little practice in by yourself. They have a wide variety of firearms and accessories to choose from. You can even rent guns, if you dont own your own, or if you just want to try something out before buying. The staff is friendly and helpful. The lanes themselves are roomy and well lit. Head on down and have some fun.

Me and my son shot here when I was in the states and really enjoyed our experience. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and they had a great selection of products to help equip my new AR. When I return there I will definitely visit them again.

I don’t like this gun store at all. They are VERY judgmental and only want to sell to conservative white people it seems to me. Or a certain black person that they think should buy a certain gun. It’s very upsetting and they had absolutely no reason to deny me. I do not recommend younger minorities purchasing firearms or ammo from here; unless you want to be interrogated, and discriminated against.

Introductory pistols by Brooke and Christina was well done. They made everyone feel welcome and answered all of our questions. Time on the range was an empowering experience. Looking forward to the concealed and carry class.

This is an outstanding venue. It’s state of the art, and the owners obviously place a premium on customer care. Everyone is friendly, good humored, patient with questions, knowledgeable, and attentive. We didn’t get everyone’s name, but a special “thank you” to Heidi, Phillip, Larry, and Matt. This is a one-stop shop that offers diverse activities, addressing the needs from the beginner to the skilled. Seeing young folks to geriatrics like us, it was apparent that everyone was enjoying quality time. No pressure, but a lot of fun. We also appreciated staff’s care In maintaining a clean and comfortable atmosphere.A most positive experience, and we are hooked.

The facility is very clean and well lit up. It’s not fun to be in a dark building.The staff are dressed professionally; and above that, behave courteous, informative, and apt to assist in anything.Fancy target machines give many options of where to place paper target. Well ventilated shooting range.What I love about this place; is that they charge only $15 fee to rent any pistol, unlike most other places. Shoot 23 different pistols and it’s only one $15 fee. You have to buy their ammo for their rentals (for obvious reasons). I was able to test out all their pistols and found what worked best for me.The place is well kept and staffed, with tons of accessories to shop at. I’m cheap and don’t buy most anything locally. I try to make the most out of every dollar I earn; and get them online. It’s usually cheaper. I don’t have luxury to spend more to support local places. Sorry. I’ll let those who are going to do it: continue with such.

Range 54 is a great place to shoot. Wish the range fees were a little less, but it hasnt stopped us from going there yet. And Stewart always makes us feel like family when we have the pleasure of seeing him there.

Traveled a couple hours to buy a $2500 safe from Range 54 and they don’t have the ability to load it on a trailer. I was going to have to hire a safe mover to get it out of the store.

I just wanted to let you guys know that you have an excellent employee in Gio. I called in this afternoon to speak with Max W., but he was not in. Gio offered to try and help, and I’m glad he did. He was able to answer all my questions, and address all my concerns, in a way that a first time gun owner could understand and feel comfortable. He also educated me on some of the additional classes that are available to me, my wife and kids. All things that I had been concerned about, with bringing the first gun into our house. Of this, I am extremely appreciative.Being a first time handgun owner, with a family, has been a little stressful, but my experience with you all has been so great. Starting with Vandy when I initially came in to try out some guns on the range, to Max helping me with the checkout process (that guy knows his stuff!), and finally with Gio addressing some of my inevitable follow up questions/worries. Ive been a member of this range for 6 months now, and bought multiple firearms from here. Its an awesome place. Everyone is as helpful and friendly as you can possibly get. Their training classes are very nice to take too, if youre looking to educate yourself further.

Horrible. I’ve been twice now, the first time I was told there was no openings on the range for the next three hours. Which was fine, I looked at gear, not one sight, holster, mag, or any kind of accessory for the pistol I have. The second time I went, I could not get anyone to acknowledge that I was there. I stood at the counter for a good 15 minutes. Two men and one female spent the whole time helping two customers, while a fourth man was typing on a computer for a customer on the phone. I left. Over-rated, over priced, and they act like you don’t mean anything to them. No thanks.

Today I shot a gun for the very first time, and the entire staff overall was so nice and helpful. Daniel was working in the bay I was put in, and he took the time to teach me step by step and build my confidence until I felt ready. I’ll definitely be coming back for the classes so I can learn more.

I want to thank the short younger man in your sales dept. he was amazing. Took someone that was totally new to owning a handgun and walked me through the whole process. He was amazing and deserves some appreciation.

We’ve had 4 family members take the conceal and carry class! Tom was the instructor and was excellent and Ken extremely helpful when we were qualifying! Looking forward to taking other classes offered by Range 54.

I took a conceal carry class here and our instructor Tom kept us all engaged. Had lots of stories to share to drive home safety and being aware of surrounding. The facility is top notch. Shooting range is very clean. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable and eager to help.

Womens class has excellent instructors. These leaders dont make a big deal of being women or force you to put on bravado or feign one upmanship. Its just easy. Recommend learning here.

Come in to the Range on a regular basis, and always have a good experience. Everybody in the shop is helpful and courteous. I have also purchased several items from them, and it’s always been a breeze. In my opinion the best place to shoot in Wichita. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

Such a great range...even better staff and instructors!! I recently took the Drawing from Concealment Course and I was overwhelmed with the knowledge these guys had. Greg and Gio did a great job at leading the training! They took their time making sure we understood exactly what to do and then they showed us before we actually did it ourselves. It was great to learn from Ken as well! Im looking forward to the next training opportunity.

Not everyone grew up in a house with guns and monthly shooting expeditions. I grew up in Europe, at a time where no one had guns.(not legally)Today was my first time holding/shooting a gun. I have shot at almost every indoor range in Wichita. This is my personal favorite and the staff is very friendly. They keep it clean and have a very good selection.

Best range in Wichita hands down. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable service. Just overall great atmosphere, with an awesome selection on firearms for sale and or rent. Would recommend to anyone. Also great for beginners and younger shooters. To more advance shooters with classes and weekly competition matches.

Recently I took a 2 hour shotgun training class with Ken and Tom at Range 54. I must say they are excellent instructors. They are passionate about seeing to it that you know what your weapon will do for you. It was informative and downright clear. You would benefit from the instruction and training of this class. Especially, if you are getting to know your firearm. Great job!THIS WAS A VERY POSITIVE AND HELPFUL EXPERIENCE. Worth the money, time and effort.

Above and beyond in terms of customer service. I’m new to guns and shooting overall and was honestly terrified. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and patient, and Matt came to assist me and my husband with basic handling techniques and patiently walked us through step by step. He even helped to steady my hand when I shot a gun for the first time!! Will definitely return and purchase firearms here in the future. Will highly recommend for newbies like myself!!!!

I took a Concealed Carry Handgun class here and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Our class instructor was Tom and he was a very informed, professional person who was also relatable and funny. The class goes over statues surrounding concealed carry in Kansas and requires a written and shooting test. I feel well educated regarding my rights to carry as a citizen and the legal implications that accompany it.

Very respectful and knowledgeable about carry conceal, cleanest place Ive ever gone to shoot, and the employees make you feel like family as soon as you walk in. I bought a firearm here and they have a good stock of them. I would highly recommend this place to train, shoot for fun, or buy. They also have try before you buy as well. Cant say enough good about them so Ill stop here.

They are taking precautions for whats going on. I think they could handle this situation a little bit more professional, than how they are doing it now. Like a sign in front telling people that they dont want anybody in the store, or on their website saying they are taking precautions. Im not a first time shooter. This is my second visit here and my first experience was way better. I believe Rainierarms, has better training and inventory than Range 54.

Fantastic staff! Great range officers they definitely dont mind you asking questions! They are great about safety arent mean about it unless you either continue to violate rules or just straight up dont listen. Even if their prices are a little high and from what Ive noticed they arent that much higher than the box stores. Ammo might be a few bucks more but Im more than willing to pay the extra to support a local business. Cant wait to start taking some of their classes!

Stopped by this place the other day after passing it numerous times and saying I would check it out but never did. I was swept away when I got in there. This place looked nice. Very clean, well thought out layout, very professional and very guest-friendly areas. Had a pretty big selection of rental guns and a big selection of guns for sale. The prices on the guns were a bit higher than Id pay for them but the selection was great. Didnt give me that vibe that I get from every non-chain gun store in the city (You know the vibe. The one where you walk in and almost have to beg for help and then talked to like youve never held a gun before). The range prices were pretty good too. Not the cheapest place to shoot but the prices are justified when you look at the place. Vending machines, eating area, product area. The location is pretty good too. Its right off the freeway (And right down the street from Wichita Gun Club). I havent shot there yet or spent too long there but Im sure the experience will be pleasant when I do soon.

Registered for a basic handgun safety course. Have shot a handgun once before without instructions. Going through the course with instructor Tom was what I was needing to fully understand the fundamentals of a handgun. Training and target practice was very helpful and insightful. Recommend coming out here if you are wanting to learn more about general safety and maintenance of a handgun.

Awesome shooting range! Very clean. Helpful staff who are approachable and friendly. 15 bucks to shoot as many of their guns as you want; you do have to shoot their ammo if shooting their guns but pricing is competitive with any retailer. 18.95 for a lane rental with no time limit, I easily spent two and a half hours here. Good inventory of everything shooting related. Very cool gun range.

Not your typical gun range...but for all the right reasons! Its the first range Ive been to that feels welcoming as a family environment. The place feels comfortable, safe, and clean.Ive been taking the Range 54 training classes which are fantastic. I can honestly see my skills increasing which is encouraging. Ken, Tom, & Derek have been my instructors; theyve all been great about sharing their knowledge at my pace...meaning, I dont feel rushed or pressured to keep up.Big kudos to Stu out on the range. He has helped friends, family, and I numerous times. If you have questions, just ask him! Hes a range officer guru that can give you tips on everything from loading your gun to shooting competitively.I recommend the rental system! Its affordable and you can shoot about any gun you can think of. I took my son for his Birthday and he tried about 20 different pistols for one small rental fee. He was on cloud 9 & I got dad cool pointsIf I sound like a Range54 fan boy, its because I am! Give them a visit and Im sure youll feel the same way.

Havent been to many ranges before, but DAMN this one is nice. All new facility with pretty new ranges. I think theres 16 total but Im not sure. You can rent gums there for a small fee and theres no limit on how many guns you use. Basically you give them your DL, take a gun, shoot it, get a new gun, shoot it, etc. They sell range ammo for the rental guns, and you can use that ammo on your own guns too.They do have military pricing on ranges, as well as multiple people discounts (per lane). They will provide rental hearing and eye protection if you dont have any or want to buy any.They have tons of different targets, from card games to actual competition targets, as well as some bad guys.The staff is totally helpful as well, (the owner is from derby I found out) and instructed me the right way to use, aim, and shoot my pistol. They also sweep the casings for you so theres no tripping hazard after a few (or 5) boxes of 9mm ammo ;)All of this is just the range portion. They also sell tons of guns, pistols, rifles, shotguns, you name it!10/10 will definitely return many, many times.

My fiance and I went for our anniversary and I had never shot a gun before and Stewart, one the workers, was very helpful in teaching me how to shot and hold a gun. I was very appreciative of his help and his patience with me. He truly made it a good experience.

Took the basic handgun class today and Tom (the Dude) was awesome. I had a great time and learned so much. The place is super clean, they have a ton of merchandise and staff that can answer any of your questions. The instructors and staff were all super nice too, definitely recommend this place

Range 54 is in a class of their own. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly; they do everything they can to insure an enjoyable and safe experience is had by all. Training classes are second to none, and the facility follows the same standard.

Great place, walked my no guns allowed wife through handling, firing, and purchasing. Such a easy going place that we are now members. Awesome rental program. Not pulling favorites but, Stewart is the best person to deal with, seriously they are all great.

Great place to blow off some steam by blowing up targets!! The interactive range is a ton of fun and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I bought my first AR for them and they helped me through the whole process. My wife and I will definitely be returning.

This is a shooting facility to go and practice at with your handguns. Its very clean and has a very knowable staff to help you improve your aim. They highly regard safety and will teach you the all the basic principles of firearms. I recommend this company and the service they offer. They do charge for memberships but are well compatible with other ranges in the area..

Excellent range to shoot at, very knowledgeable staff, friendly, clean, helpful. Wide selection of guns and rifles to rent and shoot. The range is set up for any firearm up to a 300 mag. You can fire handguns and rifles in the same range with no time limits and there is a skills range as well. Very impressed with my first visit.

I think Range 54 is by far the best range in Wichita. Im far from an experienced shooter, but every time I go into the range their staff always go out of their way to help me and answer my questions. I was so impressed, I signed up for two classes plus a yearly membership. Their range is modern, clean and hands down the nicest around.

I love Range 54. The people that work there will go out of their way to help you find what you need. There are plenty of lanes to shoot on and a nice selection of hand guns, rifles, shot guns and other arms to choose from if youre in the market to buy.

I know a lot of people that complain about how rude the staff is, but they are only curt at times because safety is their number one priority. They are all very knowleadgeable, helpful, and maintain a professional demeanor. I love shooting at Range 54!

If I was to go to a range anywhere, this place is top im my list for places that I will come back to. NOTHING BEATS HAVING 100 ACRES OF OPEN LAND THOUGH, But this isnt about that. This range has everything from a non discriminating or non condescending staff, to an amazing selection and indoor range. Amazing experience! Great facility, lots of nice rental firearms, and they absolutely accomadated a large group of shooters and the range masters made it a great time! Encouraged the new shooters, offered tips, and kept a safe and clean shooting environment. We brought friends in from out of the country and they helped everyone enjoy themselves.

Im from MN but i was driving through Wichita and saw this range open so i stopped by to sight in my AR. The staff was very nice and courteous and have a state of the art indoor range. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a great indoor shooting range in the area.

I shoot here regularly and have taken 4-5 training classes. I have also taken classes at other ranges around town. I cannot recommend Range 54 enough. The instructors are all former or current law enforcement so their perspective and knowledge applies very well to shooters of all backgrounds vs. other ranges that only have a background of military or youtube instructors. Theres no where else in the city I go for training anymore. The facility is very comfortable and clean. I cant speak highly enough of the facility as well as the staff. Keep up the outstanding service.

Range master was a straight up jerk. He treated everyone like they were a child and was just plain rude. Complained to the owner and he just said thanks for the input and didnt apologize or anything. Thats not how you keep repeat business and they just lost mine. The ladies at the counter were awesome and were far more helpful than anyone else.
