I took my recently purchased Harley Dyna to The Bike Shop. It is older, and was not well maintained by the previous owners. Numerous things didnt work, and the electrical system, in particular, was a hot mess...too many back-yard mechanics had messed with it. Ken and Heather meticulously brought it back to life from old, tired, beat-up, and neglected to fully functional, and 100% inspected, tightened, adjusted, repaired, tuned, and ready to ride. Strong, and in great shape. Runs like a top...looks great. They fussed over the tiniest detail. Theyre a little OCD. Fan for life!

I’ve had great experiences at The Bike Shop, great prices and great quality work. I tried calling this week and the phone is gone. I spoke to a business neighbor and was told he is doing work from his own garage because the landlord doubled his rent during COVID-19. I just don’t know how to contact him now.

This is the best bike shop! Went by there today and was shocked to find that they are out of business. Please does anyone know how we can contact the owners for maintenance?Can anyone recommend a temporary shop?

I took my bike in for typical maintenance....What an amazing couple owning and operating this small business....my bike was cleaner than I left it it had the clutch adjusted no more loose anything....it runs better than when I bought it 7 yrs ago. I told Heather I was getting ready to ride to KC in the morning when I dropped it off....I feel that the two of them and yes I mean both the woman and the man of the shop workef on it as if THEY WHETE GOING TO RIDE IT TO KC IN THR MORNING.....I fell in love with my bike again when I by the time I got to the end of the shops block.....I AM NOW A PIMP WITH WALKIN WITH A LIMP WHILE EATN FRIED SHRIMP..........THANK YOU MR. MRS BIKE SHOP

I went by there today to have some work done and discovered they went out of business. The business next door said they went out about 6 six weeks ago. This was a great shop to do work with and losing yet another motorcycle repair shop in Wichita.

Took my bike in to have new tires installed, mounted and balanced. When I picked my bike up I immediately noticed the speedometer not working correctly. Took my bike back and explained my problem and they said there is no way they could’ve caused the issue because my bike’s speedo doesn’t operate off the tires. The kind folks were happy to offer fixing it with a 2hr minimum at $70/hr though! Just seems peculiar since I’ve owned the bike for 2 years w/o any issues and the first trip returning from the shop I’m experiencing problems.Aside from this, the charges on my bill didn’t add up. I had a $135.80 subtotal for labor plus $10.19 for tax but yet my bill was $156.18. They explained that their software was ‘outdated’ and they had a small supplies fee that doesn’t get printed on the receipt. Ironically enough this imaginary “supplies fee” is the EXACT same amount as the tax- $10.19.Maybe these are both very strange coincidences but I’m not convinced. I think these folks will nickel and dime you wherever you’re not looking. I am very disappointed and will not be going back. Do NOT recommend The Bike Shop.

Heather and Ken are the best. Not only will you be treated with respect, but both are very knowledgeable in the Motorcycle Repair, and accessories. I give them a 5 Start as that is what they dish out...

Brought in my 03 r6 for an ignition switch replacement, they told me when ordering to avoid eBay switches, so after i ordered a genuine Yamaha switch brought her in and they took very good care of me. Honest hardworking genuine down to earth folks. They seem to do a very good job of informing you of what needs to be done, and exactly how to go about doing it the right way, all without pushing unnecessary repairs. Being able to bring your own parts is a huge plus as well, do right by them and order good quality parts as opposed to the cheapest thing you can find. Be sure to call ahead and make an appointment, and treat these guys right so they can continue to treat their customers right, myself included. Thank you guys for a great experience, i will definitely be back(hopefully not too soon).

This past week was my first interaction with The Bike Shop but definitely will not be the last. I had some wacky electrical issues going on with my 1999 Venture that they not only fixed but made better than stock in the end, Heather and Ken were both great in taking the time to let me know what was going on with my ride and what the plan was to get her going again. The Bike Shop delivered super fast, reasonably priced and with phenomenal customer service (the later having great weight in my book) every step of the way. This is officially my go to shop in Wichita from now on. Highly recommend!

I called and got great customer service over the phone. Was given a appointment (one week out in June) and a quote that was very accurate at a great price. When I dropped the bike off I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place and professionalism was a breath of fresh air for a bike shop. I had my fork seals replaced and both brakes done and all was done in less then 5 hours :-) everything was done well and with quality parts. I will never go to another shop in Wichita, Ks! GO The Bike Shop, Inc. You ROCK!

Ken & Heather, What can you say about these two? They are what the template of humanity should be made of, Kind, Honest, Helpful, Sincere, Humble, okay you get what Im saying just good down to earth people. They love what they are doing and it shows. After several so called specialists worked on my bike, This wonderful team of two and doc their dog took me in, fixed the mystery challenge that I had been trying to get resolved and got me back on the road for the first time since last summer.If you are looking for a bike shop that knows what their doing and not charge you like they are performing brain surgery, give Heather and Ken a call, you also will soon be giving them much deserved thanks and praise.

Best customer service around! They even let you know if there is another issue! Ken and Heather keep you informed about your bike and are extremely knowledgeable in their field!

These people really know their stuff. I am happy I went there as other shops wanted twice as much for service that they might get to just three months from now. They were ready to get my bike done over the weekend! My bike self corrected the problem by the time they took it out so they didnt charge a dime. These people are honest and reasonable and I am happy to give them my business.

Ive been twice for minor things and had a great experience both times. I can tell theyre very busy, but theyre always glad to make time for me. I could see too when he took my bike for a test ride that it still puts a smile on his face every time he rides. Always a good sign. It wouldve been easy to fool me into paying for repairs I didnt need as well, they seem like very honest people.

Ken and Heather are great people. Great service. Ken knows what he is doing. THE BIKE SHOP is the only place I will take my Harley. Very fair prices. I will say it again. Great people. Thank you both.

In any business, if you can find people who are passionate about what they do then you will always have a better experience than if you take it to a shop that has employees that only care about their paycheck. Ive taken about four 70s era bikes to them and have been pleased with everything they have done. Excellent service, knowledgeable guys, reasonable price. I tell everyone they should use them.

Family owned and operated, awesome, knowledgeable service, plus a local business, and its not hard a choice. Competative pricing as well. Ive brought my R6 in to swap tires multiple times and Ive always been happy with the job thats been done and how Ive been treated. They even detailed her before I came to pick up. I called them a week in advance to when i was planning on bringing my motorcycle in, just to make sure they would work on it. I spoke to a man, he told me that he could get it done in a few days. I was happy that i found a place. I called the morning that i was going to bring it in, i spoke to a woman. She said that my motorcycle was too old..... mabey you guys should communicate with each other. Long story short, i was VERY fed up and i wont be recommending this place nor will i go there ever again. ~!VERY DISAPPOINTED!~

Outstanding Service! I took wheels and tires in to get mounted. They got me right in and got my tires mounted and balanced. Very nice people to deal with. I wont go anywhere else!

Best shop in Wichita they were the cheapest by $50+ dollars on a forkseal change and were very quick to fix my bike I believe they also cleaned my fairings this shop rocks!

They were the first and only shop I found that would mount tires brought in by the customer without trying to send their kids through college by what they charged me. The got me in and got my tires on in the time frame they said they would and the workmanship was oustanding. I would recommend them to anyone and as a matter of fact a friend of mine is going to take his bike in to have tires put on it this week.

As a woman it is easy to find shops that provide a dishonest and subpar service. This shop provides honest and quality service. I wouldnt trust any other shop like I trust this one.

This is a late post but wanted to thank Heather and the crew for getting my bike back on the road. I took my bike to another company who didnt specialize in small engine mechanics. After multiple attempts, the company failed and I took my bike to The Bike Shop. They looked over the bike and told me what was wrong with it. This team is very honest and professional. I wont go anywhere else for anything.

Had a carry on mount and ballance. They squeezed it in and was out of there in a short amount of time. Definately be back next time I need work.

Bike guys that know their stuff! My 1982 Suzuki GS650L got a complete carb repair. It had been sitting since I came back from Iraq 6 years ago. They took the carb apart and showed me the yellowish film all inside the carb bowl. After the ultrasonic cleaning, the yellow was gone and the entire bowl gleamed all shiny and new looking. Amazing! They also repaired my brake caliper that was stuck with rust. The ultrasonic again did the trick. All the work they did was better than the Suzuki dealer that last worked on it. At this shop all they guys know how to WORK on bikes, not just computer diagnostics like the dealers. I rode a few days later to Corpus Christi. I got amazing gas mileage from the carb clean and a safe, trouble free trip. Thanks guys!
