Good prices, and nice people working there. Always helpful. Security at each units makes it better! Ive been storing there for a few months now, I missed one payment and they helped me, and I have never had a problem with anything there.

Prior to last night (06/28/21) I could say several good things about this place. But following the incident last night, I have no words that can actually describe how I feel at this time. This is suppose to be a 24 hour access facility and NOT ANY WHERE, including the INSIDE OF THE OFFICE AND FRONT DOOR, EXCEPT for the EXIT GATE ONLY, YES THE EXIT GATE ONLY does it tell you the hours for access have changed.Last night around 900/915 pm went over to take care of some items regarding our RV pull along that we needed to do(restock, linens, put away some things), which took us a little longer than normal but at approximately 1005 pm we TRIED to leave the property. Put in my access code and was denied exit 4 different tries. Finally called the 800 number for after hours. Ended up talking to Desirea and she stated she would call the property manager and we would get a call from that person. 15 mins later, I call again and get same person and she tells me they reached out and I should be getting a call. 12 mins later, I get Jacob on the line (by now, I am really upset to say the least) and he informs me the same thing. I asked him to put me on hold and call this person and let me know that he talked to them. He cant do that. He has no way of placing me on hold and contacting them. (wrong answer) I hang up. My calm husband, who is getting irritated tells me I need to remain calm. During this time, we are watching several drug deals go on across the street at the hotel and LOTS of people are moving in and out of that hotels parking lot while some guy high on life is selling his soul. I call again around 1048 pm and get Carolyn whom I explain the situation. She tells me the same thing as the previous two but I explain to her the area of town ONCE AGAIN that we are located in. She places me on hold - which I was told by Jacob you cant do - to see what she can do for us. After being on hold for approximately 10 mins, she comes back with this answer from the district manager (from what I was told). You will need to park your car and come back for it in the morning. EXCUSE ME???? are you like kidding??? We are in a area of town that is not good, drug deals are going down and people are a little sketchy. They want me to leave my car, walk out of there and come back in the morning. We were very lucky our son was able to come pick us up. We picked up my car in the morning and have been trying to contact district manager since. My husband left a message for him, got a call back but ended up missing it; due to being at work, tries to call back and ends up leaving two messages.What is really mind boggling is the simple fact that we are told to park, leave car and pick up in the morning. NOW, what if I had no ride to pick us up? The simple fact that this person, whom I would guess has never WALKED down the street where this storage unit is, can tell us to do just this THROUGH THE HELP OF THE OPERATOR AT THE AFTER HOURS NUMBER. They cant even call me to tell me this. They had our number, our unit number, all of our information according to the AFTER HOURS number but THIS PERSON CAN NOT CALL US.We have rented in the past a storage unit, with no issues. Then we needed a place to put our pull along and this is where we went back to because the manager was wonderful. The times have changed from then and we have new management, who only talked bad about the previous manager and how things were done right and how we were going to get a phone call to make sure we had a trailed hitch lock on our pull along due to crime in the area but that call never came either.I would not rent from here. I will be putting in my notice and pulling my pull along out of the facility soon. Cant do it today or I would. When management is willing to not inform customers of changes & tell you to park and walk at 1100 pm.... there is no concern for safety of the customer. Maybe you need to read your Motto in the about us on your website and start following your goal.

I was in a situation where I was needing storage in a hurry. I called Metro and they were up front with the costs and treated me well. I felt like they cared even though I was only renting a unit for a short time. My agent was professional and got me the perfect unit to fit my needs. I would highly recommend using Metro Self Storage for any storage needs. The lot was alarmed and well maintained. I felt good leaving my personal possessions somewhere safe and secure. I was able to access my unit easily for loading and unloading. Overall, I had a great experience.

Amber was super helpful and friendly! She was very busy, but was professional and handled everyone quickly - yet was attentive to each persons needs. I was very impressed considering how I get treated at many other businesses around town.

Very friendly, good rates. Like that each unit has own alarm system. Security gate and live on person on site as extra security. Drainage system so water doesnt enter units.

I would just like to say that since I have been a customer at this facility, Desirae, the manager, has always been very helpful and courteous to me. She has always been great when I have had questions or when I go in to pay rent. That is appreciated very much. I have even told her the same. In the way I have been treated there and witnessed other customers being treated the same as myself, I certainly recommend this storage facility.

RENT HERE!! Cleanest storage company Ive seen. Employees are super nice and helpful. Highest security anywhere in town!!! I cant believe their prices are as afordable as everywhere else for how much better they are!!!

Long story short, I needed a unit and quick. I made an online reservation and within 4 minutes of submitting it, I received a call to set it up. I told her that I was going to be cutting it close to closing time and she had no issues at all with it. When I was able to get there an hour or so later, she was more than helpful with making sure I had all my questions answered and she took the time to still make sure everything was right, even though they were closing very soon. The units themselves were all nice and clean. I was very pleased to see that the facility itself was well kept.I would love to be able to remember the womans name but I cant, all I know is that her customer service and the way she handled the transaction really set out not only her skills but reflected so well for the company. I will be sure to go out of my way to recommend this location and plan to continue storing things here for years to come!

Ive been using Metro Self Storage off and on for a number of years. This is the best storage faciliy in Wichita! I think Metro should have more locations in Wichita. This one happens to be close to me. They are super nice, professional, facilities are always clean, and the price is very affordable! I wont go anywhere else! The Manager will go out of her way to assist YOU. I was impressed with her willingness to assist me. Renting a storage unit can be confusing - how large to get - how will my stuff fit?? I rented a 10x10 unit for several years. The staff have always been incredibly friendly and helpful, even when I was falling late on a payment, and I was never made to feel like I was lesser for having those late moments. I had tried other places before Metro Self Storage, and I had things stolen several times at others, but that never once happened in all my years here despite my unit being easily seen from the steet.Clean, friendly, secure, and understanding brings my review to a shining 5 stars, and Id rate higher if I could for the number of times Ive walked in at the tail end of a conversation where someone else is being given a chance to clear out without auction, or just for the fact that I had to leave my unit a mess when moving and staff, not realizing I was far out of state now, offered me the chance to clear it in their dumpster just to avoid the (relatively small) fee for cleaning it.I can, will, and have recommended this place to people looking for a place to store their things.

Last August, I needed temporary storage, and was a able to locate and reserve a unit from out-of-state. Not sure if I would need a second one, I was able to reserve the second one for one month for free so it would be accessible if necessary. The two ladies in the office were always helpful and friendly. When I had an emergency, the maintenance man went the extra mile and helped me, too. I had been concerned when we had torrential rains, but the adequate drainage and raised floors were effective in preventing any rain from coming in. My experience was positive. I did recommend them to a friend and received one free month as promised automatically, with no additional work on my end. I would use Metro Storage again, if needed.

Do not waste your time. Anybody who knows me do not do it trust me. I have been calling this place for 3 hours. You would think they could call back they would have 5 minutes to spare. Its a bunch of corporate shenanigans. You will never be able to speak with the manager unless you drive in to the facility. They have an answering service. I stayed up all night to pack because I needed to move from my apartment. I stayed up to wait for a call for 3 hours. I communicated with them my situation. They did not call back. Everytime I call its a answering service saying I left a message for the manager to call 5/21/16.
