Just had to share my wonderful experience purchasing from” Neoclassics “ John was the go to guy that sold me my vehicle over a year ago and I shared with him my appreciation for the vehicle I chose it has been nothing but the best choice .I have not had not “ONE” problem out of my Mercedes and the company that does their automotive detailing is above and beyond the best his name is Chris so all I can say from A-Z I picked a winner across the board!!!!!
The Sales Team at NeoClassics, was Exceptional! My used 1997 Volvo, looks and runs Great! Probably the best Dealership... in Northeast Ohio!- Roger Paige
My husband and I had a great experience buying our car. We definitely recommend them!!
Tell him Im interested in a car and he just needs to fix a radio. Says hell call a guy to look at it and takes my info down to call me back. Sells the car the next day without contacting me. Dont fall for the nice guys act. Avoid as this is how they do business.
Yeah a deal was made on a vehicle in good faith. I was told the car needed fixed first before the sale would proceed. I was told after the repair was made the sale would take place. Information was exchanged and I was just waiting for the repair so the sale could proceed. Instead he sold the car to another party right from under my shoes. If I could rate him less than a zero I would. Do not do business with this dealership. They’re word means nothing. He said the repair was minor and would be taken care of right away. I was just waiting on the call to come pick up the car when surprisingly I learned the car was sold to another party. Not even a phone call. Do not do business with this dealership unless you like Suprises
Purchased a nice vehicle at a great price. Lydia took great care of my husband and I. She has a great personality and was very helpful. Would greatly recommend Neo Classics!! Thank you Lydia!!
John was easy to work with and very honest! When I picked up my car the engine light came on on my way home and I noticed that the AC was not working. I called John and he took care of all necessary repairs even though I bought the car as is! I would highly recommend doing business with these guys
They were absolutely excellent with customer service also they sale quality old school used cars in between years used cars and much newer model used cars and prices are fair and fantastic will definitely buy another vehicle from them
Absolutely love my car. Had it for 3 months and still zero problems with it. Very clean. Mechanics says it’s in perfect condition at 118k miles Hyundai suv
Nice family run business without any pressure to buy. Nice vehicles at very fair prices.
I just bought a car from Neo Classics an they were absolutely amazing. When I applied for financing the first bank was at 24% interest an pretty unpleasant to work with. Charlie at neoclassics wanted better then that for me an got in touch with another bank an got me 8%interest with my bad credit on the car. Saving me tons of money an they got me a great warranty. I’m super happy with my car an how I was treated. It’s family owned an as soon as you walk in you feel welcomed. No high pressure or fast talking. It’s super clean with a great vibe. I’m definitely sending all my friends an family here. Thanks guys.
Very positive experience with John and Charlie! I want to mention how Charlie changed his schedule for Christmas so we could pickup a vehicle on Christmas Eve and present it on Christmas!! Great choice of cars non auction cars, so if youre in the market for quality used or classics give these guys a shout... And Im not a paid sponsor just a satisfied customer... Happy Holidays!!
Purchased a 2012 Volvo C70, had a bad compressor on the a/c, they helped out with great service after the sale, if I lived near there, I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
Great selection of high-end used cars. Fair and honest. Highly recommended.
What a great car buying experience! Thank you again! The car is absolutely fantastic!
My wife and I bought a 2005 jeep liberty turbo diesel from these guys. He told us that his mechanic went over the jeep and every issue was fixed and that it would pass Pennsylvania inspection. After getting it home, all kinds of electrical issues started up. Power locks wouldnt work, key fob wont work, no interior lights would come on, sterio stopped working, lighter outlet has no power. When I took it to our garage for inspection and they put it up on there lift, we found multiple issues that were very obviously fixed bandaid style then hidden very cleverly. The muffle was actually not attached, but held on by a chain they drilled through the frame to hold into place. The only way it could be seen was when you lifted the vehicle and there was no wait on the frame or suspension so it wasnt being wedged into place. It turns out the electrical issues are due to someone rewiring and using the wrong kind of wire, a very cheap kind of wire. Also turns out that both front tires are close to falling off due to bad ball joints, and tire rod. Rear springs and shocks are bad. In retrospect, I should have had it inspected before buying, but coming from another state, I had no where to take it. All of these issues should have been addressed before dealer even thought about selling this car. Now I have to pay $2000 just so it can pass inspection even though I was told it would. Over all I would not recommend buying from this dealer without a thorough inspection by a mechanic you trust before hand. To many major issues hidden just to sell a car that is not road worthy. My biggest concern is he knew we would be driving around with small children in the vehicle and still hid issues that could have turned dangerous for us.
Great place with excellent cars. Got my wifes Volvo here. She loves it.
Great cars, amazing people and service!
Go see John for your next car. No pressure. Very helpful staff. Thanks for all your help!
I bought a 2009 RAV4 from Charlie in late June and I am SOOOOO HAPPY! While deciding on my purchase, I presented Charlie with my concerns about the vehicle. To my surprise, he fully addressed and resolved my concerns in a friendly, yet professional manner. Charlies a good guy and easy to work with, so give him a call.
I’ve had bad luck with some car purchases in the past. I’ve been lied to, scammed, and hustled so I was skeptical on dealing with these guys. I had perhaps the most straight forward, fair, and pleasing experience purchasing my Pontiac G8. No issues whatsoever and I love my car. Thanks John and Charlie for the hospitality and the great deal.
Nice people nice inventory and willing to work with you
Ive bought a lot of cars in my day and I can tell the difference between the dealership that band-aids problems then offers you a discount. These guys are the opposite, fair, easy to work with and they actually care about what they sell. Dont need to negotiate when the car is in the condition these guys offer! Thank you!
My husband and I bought a beautiful 2007 BMW 3 Series from John last night. The car was exactly as advertised! John even came back to the shop after they were closed because it was the only time my husband was available, which I thought was really awesome of him and I was extremely appreciative of him doing that. We have been to many dealers before going to see John and he was the only one who didn’t put the pressure on you to buy a car. He was super nice and answered all of our questions. He was very open and honest about everything. This was the best car buying experience I honestly have ever had! We will definitely be back! Keep up the good work guys!! 😊
Buyer Beware!!! We bought a 2005 Porsche Cayenne for our daughter. The listing said the owner of Neo classics was the only owner and it was garaged and well serviced. Drove 2 hours to see vehicle after talking to John who said vehicle was there. When we arrived he had sent it for tire pressure sensor repair and the car was not there. Went back and told us car was in great shape which the interior was for the most part. We purchased the car and it was one of the biggest mistakes we could have made. The car lights stopped working on the way home and that was only the beginning of our problems. We have replaced exhaust, brakes, tires that leaked air, the computer sensor for the four wheel drive and many more items. The worst part is the whole underside is rusted as though the car sat in water for years. It was never owned by John or garaged. He will lie to make a sale. Please use caution when considering a car from him.
Bought my 2005 Pontiac Vibe from them over a year ago and it still runs great. Had high miles, but that didnt matter for what I need. Only had to get oil changes in the last year - really great car! Great cosmetic condition, good tires, they gave me extra floor mats - I know I got a great deal! Charlie and John were very helpful and clearly knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
By far the best buying experience. Both gentleman were both amazing to work with and the car was exactly as described. Been following them for a while and was excited I finally had the chance to snag a car from their selection. Would recommend to everyone.
I have dealt with John and Charlie on many occasions and can definitely attest that they know their cars. They are honest salesmen who wont pressure you into a deal or try to make a sale. In my experience, their vehicles are always clean and are offered at a price that speaks for itself. Its always a pleasure doing business with them!
This guy will lie about anything to get rid of a car. He will hide and cover up problems and make BS stories to make seem like a good deal. I really hope this company will go out of business
Bought a Honda CR-V from John and Charlie almost a year ago. Trustworthy guys, great deal and a very reliable car! Had low miles, new brakes and receipts showing how well maintained the car was. Overall easy car buying experience, definitely will deal with them again! They had an awesome inventory of new and classic cars, very knowledgeable car guys!
Okay so this guy had a POS subaru imreza for sale at 5,000. I did a test drive and white smoke was coming out of the air vents. It would not shift into second gear. It staled while in neutral.. It was leaking oil, bad! Check engine light was on upon arrival. I respect him for taking the car off the website as of now. But do not buy the silver impreza off this guy.
Great guys, honest local family business! John & Charlie are very helpful and truly knowledge car guys. I have purchased a couple cars from them (my most recent is an ‘04 Volvo wagon- complete with factory dog gate so my 2 pups can safely travel with me!) I have referred friends and family as well.Earlier this year Charlie helped my mom find her “dream car”, which turns out to be a 2015 Toyota 4-Runner, who knew?He was so patient with us & took the time to find the best fit for her.I have been a small business owner and like to support local businesses. I also know how important a review can be. This company earned my 5 star rating.
Writing this a month after we purchased a 2012 Chevy Malibu after originally seeing the car online. It was as pictured and advertised. Charlie was easy to work with. We went in during the Coronavirus and employees were masked and social distancing, the place was clean and hand sanitizer was available. They provided a car fax & let us take the car to our mechanic who gave it the ok, and as expected with almost any new car there were some repairs/upkeep needed, but nothing majorly wrong. We also already own Chevys and had done our homework, so we knew what to look for. She’s been driving it and we feel it’s safe for her. The title also came quickly and it passed the e-check.Only downside is that it stinks from a previous smoker, but the interior is cleanOverall we’re satisfied customers.
Very good experience, nice clean cars at a very fair price, wood recommend 💑
John and Charlie gave me a great deal on my dream car. I had been looking for a 70s muscle car for years. Thank you guys!
Charlie was a pleasure to deal with.
The crew his tremendous. Whether youre looking for something fast and fun or something you can count on to get the kids off to school and yourself to work, they will help you. They dont try to talk you into anything that isnt the right vehicle for you and their prices are better than those bigger lots. They wont sell you something that will cause you to complain or be unhappy--its their business model to have happy customers. Their upfront about repairs and any potential needs for a car. They also have a number of connections locally and will help you find the best place to take your vehicle for continued maintenance, so it serves you for long into the future without costing an arm and a leg. Some local guys who dont have time for bs and want to be your choice for your next vehicle; guys you can count on to treat you right.
LIARS! Deliberately covered up mechanical issues in the car purchased. Did a really great job of it too. Took a month to send the title finally after we had to call them. Save your time and money, go to a reputable dealer. If you insist on going here...bring a real mechanic with you!
Just bought another car from Neo Classics! Im very happy with everything. Awesome people. They have a great selection of quality clean cars.I was very happy with Neo Classics. Charlie took the time to answer all my question. I bought a Toyota 4Runner from them. It’s was exactly how they described it. Very happy. Will definitely buy again.
Buyer beware low miles are not everything, has a lot of old low mile units which seem reliable but theyre still 25 year old vehicles. youre better off with a newer higher mileage unit at least you wont have rusty brake lines
Seemed as though John McDonald was a stand up guy, not the case. Spoke to him on the phone, he explained how hes not an online salesman, I can speak and talk to him. Bought a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis for my wife as a surprise because she loved the car. Car was advertised as rust free and everything works perfectly, even went as far as saying the car is so nice that it stays in the garage. Now, I understand that Im buying a 14 year old vehicle but it was all a sham. Driver seat adjustment doesnt work, driver heated seat doesnt work, passenger window wont roll up from passenger side and there is plenty of rust that the pictures dont show. Thats not the worst part, the car was parked inside the garage not because it was sooo nice. It was parked inside because the roof is damaged by the sunroof and it leaks like crazy. Funny how that wasnt mentioned. I actually asked if the headliner was messed up and was told no. I texted this guy after hours before purchasing the car and he always responded promptly, funny how he wont answer my text now. I never asked for a lower price either, thought this guy was honest. Nope. Paid full $6000.00 for the car and now have to put $2000.00 into it. Be careful and never buy a car unseen. Ive learned.
3 months later and THOUSANDS in repairs. I bought a Volvo xc70 from this establishment about three months ago. Since that time I have spent an average of $800 a month in repairs and am now facing a possible catalytic converter replacement. I thought these guys were good, honest people but it seems I got had. Here is a list of what I have had to fix in 2,000 miles of use:-Oil trap.-Vacuum pump seals-Air conditioner (sour moldy smell appeared shortly after purchase)-Radiator fan (overheated out of town on the freeway). Thanks Neo Classic.-Side mirror (flew off while driving)-Interlock solenoid (Faulty/not replaced yet)-Turbo- (some tube was broken and hanging there)-Now in process of replacingCatelitic converterNot even listing the things that were apparent at time of purchase.I wanted to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. Phone call not returned indicates my initial gut feeling was right. The first clue was when I never received a title and had to deal with that, despite having paid them for a title.Extremely sorry I ever bought this car.
I bought a Buick Le saber from Charlie. It had less than 100 thousand miles. It was in near new condition and now i dont have to be ashamed of my rusty Kia.
The best Place to buy a car from I got great deal and a good car from Charlie and John these to brothers are the best thank you again
Great cars and prices. Knowledgeable entertaining staff .
Wife purchased a toyota from these guys about a week and half ago for a work car. I was not present at the time. However, after filling up the tank she noticed an extremely strong gasoline odor forming inside the SUV.The next day i decided to drive the car to work to see what was going on. Sure enough the odor was so bad I had to roll down the windows. Come to find out the gas tank was rotted on the top side!!! She had taken our 5 month old with her at the time and the salesman even helped her strap him in. This safety issue with the tank could have caused the car to explode or catch fire !!!! Resulting in serious injures or even death! Interesting enough the car only had 1/8 a tank when it was purchased. Come to find out when the tank is close or at this level the fumes disappear. All it would havent taken was someone throwing out a cig at a stop light or a small spark generated from something and boom my family would have been gone!
I bought a 325xi from these guys for my daughter. She found it on the internet and i didnt believe that it could be as advertised. I was blown away at the condition of the car. I checked and rechecked everything. The price was right and the car was what she really wanted. The sale process was painless and quick. I highly suggest this place for anybody looking for an exotic car at reasonable prices. Thanks John, ill be back.
This dealer is a liar straight down the line. He advertised a BMW 550i that was supposed to be very well maintained. While on the test drive I could smell a strong burned oil smell coming from the engine bay, I asked him about the problem and he said the valve cover gaskets were leaking a little due to the car sitting, when I applied the brakes the front end was shaking badly, he claimed that it was just a little rust on the rotors. The serpentine belt squeaked for a good 10 minutes which he again blamed on the car sitting. He claimed the body was in excellent condition also, the lower drivers side bumper had a heavy scratch well into the clear coat. The asking price on the car was $8,000 firm. KBB BLUE BOOK WAS ONLY $6,300 in fair condition. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. The cars are mostly all auction garbage. DONT TRUST THIS PERSON, he is a liar with no conscience.
Hes deff a salesman ...not sure if thats a good thing or bad
I bought a 2004 VW GTI from John a few years back. The car was exactly as advertised. John knew his stuff when it came to Volkswagens. The car buying experience with John was great. I liked my car so much and the experience I had with John, I am returning to Neoclassics to find another car.
Great place! Easy to deal with and good selection.
Called on a car they advertised as a private party vehicle being kept in their garage etc etc. Turned out to be their dealer car for sale. After I made an appointment to see it and a 45 minute drive to view it at their dealership, I arrived to a sale supposedly being done on the car but John still telling me I could look at the car. Everything seemed fishy dealing with them. I’ll make sure to stay far away from this dealership.
I bought Volvo truck from this guy spent 4500$ and I asked john does it have any leaks and he looked me in the eye and said no. I take truck to mechanic a week later and it has a power steering leak it needs power steering pump and it has a oil leak as well around valve covers mechanic says its over 1000$ to fix both problems combined. Too make a long story short John is a liar hell tell you anything jus to make a quick buck. I wouldnt recommend spending a dime with neoclassics!! Hes not truthful about what hes selling!
I purchased a 2000 Porsche Carrera from this business in late October 2017. It was listed on the website as a truly well kept and cared for car. Needs Nothing. - During my test drive, the car overheated. The owner stated that it was an air pocket and will clear itself out. I believed his answer. Within 25 minutes of purchasing this vehicle, less than 20 miles from their dealership, the Coolant Warning Light Flashed. Soon after, the Check Engine light came on. I called the owner and he stated that I could get the check engine light diagnosed at AutoZone, rather than offering to have the car brought back and sort this out, as I was driving the car more than 800 miles to my home. I knew at that point that I had been lied to and that I was dealing with an unethical business, with no positive reviews or reputation to stand on. Once home, the car no longer started, could not be driven, and could not pass a State Inspection, causing the registration to be revoked. A mechanic diagnosed the engine as having a cracked cylinder head/block, which causes coolant to leak into the cylinder. These issues typically involve a new engine to be installed, which is what I had to do, at the cost of $9,500. These issues developed within 25 miles (30 minutes after purchase) of driving the vehicle, after the owner admitted driving the car for thousands of miles before I purchased it. He stated that the vehicle was trouble free in his thousands of miles. A vehicle cannot develop a major issue, such as this, in 25 miles of driving, and the evidence shows that this issue was known prior to being sold to me. While I did purchase the vehicle As-Is, w/ No Warranty, the vehicle was advertised as being very well cared for, and needed nothing mechanically. My complaint revolves around the false advertisement of the vehicle and lack of support after the problem occurred, whether there was a warranty or not.Additionally, he had promised to mail the vehicle title to me within 3 days of my purchase. After a week went by, I called the business, and asked if it was in the mail. He stated, No, I didnt get around to it. I was shocked by his response and careless attitude, especially since he had promised it to me by a specific date, and knew I had mechanical issues with the vehicle. This title is proof of ownership of the vehicle, and is highly important. The vehicle cannot be registered without it. When I demanded that he mail the title that same day, he stated, Youre lucky I even picked up the phone today, because it is my Birthday. And Im not working on my Birthday. After I reminded him that it shouldve been mailed 4 days before his birthday, as promised, he wouldnt have to drive to the post office on his birthday. I was stunned. He then stated that he had 40 days to mail the title to me, per Ohio State Law, and that he would mail it to me on day 39.When you meet and talk to the owners (they are brothers), they will be very friendly and kind. If theres nothing wrong with the car, youll have a pleasant experience and everything will be smooth. However, if theres something lurking under the hood, such as an undisclosed repair, you will be lied to, cheated out of your money, and shown no respect when you try to address it. The owner will become childish and go by the book, stating that you purchased it As-Is, with No Warranty, which helps him avoid any potential lawsuits or recourse, which is where I currently stand. He will not honestly provide any known issues of the vehicle upfront, and youll receive zero support if you find them post-purchase, which makes this a very risky business to purchase from. This business deals in older used vehicles, with very high miles, and many of them will need things to be addressed, although you will not be told that. I advise you get a Pre-Purchase Inspection done by a reputable mechanic, to have the vehicle thoroughly checked out before your purchase. Also, this company was previously known as Car Connection, allowing them a fresh start with no neg reviews.
John is a real enthusiast and one I have purchased 6 cars from over the last 3 years or so. He always has interesting hard to find cars and each time I am immediately driving the car 130 miles immediately after purchase. He is always very forthright and open about the car’s history and any needs. Many of the cars I have purchased have been older Mercedes or Porsche and they have all been great. This evening I picked up an S500 from him, drove it 130 miles with no issues and it was exactly as described. I have started leaving more reviews for restaurants, retail shops and others I use frequently as I am always SHOCKED how vicious people can be in these reviews. I had never reviewed John before because I assumed everyone had the same POSTIVE experiences I have had. I actually make it a point to see what he has in inventory 2-4 times annually. (He currently has a 1908 vehicle and three year old BMW ... it’s that wide a variety.) anyways I looked at some of the other reviews here and see a lot of people buying super high mileage European cars with no PPI and then being pissed because they didn’t notice some issue. I own many older exotics and European cars and service comes with the territory. I would encourage you to shop with John, talk to him about the car you intend to purchase. He is very knowledgeable and is HONEST. If you have concerns have a tech look at it before purchasing. This is the only place on earth that will have a low mile ford lightning and a vintage opel wagon in inventory at the same time. Awesome opportunity to look at and buy some unique cars. I highly recommend Neoclassics.
Bought a car from John about a month ago, he claimed was owned by his personal mechanic and had no issues whatsoever. I am well aware how buying used cars works.... No warranty, up to the buyer to make sure everything checks out. But since purchasing the car the alternator has gone bad, it burns oil, and my mechanic has pointed out that everything John had claimed when I asked about things were blatant lies.I get it, its on me for not taking it to my shop ahead of time, and used cars go wrong all of the time, but this was a complete scam, and its literally not possible that he was not aware of at least some of the things I have found. There are MUCH better dealers around the NEO area. Go support someone who at least makes some effort not to sell garbage. They deserve it.PS: I still have no title for it, and from the other reviews it looks these guys cant even handle that part of selling a car.
Great cars, good prices, nice people.
Great people, honest, good prices
When i asked around on where to get a used car for a teen at work. Three people suggested i visit John and Charlie. I never knew that i could get a car for so little. Ill be back when the next two need their first car.
Very honest and trustworthy!
The guys at NeoClassics are always straight shooters and tell it like it is.
Nice car
