Todd Rodgers was so knowledgeable and there was no back and forth while waiting for Todd to check with sales manager. He made the deal himself quickly and efficiently. Rippy Auto World excels at customer service. In 2015 my husband wanted an F250. We looked everywhere for one with low miles, in good shape and a reasonable price. We could not find one where we live. I looked at Rippy Auto Worlds Website, and fortunately they list the prices right there, so I knew I wanted to go there to look. When I got there I explained that the truck was a surprise for my husband and that I did not want to drive it because of its size. The Salesmen took me for a test drive he spent time showing me everything the truck did and answered my questions as my husband was very specific about the features the truck had to have. I decided that I wanted the truck but had no idea how to get it to our house, over an hour away and not ruin the surprise. I want everyone to know that they drove that truck to my house for me so that I could surprise my husband. I was so shocked at the level of customer service they gave me. I also want you to know that every year on my husbands birthday, they send him a Happy Birthday E-mail. You just dont find service after the sale like that. I would recommend Rippy Auto World To anyone looking for a New or used vehicle.
Professional staff, waited on me to get to Wilmington late on a Saturday afternoon. Had the car pulled up out front when I arrived and ensured no one else would get to it before me despite not putting any money down or complete intent to purchase. Solid dealership with great staff. Trade in was appraised and paperwork/offering done before I got back from test drive. Overall great experience and they looked after my kids! Highly recommend.

This was by far, hands down the best auto buying experience Ive ever had! We phoned in ahead of time to ask about a specific van they had on the floor. They were able to get the van pulled up and ready to test drive before we even got there. Justin met us right as we pulled on to the lot. He was Awesome! We test drove the car, and fell in love. When we got back from the test drive, Justin already had the numbers for the loan pulled up and ready! Rippy was able to provide us with a wonderful car for a wonderful price. Thank you again guys!!!
I went to multiple dealers around town and test drove many cars that I liked. Being a first time car buyer I became annoyed with process and the aggression of the salesman. Lee-Lee and Mike at Rippy made this process much easier compared to all of the other lots. Lee-Lee made me comfortable and did not pressure me into anything. I walked away very satisfied as I bought a great car but also left the lot with the right feeling and not one of stress or anxiety. Mike also was great with working to find the best possible rate and deal even when it had no benefit to him he still did extra work to give me the best deal.
I went there on a Saturday afternoon, just to look at a vehicle that I saw online, that first of all, was exactly what I wanted & couldnt because the car or the price. Went in and was stopped by Jake who did an awesome job! He was straight forward and made the process super easy. I found an ad for a car I was interested in that rippy had put online. I called to ask for the price because of course it wasnt listed. The salesman refused to give me any price unless they recorded my personal information so they could contact me if we get disconnected. When I refused and just asked for the price I was directly hung up on. If thats is the kind of customer service you can expect here then Run, not walk, away.

We purchased an 07 Envoy on veterans day weekend it had 85000miles on it and were told after inspection and cleaning from the dealer that the car was in great condition. After less then 60 days and 4000 miles on the car the car began to over heat and leak antifreeze. We called and spoke with the manager and were told there repair shop would gladly take a look at our expense. After having a mechanic friend take a look to try to narrow down the issue its a water pump problem which will cost us close to 200 dollars after parts and labor. We now get to fix a major problem on our vehicle bc it doesnt fall within 30 days
I went in there looking at a car, once I found out the price of it I knew it was out of my price range. The staff was adamant about running my credit, I told no because I knew it was out of my price range, I made it very clear that I did NOT give them permission to run it nor apply for any loans on my behalf. I left found a similar vehicle else where at a much lower price, had them run my credit info. I got approved at a ok interest rate, so the people at tippy call me back in, I go and there like we were able to get you approved for a loan your credit wasnt as bad as you thought but the note wouldve been $500 a month, which I knew in the beginning was out of my budget. I declined and headed back over to the other dealership and they were like so there are some discrepancies with your loan application, and the financiers want to raise the interest rate. Naturally I ask why, well Rippy had applied to that same bank but they had put my income so high that it conflicted with the application that the other dealership whom had my real information and permission to inquire so the financier was only willing to give me the loan as a high risk borrower and thus a significantly higher rate and monthly payment. After that experience I would never do business with Rippy because in my opinion they were high pressure salespeople who were willing to do anything to get a sale even blatantly disregarding my clearly stated wishes and they were fictitious with their documentation, again in an attempt to just sale me A car. They didnt take into consideration if Id be able to pay for the car or anything because even after I told them what I was trying to pay monthly, they continued without my permission and returned with a number that was almost $200 more than what I told them I was comfortable paying and still tried to pressure me into signing for that vehicle! Maybe it was the salesperson but I dont feel like they cared about my wishes nor personal best interest as a consumer. It couldve just been me but they really put me in a bad situation and it all couldve been avoided had they respected my wishes as a consumer not been so thirsty for a sale.

We went to look at a Suburban. Miranda called and asked us to come up as soon as possible as we were looking to trade our Ford Excursion. We drove 50 mins up there and this is what happened. First no one could even tell us how much the price of the vehicle was, no one would show us the inside of the vehicle or even offer us a test drive to make sure it was going to suit or needs. We drove 50 mins up there to sit in a parking lot while some guy comes out and looks over our vehicle asking us everything works in that thing, the four wheel drive, the ac, right? Well how about our questions? Does everything work in the Suburban, the ac, the DVD player? No one took the time to even acknowledge that. Miranda asked us to come up there and then she didnt even have time to talk to us. Our credit was not up to a quick approval and it was going to take some work. She said if they got the deal done they would deliver the vehicle and pick ours up. WHAT? I cant test drive the vehicle to make sure everything is the way it should be? Im supposed to take your word for it? NO. Not a good way to do business. WE chose not to follow through with financing there and will continue our search for a new vehicle.

I own my own business and I needed a larger car to fit my equipment. I dont have great credit and I thought there was no way I could get approved for the type of car I wanted. I searched on the internet and found several positive reviews for Rippy Automotive. I filled out an application online and received a prompt response from Sheca. She was very nice and helpful and got me started in the right direction. Sheca set and appointment for me and made the initial application very simple. Two days later I went to my appointment and spoke to Andy and Dave and I told them my situation. They were honest about what they could do for me, they didnt try to screw me over and they said they would do their best. I didnt have high expectations at all going in but less than an hour later I was approved for a 2014 Jeep Patriot. I NEVER thought I would be approved for a 1 yr old car with very low miles. As I spoke with Andy and Dave they said This is what we do. We work with people all the time with less than perfect credit and we have relationships with many banks I cannot recommend Rippy enough!! If you dont think you have good enough credit but you need a new car you MUST visit Rippy. They will put in the time and treat you honestly. Im sure they cant get 100% of deals done but if they cant get a deal done its not for lack of trying. Rippy will definitely be receiving ALL of my business in the future.

I bought a used truck from them,,,, and the very next day the engine light came on and i was told it was my problem now..... have whatever you are buying from them checked out, i was told car was sold as is, but an engine code less than 24 hours after purchase...... i mean really!!!! this just tells me the code was reset just to get the truck sold and the problem was put on my back.....BAD BUSINESS if you ask me
