Terrible. Car was hit while parked and insurance sent it here for repairs. Contacting them was horrible. They dont keep appointments and dont call back when they say they will. The people handling my car were rude and didnt provide any info about when it would be fixed.

They did a terrible job. Rusty the assistant manager messed up my vehicle, he didnt take time to write down what was wrong with my vehicle. He didnt care about doing his job. I had to get the manager involved just to get my vehicle fixed. Dont allow Rusty to help you. Just ask for Andy the manager to get your vehicle fixed right.

I never leave reviews but I feel like this one is well deserved. After being t-boned I brought my car here for repairs, since day one Scott Thomason has been the friendliest and most helpful person I have ever worked with. He has kept me updated and taken care of everything since I brought my car in. I’ve had terrible experiences at previous body shops and Scott made this process so much easier from the get go. I dropped my 2019 Chevy Cruze off at their Geico location on 740 peters creek park on 11/13 with my odometer at 12594 and when I picked my car up yesterday 11/19 I didnt notice the milage put on my car. I was reviewing my paper work and noticed that the milage didnt add up. My odometer was at 13020 miles. I understand driving a car to check their work or get it washed but 400 miles?! Im highly dissatisfied regardless of the quality work that was done. My car looks brand new but I never authorized them to take it for a joy ride. Ive already contacted my insurance company Geico and emailed the rep that took my car at the location. Im hoping something will come off this.

Took my 392 charger to get passenger door fix and rear panel. Decent damage. Took more than 2 weeks Over quoted date to be fixed. When I received my car the passenger rear door the one they replaced wouldn’t open. Had to fix myself and the detail was one of the worst I’ve seen and the color match wasn’t close at all I’m having to pay to repaint the whole car due to colors being off so much. The people was great to talk to but the work was poor. I do not recommend coming here.

Honest and friendly service

Friendly staff and probably fine for most people. Took my Terrain there after getting hit in the door by someone. Job took 3 days longer than quoted. The body panel fitment was spot on but the paint work was a little dull and had lots of orange peel. They did a great job of matching the color and blending it in with the rest of the paint. They used some chemical to prep the car for paint that bleached some of the color out of the black plastic cladding turning it chalky despite several attempts to restore it to black (car less than a year old). The car ended up getting bought back for mechanical issues so I didn’t lose any sleep over it nor asked for it to be corrected. Just wouldn’t go back for work again.

Always treated as the only customer there, although they are always busy. Rusty Kimmich is the man to see. Very friendly, honest and treats you like family. Highly recommend this shop

Whoever drives the lifted Toyota, should be fired. Cannot drive and about ran me off the road a few times. Please take action.Followed him afterwards. Parked in front of building on the right side if facing building. Very immature

This body shop is great. My mother wrecked her car and had to have it towed to their body shop. They worked with her insurance and would inform her what was going on with her car. They had it for four weeks but the car looks brand new. Great place.

I was shopping around to replace the belt moldings (window seals) on all 4 or my car door windows. I called Modern body shop to get a quote. They told me they were not able to give me a quote over the phone, so I had to show up in person to the body shop. After I showed up, they quoted me over $125 more than what another body shop did it for just down the road. They clearly did not win my business.

Our truck was T-boned by an uninsured driver. Brought it to Modern Body Shop for repairs. They did a good job repairing the damages. However, we need to take the truck back so they can either adjust or repair the running board which got bent completely down as a result of the accident. When we brought the truck home we took a level to both boards, the passenger side still needs adjusting. Just dont want to be without a vehicle for 2 1/2 weeks again! !

I worked with Devin Partin for my car repair and he was absolutely phenomenal. Really personable, and kept me informed the whole time. Id recommend him to anyone and trusted him with my 2017 Chevy SS. Being a car guy he not only took care of it, but appreciated what I had. Then, took care of it just like his own car. Great job.

My experience at Modern Body Shop in Winston is by far the best automotive business I have ever gone to (including other body shops, 3rd party auto service providers, dealers, etc etc). Andy and his team are outstanding. Everyone is very nice and extremely understanding. I recently had my Mazda CX-5 repaired; had two claims repaired at the same time for some moderate to serious damage to the front of my vehicle. The work started Friday Sept 6 and was completed Friday Sept 13. They texted me with updates frequently. My Mazda was returned to me not only with the damage fully repaired and pristine condition, but I swear the outside was shinier and the inside was cleaner than it has ever been! I was recommended this body shop by a co-worker and definitely recommend this shop to everyone who needs work done on their car.

I took my car in on Tuesday and picked it up on Friday as planned. Everyone one was very nice and helpful. The work looked great, and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I can only highly recommend their work.

The Modern Toyota dealership recommended that I take my 2012 Camry to the body shop to get it checked out for a leak in the trunk that allowed water to seep in. When I arrived at the body shop, four men who worked there were in the front office talking and did not acknowledge me when I walked in. When I told them what the woman at the dealership said, they acted like they didn’t want to come look at my car and were hesitant to help me. Finally, one man came out and looked at the car but then told me they were back logged and could not do anything with the car for three weeks. I found that the staff was hesitant to help me or believe what I told them and seemed to have a negative attitude. I took my car elsewhere and will not return to the Modern Toyota body shop.

1 Star is too many for the Modern Toyota body shop.They gave me an estimated cost and promised to use new parts. Although the price was not appealing, I chose to trust them. However, they used very low-quality used parts that are falling apart just after a few months. They lie easily and do not deserve the costumers trust.

I used Modern Body Shop - USAA shop as they are my preferred insurance body shop in the area. My experience was flawless. My car was not only returned more quickly than estimated, but all repairs were explained to me in detail and written documentation was provided for any future needs. Additionally, I received frequent updates via phone call, and when I picked my car up the inside was even cleaned out for me (vaccumed, wiped down, windows clean). Even though I had to use them for insurance, I would definitely tell anyone else in my situation to trust them, and would bring a car back here for any future repair needs. Thanks for making a stressful situation as painless as possible!

Progressive insurance had me take my vehicle in for an estimate after hitting a deer. Insurance company ended up totaling the vehicle and I chose to buy it back. When I went and picked up my vehicle the front grill was halfway put in with the edge clips not popped in, my light on the inside if my door panel wasnt even plugged in. They had rummedged through my entire vehicle, center console, glove box, and underneeth my back seat where I store hitch receiver, tow strap and mis. items. All the cards I had in the front pocket of my cup holders were dumpped in the floor board. Very unprofessional techs working there to rummage through a vehicle and half ass put it back together for customer to pick up.

Rusty Kimmich doesn’t deserve to work in that place so proud and arrogant that all I will say he made take my car somewhere else even for the fact that I use Toyota.

Jeff Is a very Rude Employee. Had Someone rear end me. Not my fault. Had my truck towed there for estimate per insurance claim. They knew it was insurance related and Attorneys involved. Jeff calls me tells me they cant fix the truck for what the adjuster wrote estimate for. I tell him to notify my attorney and insurance company at fault. He gets angry and hangs up on me. Way to go Modern Thats excellent business and customer service No words can describe the feelings i have. i just buried a family member and get hit on way to bury him. and now this. no wonder this country is the way it is. people like this.

If I could choose no stars I would have chosen it but I had to give one and I feel thats to much. In May of 2016 I had taken my 1997 Ford F-150 to Modern Body Shop 1020 Southpark Blvd. Winston Salem, NC 27127 after my wheel came completely off while driving on HWY 158 in Walkertown NC due to the negligence of Baitys Discount Tire Sales 1081 Salisbury Ridge Rd. Winston Salem, NC 27127 who had previously replaced the upper ball joints, the entire left side had to be replaced (wheel, hub assembly, rotor, lug nuts, caliber, body work to left driver side fender) to say the least. After days in the shop repairs were made costing $2,038.20. Before leaving Modern Body Shop after repairs was done I was given a full coverage warranty by Daniel Dillard. In fact I assumed I wouldnt need to use the warranty given the history of their work. 8 months later while snow plowing the same wheel came off again. I had the truck towed back to Modern Body Shop 1020 Southpark Blvd. Winston Salem, NC 27127 In what I hoped would be a easy process but instead they didnt want to honor the warranty. I was told by Daniel Dillard / Andy Williard that my aftermarket wheels and snow plowing is what caused it. I reached out to a rebuttal company who specializes in wheels and tire and was told that was in fact a false statement and that something else has to be going on. I reached back out to Modern Body Shop to speak with the owner/manager Andy Williard who stated that it ironic how the same wheel is giving you problems after 8 months driving over 6,000 miles and insinuated that I had deliberately done something to my truck, as if I would take the chance in killing myself led alone someone else! At this point Im furious and I mentioned getting a lawyer involved. He then told me hed call me back in an hour after talking with his coworker Daniel Dillard. When Daniel Dillard called back he started as a courtesy, he would take care of the labor if I purchased the parts. I didnt agree, especially after the service was supposed to be warrantied. I felt I shouldnt have to pay for something they claimed to have fixed.
