I purchased a used vehicle from salesperson Marina. Marina, and the manager Kevin, were great to work with. I had a trade in, and I was offered the amount I wanted without any haggling nor back and forth. From the time I took the test drive, signed paperwork, to driving away was around 2 hours. A faster process than I had expected.The vehicle I purchased was used and had an As Is Warranty. I understood this when I made the purchase and the possible risk associated. Not even 24 hrs after having the vehicle, the Check Engine light came on. I contacted the dealership to see if I had any options seeing I had the vehicle less than 24hrs. The used car sales manager Justin asked me to bring the vehicle back in for them to take a look. Justin went above and beyond to fix the issue and make things right. Bob King Mitsubishi had no responsibility as I knowingly bought the vehicle “as is”. I suspect the previous owner knew there was a pre-existing issue with the vehicle and that is why he traded it in. Justin, Marina, Kevin, and the entire Bob King team have a high level of character and genuine concern you don’t find in many businesses. I highly recommend Bob King Mitsubishi to anyone.Outstanding sales experience.

Now please keep in mind that the sales team is great and the service department had been pretty accommodating for the most part...but my last two visits really do call for an explanation because this may be indicative of a negative change happening in this organization. I brought my car in two months ago to replace a part that was put on incorrectly during the last oil change (the splash guard panel under the car was not reattached properly and came loose, caught on the road and was torn to shreds driving home on the highway). I got handed a $269.51 estimate to replace both coolant hoses and all the clamps because there is a coolant leak. Ok cool - show me where the leak is. The guy put my car back on the lift to try and tell me what he was seeing. (Now keep in mind that he never took off the splash guard, just pointed through the small opening in the bottom.) The leak is a very slow leak around one end of a hose because of a loose clamp. He continues to tell me I need to replace both hoses and all clamps. The conversation literally went as follows:So why am I replacing the hose?Because there is a leak.Ok but the hose is fine?Yes.And the issue is a single loose clamp?Yes.So why am I replacing the hose?Because there is a leak.Ok but why not just replace the clamp?That won’t fix the leak.But there is nothing wrong with the hose?There’s a leak.Now I may not be a “Mitsubishi mechanic” but logic tells me that it doesn’t take $269.51 to replace $60 worth of parts due to a $2 clamp being a little loose.So the mechanic clearly thought that the solution was to go into a hand-holding explanation about how coolant works because clearly, being a woman, the assumption was that I wouldnt know. So after five extremely awkward minutes of this (he provided a in-depth description about how the coolant container is now empty because he put the coolant in my car. Thank you for your dedication to detail) I finally get him to understand that I have a full working knowledge of cars and none of his unnecessary explanation answered my question of why they are recommending I replace two perfectly good hoses and the mechanic says well the hose is deteriorated.Ok cool. Now we are getting somewhere. Show me where is it deteriorated.They cant.Why?Because its on the inside where you cant see it.So NOW the issue is a slow leak around a single $2 loose clamp that requires a $269.51 replacement for $60 parts due to a mysterious deterioration on the inside of only one hose that only this mechanic has the special capability to see.Genuinely curious as to whether or not this conversation would’ve happened differently if my husband had been there because CLEARLY the mechanic thinks I was born yesterday. Because there is a leak isnt an answer. And assuming I know nothing about cars also isnt an answer to why I am being told to replace two perfectly good hoses and all the clamps because of a single loose clamp.*****Edit to Add: Since I wanted it on my vehicle service record that it was, in fact, just the clamp - I brought my car to Mavis Tire in Walkertown to have them look at a “coolant leak”. Didn’t give them any more context or background info. They came back and told me “looks like you just have a loose clamp.” and charged me $25 to put on a new clamp and coolant. Again I ask - why was I being quoted $269.51 for triple the amount of work than my car actually needed? And why is it that why I ask questions about why I am being lied to, I was talked down to by your lead mechanic?

I went into both the Mitsubishi and Hyundai store yesterday and I ran into possibly the best sales person I ever met. Not only were the sales staff friendly but the Management went out of their way to greet me. I stopped in to compare a few car with no intention to buy and them knowing that they were still very courteous to my wife and I. They almost changed my mind just bc of the service I received. I would highly recommend just going there for the car buying experience to see how it’s supposed to be. 5star all day from me.

I thought the buying process was fair and the people I worked with were very professional. All my questions were answered promptly and with sincerity. Samantha Stuart was my salesperson and conducted herself in a most professional way. She went over all the details of the vehicle and explained fully the purchasing process.Samantha also gave me a tour of the service department including specifics on the days and hours of operation and exactly where to come when dropping off the vehicle for service. Overall a great job by Samantha.I also worked with Angela Obi and she was fantastic as well. Angela was quite a joy to work with in the financing aspect of the vehicle. She went over everything with a fine tooth comb and presented me with great options. Angela is very professional in her job and is a great asset to your company.

Stopped by as a last ditch effort after Going to Modern Nissan, Toyota and Chevy with no luck just to see what they had! My sales woman Carter was amazing she listened and brought out an Elantra that I fell in love with! I left without the car because my dad didn’t like the numbers so I called back up there and told her the numbers I needed and within a few minutes the car was mine!

Very poor experience with general manager. He was rude, quoted us a higher price than promised in an email, was aggressive in front of our young daughter. When I said I was going to complain to his boss, he said he had no boss.We ended up buying two Mitsubishi’s from a competitor even though we are prior Bob King customers. Not sure what happened that week, but felt so disrespected as a customer.

Unethical business practice: after closing on purchase of a 2016 model with 16k miles, and upon delivery of the car, the salesman told us there was only one key fob. They failed to tell us that the key was missing prior to us wasting four hours going through the sale process. Then they refused to make good on providing standard equipment for the car (two keys). The sales manager basically told us we could take it or leave it. We left it and will never do business with this unethical dealership again.

Had to take my Mitsubishi in for a recall -first time Ive ever dealt with Bob King Mitsubishi. They are the only Mitsubishi dealership in W-S. Both Steve and Mark in the Mitsubishi service center were great. Very courteous, efficient. Good communication and explanation of what was done. My car was in an out in less time than anticipated. They shuttled me to and from work, which was a pleasant ride as well with Wayne. The only reason I am giving them four stars and not five is because of the confusing way their parking lot is laid out. I did not know which building was the Mitsubishi service center since there are so many. No signs. Thanks guys! I will return.

Unfortunately, this was my worst experience. General manager (Dominic Scruggs) talked as if I couldnt afford things I was requesting and also pulled my credit without my knowledge. Me being a first time buyer, I was unaware that the questions I was answering would lead to a credit pull. However he was very aware. When he starting shoving numbers and leading to talking about buying the car, the situation became frustrating because I never made up my mind on buying yet. Mr.Scruggs gave me a time limit, on when I could take home the car and test drive it. Which was odd because all 5 of my families cars perviously bought from this company, we allowed at least a couple of days to take it home and test drive. I felt like I was getting pressured into buying that day. After the short exchange with Mr. Scruggs, he seemed uninterested in me and just stood up and walked away. Mr. Scruggs then continued to have the sales guy walk back and forth to talk to me, rather then finishing our conversation. My first car (1996 Maxima) and second car (2006 Altima) now being my last car, was bought from this dealership. My family has been loyal customers, but after the treatment I experienced it is safe to say that we will no longer be buying from this company (BOB KING MITSUBISHI/ BOB KING HYUNDAI) especially from this location (BOB KING MITSUBISHI 1635 Silas Creek Pkwy Winston Salem, NC 27127). I do not blame the sales guy (Daniel Joyce) because he is new and hasnt even been there for a month. Proper training and more training is needed, as he was unaware of certain things.

The parts and service department is horrible! Brought In a Evo X for diagnostics and after 3 misdiagnosis on it after buying the part 3 different times same item, they told me that I would have to send the part back and pay them for it directly and have them install it! No one would take responsibility for the actions and now Im out out 2000 bucks! The techs here are parts changers at best! I took it into my own hands and found a can bus error and that was the reason the part would NOT work and was throwing codes! Sad I can use third party software and find a issue a dealer cant even find with factory software. Beware!

So, first off, be prepared to NEVER be able to get a timely service done. The group doesnt support mitsubishi techs so there are only spotty days when a Mitsubishi can actually be serviced here...I typically call a week in advance and still cant get in. Steve is courteous about things and is at least informative about what he does/doesnt know. The service has, thus far, been issue-free though. Caveat: I have only needed recall type repairs and basic regular maintenance.

My wife and I were on vacation and our cars CVT transmission was acting really badly. Their Mitsubishi Master Tech said we needed a new transmission and the service writer said itd take a week to get the transmission and 2 days to put it in. Long story short, the transmission came in fast and the Master Tech stayed late to put it in for us. Came in on a Monday and they got it back to us Friday afternoon. Couldnt be more pleased with the guys there! Very thankful for the rush job!

My wife and I were in the search of a used car at the time we visited Bob King. And our experience was absolutely ridiculous. The two sale people that we delt with were extremely unprofessional and just wanted to joke around and cut up with each other. My wife and I felt really uncomfortable being around these so called gentlemen and we also felt like we were not taken seriously. On top of that the sales manger was even more unprofessional and rude and kept blaming my wife for the reason for not buying a car from them to where my wife had to walk out. Then when we told them we didn’t agree on the so called numbers they had offered us the sales person response was “so your going to tell me your not going to walk out of here tonight with one of our cars” that was enough and was my last straw. They were extreamly pushy and over bearing. We went the next day and bought a car from another dealer. We will never deal with Bob King again.

Buyer beware! I was recently in to view three used vehicles on their lot. Having had prior experience with picking out damaged and wrecked vehicles, it was quickly apparent that two of the three had been involved in either an accident or government seizure. One of the vehicles still had paint overspray on the inside of the windshield. When I pointed it out to them, they very rudely gave me an Auto Check report which showed no accidents. This was after they claimed it to be a local trade in. Unfortunately for them, Auto Check showed it was not local and had been sent to auction a couple months prior.Please be wary of what you buy from these people. I am not the only one who has pointed these flaws out and for a business to continue to try and push people into a car that isnt going to last is down right wrong, especially at the prices they advertise them at. If you want to sell a wrecked car, thats fine, but be sure you list it as being wrecked, even if it was an unreported accident.

Well first off, two weeks ago I ordered a set of timing cover seals and new timing cover for my Mitsubishi Montero. I paid bout $96, and was told i got all the seals needed. This turned out to be false. I got the cover, with the new seals, and then 3 other seals. I was missing several others, but got what i paid for.Then today. I was missing a woodruff key for my crankshaft. I searched online to no luck. I called the parts department, and told them what I needed. I mention I really need a part #. The response I received was not the best thing to be telling me. We cant give out part numbers. IT really ticked me off. Just two weeks ago, the SAME gentleman was rambling part numbers off of my order to make sure I got what I needed as requested by me, before I even paid for them. Not that it matters now since I didnt get everything I needed. So, somebody needs to make up their mind.I am a Mitsubishi enthusiast. Very active on the Montero group on facebook. I really wanted a part # to help my fellow enthusiast in case they needed to come across such need. So with a little more research, I found it, and big thanks to Mount Airy Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep. They ordered it for me. No hassle, and will have it Thursday morning.By the way, if Im spending my good hard earned money. Some courtesy and help would be appreciated!
