My family was looking for a used hybrid for our day to day driving needs. I came across a Honda hybrid online that had a great price point! Mario assisted us in our purchase. There was no pressure to buy and negotiations were simple and quick! This was a great experience compared to other used car lots I had worked with before. Only thing to note…. If you are paying in cash for your vehicle and not financing…. They will not take a card for purchases over 5k and there is a 4% service charge. They also do not like personal checks. It would be best to come prepared with a certified or cashiers check.

New era has a huge selection and Kasey was very attentive. We got a great car at a below market price with no hassle. When we choose the CC Gretchen had all the paperwork ready to go. Will recommend to anyone.

My husband and I bought a car from there about 2 weeks ago. The first weekend we had it we ended up spending around 2k on a new oil line to be put in and they told me I needed to get my transmission looked at, I took my vehicle in today and they told me my transmission is bad and to rebuild the transmission is another 5500. I haven’t even driven this car 100 miles since I got it. I called and left a complaint with the person who answered the phone and he said the owner would call me back. The owner basically said it was my fault and made no attempt to rectify the situation. As you can imagine I’m a bit peeved to be out over 9k and have nothing to show for it. My suggestion, save your money and buy elsewhere. I’ve never had such a horrible experience in my life!

Update: 6 days later and I’m already at a mechanic paying 1k in repairs. They definitely got over on me, never again. Buy with a warranty, at least a 30 day. And take it to a mechanic and have it checked out before purchasing.Day of: This was such a fun experience!! This was my first time purchasing a car and Mario was so helpful and patient with me as I made a thoughtful choice. If you want a great deal and awesome customer service, stop by and ask for Mario!

I purchased a specific car I had been looking for for a while (BMW E46 Touring model, specifically a 325iT), and the price was right. It was an older car so I expected a few issues here and there. What I received was one of the best maintained older vehicles I have ever laid eyes on. I know it’s partially a credit to the previous owner, but the fact that New Era sold me such a well maintained vehicle at such a great price has earned them one happy customer!They were also great to work with and gave me tons of details on the car, even though I was purchasing it over the phone and having it shipped to my house. They were great to work with and response time was phenomenal! I received probably 40 videos and photos of the vehicle over the course of me asking just a few quick questions about it!

SEE EDIT AT BOTTOM!!!!Bought an 08 Subaru outback last week. Mario was friendly and helped address a concern I had with her car. He even drove it up on a ramp for me to look at it closer. All in all a week and a day in and Im enjoying it. Although I am waiting on a call from Jake (the owner) to get an issue with the catalytic converter looked at and discussed due to the check engine light coming on 3 days later. But overall, I enjoyed my experience with them hopefully will be getting an answer and help soon.About two weeks later.... Still havent head anything back and Ive called 4 other times with no call back. Took the Subaru to a certified Subaru mechanic. Oil rings are burnt, gas in the oil, catalytic converter bad and sensor was bypass.... Light Knocking from passenger side engine bay, 2,387 miles Ive driven it. Oil was being changed, engine ate 75% of oil it had. Still nothing from Mario of Jake (the owner) needed a reliable car for work due to that I travel (healthcare field covid) my advice, dont go here. They cant even call back and right a wrong or help with a question. I still do not have my tag from them for the car and the DMV has sent me my registration. Turning these guys in

Buying a used car is a scary task. You try to get the best quality you can get for your money, but there are no warranties in used car buying and that is the chance we all take when buying a used car. You hear nightmares that some used car dealerships prey on buyers by using no warranty as a way to sell subpar products to consumers and some used car dealers truly try to provide the best used cars they can find and are honest about what they know about the cars they sell but there is still a chance that things can go sour. When I purchased my new to me vehicle from New Era Motors this past weekend, my experience went from okay/good and accelerated to nightmare all in a matter of minutes and then the wonderful folks at New Era Motors took my nightmare and turned it into a great experience. I can honestly tell you that they do care about their customers and they want their customers to have a wonderful experience and be happy with their purchases. I would especially like to thank Jessica for her help. We all have to do the best with what we have and while some folks can afford new shiny cars with 10 year warranties and all the fixings, many folks are like me and its a huge deal to spend a $100 much less $1000s of dollars on a car. Its good to know that there are people out there that care. Also Mario is pretty awesome too! Thank You

They have good customer service skills. Nice looking cars. watch out when you buy a car from them you drive it one day the next day the check engine light comes on. They buy the cars do a little something to make sure the check engine light goes off. to me I think they cheat people out if they hard earned money. so be careful I only had my car one day. And now I got to spend money to get the check engine light off.

We waited until now to post a review about New Era Motors to allow enough time for a fair and complete assessment of our experience as a customer. We bought two cars at the same time for our teens first vehicles a little over a month ago. Both vehicles have high mileage which is to be expected on our budget. However, both vehicles were priced fairly and in very good condition for vehicles of this mileage and age (2013/146k & 2014/158k). The entire transaction was smooth down to receiving the permanent tags and titles. This shows the staff does not delay submitting sale info to DMV or forwarding permanent tags to the purchaser once they receive them. Ben was extremely professional and easy to do business with. New Era Motors strives to run an honest business in an industry with many shady practices. They will be my first stop next go around for another vehicle!

We were stranded in Virginia, as our transmission went out in our Ford Pickup. We called Mike Slater from our hotel room in Virginia and he was pleasant on the the phone. We drove an hour and a half from Dublin, VA to Winston Salem, NC and found New Era Motors. Mike was very honest, friendly and helpful, kind of like an old friend you have known all along. He gave us keys to a 2007 Saturn Outlook told us to take it up on the big road 52 and check it out. Also drive it around other car lots and look at other cars, so we did. We were gone with his Saturn for about an hour. Upon returning he had $6000 marked on the windshield, he took an offer of $5500.00. We were very happy. We have put over 1200 miles on the Saturn and we are now back in Florida. We are very pleased with our Saturn and very happy with the salesmanship and courtesy of Mike and New Era Motors. Mike, you did say you would take me to Burger King for lunch, next time I am in Winston Salem. I am going to hold you up to that! Rich. Thank you Again!
