David was fantastic too. I didnt want a warranty at all because of the extra cost but after talking through it, i can to realize the importance!
Man if i could give six stars I would have. This experience was really cool. Second time in the past 4 months my wife and I have purchased a car. Both from Modern. Her car was from Modern Infinity in Greensboro. I purchased my truck from Nick Restrepo at Modern Nissan in Winston. I showed up early on Labor Day. The vehicle wasnt sitting in the lot, like the wonderful world wide web had said it would be. Nick met me at the door before they even opened. I told him what I was looking for, and he had to do some checking. He found the vehicle at Modern Toyota. Modern had recently acquired it, and it wasnt yet available for purchase. We did some paper work so I could tie it down until it was ready to purchase. The Truck needed a little TLC. I asked that Modern replace the bumper since it had a crack in it. Nick agreed and said he would get the bumper replaced and get the truck detailed and I would be ready. Well Modern not only replaced the Bumper, but they also put four new tires on it, replaced the shocks and struts, and gave it one heck of a detailing. Nick thank you so much for the hard work. I love the truck. This is my second Frontier. First one I got 330,000 miles on. I will be back. Do yourselves a favor and go Visit Nick at Modern in Winston. Thanks Modern and Thank you Nick.

Daniel Ceballos and Miguel Lara were especially welcoming, and they worked hard to get me into a nicer, newer ride than I expected with better financing terms than my credit union offered. My boyfriend recently purchased a vehicle from a different Modern location, and I must say, we are now Modern customers for life! They take the dread out of visiting a car dealership!
Parking lot sucks but the people that work there are amazing! Went in with a set monthly payment and somehow Nick Restrepo made it possible! David Hamilton did an amazing job getting me the extra coverage on my Rouge at an affordable price. Thank you Modern Nissan for making this happen for me and my family. The person I was on the phone with to schedule the work had an attitude.It took a long time to get help when I got there and pulled under the carport and there definitely could have been better practices with check in.Aside from that, the experience was great. The rental car was perfect.The work was done quickly and right.The quotes I got for other services were on the high end of normal.
My car was done with the service and no one let me know it was done. It was parked in the area that’s ready and done with the service. 25 minutes later I had to ask why I wasn’t told it was ready and he wanted to say it wasn’t when I can clearly see it in the parking area when service is done. Always had good service at Modern Nissan but this one was a slight flop.
Really appreciated being immediately greeted upon pulling up - and walked through what needed to be done...what will be done. I have to admit...this was the best interaction Ive had there. Great!

Scheduled my car to get serviced, the soonest appointment they had was three days away. Took time off of work to take them my car only for them to tell me that it can take up to 2 days to diagnose my car and that they did not have any technicians available the day of my appointment. I will not be bringing my vehicle back, they really need to get it together. Terrible customer service, extreme lack of consideration for the inconveniences caused.
I returned because there was a recall on my car and the part (that was ordered) had came in. I received a call, and an appointment was set up for me. Upon arrival I was told it would be finished around noon, but they were fast, I think everything was finished around 10:30a so I had no complaints. Very nice, and fast experience.

Amazing customer service! I went in clueless as to which car I wanted and Maria Paula did an excellent job guiding me the entire way and giving me plenty of options (within my price range) to pick from! She allowed me to test drive and I couldnt have done it without her help! I love my Altima!! she even went out of her way to lay a red carpet leading to the drivers door after purchasing my car! Even after my purchase, she followed up with me making sure that everything was good with my car! Now thats what you call a great salesperson!! :)) She definitely made me feel welcomed every step of the way.
I scheduled an oil change and asked to have my A/C checked, as it doesn’t blow cold air, and have my trailer plug in checked due to the lights on my trailer not coming on. When I arrived for my appointment I was informed that I’d have to leave my truck for a couple of days so they could do diagnostics. I wasn’t told I’d have to leave my truck when I initially scheduled it and therefore didn’t coordinate transportation.
I was shown to a clean and socially distance prepared waiting area. I was kept informed of the work progress. I needed a part and my service manager located it at their warehouse and offered to get and install it if I had time. He also noticed that my car was due for inspection in July. He mentioned that it could be done 2 months early and said they could do it while I was there that day & it would save me an additional trip. I am very impressed with their service❣️
I have been coming here for the last four years. Today is my last visit! There have been more times than not that there is always an issue. I made an appointment over a month ago for a repair. I brought my car in at 8:05. I was told the job would take between 4-6 hours. I am thankful I had a friend come and get me and bring me back. It was 5:15 when my was finished! My patience is done. I will not be returning!
Finally getting around to writing this review.Brandon Rubeck--one of the attendants at this station, a station that Ive used for over a decade with impeccable service--and I have a long and stained history. Despite this, he set aside that pain and gave precise and professional care to my vehicle with explicit attention to detail. He ensured I wouldnt soon crash with a broken axle, and even took my coupon when he didnt have to.Such professionalism and quality care is undoubtedly worthy of a full five stars. This facility goes above and beyond to take care of its customers, and while I remain in this state, I wouldnt trust my vehicles maintenance with anyone else.
Ralph Lusk was extremely helpful he actually noticed my car needed to be inspected and promptly made sure that I was taken care of as well as helping my fiancé and I find a DMV facility close by so we could update our registration. I’m so very thankful to Ralph he made a stressful day go much smoother.

Stopped just to inquire about a 40th anniversary edition Maxima. There wasnt one on the lot but they found one in Tennessee and went and picked it up the next day just for me to test drive. There were no promises given that I would purchase the car. After test driving it, and some conversation between the salesman, sales manager and myself, I drove the car home. They are very helpful and professional. I love my car and I love the fact that its the only one in our county. It is an elusive ride that other Nissan dealerships said they couldnt find for me but Modern went above and beyond to put me in my choice car. Thank you guys.
I have to say that I was extremely hesitant about buying from a dealership based on past experiences. As luck would have it Del-Carlos Harrington was my sales person and I was so pleasantly surprised. He is a consummate professional, knows his job inside and out and truly goes above and beyond to make the experience a positive one. I can only speak for myself, but high pressure tactics do not work for me. Someone following me around and breathing down my neck make me leave. Mr Harrington was respectful when I told him that I had a strict budget to adhere to. I highly recommend seeking him out should you be in the market for a vehicle.
We have used this dealer for our last 3 cars and the service has gotten worse. We will never go through them again. We recently bought a certified preowned car and we started having issues 2-3 months later. The car is still covered under the factory warranty and they refused to fix the issue but stated if the car wasnt under the warranty they would. This is the most twisted dealership I have ever worked with and we will no longer buy anymore cars with them. The deal they gave us on the car as well was an awful deal and we actually lost more money going through them.
Typically I have a great experience. But today, I’ve decided I don’t want to ever come back here again. I was misquoted the price for my service. Then upon picking up my vehicle…I wasn’t even given my key. It was a complete inconvenience….I love my vehicle, but I’ve decided to leave Nissan family because I don’t want to ever come back here again.

Went to Modern Nissan to have my 2019 armada checked for a battery drain. Rather than do a VIN check for recalls, they offered me a diagnostics option that would have taken a long time and cost a lot of money. I got an oil change and tire rotation and went home. Found a recall code online from March of 2020 that addresses an issue with the on board VVT computer not shutting down when the car is off. A simple one hour reprogramming would have solved my problem. Went to a different location to get this done and all good now.
Went to trade in a car and get a newer model of a specific car of 2 choices and ended up going with the better choice I originally picked out! Overal outstanding experience. Worked with me very well. Met me halfway with my asking amount. Highly recommend this Nissan dealership over Van York Nissan. Loved the Key chains I got with Modern on them as well! Nice finishing touch!

I want to give a huge SHOUT OUT to Maria. She was pleasant, prompt, and professional on the phone Monday evening. Took a 3 minute walk through video of the Yukon XL and sent it to me before I even woke up Tuesday morning. Reserved the car for me to test drive after work on Tuesday afternoon. Delivered it to my house Wednesday at 5pm after I got off work to save me an hour trip to Winston-Salem. No long back and forth conversations of negotiating like every other experience Ive had with buying cars, this was simple the BEST experience of car buying Ive ever had!! We originally went to see a pre-owned Subaru but upon arriving realized we did not want it. I dont appreciate being coached by service personnel to provide a certain score in order form them to look like they are doing their job. This has happened twice at the Winston-Salem Location on University Parkway. I will not be bringing my car back there if i am going to constantly be bothered and coached on giving someone a score they may not deserve

Compared to other dealers I have interacted with in the Triad area Modern Nissan in Winston was without a doubt the best experience I had. I waited 2 hours for an oil change in the morning and that was with an appointment. That was also after I had an appointment a couple of days before that I left because it was going to be at least 2 and a half hours. I couldnt wait that long that day.

Our sales consultant, Lynley Singvongsay, was friendly, relaxed, personable, and helpful from the start of our search to the finish — and even following our purchase. 😊 All the rest of the staff, whether working with us directly or not, were also friendly and sought to help however they could. We would come here again for future purchases.
Well, when I made an appointment I believed that since I made an appointment that when I got there they would focus on me but when I got there there was a line. I had to wait about 15mins before they got to me which was frustrating. Next after diagnosing my car they just told me everything that could be fixed which bothered me because the way they said it made it feel like it all had to be done today and not wait. Next, I was told the wrong waiting time twice, first when I called they said it would take an hour but after I got there they told me it would take about two hours. After I waited two and a half hours I checked back in and they told me they were still working on it. It took them 3hours 45mins for them to finish and that was after diagnosing my car so all in all I got there at 9:15 am and I couldnt leave till 1:45 which is a grand total of 4hours and 30minutes. So overall I felt my time was taken for granted and the services were slightly overpriced.
Decided to look into the Rogue and was not disappointed. The minute I stepped on the lot Maria Rivera was there to help me and answer my questions. I told her exactly which one I wanted which was on another lot and she had it at Modern of Winston Salem today and I drove it home. I couldn’t have asked for a better sales rep. She’s very personable and listens to your needs and wants! I highly recommend her!!

I called on a Monday to get a price for 60000 mile service on my vehicle. The customer service rep couldnt tell me what all was needed, so I asked her to quote me oil change, tire rotation and transmission flush. She told me the price was roughly about $280 and the total with fees should be a bit over $300. I thought that was very reasonable and had her schedule an appointment for the following day. I took half a days vacation and drove 50 minutes from southeast Greensboro. I waited about 20 minutes in line be checked in, causing me to be 10 minutes late for my appointment time. I was taken into an office to go over the services to be performed and the guy had over $950 worth of recommended services for 60000 miles displayed on his computer. I declined everything but the services I requested the day before. The new displayed price was over $450. I explained about the quoted price and he said that the people answering phones are for the entire Modern network and dont know the specifics of each dealership. I spoke with the service manager before leaving and he said he would speak with the team to ensure that they supply more accurate info in the future. I left without any services being done and no sincere apology.

The people working in the service department are very nice and personable. I was given a 2 hour window for my car to be ready and it was done in about 1.25 hours. I was approximately 50 miles from needing an oil change and the technician suggested that I get it done while I was there. I had forgotten that I receive free oil changes there, so it was a pleasant surprise not being charged for it. Modern Nissan is my go-to place for service.

We never felt pressured by the salesperson or his manager. They respected our wishes to not wear a mask by setting up an outside office. Very patient with our questions and desire to see many different options. Did not require the salesperson to accompany us on the test drives.
