I had some doors made by them have not picked them up yet. I so far have had a good experience with them. The person that I was dealing with was very knowledgeable with his job.

Went to a store in Winston-Salem and Rural Hall did not have vinyl siding I was looking for, went to Southside Bargain found what I needed.

They have beautiful lumber and the employees were so sweet and friendly. I will definitely be getting my lumber from here from now on.

Rude, prejudiced and RACIST!I went to look for some doors earlier today and was appalled by the treatment we received from the front desk person. I wish I knew his name, but he was the older white man with glasses at the front desk. He must have thought I did not speak english because he kept rolling his eyes when I was talking to my construction guys that I took with me to help me pick up the materials. They were latinos and did not speak english, so I was talking to them in spanish making sure I was purchasing the right materials. Well, the old man was annoyed and was short in his responses when I asked him a question. His entire demeanor said it all. He put his arms on his waist and asked me what I wanted. When I told him what I needed, he rudely replied they did not carry that. After going back and forth with him, explaining what I needed, he corrected me and told me what the correct name of the door I was looking for was. To which I replied I did not work there and building materials was not my area of expertise; therefore I was not familiar with the proper terminology. Once he realized I did speak english and was not going to let him walk all over me, his tone changed. I got news for you old man, I not only speak english, I also use social media very well and have no problem sharing my experiences for the world to see. You are a racist fool who now feels empowered to mistreat minorities who, by giving you their business, help put food on your table. You owe them the decency of treating them with dignity and respect. Next time, be careful, because the next person may record your interaction and you may end up all over the news!

Been to Southside Bargain Center several times and always find something to take home. LOTS to choose from and friendly, knowledgeable staff to help you find what you need.
