If you havent gone here you absolutely have to go if you want a happy and joyful life!! They have a gazillion flavors and specialty ones with gummies on the top, you can mix flavors and get a ball of creamy vanilla ice cream 🍦in the middle too. The people are always beyond adorable and friendly and they have fun stuff for people/kids to do in the front. They are not stingy with the syrup either! I wish I had taken pictures instead of mauling my Pelican ice as if I were Tom Hanks on Castaway and hadnt had anything cold and icy for 5 years....next time...probably tomorrow

Our favorite weekend treat. Best snowcones around and lots of flavor options. I like to order mine with light sauce, and they do good with that. Ice is fine shaved like we prefer.

A lot of places say they are New Orleans style for one thing or another, but this is the real deal. Its the ice shaving machine they use, the same one thats used all over New Orleans for sno-balls. Lots of flavors and lots of options. It was good to the last drop, and if I wouldnt have gone into a sugar coma, I would have gotten another one. Next time. And there will be a next time.

A great place for an snowball, they have a whole list of flavors including toothpaste. Well its a good place to hangout as well, they have places out front and at the back for seating. Parking is limited which might be a problem. Service is average not too fast not too slow. The snowballs have different sizes. A regular cost abour 4 dollars. A great treat for summer

Our first time visiting and will not be the last. The environment was awesome for the kids I love their setup with games and a sandbox. The staff were super pleasant and helpful because they have so many flavors lol. I love that it’s kid friendly. Thanks for bringing the hidden Gem to Winston!!!

I am leaving 3 stars because this is one of the best deserts in the world and my entire family has been going here a long time, but as far as safety and the area it is in, is just not safe anymore...i had a uncomfortable and unsafe experiencethere and sadly it affected the kids around at that moment and that made me very upset because now our children cannot make happy memories at pelicans like I did, due to all bad language and behavior and discrimination from being on that side of town, Until there are safety measures to follow to be there around CHILDREN.I will never jeopardize ANYchilds safety to go on the side of the town ever again..Thanks

I recently discovered this little gem and Im so glad this place opened up in Winston, though my waistline: not so much. It is walk-up service, but there are picnic tables and even a sandbox out front to help keep the kids busy. The owner is very nice and always willing to accommodate my special requests. He even remembered my order after I took a 3 month break from going up there.Pelicans is a great place to take the kids for a treat on a hot evening, or to just stop by and grab a little treat for yourself :) I believe they will even come to serve snowballs for birthday parties.

It was very flavorful. I needed more syrup which she gave me with no problem. Great service but one gummy was 25 cents, when I thought it would have been free or more in the cup.

Friendly staff, quick service, and great tasting snoballs. There are so many combinations of flavors, you could have something different every visit for years. The one problem I see is the location. Its not terrible, but at the moment parking is pretty limited. Maybe theyll expand the parking.One recommendation I have for customers is to request your order to-go. Theyll give you a bigger cup so you dont have to worry about your snoball melting and falling off. Great for younger kids too.

Ice is awesome, just like NOLA. Big hit with my daughter and wife.
