A great place for used books. Sometimes they can be a little overpriced but its not hard to find a good deal and there is definitely a lot to choose from. I have been happy with the condition of every book I have purchased. I have also sold to them and while I would of course love more for the books/movies/games I have sold they give a reasonable amount for me having to do almost no work to sell them. Process is very easy bring in box(es) of books and they look through it all and will call you when it is done.

Loved this place! This bookstore is huge and offers both new and used books. The prices of the books ranged from extremely cheap to full sticker price for brand new books. I really appreciated that there was a little something for everyone ranging from books, games, music and other little knickknacks. Everything was nice and clean and the staff was super friendly. Ill definitely be back on a day where I have much more time.

Spent over 200 on books. And they couldnt give us a bag to carry them out. Going green doesnt mean you can lower standards like that. Do i get a bag at 500 dollars? Let us know.

If you are looking for an actual book store, 2nd and Charles is the place for you. If you are a fan of comic books then 2nd and Charles is the place for you. My son and I have been going there for years and have never had a bad experience.

Heaven, the games are cheap, they have a great selection of manga, they have cute plushies. Best store, i wish I lived closer.

Like gamestop, they dont offer very good prices, but thats kind of expected for a second hand place. Other than that, nice books, games, movies, etc. Peaceful and quiet.

Amazing store, always well sorted, and very friendly staff. Deducted a star because they used to close at 10pm and now they close at 8pm, people that get off work late like me now dont have a chance to really browse the store during the week.

This place is ENORMOUS. They offer new/used books and dvds, board games and all kinds of pop culture collectibles. Much like any other large book retailer, the prices on new products are a little steep.

My family and I went for manga but I was presently surprised to find a Purple Rain vinyl record!! There was a FREE bin out front of the store where I found SAT Prep books and a great cook book. Of course we bought manga as well!

One of a kind store with super friendly staff!Frequently updated with novelty items and new books while carrying retro items and used books at bargain prices. However, dont expect anything more than small change when trading in even your most precious books or games- you will not get anything near the original value :( Unfortunately, online shopping is not available for the store which makes it hard to compete with other retailers or websites who usually have more sales and lower priced books.

What a fun place to visit! Has something for all ages and hobbies. Even those the like vintage items. And they even have new items for those that like to stay current. It was my first trip and will definitely be going back.

Cool store w cool things. I enjoyed how much my boy found amusing in the likes of comics & magazines. I left with a couple cool t-shirts. Staff chill & attentive.

This is my first visit at 2nd &Charles and I must say it has something for everyone...books, toys, musical instruments, records video games....and a section for kids...i will be back to spend more time

Good for books, and little else. The vinyl and music section is of course a joke and hasnt been restocked for months. I remember asking an employee about a rare record a few years ago and he acted completely clueless as if he could care less and was punching his time card to clock out. There was one older worker here that actually cared when I tried to checkout once and he was helpful mentioning they semi-regularly restock at the end of a season/summer/fall/what have you. But you have to be very lucky and keep checking.The used video game section appears to be dwindling as well. Maybe Covid hit them harder than anticipated but they are definitely not restocking. I have no idea.

Great book store with a lot to offer from graphic novels, comics, kids books, full series. Even t shirts, games and accessories to pop culture items.If you dont shop with a bag then bring one for yourself. They dont keep any plastic bags on hand and only sell reusable tote like bags, so if that is something you dont want to spend money on be aware you may have to just hold your own books. Otherwise this place has great staff and a nice atmosphere.

My first time here and I love it! Im a book person but, Im also a video game/anime person and the merch here is just awesome! Think about GameStop but, better and with books/records in it. Thats what this place is!

Pretty good selection, incredibly kind staff. Main problem with the store is just how cluttered it can feel, and the fact that buybacks seem to have a waiting period of a week nowadays. If you’re looking for a very specific piece, be it a book, video game, board game, etc, go ahead and grab it here, but it’s a little too big a store to just lose yourself in. Hope they can organize a little better.

Always able to find what I need and the prices are great since theyre mostly used books and movies. They have a plethora of book sections and movie genres and even have a section for kids! There is something here for everyone!

Friendly staff but some of their items are over priced. Its kind of like a mix between Books A Million and thrift store. There are really good stuff that you can find but some mark ups are crazy.

RUDE manager. Pricing is horrible. They will offer you .50 cents for an item, then turn around and place it on the shelf with a $15 - 20 price tag. I understand making a profit, but come on. You can find ANYTHING in this store significantly cheaper on eBay.

Found some books I had been searching for at a great price. Store offered a fantastic selection. Plenty of free parking. Clean restrooms. Lots and lots of books, comics, movies and games. Plenty of fandom items as well, Potter, DC, Marvel, Star Wars, etc. We also sold books and were happy with price offered. You can sell items for cash or in store credit. Did take about an hour for staff to go through our stack of books and make an offer.

This is by far one of the coolest places Ive ever been. Anything youre into, they have cool stuff to fit any nerdy obsession. Theyre book selection is fantastic.

I came here for their vinyl record selection, and it was much bigger than I thought it would be. Had a nice used selection, and there were even some bootlegs in the mix. Really impressed. Prices were fair, well definitely come back.

In this digital age its great to be able to walk through a store full of printed books. While they are a second hand store, theres also a selection of new items and the prices are usually comparable with those found online. The discount shelves are awesome and definitely worth the trip. They have CDs, DVDs, and even musical instruments, including guitars, and some woodwinds and brass. Oh, and a large selection of comic books and graphic novels. You can definitely get your nerd on in this store. 😁

My main goal: FUNKOS. Yes they have them. Yes they have good selection. No, some series you may really want you may not complete it. Yes, worth it however to come and collection haul! Love this place.

Nice selection of new/used books and collectibles. Tons of great geeky gear. Some of the collectibles can be priced a bit high, but there are deals to be had. Clean, no hovering sales staff, and a fun way to kill some time wandering the stacks!

Does have used items and you can buy cds and dads in bulk. Lots of brand new items (books, games, music, etc) at full price.

An awesome store with everything from video games, retro consoles, comics, books, musical instruments, and pop culture items. It is like Game Stops older more mature brother. You can sell items here as well. I love coming and browsing their stuff, I always end up finding some little thing that catches my eye that Ive been looking for. Great place to find those hard to find collectibles or just kill an entire afternoon!

A great used bookstore (that also has WAY more that used books.) They have new releases, games, puzzles, calendars, instruments, tshirts and so on. I do a lot of my Christmas shopping here as they have something for everyone

Fantastic used book store!! I love going here for books for my classroom as well as for myself. They have a great selection of books here and at a great price! I only dont really like that they mix in new full price copies of books too.

One of the largest used book stores I have ever seen with good prices and selection and the staff goes out of their way to help you. My kids love the video game trade in program and always get more than we think they will in store credit or cash. We could spend hours there.

Been going to this place for over ten years. Amazingly varied selection and really good prices! They have tons and tons of books, CDs and records, DVDs and Blu-rays, video games from all kinds of different consoles, musical instruments, and much more. And their quality standard is very high, everything is used but is in great condition.
