Troy is always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about everything!! The store is small, but always clean and very organized. One of my favorite comic shops!!

Stopped in here for the first time on my way home from work. Surprisingly spacious store that has a huge selection of back issues. There is another comic book store across the street, but they only seem to focus on current issues. Flashback had a full selection of new issues too.The store employee (might have been the owner) was very friendly and let me browse freely without any hassle. Prices were pretty reasonable for some of the older issues I was looking for. If you are a collector, I would definitely recommend you stop in!

My son and I love this place and Troy (I believe the store manager) is a endless source of knowledge on all the characters and story lines in the comics, from the Golden age and before to the present day genre. He is always willing to share with the customer. It is always an enjoyable visit.

I really enjoyed flashback comics but I am going to be 100% honest. I was looking for one very specific book and first went to a comic store called painted Visions comics. I couldn’t find the book I wanted so I went to flashback comics. They not only had the book, but the cashier was very friendly and nice. It really made me feel welcome to come back and buy more comics. I was very happy with their service and would recommend to anyone who wants to stop by. The downside was the store was bit cramped and sometimes is distracting. But the person that was there and at that moment knew where everything was and got the comic with no trouble. You will probably get what you need there.

My first visit to this store turned out to be a horrible experience. The black associate was staring at me like I was going to steal. I was keeping my composure so it would not go to an altercation with the black associate. I sensed bad vide from the him. Judgemental individual.

The owner is VERY friendly and knowledgeable about comics. Im talking being able to tell you what happened in a particular issue in a certain year in a story arc. Very nice place if youre into retro comics.

Great place for comics.

A smaller space with a ton of back issues. Not super high value ones but I like that they have selection and they are friendly. Out of all the choices I have around NOVA to get a subscription, I chose Flashback because of their friendly staff and great choices.

The store was clean and very well organized. The staff was great extremely knowledgeable. He knew the small title I was looking for. The comics were all in great condition nothing looked beaten up or used. Would recommend greatly.

A legit comic store, good selection and friendly staff. Would like more graphic novels for novices and non-collectors, but there are some options.

Whether you are new to comics or have been collecting for a while Flashback comics is the place you want to visit. Great customer service and a great variety of new and back issue comics. This is probably by far the best comic book store that Ive visited since moving to this area 14 years ago. Words of wisdom, Troy is the man, a true historian when it comes to comics.

Had a great time there. I believe it was the owner Troy who was there, but he connected with everyone there. It was my first time there, but he treated me like I was a long time customer. One of the best experiences Ive had in a comic store.

Good selection of silver and bronze age books for the hardcore collectors. Troy is knowledgeable and just wonderful to share a conversation wirh. Family friendly and prices are realistic to the market. You will have a good experience here.

This is an awesome little shop with so many old school comics and memorabilia. I brought my son when he was 7 and we bought several comics and toys.

Flashback is one of the best comic book stores anywhere. The staff is very friendly and the manager is a walking encyclopedia of comic book history. It is one of the few stores around the Northern Virginia area that not only carries a significant number of back issues, but has them well organized. Stop in for all your comic book needs.

I see the vision they have for the place but still needs work, comic books behind the counter are ridiculously over priced and not up to date with current values on the market, you can easily go on Ebay and find those comics for a third of what theyre selling them for. Good place, not great but I see the potential for one of the few comic book stores in the area. Will visit again down the future and hopefully some change has occurred to help with my opinion about it.

As always Troy is of great help and full of comic book knowledge. If a comic is out he will try and get it for you. 5 stars for this store

These guys are completely awesome! They are extremely friendly, and the store is fantastic whether youve been collecting for years or you just started reading comicbooks. If you cant find it, theyll get it for you, and theyre great at recommending new things based on what you already like if you want to expand your reading list. They have the full range of comics, from ones your kids will love to those for more mature tastes. I stopped in when I first moved out here and they keep me coming back. Great prices, great service, great people!

Mark runs the card shop wonderfully. Hes always greeting people when they come in and makes sure to help them if they need anything and is willing to teach people how to play new games. The staff is friendly and fun to get along with, and their prices are very good.

Nice comic store. I went on Free Comic Day and they got a great activity that day with food trucks, games, sales y an awesome selection of comics. The staff is friendly.

It may not be as big as some stores but who cares, it’s not filled with junk that doesn’t matter. This is the best store in the NOVA area. I have been coming back because of the man behind the counter, the comic god Troy. He takes his time and always has great recommendations. He is extremely knowledgeable about his profession and can also have a conversation about life if you want lol. My three little girls love him as well, he is always willing to help them learn and grow as readers and collectors. One of the girls wanted to find more of an obscure “Hero Bear” kids comic and Troy treated her like she was looking for the original issue one Spider Man and he was able to find her three more out of the six. If he doesn’t have it he can get it or even recomend where to go in order to get it. My family and I can’t say enough good about this store and Troy! My cousin showed me this store and I am thrilled she did. Three generations of my family are now fans of Flashback and Troy!Thanks

Friendliest Comic shop Ive ever been to!

Flashback Comics is a great place to get some good oldies, if they have them in stock and even explore some new things too. They also have collectables too! This is defintely one of my favorite places to go to on a weekend.

Cool owner, very knowledgeable about all things comics and very good recommendations. Selection is a bit limited but it has all of the main stream titles.

Everyone who goes to the store should talk to Troy. He is not only a superb example of a great shopkeeper, but he is a delight to speak with. He will answer any questions you have about comics, and he will be only too happy to help you find those missing gems in your collection.

This shop my be small but you’ll be able to find a lot. I highly recommend that you get there Wednesday for new popular comics because they do sale out very quickly, or you could set up a account and he’ll pull everything you want. Great environment and great people, I recommend this shop for the Woodbridge- Quantico area.

I just purchased two Games Workshop/Citadel Chaos Black spray primer cans for $6 apiece, an item that normally goes for at least $17 at other stores and on GWs website. I was shocked by the excellent price. It was so good I almost asked if they were mischarging me, but I wasnt about to look a gift horse in the mouth.
