I highly recommend. They rebuilt My k1500 transmission and they also took the time to replace other sensor I didn’t know about behind the dash. They explain everything well and best part is they showed the parts that was replace. 👌🏽👍🏽

They worked on my 73 international Pickup. Joe knew exactly what was needed before the project even started. A few parts were a little more difficult to track down but all were found and the truck shifts better than it ever did.

Both times Ive taken a vehicle there they scope it and both times it wasnt the transmission like I thought. They are very nice.

I took my truck here to have a new transmission put in, it ran good for a year and started to lean fluid, luckily it was under warranty so I called to have it fixed. I took it in the day they told me, and they overbooked and didnt have room so I had to come back the next day. I took it in and they said it was the pan bolts, they tightend them and sent me on my way. A week later, the leak is worse than before and they keep pushing my appointment back. Since Ive already paid, it seems as if its on the back burner for them

We had our transmission rebulit a year ago and pretty much as soon as we got the truck back it was clunking into 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. It was not smooth. I took my vehicle back for the yearly maintenance inspection and told them it was clunking into those gears and they basically dismissed me and told me it had nothing to do with the transmission. I went to the Yakima wa branch. They are horrible its the second vehicle that ive had that they didnt do it right on. I would advise never to use aamco they do not represent customer service and they dont care if you have a warranty. Im truly upset and outraged that this is happening. I will take to another mechanic who knows what they are doing to get it diagnosed since aamco employees are in incapable.

We had our transmission rebuilt in Portland Or. 82nd St. AAMCO. We had a few issuses and did not want to take it back to them. Our tranny was completly burned up. After doing some talking with the Corporate office and requesting another shop, we were sent to AAMCO in Yakima WA. (we are up to 85 to 130 miles from a AAMCO dealer) All said and done Jason Guerin was great at helping us get the rebuild. Jason kept us up to date when we called. We got a list of what was done and replaced, they also saw another problem not related to the transmission and fixed it and we were very happy to pay for the repair. WE feel the Yakima AAMCO store is the place to go. Great people, friendly, good service. THANK YOU JASON AND YOUR WHOLE CREW.BUD AND NORMA GEANE CRAINP.S. report back this spring when we haul our fifth wheel.

Took my 06 silverado in, the guys were great and helpful. They found out it wasnt a tranny issue and let me know without even charging me for the diagnostic. 5 stars for their helpfulness and honesty.
