Have had some good experiences with my partner’s car, but, unfortunately, I received awful customer service before even getting my car there so we will no longer be customers. People do speak highly of them, maybe you’ll have a better experience.

I took my truck last month because my transmission was bad, I called in advance to see if they can handle it and they said yeah. Took them two days to call me back just to tell me that the transmission was bad and needed a new one which I already knew so I had to pay 180$ for “diagnose” something I already knew and they said I had to take it to a shop that specializes on transmissions. So don’t waste your time with them on your transmission here take it to a shop that specializes on transmissions

I have had great service in the past, how ever the last few times havent been great iv had to ask multiple times to have things checked before it was checked. This last time my wife asked to have the emblem replaced on our car we were told they would try and order us one we never received a call. Two weeks later we inquired further, we were put on hold while they looked in to it. Twelve minutes went by then we were hung up on. Never received a call back. Hopefully this is just a phase that will correct it self.I have since been contacted by autometrics with utmost apologies they corrected this mishap and had it sorted out the very next day I was very impressed with their professionalism and expedience.

Pre-purchase Inspection: I drove to Yakima from Portland to check out a used vehicle. I wanted a pre-purchase inspection done and was blessed enough to randomly choose AutoMetrics to contact about doing this inspection. I called ahead of my trip to Yakima, and spoke with Mark on the phone. I could tell immediately that he is a “no bull” professional. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of what he told me the inspection would include. When I arrived at AutoMetrics for the inspection, Mark was on the phone so I talked with Cody. As with Mark, I was impressed with Cody’s professionalism and willingness to spend time talking with me. He printed out a Carfax on the vehicle and looked through it closely before ever taking the vehicle into the shop. He found a couple things that raised red flags for him and he took time discussing them with me. I ended up asking if this was a vehicle he would recommend that his friend pursue. He gave an honest answer and said that from what he saw on the Carfax, he would not recommend this vehicle. He could have said that they would do the inspection (which I would pay for) and then let me know. But I left without owing AutoMetrics a dime...and between them, Mark and Cody spent a fair bit of time with me, an out-of-towner, who will (unfortunately) likely never be a return customer. If I lived in/near Yakima, AutoMetrics would definitely be my mechanics! Thank you Mark and Cody!! You guys are A++++ in my book!!! —Trish

In December I brought my car in to be repaired. I picked it up in the evening when it was dark so o didn’t notice that the rear passenger tire was flat and drove it home. The tire was ruined. When I was asked by the staff if I had liked the service I told them I didn’t. I thought they should have notice and told me. Apparently they did notice ( there was a note) but didn’t tell me. I was offered compensation and send them the invoice for the tire but received nothing so here it is the last day of March and my patience has run out.I would NOT recommend them.

Im not one for giving reviews, unless the service is either really bad or really good. In this situation the service is beyond excellent and I have never been more pleased as much as I have with Autometrics in comparison to any other mechanic I have taken my vehicle to (dealership or independent) . Knowledgeable, professional and always with a good disposition. These technicians will take care of your vehicle as well as accommodate you with their customer waiting lounge, or if you feel the need not to wait (or have some place to be) they have a shuttle service in which can take you to and from the shop! In my personal experience with working with mechanics, you get what you pay for. Their shop rate is competitive with the local dealerships and they usually have warranties that surpass dealership warranties. The two gentlemen who will typically be your service advisers are Chris or Cody, and they will be more than happy to help you with any of your vehicle service needs. A+!!!

I recently moved to Yakima and have been in search of a reputable Auto mechanic to work on my Subaru. I called them prior to ask some questions and understand pricing. I went in to get my oil change and was quoted $40.00. When I got there the young man gave me a price of $60.00. I was a bit confused as to the price change but wasnt really in a space where I wanted to ask and get into a confrontation.As I was waiting for my car to be finished they asked me if I wanted my car washed! I asked if it cost more money, they said no, so of course I agreed because who would turn down a free car wash!When I went to check out the nice young women who range me up only charged me $44.00 something. I was happy to hear the price had dropped and my car was washed! You cant get that service in Portland! Im not sure what happened with the $40-60.00 charge maybe I heard the young man wrong. I am happy with my oil change, the service I got from the man who changed it and washed my car as well as the young women and other gentleman at the front counter. Thank you for making my day brighter and car brighter!

We had such high hopes in finding a trustworthy, reliable shop. Unfortunately we caught them in a lie and when the owner got involved we were excited to have our service completed. But at three weeks after a promised call back, we still havent heard from anyone. Bummer. Seeing your response makes me happy I didnt go back. Why would you wait for us to come back? Especially after many visits and the part was never there. Why wouldnt you actually call us? We wouldve been there in a heartbeat. That is why we went to you in the first place. Dont guilt me for hurting great people that work there. Perhaps, it is poor communication that is hurting your employees.

I took my red 2007 Subaru Forester here last week to have one headlight and one taillights fixed. $200 was a bit expensive, but it was a good experience overall and customer service was great as well. However, within less than a week later, the very same headlights went out again, but the taillights seems to be working just fine at least for now. I am going to try bringing my car in one more time and see if I can either receive a refund or have them take a look at it to see if they can fix it like how they were supposed to and if there will be any other extra charge or not for this. I will adjust my review according to what will happen within this week or next week. I am willing to give them another chance since the customer service was great and the service was very fast and on point.

So helped take my brothers car to this place and they said it would be checked within 24 hours. ranged for $60 to $220 just to look at it depends how long they take. Which is fine then the next day we call around the same time we took the car in and they still havent looked at it. Didnt bother me till 4 hours later the charged $220 when they barely looked at it for an hour. amazes me how shops like this stay in business. dont waste your time take it somewhere else

They were super fast, reasonably priced and had great service. I came in at Friday at 1pm with a few problems and was able to pick my car up by 5pm that night. I own JRCC and we have been in business for 37 years. We have an office in Moses Lake and Wenatchee and almost 2 years ago opened up our office in Yakima. Because of the many good reviews on Autometrics and close proximity to our office we decided to use their services.I do like their process of documenting and sending information digitally. It includes the names of people doing the work and putting together the work order.We have had good service on most of our work we have had for them. However, we have had 3 different experiences where something goes wrong within days or a couple of months in the same area work was done. These experiences have all happened in the last 6 months and is too much of a coincidence that we have terrible luck 3 separate times on different vehicles. It is hard to say if it was just missed the first time, if something was improperly installed when it was put back together or if it was in fact terrible luck each time. I dont believe that to be the case, especially with our latest experience.We make mistakes, but when they do we own it and make it right. The best they have offered is to do things at cost, not own that they made the mistake and then tell us they will not warranty the second time.We plan to continue our growth in the valley and with that a fair amount of work to a mechanic shop that wants to take care of us. We need to be taken care of and treated with the care that a long term relationship and regular work that comes in reciprocation.

I have been super happy with Autometrics! They have been so helpful, even though Ive called them at least half a dozen times! They are extremely patient and polite! The inspection they did on my vehicle was thorough, and they even sent me an email with pictures of everything they found. Recently had my car worked on Cody took care of me highly recommend to go as well.

We just had a brake fluid flush and power steering flush done by Autometrics on our 2002 Saturn with almost 300,000 miles on it. These items were suggested last summer when we had an oil change performed by them. We love these guys. We would have our car towed several hundreds of miles just to have them work on our cars. They are honest, efficient, more knowledgeable than anyone weve found, and fun to work with.

Our windshield wiper fluid refused to work during a drive from Seattle to Salt Lake City. We called AutoMetrics from the road and they said, Come right over, made us comfortable in their waiting room, and when the wiper fluid suddenly behaved while the car was in their warm repair bay, AutoMetrics didnt charge us a dime. While we were waiting, we heard multiple satisfied customers pass through their doors. This is a sophisticated, professional, and most of all kind shop. Recommended to go here by Costco for an alignment issue. The staff was so thorough and helpful I now go here for oil changes or any automotive need. It’s great they help to call to remind and schedule appts if your over due for oil change. No pressure or unnecessary sales pitchesand great service. My daughter and I were traveling through Yakima and our truck broke down. These guys are AMAZING!!! They parked and unhitched my trailer for me, repaired my truck, re-hooked up my trailer and even made sure all of my trailer lights were hooked up and functioning. When I left the shop my truck had more power and got better gas mileage than before because they not only just got me back on the road, they made sure the truck was functioning at its best.
