Very professional and when they were working on my car and noticed something else that needed repaired they called right away and gave me an update with on the spot quote and time-frame. Most times they charged less than they quoted, which was surprising to me cause most other car shops have charged exact amount or higher.They’re quality is also top-notch.Highly recommend!

I recommend this place to anyone asking! I am a single mom with literally no car knowledge and most shops have taken advantage of me. Not these guys! They tell me what can wait and what needs to be fixed now and they have even diagnosed by sons car and fixed if for free when it was a simple fix our family couldn’t figure out. They are the most honest and nicest guys around!

I was always hesitant to go to a mechanic shop because they tend to rip people off, but Thomas and the staff at Westside Car Care have been reasonably priced and havent made me feel like I was over paying or treated unfairly. The first time I went here a few months ago, I had taken my car to get some repairs fixed, and they fixed her up like a champ even with how many miles are on it. My second time, on a Friday, my check engine light started flashing and hollering at me so first thing Monday I called Thomas and he was able to get me right in and was able to let me know the issue and how much it would be to cost within a reasonable amount of time. He had my car fixed up shortly after that, THE SAME DAY!!! I highly recommend! I will go back for other car repairs in the future. Thanks guys, youre the best!!

Well what can I say, this business saved me today, LITERALLY!!!! Thomas and Brad and everyone their goes above and beyond for their clients. I have used them several times before and always had exceptional service but today really was different. My car broke down and I had to have it towed directly to them. I was in a panic because I have kids and fiancé to pick up later and was taking to Thomas about that. He offered to give me the “rental” they have there until my car was figured out. This might be a thing every car place does but that has not been my experience previously. Thomas didn’t have too offer but he did and now I don’t have to worry about getting a rental or having someone else pick up my children, I can because of him. And I just dropped my car off no more than an hour ago and have been in contact with them about moving forward with repairs. They are fast, reliable, friendly, professional and it doesn’t break the bank. Please. Please if you have car trouble take it to Westside Car Care. I had an issue with my suv overheating these guys not only confirmed what was wrong with my vehicle but got it fixed the same day i took it in! The next day I had a little leak had them check it and and found there was some air trapped and got it resolved fast and got me on my way! Brad and Thomas where very helpful and have great customer service I definitely will be using their shop again I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS to anyone!!!

I went in told then what the issue was. They looked at it and said it was something else. So after 630 bucks they wanted 880 more to fix what I said was wrong. Trying to say it was both. My trucks is doing the exactsame thing I thought they would stand by their diagnostics but I guess not.

We were traveling in our RV with our Jeep Wrangler in tow in December 2020 and were told by our mechanic in Florida, where were from, that we had a small main seal leak in the Jeep that could wait to be fixed until we got back from our trip. The problem worsened tremendously while across the country in Washington State, so we called several mechanics in the Yakima area and they were all booked until the new year for service. However, a few of them referred us to Westside Car Care. When we called, they immediately scheduled us for service just a few days later. They diagnosed the problem, which was NOT the main seal leak like our home mechanic suggested, it was a crack in the oil filter housing instead. Not only did the Westside Car Care guys diagnose it properly, they got the parts and fixed it for us in just 2 days. They ALSO fixed our off-road lights that were faulty, our external oil pressure gauge and our loose trailer wiring, all for no extra charge. They fixed our oil filter housing within the estimate given and then followed up with us a few days later to make sure everything was working well. WOW, people of Yakima, Washington, you are so lucky to have such a great repair shop! We worked with Brad. Thank you for your outstanding service and professionalism, BRAD!

I was referred by my father in law. I had such a straightforward experience that I recommended my father. I think that a great deal of their business may come from word of mouth. I suppose its easy for them, their service is reliable and their prices are fair. But the thing that I noticed most was they accepted what their customers car problem is and stuck to that. I came in for battery issues, though my truck has several previous ones, the employee let me know it was fixed and very very briefly inquired on the other issues. Then once he saw I already knew he dropped it. He didnt cajole or attempt to convince me to get further services. That is uncommon, even rare, for a car shop. But, it was most appreciated.

Honest workers and fair prices.I came in with a check engine light that ended up being an intermittently failing fuel injector. It took them a day or two to figure out, but they were very open about their process and gave me frequent updates. I was happy with the results and the pricing was on the cheaper end of what I had seen shopping around. This was all around a month ago and I have had no issues since.

Had a bunch of work done on my Hyundai Elantra a few months ago. Westside gave high quality, professional service. They went out of their way to find after market parts for my car that would work well and be better value for me, all while communicating well. After the repair they followed up with me to ensure everything was working well. Cost was fair but not cheep. Our 290K mile Chevy Trailblazer broke down on the way back to Seattle, and we originally took it to another shop in town. They were fine and correctly diagnosed the water pump failure, but we asked Westside to quote a replacement as well. It was actually more cost effective to pay for a tow from the other shop to Westside *and* have Westside do a compression check on all of the cylinders before the repair (the other shop said they couldnt do any tests for possible head gasket compromise until after the water pump had been changed). Westside did a great job coordinating with us in Seattle to get the work done, including a last minute headlight replacement using a bulb we had in the glove compartment, and setting up an after-hours pickup on Sunday night with a lock box for the key. Then on Monday morning they texted to make sure the rig had made it back to Seattle ok. I never met Thomas or Brad or the mechanics, but the Westside team took care of us exceptionally well!

I was looking at buying a truck that I didn’t think I could afford because it was broken down. I called Westside car care probably my fourth call and Thomas answer the phone. They tried vigorously to get my vehicle running and it was a lot less expensive than I thought it would be! To top it off the truck was an older Ford diesel! My truck starts better than any of the other vehicles in my family now 🥰 Thomas was very kind and even made it easier on me for texting because I’m horrible about answering the phone! A+++ service!!!I also want to add that I am a female and I never felt that this company was trying to talk me into something I didn’t need! In fact they talk to me out of doing a lot of extra things that I thought I should’ve done and I’m glad I didn’t do them.

For instance, I have a Subaru Outback with over 200k miles and they have done an outstanding job of not just keeping it running, but running great! This is my daily driver as well as the car we take to Portland and Seattle. I do this with peace of mind knowing that it will get us there and back safely and wont break down on the pass.The front staff are exceptional!!! They make sure I am informed at every step of the way. They take the time to explain what the techs found on inspections and what is recommended (by them or if recommend maintenance from the vendor). If further explanation is needed, the Techs or the owner has stopped what they are doing, come up front, and helped explain. Even have had them pop the hood and show me exactly what they are talking about. They let me know if it a fix is needed urgently or if it something that can wait. They take the time to know that I have a family and know that I would rather not risk getting stranded or worse. They help make these decisions as if it were their car needing the repairs or hauling their families around.I have always been treated well here. I moved to Yakima a year ago and needed to find someone to do a simple repair on my truck that I didnt have the tools needed to do it myself. Westside did the repair and charged me less than half of what I expected. Because this initial experience was positive, I decided to trust them with a major rebuild of the driveline and suspension of my truck. My 25 yr old truck has 340,000 miles on it and I like it, it suits my needs perfectly, so I wanted to rebuild it instead of replace it. The whole project was completed below the estimate, even though it was found to need some additional work. My truck drives like a new truck and I am very satisfied with it. The staff always kept me informed of the status of the work, and were always honest in every way. Westside Car Care was a completely positive experience.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel like I have to with this experience. Started with Brad, one of the friendliest and fair owners I’ve ever met. The men that worked on my truck were professional and friendly as well. We were basically driving from Portland, OR to Post Falls, ID and our Dodge Ram 1500 started overheating in Yakima, WA. Was hoping it was something simple like adding more coolant or a hose!! Well, it’s never that easy / radiator cracked!! Everything was taken care of, on the spot in less than 2 hours and the price was outstanding. I will refer this place to anyone that’s looking for a fair, honest, reliable mechanic in WA. He even offered to give me valuable references for great mechanics in Post Falls, ID, since we just moved up there! Brad went above and beyond our expectations, which is a rarity these days!! Can’t thank you guys enough!!

We were passing through town from Seattle to Colorado for Nationals, and coming over into Eastern WA, and we realized the AC just wasnt doing much. I called around and Westside Var Care had an AC special. We were actually at another place down the street, and left to come here. We were so happy we did. The AC was recharged in a few minutes, and its blowing cool as I write this. I really liked that the mechanic (BAW) got on it right away, and Thomas at the front desk was very pleasant and competent. This is an honest company. The original estimate for parts and labor included an estimate of 3 hours labor. When it only took them only one hour to fix it, they charged me one hou, not the original estimated 3 hours! I was surprised. But what a nice surprise that saved me money! Went in to have my Honda Ridgeline serviced and the experience was top notch. Although this is a mechanic shop, the inside is clean, free of any oil and well organized. Not normally the environment for shops, so well designed. The front receptionists were kind and educated me on all my car needs and pricing. All the mechanics have ASE certification and free coffee for customers! They were honest and straight forward, I would recommend to anyone looking to have honest work done to a vehicle.

I have an Audi that is spend to fix! By the time I met Brad (Owner) and Theresa the front office clerk I was at my wits end. Had spent thousands in auto bills and never getting real answers. This shop has gone above and beyond for me. I brought in my European transmission that was grinding in first and second. The owner Brad, took the transmission apart, and rebuilt it with new parts quickly and inexpensively. When I gor the transmission back, I put it into my car and it wasnt working right. When I took my car back into Brad, he pulled the transmission down and apart again. And fixed the problem for me free of charge. I was updated on the progress of my car and its problems. Brad has done an amazing job, and my transmission is working perfectly.I would recommend anyone to go by Westside Car Care with their vehicle. I took my yukon in to get my heater fixed and kept telling them my front heater wasnt working like the rear heater, i took it in 3 times and I paid 2 out if the 3 times and they got it to work but stopped working a month later and they have a 3 year warranty deal and didnt want to work with me the 4th time I took it back in so Ill never any of my cars back there and Im one if those people that wants my cars running good and is willing to pay money for it to get the job done the first time not keep spending money to try and fixed the same problem and keeping paying for it when theres a 3 year warranty never again will I take my cars there .

The only reason this place gets a 1 star, its because of Julisa and Teresa, They were both courteous and provided great customer service and communication overall was great.But Other than that, this place is a complete disappointment, I initially gave them a try due to their good reviews and overall ratings given by the general public, but i came to realize that i made a HUGE mistake and REGRET coming across this place. As a local business owner, a community leader and a war veteran, I take pride in work ethic, integrity and honor we provide to the people and citizens of our community. I am ashamed that these people provide such service. I initially went there to fix a Coolant Leak, i was charged for the diagnostic and agree to take care of the issue, as my total came around $904 (Parts and Labor) + Oil Change after they had initially said it was 2 hoses, they later said it was only 1 and 1 coolant temperature control sensor which is understandable, could have happen to anyone. After, they had done the work, they notified me that the engine light came on, which was a bit odd, since it never appeared on my dashboard, at first i was a bit confused and didnt really understood the reason behind it, so i went ahead and got it check ($140) just for them to tell me the issue, I was a bit frustrated as i wasnt expecting this additional fee, but since the vehicle was there already, id figure might as well, let them check it and see what the results are... after a few days, they finally called me on Monday, given me the results of the diagnostic. Long story short, They quoted me $7900, saying it was a misfire due to a head gasket failure. And most likely it was gonna be a Cracked cylinder head and a week-long job, As you can imagine, i wasnt expecting that whatsoever. Of course i decided not to move forward and drove my vehicle home. After doing some research myself and making a few phone calls, Ive took my vehicle to another shop to get a 2nd opinion. (Will keep it professional and wont mention any names) 1 hour later, they told me it was the Spark Plugs and Fuel Injectors. payed $483. for both parts and labor. I felt and incredible relief but at the same time i felt upset, ashamed and dishonored that a local family own shop will try to do such thing. I understand a profit must be made (Im myself am a business man) but this, by far is a complete abuse, we are not talking a couple hundred dollars, we are talking numerous THOUSANDS of dollars, I feel as this needs to be out so people can be aware of the situation, i wouldnt want anyone to have to go thru such a horrible experience as i did. It is inhumane, unfair and unfortunate to have people like these try to take advantage of our community needs.

Great service and affordable

I Went to Westside Car Care for the first time about a month ago with my old 1998 Mercury mystique. I should of just taken it there in the first place instead me trying to save money I ended up finding a guy on Craigslist that didnt know what the actual problem was. I ended up spending about 800 dollars and my car still wasnt fixed. So I had it towed to Westside Car Care and they told me my engine was bad which stunk but also I was glad to finally know the problem. So I bought another car after that a 2005 Chevy Malibu and the check engine light came on. I took it in and they said it was the Catlyitic convertor and oxygen sensor. They told me the problem right away and also recommend a few other things that needed to be fixed. The Staff is Friendly and will give you a ride home if you need it the Mechanics are all ASE certified and they fixed my converter, oxygen sensor, and gave me a tune up all in the same day. Best Shop around and would recommend to Anyone. ( Also they have a great Financing plan with a great Warranty would ask them about it if someone who doesnt have the NAPA Easy pay credit card goes to them and is reading this)

I brought my F250 for an oil change and to check for a diesel leak and was expecting the worst. They did the oil change and found the fuel filter was leaking. I had a blown headlamp and had purchase the lamp myself and they installed it for free!! Great service and pricing!!Thanks

Took my car in to get the A/C fixed. They came back 1.5 hours later to tell me they didnt fix my A/C and wanted to charge me $500 to get everything fixed. Everywhere else wanted to charge me no more than $200 for the exact same thing.. Theyre a total rip off.
