Good deal on phone and service price. But horrible service in Yakima. Zero service at the actual Verizon store too. Kinda hilarious. Have to connect to WiFi or go home and get WiFi to use your phone in union gap.

5 stars to the young gal that helped me. She went above and beyond to help me out, all while being very professional and multitasking. The management in this store is a joke. Store was super busy and every representative was overwhelmed with work while the “manager” Sabino was just checking people in and scrolling through his Facebook feed. I would Definitely not hire someone like that to run my business.

They have a bunch of rude kids working in there that would rather stand around and shoot the breeze with each other then take care of customers. For the price we pay for our Verizon business account I expect a lot more. I will definitely be reevaluating where we do business.

I went on Wednesday (01/06/21)after work between 4-5 pm. They looked to have 5 staff members standing at the entrance and I asked if I could get assistance and one of the guys said, as long as it dont take to long. I understand they have safety measures right now but that was ridiculous. He later told me I would need to call the Verizon customer service number for assistance. I thought to myself well then why are these five employees here. It was a simple task that I have had them do in store before when I had my last phone. I only gave 3 stars because I have had better experiences here in the past. They were sure to stay polite but I got the feeling some would have rather been at home.

My mom went to this location a few days ago and the ladies were very rude. We were switching my mom over to my business account and there were some issues with her sim card being too old. We were told by reps earlier that day to get a new sim card from their store. They refused to give her a new sim card (we were told its free). They said they couldnt give her one because of their system. Ive worked there before so thats not true, so I told my mom to let them speak to me and they refused to speak to me over the phone because they cant do that(which is also not true).They said they did not want to and cannot help her. They said I have to call them from my own phone number. So I did. They were open until 8. I called around 6, my mother was outside and no customers were in the store and the workers were not busy. All of my phone calls went straight to the store answering machine saying all reps are busy. Before that,They told her to go call customer service. (I used to work at Verizon, and we call customer service for our customers to help them). Her phone was also shut off until the next day. So she had no help until the next day she was able to call customer service. The reps over the phone also confirmed they were SUPPOSED to give her a new sim card, and they were definitely able to talk to me over the phone.The lady was being very rude and arguing with my mother, not being helpful. Such an unpleasant visit. I understand everyone has bad days even me, working at Verizon I know how days get. But ive always done my job even if I didnt want to.

Horrible service I spoke with an Artie for a brief moment to speak to a manager and moments later he began to act as if he was the manager. Rude comments and unprofessional. Not only could they not help on the phone, was told to head to a store and was even worse.

I came back to Yakima on military leave, and went into this store to suspend my account the last day I would be in the U.S. then 2 weeks later im being charged the full amount for my next months bill because the team I spoke to who said my phone would be deactivated DID NOT deactivate my phone service.I find this out at my deployed location calling internationally, just so they can tell me I need to call from my original US Verizon sim card.I understand being charged at a pro-rated rateand what not, however this was just plain not done by the team.

Employees here use covid 19 safety guidelines to do as little work as possible. Poor service. Employees tell you to come back after you make an appointment while they hang out inside doing nothing. This is why businesses are going out of business. Poor work ethic found here.

Customer service is horrible, phone black screened so they sent us to best buy for Apple care... Where they cant seem to do anything but send a code to a broken phone...... Because that makes sense. So far just send send you on a endless run around where no one can really help you... No one has an answer... The phone store cant really fix anything.... Their authorized dealers while super friendly cant really fix.... Anything..... But hey! You can sit in their store for hours wasting your time when your supposed to be at work.Charge port on my other phone wore out and did an insurance replacement on that phone and the phone they sent me with their 3 tier quality inspection replacement didnt even work, so just send it back for an expedited working replacement? Nope sorry you must make an additional claim for them to help you. Their customer care is a joke for the ridiculous money they charge for their #1 serviceAwsome service for a $1200 iPhone and a $1000 Samsung 👍👏Hello Vincent, were sorry we didnt meet your expectations or have a good experience with our team, customer service is our blah blah blah give me a break🤬

Busy store, lots of stuff going on. They check you in and assign you an assistant rather fast, but I always leave feeling like they dont answer all my questions. Maybe thr hustle and bustle is distracting for everyone. Also, most of the accessories are way overpriced, I found plenty of ones I like online for a fraction of the price.

Dont get me wrong I do like Verizon Ive had a Verizon phone and dealt with Verizon for about 4 years now so I have nothing against Verizon itself but I had an experience on the 29th of December 2018 my son had a Verizon phone that gave him for Christmas and he lost it I had a spare phone took it to Verizon store in Union Gap on 1st Street was told phone was outdated and I needed to get a new one that had a SIM card in it before I left store to go get one I had them blocked a phone so if somebody found it they couldnt use it I still have two weeks air time when I came back to the store to try to get back into the account not one employee could find that account evidently when it was blocked and suspended that number no longer existed. Not one for you new that when you blocked her suspended you lose all that every time what I am trying to say hes at the managers or the company need to update employees on whats going on cuz when I talk to the manager at the store all he could say was Sorry.

I got great service. They had the phone I wanted and they put it on my old unlimited data plan. I was worried Verizon would try and switch my plans on me. No problem they do everything on tables so I could see my account and see them add new phone to my unlimited data plan. I got the HTC One M8 phone 32GB

If I could do no stars, I would. Weve been lied to every step of the way. I put in a claim for a new phone, after being told I could come in and walk out with a new phone. Not only was that not true, the phone I got was far from new, and had a defective camera. I feel like reporting this store to the BBB, I havent even seen the guy that told us all the lies in the two years since. I understand other people have had good experiences, but not us.

The WORST customer service ever!! Our family will never walk in that store ever again.. hmm.. Where do I start?!! .. The extremely rude manager “ Jason” rude, unprofessional, absolutely does not care about keeping their valuable customers but just about more sales & upgrade now..!! (Is that the way he’s training his staff?? Sales comes 1st before any/good customer service? I have been with Verizon for over 8+ years.. back when blackberry’s was the phones to get.. then comes the iphones... usually I hate to going in the store unless I absolutely had to.. ( *there was one customers rep.. very helpful & patient but most of them only focus on SALES ONLY in the past 2 years!! ) so customers please beware.. I switch to a different carrier the same hour/day after talking with this store Manager even though I prepaid my bill a month ahead!!! Very disappointed & disgusted with the whole experience!! Verizon used to be so much better on customer service!!!

Worst customer service ever! They dont even have the courtesy to acknowledge you. I went in today to see if they can give me a better deal than AT&T but they kept on helping other people that came after me. They are so disorganized that they dont even have a check in list, so people that actually arrived first can be helped first. One thing I will say is that I dont mind paying more with AT&T because they have Great customer service. As soon as you walk in they check you in. Not to mention they walk you out and open the door for you. Definitely wont ever think to switch to Verizon ever again!

If I could give Verizon a negative score, I would. I owned my phone, did not have a contract, and they WOULD NOT UNLOCK my phone so I could change carriers. I am NOT a fan of their bullying tactics. Shame on you Verizon!!

Awesome service. Switched from at&t due to their horrible service. Went to this verizon store on 1st and was helped by Pheebe she took very good care of us and made buying my iphone easy. Also got the pleasure to meet the manager Johnny made sure everything was going smoothly. Funny and outgoing people working there. Looked like everyone was happy to be at work and having a good time. Highly recommend going to this store for any help.

To be clear.... My feelings about customer service in this day and age are a little jaded... I dont see great customer service and am wowed if I experience it.I walked into this Verizon store (fyi not a big fan of Cellular stores or cable companies). The people that helped me were very helpful and patient with me in helping me turn in a phone (a past AT&T iphone) and upgrade (with peeling off a family plan line, and adding a ipad line)This is the first store that did not try to force me into the Phone Leasing program and allowed me to buy my phone outright.They did a great job of listening to my requests and I left happy.Over all Good job guys

This store acts like a gang, a street gang when you come in to ask for a return or anything due to their poor salesmanship. They sold me a phone that was supposed to be the newest model I came back after 6 weeks and ask them why did they say this was the newest model when they had a different model already out. Paid full price but it was the old model. Then the woman there started walking away to get her manager, because i asked her to. Then as she walked away she said i was wrong and she was right, tissed at me and shaking her head, back at me. The staff there stood looking at me smiling and starring at me, made me feel very insalted. I Asked for the manager again, and she went over in private and spoke to the manager first. as I walked over to ask her mam, why did you tiss at me and shake your head. Im mam but that is so rude, it was very rude. She began to get in my face and yell at me sir what is your problem. why, and what do you want. Then they followed me out of the store, after I told them that Verizon has already told me over the phone to come down, they said you better leave before we call the police. I did not understand that because I did not do anything wrong all I was was asking them to do this, I was told to do this by Verizon. These people act like gang members very unprofessional, courteous not at all, very very hostile towards customers. My wife and I thought they were going to attack us outside the store it felt like. I will be speaking to the higher ups in Verizon about this to see what happens. My my account with Verizon has been with him for 3 plus years now I feel I must change my account to maybe boost. These staff members at this Verizon office should be reprimanded about this activity very unfair to innocent people.

HORRENDOUS if thats a word.Ill try to make this brief. Went to Verizon Store at 2401 S 1st St, Yakima. All I wanted were two new smart phones that worked good. The first sales guy sold me two Nokia 928 Windows Phones which were on special. I paid $108 to them for the phones and went home with 2 new phones. Charged the phones and the following morning the Windows Phone locked up. Nothing would work, touch screen froze etc. I took the phones back because we needed reliable phones. They were not happy about exchanging the phones and told me it was no big deal just do a hard reboot. Well this didnt work either. The phone was frozen. Seems to be in a lot of forums on line that these phones are freezing. They were keeping $70 out of the $108 that I paid for restocking fee even though the replacement phones were on a free deal. Well I think if the phone is faulty you should not pay a restocking fee.They told me they would credit that fee back to me. Then proceeded to give me two other phones. I had told them that we needed good phones with good battery life and reliable. So he gave me two Lucid 2 phones. I had them one day and realized they would be useless to us as the phones wouldnt hold a charge and after the apps are installed there is on 3 GB Memory left on the phone. So very bad and no use to me. I took these back to the shop at about 7.45 p.m. and said they should have tried to match my needs to a proper phone. They refused to refund or change the phone without paying another restocking fee. They told me they closed at 8 pm and they told me it was 8 and they didnt want to let my husband into the store. It wasnt yet 8 in fact. The so called evening manager was very rude and just wanted me to get out of the store. The salesman told me if I wanted a good phone to spend $200 and Id get a good phone. I told him I didnt think I should pay a restocking fee because they mis-sold me the phone he said well then it will go to collections if I didnt pay it.So by this time I am shaking mad. I spent an hour with customer care on the phone that evening when I got back from the store and the agent assured me he was going to make all the financial adjustments. I went to another Verizon Store in Yakima because I could not fathom the thought of going back to the guys on 1st Avenue Store and reps at the other store were awesome. I felt sorry for them new store who were trying to clean this stores mess. I would say never ever go to the Verizon Store on 1st Avenue in Yakima unless you want to be shafted, ignored and treated like dirt!!!! Never Again.

Verizon have the worst customer service and technical support I did purchase a new cell phone and I end up having a problem with hotspot and other features, went to the store and ask for help and they were unable to do anything or fix the problem call in to technical support to Verizon and they were unable to fix the issue after 4 hours of trying to find a solution a return is a solution.
