Classic Auto Repair is by far the best Auto repair shop I have experienced. At my arrival the technician greeted me with the utmost respect although he was dealing with another customer. A few minutes later he came back and assure that I was next on line. Sure enough the technician came back as promised and took my car on the lift to run a diagnostic test I explained the symptoms my vehicle was experiencing. I was extremely satisfied with the resulting diagnosis. The technician then called the dealer for official parts which was purchased using the shops discount. In less than an hour my engine mount brackets as well as my engine valve cover gaskets were replaced. The charge for the work was very reasonable. Job well done in a timely fashion and most importantly by very experienced technicians. I wish I can allocate more than 5 stars. Will be back again as needed and highly recommend. You are Truly a Classic Auto Repair (C.A.R) shop.Thank you.

I took my Ford Ranger to this shop because it was near my house and I had less than satisfactory experiences with other mechanics on Yonkers Avenue. The Ranger was spewing steam from under the hood and would not hold coolant for more than a short drive. “Caco” put a pressure test on the cooling system and determined that the thermostat housing was the culprit. He quoted me a repair at $450 because the housing according to him was difficult to get to and the parts were so expensive. Not knowing much about auto repair I agreed to this price. Caco then required me to leave a $200 cash deposit before leaving because the parts were “very expensive”. This is something no other mechanic has ever asked of me. This annoyed me. There was a random taxi driver at the repair shop instructing me to not drive my truck because it would overheat and crack the engine, he then pressured me to hire him for a ride. Who is this guy? This also annoyed me. I walked home to get the cash and came right back. The next day Caco gives me a call telling me the repair is done and that he would like another $50 because of the parts thing again. This REALLY annoyed me. When I got to the shop I asked for the old parts and did a quick search on Amazon. New genuine Motorcraft replacement parts could be purchased and shipped for around $40 plus a few dollars more for generic antifreeze. Caco was not telling the truth. I told him I would give him what we originally agreed on which was alread 10x the cost of parts. The repair fixed the problem, hence the single star. I was clearly scammed though which is partially my fault due to my ignorance of auto repair.
Great shop Great prices .I suggest this location for their extraordinary service along with high qualified technicians that got the job done ASAP...
