Broke a part, promised to fix. When I came back acted like thay didnt know what happened. And didnt fix it of course... Thank you! Nice way of doing business!

I took my car here in February. One morning before work my right side window slid down and would not go back up, so I was desperate to find someplace that could fix it. Obviously with glass in the name and the high rating I figured they would be the best place to go. I very much regret that decision now. I asked them to repair the side window I also had a crack in my windshield and figured I would get that repaired right away as well, plus an oil change. I made a deal and left my car there. As soon as I got back to the office I reached out to safelight etc just to price compare and realized they were charging almost 200 more than other people in the area and safelight. I called them back within 40 minutes of leaving the car but they said they already started the work so I accepted it and moved on. They had the car completed by the end of the day. I realized a few things immediately: 1) the rear view mirror was shaking like crazy with normal driving and not even bumps. 2)I could very clearly hear outside noises and wind blowing when I was driving on the highway. I could also see a bit of space/light between where the window was and the roof of the car. Something that had never been an issue before. 3) I could also smell oil burning while driving.I let them know the issues and took the car back within thw next two days. John informed me he would fix the side window but could do nothing about the rear view. He basically told me the spring in it was flimsy and they couldnt be held responsible for breaking it while changing the windsheild, he also said he noticed it when he did a test drive before giving the car back but didnt think to let me know or fix the issue. In terms of the oil he said again they had not done anything. Even though the car had not had these issues before. At the time I was in a rush because of work and left highly disappointed, but blamed myself up for going to a shop that I had not veted prior. Pretty soon after that, I began working out of state and then covid happened so I didnt drive the car much and it sat parked outside my appartment. This week start driving again and realize the speakers that are in the doors on the side where he fixed the window are also not working. I didnt realize before because the drivers side work and I mostly am in transit alone.I am now looking at over 2000 to fix the issues that were caused. Thats on top of the almost 1000 I already paid them. Very very dissatisfied and felt I needed to leave this review for others that may use this shop.

I love this place. I am so used to being cheated and overcharged by auto repair places that when I found Johnny at Westchester Auto glass it was such a relief! I bring my car to him for everything, from body work to repairs. I cant speak highly enough of Johnny and his crew. I have referred him to more people than I can remember. My entire family uses him, my wife, my sons and their significant others. My best friend, my wifes friends are all his customers. Whenever I have a problem he is there. And with all of that to be so friendly and congenial is just icing on the cake!

Have used John for body work as well as light touch up service before returning a leased car. Always a great job.

One of the best places in Westchester. Johnny rocks!
