Central Plaza Diner is a small, cozy diner that has a great selection of food. From salads to main entrees, sometimes its hard to decide because its all good! Food is prepared home style. I can see Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer hanging out here. 😊

Driven past this place a hundred times, a friend recommended it. Parking not a problem (hard to see that from central Ave.). Great food. Great service. Corned beef hash very good. Kids got waffles, they looked good.

Ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich from here today . The food was so terrible I had to throw it away. Steakbwas rubbery dry and had zero taste . It was like I was eating a shoe. fries were disgusting. Never will I ever eat from here again whoever made this probably lost there taste buds to covid cuz anyone with brains would know this taste like hot garbage

The chicken is all char grilled for wraps so if you dont like that kind of flavor dont buy any of their wraps... I did not like it because if the charcoal grilled flavor...but the staff was nice and attentive..

Great little diner in Yonkers. First time I brought the family, and they loved it too.

This place is great, a little small but the food is amazing. They give you exactly what you order. I asked for a sausage egg and cheese with the yoke a little wet on a beagle I kid you not best breakfast sandwich Ive ever had no cap. I think it is because they use real sausage links so none of those bs patties. Foods fresh responsibly prices, people are super nice.

I have eaten here many many times and always enjoy it. Decided to go today for dine in now that it is available. NO ONE is wearing their masks. Under the chin only. Small businesses want us to support them in our communities. I care about them and Im all for it. But, the Central Plaza Diner is telling me that they dont care about me. I dont respect them if they dont respect me. Sorry. Not coming back.

Ive been coming here for 15+ years. Central Plaza consistently provides good food with food portions at low prices. I almost always get breakfast but the lunch options taste good too.

Very nice and small diner. Food was very good. Cash and credit is accepted but they do add a 4% fee for using credit to your bill. However their price are very reasonably priced.

This place is always been the affordable diner in the area. I dont take credit cards so you have to bring cash or use the money machine. The food is not fancy. For example that give you margarine instead of butter for the bread but the cells are actually quite good and the portions are a good size I got a grilled chicken with her homemade balsamic vinaigrette and it was quite good.

I have been going to this diner for years - the owners are wonderful and treat their customers with respect - and most importantly their food is excellent and reasonably priced - best diner in Yonkers!

This place is a gem. Located in Yonkers. They make the food very fast and its always hot. There products are very good. Only downfall about this restaurant is that its cash only.

Ive been here with a friend a few times and the restaurant is very unassuming, but a great spot to grab a meal and chat. I usually get some kind of breakfast, which is usually very tasty. In fact, the only thing I had here that I did not enjoy was the French toast. The Staff is friendly and helpful, but not overbearing.You can park right out front, but be warned, this diner is CASH ONLY. I think theres an ATM in the restaurant, but why throw away the benefit of the great prices? Just bring cash with you.

Lovely diner. Self seating. BEWARE they DO NOT accept cards. The nearest atm is in the same complex area but charges 2.50 (plus your bank fee) so just prepare for that. Prices are fair, service is great, waiters let you do your own thing and dont hover over you.

Great place. Went here for lunch. Feels like a classic dinner. Its was surprisingly busy and there was a brief wait, but we were seated within minutes as soon as a table was free.

Love the Little Diner, thats what I call it. I have been a regular morning customer for 15 years. Breakfast specials and soups are great! Staff is warm and friendly. Makes you feel like family.

The food is very great tasting, generous portions and prompt service for the most part. I just wished they stayed open later hours. The Restaurant hours are 5am thru 5pm Monday thru Saturday.

After giving this place multiple chances, I can honestly say this is by far one of the worst Diners in yonkers. Ive found hair in my food before, theres even a photo on here of someone elses food with a hair in it (I wonder if they ever even noticed that) . The service is slow and the lack of communication between the staff is crazy. I once got watered down A1 sauce from them and they had the audacity to tell me thats how it comes. I offered to buy them a new bottle and show them what real A1 looks like. One of my biggest issues is, no matter how many times you can repeat your order to them, they will always forget something and never want to provide a receipt, then try to charge you extra. Its such a turn off when your hungry and receive such horrible service. The only reason Ive given them so many chances is because my son like the French toast with bacon which is about the only thing they have thats any good. Other then that the food is horrible.

A small location at the end of the businesses of Central Avenue before it becomes just a side road to central avenue right before Tuckahoe Rd, it can easily be missed. The prices are decent and the staff are friendly. So-so continental foods are served here for what seems to be a regulars diner.
