Went to this cute little cafe for breakfast with my uncle. Expect a wait but service and food were great and priced reasonably. I had a chorizo hash with eggs and it reminded of fresh (not canned) corn beef hash. If forgot what egg dish my uncle had but he loved it and we shared the oat panacakes with peaches which were really good. Will definitely go back.
Cute little breakfast/brunch spot in a quiet area with easy parking. Didn’t even know this little gem existed so close to home. The portion sizes are good and the food is excellent. Many different choices for kids and adults. We will look forward to enjoying the pancakes and eggs!

First the food is great. I have eaten here a few times and theyve never missed a beat! But what brings me back is Maureen. She is the corner stone of this great establishment. She remembers you and your name. She always is up beat full of life and man can she move. The speed at which she moves challenges any top runner.Her warm caring nature is the life of this eatery. They have the best blueberry pancakes. They add fresh berries to the batter after it is poured onto the griddle. It is ALWAYS busy.

We were party of five, waited maybe 15 mins, seated separately for few minutes until we got a bigger table! The stuff were so accommodating! The waitress was so nice! We got the food really quickly and it was so delicious! This is amazing place and I am sure will be here more often when visiting daughter in college!
One of the best breakfasts/brunches I have had eating out. Definitely going to keep eating here with my friends until we are tired of it. And then we will still keep going here! Keep in mind, accepts cash only.

I love coming here because the head waitress is so friendly and the breakfast is on point. Homefries are hands down my favorite, followed by the corn muffins and banana cream oatmeal for the little one.
Well kept secret... Is it supposed to be?This place is great.Wait time was around 10 minutes.Service was fast and correct.Order to table time was like... 10 minutes.We ate for about 25 minutes. We were on the road that day, couldnt stay long.In and out within an hour.Fast paced. You shouldnt sit there for too long. Not large space, so not very many seats.Everything was organized and clean.Great Ambient and flow.

Best hidden gem of westchester breakfasts
Food & the staff are great at this local eatery! Their Fuego sandwich is delicious with some heat and chipotle creaminess. The omelettes are fluffy and their potatoes are delicious. The pancakes and french toast are so good! At times pancakes & french toast are flamed just right with a sweet, delicious char! Great spot!
Food is not that great and they have a menu that is 1000 years old posted on the internet so you walk in expecting to pay one price and then you end up spending 50 bucks on 4 pancakes
It’s simple diner fare, but quality service and probably the most personable place in Bronxville. Cash only though, but should not be an issue at their prices.

Great food! A bit more than an hour wait on a Sunday late morning, but worth the wait. The pancakes with fresh blueberries were delicious, as was the eggs, sausage, and bacon. And the coffee was great! Attentive servers, would definitely go back.
Their lamb burger are to die for. If you are lucky enough to be ther on the day they have, try them. Outstanding. On Thursday evening try their short ribs or rack of lamb, sooooooo good. For lunch there are great omelettes, my favourite is Turkey Chili Omelette or just TurkeyChili. Just the right amount of spice to make to take notice. Pancakes with blueberries, forget about it. You have died and gone to heaven. All in all, don’t miss the Pondfield Cafe.

Quaint little place, crowded and loud on a Saturday morning. Had to sit at the counter because the wait for a table wouldve been at least a half hour. (Dont sit here if youre taller than 5 2 though; your knees will be pressed against the counter wall!) Food was good and served quickly. Lastly, dont bring your credit or debit card, they only accept cash.

The question has now been answered. Why the line inside in a spot you could easily drive by or walk by and not even notice. And, why so few photos available as well. The answer to both is easy the Food. My wife and I both ordered the special which I hope is always available because when placed in front of me I immediately started eating totally forgetting that I wanted to take a photo.

Ive been a semi regular here for a few years now so its only appropriate that I give them the praise they deserve for providing hands down the best breakfast you can get in bronxville (Ive never been for the Thursday dinner but I hear its equally awesome.) Everything Ive had on the menu Ive enjoyed, but mostly I get one of their omelettes because theyre huge and guaranteed to fill you up.
Wow the food from Pondfield cafe was great!!!! I had a tuna melt with fries and coffee and it made my day. I must say the food is so good the cafe is packed and you have to wait for a seat. But people waited patiently. That says a lot about this cafe. Great food with great service. Parking is great and staff super friendly. Enjoy and thank me later. Friendly, prompt and efficient staff, added to excellent food at moderate prices, make this a must when you are in the Bronxville area.

Even though we came relatively early, the place was packed. We put our name on the waiting list and only waited twenty minutes to be seated. We remembered from our previous visit to walk with cash since they do not accept credit or debit cards at the establishment. I dont have any qualms with this place and Im sure we will be back again

The staff is super friendly and the food is so very good. This is what I want when visiting friends and family, unpretentious food thats filling and cooked with love. I had the French toast special with two eggs, two strip of turkey bacon and a turkey sausage patty. Hubby had the pancake special with two eggs, two strips of pork bacon and a pork sausage patty.
This family operated Cafe is great for sat or sun brunch. Parties greater than 4 be ready to wait, there are only 2 tables to accommodate you. The food comes fast & hot. Staff always has a smile. I recommend coming before 1pm on wknds or you wont get a table.
One of the best spots in Westchester for breakfast. Wonderful staff, from the hostess to the cooks. Food is always good, fresh and plentiful -- dont miss the specials, theyre awesome. Always full, usually with the same people who come back every weekend (and I assume weekdays too -- though weve only been on the weekends). Highly recommend.

Parking is on the streets. Sunday its free, but we found a spot fast and close. If you dont like tiny places this isnt for you. Even sitting next to my boyfriend at the counter it felt crowded. Everything looked clean from the dining part to the kitchen. All the dishes I saw looked amazing. It looked like only 1 waitress on for the whole place so we waited about 5 minutes till she could take our order. The staff was very vibrant and working very hard. Love the home fries. Theyre like soft potatoe slides. Good was good.

Amazing breakfast. I just moved into the neighborhood and my girlfriend and I went for the first time. We each had a breakfast burrito and it was amazing and HUGE! They come with 3 eggs each and your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage. We got a side of corned beef hash and that was delicious too. Sue and Maureen are super friendly! There isnt much seating, since it is small, so you might have to wait a few minutes for a table. The prices are fair although it is cash only. Thursday nights is BYOB dinner specials. Cant wait to try that out.
This is a hidden treasure in the corner of the Yonkers. Polite, good food. Great for breakfast or lunch. It is cozy, warm and filled with neighborhood people. It is basically the last cafe in Yonkers that borders Bronxville just before the Bronx River Parkway on Pondfield Road. It always smells great and that is from the cooking. They even have great deserts and good coffee. I take my mom there because the dentist is right across the street. The Pondfield cafe is worth a visit. See you there soon!!

This is my favorite breakfast spot in Westchester. The Huevos Rancheros are the best here!! The staff is very pleasant. The service is fast. The cafe is small and, usually pretty busy. There is a wait here most anytime Ive been here with that said the food is worth the wait. I always enjoy having breakfast here with a good friend.
From my daughter: My dad and I went to this place. I had a wrap, and Daddy had the two pancake special. When I took my first bite, I was amazed by the food. It was delicious! From me: great food and service, even with a packed house on a Tuesday morning, and the guy actually made the bacon crispy, a concept which no one else seems to understand! Will absolutely be back.
Omg AMAZING!!! Worth every penny! The banana nut pancakes are killer. I drove from the Bronx for this and I will be back. Anyone who has something bad to say about this place is miserable!!
Fast service and delicious food!
Its a great breakfast place. The only downsides are that the parking is metered, its very small inside and gets crowded quickly, and they are a cash-only establishment which is just really inconvenient.

This place is a gem- located in the heart of Bronxville. You need to get there early for breakfast to get a seat. The food quality is amazing. They also do dinners on Thursdays.

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. The hostesses are BEYOND imcompetant. Waited outside for almost an hour, only to check the list and realize they crossed our name out about 10 parties ago. They kept coming out calling people’s names that were already seated, calling parties that already left (I assume because of their extreme incompetence to keep a simple list of names straight). WHAT A MESS!!! Never have I seen such a thing. As soon as we found out, we left. We will NEVER be back. No tiny diner is worth that type of aggravation!!! If you enjoy starving and aggravation - this is your spot!!

The food was good and the customer service as well but the place is always crowded there is not parking, not enough space inside for anything, the waiting time is very long. If you are not in a hurry I can recommend this place.
The food is outstanding! I am a creature of habit and almost always order 1 or 2 scrambled eggs (moist & fluffy!), bacon well done (crispy & tasty!) and potatoes (flavorless & just okay). (I wish they had hash browns.) I love that I can get a side of sliced avocado when Im in the mood for it, and its always perfectly ripe.I dont drink coffee but my friend says its typical diner coffee. The staff is busy but attentive and friendly.

Unfortunately didnt get to eat because it was very crowded at there was a 20-25 min wait. While waiting I realized they only accept cash and all I had were credit cards so I had to leave. I can only guess that the food was good because the place was so crowded. The staff was friendly so I will give it a two star rating.

The Pondfield Home fries are legendary so a nice Bronx cheer to the potato haters. The specials are superb. (Popeye BF special!) One of the best short order cooks on the planet and the staff is always on no matter how busy. Try the tomatillo sauce, the Egg Salad Sammy, Eggs in a Nest, bacon, Pancakes. Dinner hours on Thursday. My only complaint is that this place is not closer to my kitchen.
