Professional staff and tools used throughout the process of getting an estimate to being notified when the work was completed. Had a timing belt replacement and had no trouble getting the scope done with parts I preferred. Would certainly consider this shop for future work.

The employees at this place are such great people. Not only did they step up for an out of state family stranded because of car issues but they were fun, gracious and caring on top of it. They were trustworthy to be honest about the price, the timeline for completion and diagnosing the problem without adding on additional costly repairs. We were so blessed to have been referred to them. And I would refer them myself if I ever find anyone with car issues down south.

I called on Tuesday or Wednesday because my car was overheating. They didn’t have any availability until Friday so I had my truck towed there Friday morning at about 8:30. By 11:30 they had my estimate of the cost and what was wrong with it which was one of the cooling fans blew and I needed a new radiator. My vehicle was fixed and ready for pick up by 4:30 that very same day. They even had the courtesy to show my boyfriend the damage to each of the parts which I thought was cool and was something they did not have to do. Their pricing is fair and they give you a breakdown of the charges. And on top of all of that they offer financing. I cannot say enough good things about this business. I have had my old car repaired here, and I have recommended family and friends who have all had good experiences as well. I will not bring my car anywhere else for repairs.

We used these guys after having a horrible experience with Allstar Hyundai in Baton Rouge.We dropped my car off to them on a Wednesday evening for a Thursday appointment and had my car fixed and returned the day after on Friday! Even with a long list of work to be done.My car runs and rides great. It doesn’t have any annoying dash lights on anymore. Braking is smooth and I’m left impressed!The Pit Stop crew is wonderful. I give this place 1 star. My wife’s car A/C wasn’t staying cold and that was the only problem it had until she drove it back from them after we wasn’t going to pay the expensive repair cost. While driving it home it was running very rough and had multiple codes show up from the check engine light. I checked the codes and 2 of them led to the throttle body position sensor. So after popping the hood I found the air intake duct wasn’t tight at all, was to where I could twist it with little to no force. Once I got to the throttle body I found that they had broke the clip that holds the electrical plug in place. So it would slide off with ease. I can understand on a car clip breaking, it happens, but to not try to fix or let the customer know it a problem. WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK THERE.

The service providers were courteous, willing to answer any questions or concerns in a professional and respectful manner. They provided entertainment with a television 😊. I waited for the servicing of my car in their waiting area. Service was outstanding! Would suggest company to family and friends. The only concern that I had was that no one had on masks due to Covid-19. That was a concern because being an African American, Im considered high risk. However, I had on one. Other than that, everything was exceptional.

They were simply amazing. Within one week, they serviced all 3 of our vehicles. Was told from others that had a blown head on an F150....they serviced and replaced the valve gaskets. Ive never had any problems with them. I got my cadillac converter changed and oil changed with them. I will be returning for my brake pads. They also did my brothers transmission on his truck. Pit stop completed service on a starter for a 2006 BMW 330i quickly and fairly. The job was done in two days despite having to get it towed there (car would not start or crank) and it being fairly labor-intensive (the starter is buried pretty deep in the engine compartment). Price was fair and they were upfront about it. Thank you!

I am from out of town they fit me in the next day. They diagnosed what I thought was wrong and confirmed what I thought. They were very responsive on getting back to me and prices were good.

I have a 2006 Lexus GX 470 that suspension was blown. I didn’t know at the time and called to get a diagnosis done. The guy was super nice and respectful over the phone and got me in that day. After receiving the diagnosis and a couple different options on what they could do to help I made my choice and also got a tire quote from them which was $100 cheaper than the cheapest quote I could find before that. So I ordered new tires as well as for them to fix my suspension with brand new shocks and struts. It took them a day to do and I picked it up yesterday. The car drives likes it’s brand new and never had a problem and the tires are great. I’m definitely using them from now on. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful and the technician who did my suspension was more than happy to test drive it with me before I left. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get something done with their car.

My van was experiencing issues with the AC and I needed someone to pinpoint what was going on. I took it to Pit Stop and not only did they find the problem but they gave me a very reasonable price and fixed it quickly! My AC is working great!! I was back out on the road in time to get my kids from school. So very happy!!

The Pit Stop did a fantastic job on my truck for tires and tie rod replacement. I had made the mistake of “ordering” tires at a different place in Zachary. They did not have my tires when I showed up, but when I called Johnathan at Pit Stop, he ordered my tires and had them installed on the next day! He also greeted me by name when I came in for my appointment that day, and followed afterwards to make sure everything was working well on my vehicle, even though we had never met. He and his staff are very friendly, very professional, and I couldn’t have been happier with my service and the price! I will absolutely use them for all my service needs in the future!

This was my first time to use Pit Stop in Zachary. After calling several repair shops, Pit Stop was able to give me the soonest appt for an evaluation. Was very disappointed, I setup an appointment to get an alignment, and after an hour and a half they came back and said they couldnt do it and had a list of things wrong with my truck, and a $1600 quote to fix it. More than half of it was double billing and when I called them out on it they said they had outsourced the alignment to another shop and that was what the other shop said needed to be done. They were going to charge me $100 for the alignment, and come to find out they drove my truck into baker and were paying another shop $80 to do the alignment!!! BAD BUSINESS. If you cant do the alignment just say so!!

There are at least three things to consider when looking for an auto mechanic shop:1) HonestyThey were very upfront about costs and did nothing exceptional without inquiring with me. They arent going to take advantage of you.2) Reasonable pricingPricing seemed to be on par with other shops and the going rate.3) Customer service.Here is where they shine. I was told that a new engine would be delivered on a Thursday evening and that theyd call and let me know when it go there. They followed up and called me that evening to let me know that the blown engine was already out and the replacement had arrived. Seems like a simple thing--to follow-up with customers, but I can tell you that it is a rarity to keep customers so informed.When a defective component was discovered on the replacement engine and it required more labor to swap parts, they called to let me know.By Tuesday, as per there estimated completion time, my phone rang and the car was ready to go.I took a look under the hood and elsewhere. It appears that they did a top-notch job.As long as I live in the Baton Rouge area, this will be my go-to shop for everything. To say that I am impressed would be a major understatement. Thanks guys for the great work!

Amazon advertised Professional installation of part with Pit Stop. When I checked the price Pit Stop wanted double what Amazon said they would charge. Be careful if you purchase professional installation through Amazon, with Pit Stop.Update:Pitt Stop seems like a good outfit. In my opinion they should have stayed with Amazon, Amazon is a winner I think in the long run Amazon Professional Service would serve them well. They could have made money on my job, but made a different decision, which I think was the wrong call in the long run.

Had these fine fellas fix the brakes on my wifes car and then later on my truck. I experienced friendly service, decent pricing, good quality work, and a fairly quick turnaround. I picked them initially because I called around on a Sunday and left messages for several shops and they were the one single place that called me back, and when they did they already had the quote ready from listening to my message.

My car brake lights would not go out even when the car was off. After reading good reviews, I stopped here because it was close to the hospital I was rotating through. Although the shop was very busy, Joel assured me that theyd take a look at my car. They were able to diagnose the problem, and refer me to a place closer to my home that had the part needed to fix the issue. THIS SHOP IS SECOND TO NONE,I took my car to 4 shops because my vette was making a serious noise in the front. The noise was so bad it sounded like any minute something with my steering was going to break.None of the shops I took it to were able to locate the noise. They could hear it but couldn’t find what was causing it. One shop stated it was the rack n pinion after changing it the noise was still there. One place stated it was the sway bars, changed it too but noise was still there.Auto shops replace a part, charge you and then say oh that’s not it and change another part. Next thing you know your bill with them is so high you can’t afford to pay it. Not this place, these men worked tirelessly to figure it out, not one time did they just make a guess.I will never take my car anywhere else not even for just an oil change. The determination they had to locate and fix the problem was outstanding. Not only did they find the problem, they didn’t charge me for the time they spent to locate it.HIGHLY RECOMMEND these men, honest, trustworthy and the best shop I’ve ever been too.Thank you again, I’m so thankful for your help.No one will truly ever regret going this shop!

Two visits, both regarding the engine light. First visit determined the type of code. Asked me to come back when I had more time to determine the exact reason for the code. Returned a 2nd time and It wasnt good news. But they broke it to me gently. Provided me with two options and put no pressure on me to make a decision right then. Will definitely return here for all vehicle maintenance.

My emissions light came on. Pit Stop saw me the next day and conducted diagnostics. Unfortunately the light had turned off but they checked the historical code and made sure everything was ok. I even got a follow up text the next week. I’ll be using them again.
