U-Haul does not guarantee anything for your online reservation. They claim they dont know where their trucks are at and have no idea what will be available when. Seems odd they cant manage their own company. But if you need something for an important move, they will NOT have what you want and leave you stranded. Then they will tell you its your fault. So be AWARE of trusting U-haul. If they cant manage their trucks, they cant do reservations correctly.

I would not recommend this U-Haul location. My boyfriend and I rented a tow to haul our car on a 11-hour drive to San Antonio, TX a week ago. Everything seemed fine when the tow it was connected to the 15 foot U-Haul truck and our car was loaded onto the tow. When we got home to load up the rest of our stuff we realized that U-Haul allowed us to drive off the lot in dangerous conditions. A thorough inspection was not done on the tow, see pictures. It was complete luck that my boyfriend noticed the chunk of tire missing before we started our long drive to Texas. I doubt we would have gotten very far on this tire before something awful happened. Dangerous!!!

Would like to extend my appreciation to Daniel for his professionalism and courteous service in getting me on the road with a 6 x 12 trailer. My trailer hitch and wiring had some issues when I arrived that he quickly identified and corrected without charge. Recommend this business for all Veterans and civilians!YNCS Stanley A. Worst customer service EVER!!!!! I was sent to several different locations for the same truck just to be told I cant rent it!!! Stay AWAY from this place or and uhaul for that matter!!! BEWARE!!!

Too few tables creating huge wait times and then makes their patrons sit outside in freezing Temps. No fire pit thst i could see on their patio as advertised. Lame you cant figure out how to allow people to make their own health decisions on staying 6 feet apart wearing masks.

Reservation and pickup of a 17 truck was seamless. Truck could have been in better shape, but its a work truck, so waddaya want, right? Up until I returned the vehicle Id have given them 4 or 5 stars. However, when I brought it back after gassing up at the station across the street, as I left the station I heard a clunk.When I got to the U-Haul return across the street and opened the back, the little dolly had had broken loose. The fellow there insisted I had used it (you broke the little green seal) and charged me for it. He was not interested in talking to the two movers who were with me, so they could vouch for the fact none of us had used the dolly and show him the multiple, full sized professional dollies we did use.Basically, the knuckleheads at U-Haul did not secure the dolly and it broke loose. They were unwilling to verify that I had no use for it (witnesses right there) and had access to far better tools (whod use a dolly with 4 wheels?). Got the charge reversed at my credit card company, but that was an unacceptable hustle. Will use another location next time.

Fast friendly service, stopped for propane paid $12 to fill tank, cheaper than my usual fill place $17, bring your own tank. Ill be filling here from now on, the main entrance is under the canopy.

The owner will add a receiver hitch and damage your property and deny.

I have personally contacted this office on 2 occasions and both of which I have found there Customer services to be less than desirable. I have also contacted customer service, claims, and corporate offices all though represented were nice nothing resulted from holding for 3 hours and being passed from one department to the other. Bottom line i am forced now to seek legal assistance to resolve this issue.

The clown here tells me my 2016 F350 is only rated to tow 5500lbs and I can’t rent a car trailer. I told him to google the towing capacity and he says the only number that matters is what his computer says.

Best place to get a truck, Ive moved 4 times in 2 years and always go here. The store owner is very nice and always gives the best deals and hasnt charged me for dollies or carts. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

This place only runs correctly if Eric is helping. I will only go to this uhaul and only work with him. He bends over backwards to make sure you are safe and then ensures that you are happy. I accidentally left my hitch attached to my trailer and he called until I said I was coming in. Go here, best run U-Haul in town.

Went in to get a hitch put on my vehicle. The worker told me its would be a easy job. 1hr goes buy we were waiting at the truck stop across the street and the wannabe mechanic calls me to say he was to busy to get to my vehicle even though he had it all torn apart on the Jacks. This millenial told me that he had to many customers and he couldnt get to my vehicle till closing time??? After he agreed to put it on and said it would only take 30min. Stay away from this place they suck.

Good! They were really helpful. Cost less than a propane exchange. They were fast, too! Filled the bottle and cashed me out in 5 minutes.

We reserved a truck on the phone, but when we got there, theyd double booked. Staff was helpful and rented me a larger truck. Price was kind of stiff, $60 for an hour. Staff said the people taking reservations double book all the time -should work on that.

They were unusual charges in my account, I was trying to reach out through phone because I really don’t have time to stop at the store. I was on the phone for about an hour and no one would answer my call. I tried the local office number and still would send me straight to u hauls main number.

What kind of a business doesnt have parking for their customers...

Lines can take a long time to get through. Id guess 10 or so minutes per person in line. Not the fault of the employees though. My quick observation was that a lot of customers didnt have their act together and they needed a lot of extra help which took a long time.Main reason for low rating is two fold:1. Not a great area. Saw numerous questionable people walking around. Didnt feel particularly safe. Was worried that my car might be broken into while waiting in line.2. The truck we rented was ancient and had absolutely terrible shocks. Ive never been in a worse ride in my entire life. Not the sort of thing that puts your mind at ease. Especially worrying since we were about to pack our lifes possessions into it for transport. 170k miles on the truck. Drove 34 miles and used 4 gallons of fuel.Pros:1. Decent prices.2. Location was good (excluding crime potential) because its right off the freeway and was across the street from Loves or flying j or one of those style of gas stations made for filling up very large vehicles. Made returning the vehicle and gassing it up before hand very easy.

Made an appointment for a truck. I showed up, truck was not ready. Had to wait for roughly an hour for vehicle to be ready. Made complaints to employees. Employees were careless and only seemed concerned with smoking cigarettes, playing on cell phone and playing with dog that was inside sales floor. Employee kept telling me it was not his fault the appointment could not be met and to blame the previous renter. It was over 90 degrees outside and when I got in the truck, the employee had set the heater to max heat. Vehicle was dirty inside and out. Had to stop at gas station to clean windshield and bugs off front of vehicle. Also had to put fuel because I was given vehicle with roughly 1/4 tank of gas. Trailer was not hooked up correctly. Wires and chains were dragging on ground and tire straps were hanging off the side of the trailer. Very unsafe and very unprofessional. I have no clue how this location is still in business. I was promised a call from GM, never received a call and made numerous calls to location without getting call back. Very poor training and management. These employees lack integrity.

4/14/17 around 10:30am I pulled my RV in to fill up the propane tank after repairing the lines, and asked the guy at the desk if he had any dye to add to the propane to see if it starts leaking again. He said If I smell any propane down there, I cant fill it. I said You wont smell any, because I just drained it all to do the repair. Its empty and the lines are tight now. Then he said Im not gonna put any propane in your tank, because you just told me it leaks. Apparently reason is not a tool in the box when it comes to deciding what work they dont want to do at the moment.

They were suppose to put a hitch on our truck. When we came to pick it up all the employees were sitting outside smoking. Then the manager left and was gone for 20+ min to get the part they needed. We waited for over an hour and a half. Never did they apologize. I have a 20 dollar bill in my center console that I put there the night we left it, it was missing when I took the car home. Horrible experience, never will go back. Super disappointed in Uhaul

U-Haul of Westside is the most convenient U-Haul ever: take I-40 westbound exit 158 (6th-12th street) and drive straight into it at the foot of exit ramp. Best part is its located directly across the street from a Loves Truck Stop, so you can gas up your rental with the cheapest gas in town, guaranteed.I rented a GMC pickup that was powerful, drove perfectly and was clean and well-maintained. The staff worked with me to extend the rental for 2 days longer than the initial reservation and got me in and out with zero hassleHighly recommended.

I attempted to rent a car transport but was told my 3/4 ton truck was not rated to tow trailers. Not like i really wanted to pay $375 for a 180 mile trip. Oh well. Your loss uhaul.

Good customer service, but didnt have the light hook up for my trailer lights.

They advertise that they fill propane 7 days per week. I just came from there and I was told by the 2 children manning the store that they are not authorized to sell propane. Go to the Princeton store. They dont fill propane either. I didnt appreciate the false advising or the wild goose chase.

The truck was clean and i stopped to put gas i i made sure it was a little past the 7/8th mark idid not drive as much miles as i thought i would so instead the guy pretended on paper he put gas in truck and charged me what i was told for the beginning first time ever renting a uhual and when guy asked if price was ok i didnt understand since i spent 4 hours moving so i was really tired went home looked at the statemet and see this ezfuel charge that i was not aware of! Horrible and was almost gonna get sent out without the supplies i purchased online!

Went to a Uhaul on Central and tried to pick up a truck that we had reserved a week in advance. We were informed that they didnt have our truck when we showed up and that we had to go to this U-Haul on 6th street to get our truck. When we got to the U-Haul on 6th we had to wait in line for another hour and a half to get our truck. We spent 3 hours of our time just trying to get a truck so we could start moving. Horrible experience.

They are so rude, horrible customer service and should not have a job with the way they treat customers.

Went over to see if adapters available locally for my trailer application and found they had everything but what I needed. Neither did the internet so I purchased new receiver and couldnt be happier.
