(And Im SURE once hired there, a down-to-earth person is ready to find the exit door).
You apply and get invited to interview, get put in a giant room at a job fair with 50+ other people take 2 tests and fill out an application that you already filled out online. Make you wake 1-1.5 hours to talk to someone for 5 mins and they dont even ask you any interview questions. They explain the company in 2 mins then ask if you have any questions for them. Giant waste of time

So my review is about Uline in interview/job hunt. I have been job searching and received a phone call that they would like to interview me. So I went at my appointed time(January 16). They first gentleman I interviewed with was great he said he liked me and wanted to get his manager/superior. So I waited for a few minutes and another person comes to my table and He interviewed me. Again he says he likes me and wants me to speak with his boss. So I was like ok. So the third person comes out and again a great interview with him. He said he also liked me and was sending me to their Human Resources. I get there and I do hear people getting job offers so I was excited. Another person comes out and strikes up conversation(I assumed kinda like another interview) and then this person after done talking to me comes back with a gift bag and asks me to fill out a reference sheet, authorization for a background check and drug test. Once I handed those forms in he stated expect a call in on Monday or Tuesday once you background check is done with a job offer.(I know my background check is clean) as I leave the build employee’s are congratulating me. So Wednesday hits no call so I call them and they state the background check is not done yet. So I wait until Friday and call them back and am told Uline has decided to go in another direction. February rolls around and I get a call from Uline and they ask me if I am still interested in working with them. I said yes and we set up a date and time.(March 4th) I rework my resume and reference sheet and head in with a cleaner resume and references done. I interviewed with 2 more gentlemen and both were like we want you. Sent to me Human Resources AGAIN. They made me do the same thing so I fill out all the information and hand it in. As I am handing it in one of my interviewees came over and said he really consider this guy he would be a great addition to Uline. Now March 15 and I get an email saying unfortunately I have not been selected. Why call me when your just going to tell me that you are not interested.
Uline has always been most helpful in finding a right product for packing and shipping for us. Their customer service is very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Very reliable company to do business with.
Uline customer service recently told me they do notnreport credit information that can potentially assist their customers in establishing a payde score. They yold me this after the fact when I had already made numerous purchases with them. What they are now saying their policy is is counter to what they represented at the time I made purchases with them.
All products were available at promised pickup time. Easy access to drop area while maintaining Covid-19 protocols.

Use door 285/284...not 235 or 245/246 as doors were locked.I was given paperwork to go to door 235 to check in. Receiving starts at 0700. Dont bother calling unless you have the extension, youll go nowhere. Its fcfs.Otherwise all was good, the door slams if not careful. No lines on door pavement...hard to judge it. But line on slab of concrete helps once you find it. They sign paperwork, give you a door, green light you can go.
First time customer pick up. Warehouse is massive and beautiful. The system is very streamlined and organized. Location is extremely clean. Only issue is the charge to pick up, I think it should be free. But nonetheless the process went smooth.

Very large facility with multiple buildings. There are a couple spots along the road for parking, but theyve been taken every time Ive been here. Drop and hook for me, so cant comment on loading times.
We recently ordered a large quantity of pallet shelving and other office materials. I didnt like how the drivers were NOT helpful at all and couldnt suggest anything better when my interior design staff were confused on the setup. Despite ordering shelving in different footage lengths, there should be directions to this or at least a diagram to refer to. There wasnt anything!I am still giving them 5 STARS because of the customer service!!! One call, you immediately speak to a Uline customer service rep. Unreal. Theyre patient, extremely knowledgeable and work with you to resolve the issue(s) or questions. Great service and pretty good pricing too!Thanks again, these pallet decks look perfect for our space and no issues overall. Highly recommended! Got problems? Call the customer service line. Im there as a temp for another week, i have been labelling product. I have been to alot of warehouses in my time, i have never ever seen a warehouse so big as this one. Im thinking over 4 football fields! But what got me was the cleanliness of the place, wow! And how everyone works in sync from picking and getting the product out to the customer on time!

Uline is something else it is like no other place I have seen. The work that gets done is staggering, and impressive. But the workload must be heavy the people in there are moving all the time.

Is a great place to get employed
I am completely impressed. I needed esoteric shipping supplies on a Saturday, and within a half an hour I had a price quote and ETA. By 1:00 pm I had what I needed. There was absolutely zero hold time involved, I had bright, knowledgeable people helping me from start to finish. This seems like one of the best run companies in the US.
Personally, I find nearly ALL of their storage products to be GARBAGE! We put together a locking shelf that was $420 only to find it was bent right on one of the hinges deeming the cabinet unusable. Called Uline and they would GLADLY take it back. We needed to wrap it back up, put it on a pallet, wrap it, and move to easily accessible pick up location. They would send out another product, but whats to say this one isnt damaged? Our order was nearly $2,000 and we sent it ALL back. The $420 cabinet WAS SO FLIMSY, there is no way it would endure all they promise. I cant believe the website does not allow you to leave reviews on products. After telling ULINE we were unhappy with purchase, customer service wouldnt even back up their products. They blame damage on third party shipping and these things happen. WHAT A JOKE MAN. We also got wire dump bins, they fall apart with one pull, NOT Worth $120, so unsafe. Moral of story, ask before buying and expect to return your products.

They will base your hiring process on two unfair tests. You are just cattle to them, all they want is the best of the best test wise they dont care how hard working you are. And discrimination there is at a all time high.
Quick loading easy directions. Down side the building is HUGE with no clear signs for shipping and receiving. So if its your first time you may need to get with a yard jockey for their location

I placed an order for pickup at their Allentown facility. I called around 7:30 AM and they answered the phone on the first ring. I was instantly talking to a live operator who was able to take my order, no phone trees or transfers to a different department required. When I arrived for pickup a few hours later the signage was able to direct me exactly to their loading dock even though the facility was huge. As soon as I walked in the door to the desk I could see my order waiting for pickup. ULINE is a huge national supplier with several facilities and I am sure they process thousands of orders a day, so I was amazed to see such a level of care and promptness for my order. The facility was immaculate and you can tell that they really care about their business and take pride in it. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable, and their product offerings are varied yet reasonably priced. As a small business owner I will certainly be using them in the future when the need arises.
Purchased a $499 cart. less than a year later the welds are cracking. Have never had it close to the 1200 pound capacity. My local welder says it was welded incorrectly.Uline did work it our for me and honor the warranty on the cart. SO customer service prevails.

Recently, ordered small boxes online, 50 pieces, added tape to my order. It had cost me about $135.00 with shipping. My first order arrived at my door in 3 days. I realized the boxes were too small for me to use. I called Uline over the phone. The representative had told me that they would gladly take the 50 boxes back. I would only have to pay for the shipping. Once they received the boxes they would refund me back. I also placed a 2nd order of boxes for a different size, 25 pieces while I was on the phone. Went to UPS to drop of the boxes and they were charging me not only for weight but also the dimensions of the boxes, for check this.. $45 dollars. I said What???. I called Uline again and the representative told me that they couldnt cancel the 2nd order of 25 boxes because it was on the UPS truck out for shipping the same day. It would arrive at my door tomorrow. I said, What am I going to do with 75 boxes that I dont need? Online, you can only purchase moving boxes 25 pieces at a time. Im only going to pay for the shipping for the 2nd order. This is ridiculous!! Too much money! Fast shipping though.

Ulines service is good, shipments always arrived on time as promised,prices a little higher then what you can hunt for, but very convenient, one stop shop.set up an account, and receive substaintial volume discounts.The give-aways are a plus too, great for employee performance incentives. Uline brand products are good too, carrying a fair price, and of good durable quality.take their casted zinc razor knives for example, drop them 20 times, and they still function good as new, not like the cheap crap at home depot.
When I call, they always pick up first ring. I tell them who I am and its like they already had their window open. Always nice and friendly on the phone and its a quick, easy call.

Received letter from Uline today, stating that an additional $25 will be charged on pick-up orders less than $300, starting the end of May. Their reason being that the dock gets too clogged and this will remedy the situation. Go figure. What is the use of using pick-up at all, then. Ill be getting my supplies elsewhere. What a rip off!Why should buyers be punished with this extra charge? Why cant Uline figure out how to better serve their buyers who pick up? It isnt like they arent able to.
