I cant express how happy I am with our kitchen renovation! Platinum Kitchens from the start was such a smooth pleasant experience. Our project ran on time. Every person that came in my home had a smile on their face and seemed to really enjoy what they do. Workers would stay late to keep our project on time. Michelle, Jennifer and Kevin made this such a smooth experience! We are so happy we went Platinum Kitchens and we LOVE our kitchen!

I could not recommend them any higher. Quite simply they do a quality job when they said theyd do it.I waited nearly a year after the completion of the kitchen before writing this. When the project is just recently completed it is easy to be happy with the work; after a year we are just as happy.The only issues we had during the job were not their fault. We ordered new appliances and those were not delivered on time. Platinum was very accommodating with the delays caused by the appliance vendor. Even with the delays, Platinum finished on time.On the walk thru they pointed out more issues than we noticed and fixed them all.Simply put we love our new kitchen. Wed hire them again in a heartbeat. Our only complaint with Platinum is that they dont do bathrooms.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. We can not say enough great things about our overall experience with Mike and his team at Platinum Kitchens & Designs. From the initial design consultation, to the finished product was an amazing experience. Mike walked in to our kitchen and immediately saw a way to make our small kitchen space much more funcuntal and spacious. We had other quotes and no other company took the time to find out what we really wanted...which was to make the kitchen more usable. As you can see from the photos all of our appliances got moved around...which made so much more room and counter space. Every contractor we had during the renovation was professional, timely and quality driven. Our project stayed on budget and even finished before the deadline...even in these crazy Covid times. Thanks so much to everyone at Platinum Kitchens & Design for giving us our dream kitchen. We can not wait to cook Thanksgiving dinner this year!

I recently remodeled my kitchen with Platinum Kitchen. Their team did an amazing job. Juan and his team were outstanding. They were very professional, very friendly, and they went out of their way to make sure that all the details were addressed. They were also very fast in the execution side. We could use the kitchen probably 3 weeks earlier than we excepted. Going into this,my wife and I were anxious about the process and the inconvenience that it would cause, but we have to say the team made it quite smooth. Thank you for everything.

We love our new kitchen. Platinum was very easy to work with and the end result is a kitchen that fits just what we were looking for. There were some hiccups along the way, and the timeline was extended as a result, but thats to be expected with a kitchen remodel so we werent totally caught off guard. Jennifer was amazing from start to finish. She helped with the design plan but was readily available as things came up throughout the process, even if it wasnt her area. Would recommend.

From the beginning of my kitchen remodel they were on top of things. It was a one stop shop. I didn’t have to go looking for everything on my own. It made it so much easier, especially during COVID. The owner (Mike) and everyone one on staff are very personable and always available when I needed anything. My project manager (Adam), designer (Samantha), and Lauren were also amazing!! Made me feel very important each and every time. I loved the app! It kept me up to date on when they were coming to the house, as well as knowing what they were doing each day. It also told me what selections I had chosen, when to pay the installments, emailing the project managers and others, pictures throughout the remodel, to name a few. If there were any issues, they always tried to solve them quickly. They were very patient.

Platinum kitchens did a fantastic job. From Michelle scoping out the floor plan and cabinet layout to Juli helping with selections and Kevin managing the day to day project — they were all professional, pleasant to work with and thorough. Bumps come up on these types of projects but they were all presented with solutions as subs worked together with Kevin. Their use of the Buildertrend app made it so easy to know who was coming when and to keep track of selections.We love our new kitchen — thanks to platinum!

All the work was exceptionally well done and professional. The staff was consistently responsive and positive. The craftsmanship was superb and the job was completed as scheduled. I cannot speak to good value because was not able to compare. However, I was told that the estimate was reasonable by friends. There were a couple of times when workers showed up and they did not inform me the time they were arriving. Other than that, my kitchen is gorgeous and I’m very happy with the results.

We are just finishing up an extensive kitchen remodel which included removing and relocating a bathroom with big electrical and plumbing issues, and installing a 14 foot bow window. Our construction team, at Juan’s leadership has done a beautiful job, including completing the final punch list in a timely manner. We couldn’t be happier.

We just finished remodeling our second kitchen with Platinum Kitchens and could not have been happier either time. The staff is very experienced and professional, work quality and materials were excellent, pricing was reasonable and they met all expectations that we agreed to at the beginning of both jobs. They genuinely want their customers to be satisfied and we certainly are. I hope to never remodel another kitchen, but if I do, I will definitely call Platinum Kitchens. Highly recommend.

We engaged PKD to renovate our kitchen and our experience with them was a total nightmare and would not wish on anyone. Their sales team and website lead you to believe that the project will be completed within 4 - 6 weeks, with the kitchen being functional around week 4. PKD tried to blame our project being held up by a significant delay which was ripping our the sub-floor. We told them prior to the project that we knew that might be the case and to go ahead and quote for the cost of replacing it. They didnt do that until week 2, day 1 which we approved the cost on the same day. They left the trash/debris from the demo on the side of our house for 5 weeks and we had to continually ask them to remove it as it was attracting insects, bugs, etc. We met with their operations manager on 3 separate occasions to reset and the project got continually worse. Finally, I terminated PKD on Week 7, Day 2 as there were still significant things to be completed. I had licensed and certified plumbers and electricians tell me that some of their work was not up to code and had to be re-done entirely. They put the garbage disposal on the wrong side of the sink without even asking where we might like it. I asked on 3 separate occasions to meet with Michael and Leslie Karp and they never responded to me, even as the project went sideways. I had paid them a substantial amount of money by then so maybe they didnt think it mattered. I know I am limited on the amount of text I can post on Google Reviews but I have to say they treated our property with absolutely no respect. The morning after I terminated them, I walked out to my shed in my backyard and found my dogs sniffing at the grout/tile waste they dumped out behind my shed. Just an awful experience. PKD - GREAT JOB and GREAT PEOPLE. We did a major renovation of our kitchen, removed walls, changed every appliance location and changed access entry while repurposing the laundry room. A number of people said expect some surprises....but PKD stayed on schedule and everyone (Michelle, Kevin, Jenn and Laureen) were always so responsive and professional - that care and service was also seen in all the contractors. We have shared with everyone our positive experience. Thanks again for the transformation and being on top of everything every step in the process.

The entire experience with the Platinum Team was outstanding. From the initial meeting with Michael and Sam through the planning process with Lindsey, there wasnt a detail missed. They are kitchen specialists and not construction generalists.Once the process began Kevin took control of the entire project. Kevin impressively explained the process, introduced me to each trades person independently and followed up on every detail DAILY.The software used tracked each and every detail. All of the contractors were polite, pleasant, responsive and thorough. There were two little glitches (one we caused on a color of an electrical plate and a small scratch on one of the floors). Both were taken care of timely and professionally, without missing a beat.The most unusual part of the entire transaction is that it came in a week earlier than promised and under budget. I dont know many that could say that. Finally, it appears that all who work for Platinum enjoy their jobs as they approached us with excitement and genuine care.I would not hesitate to recommend the entire Platinum team to others. We hired Platinum Kitchens after asking friends and aquitinances for recommendations. After doing our research they were clearly the best choice and were glad we went with this company. They started on time, finished on time and the quality of the work was top notch. I was dreading having crews in the house for weeks on end but Platinum could not have made the experience any better. Every member of their crew was professional and the care that they took while in our home was incredible. Our project manager was always available when we had questions and always was on site with the start of each phase of the work.I am very wary about home improvement contractors but these guys are absolutely the best in the business. My only regret is they dont do bathrooms! Thank you Platinum for our new kitchen.

We picked PKD for a full remodel of our kitchen starting on March 16 (first day of COVID lockdown). We were concerned that it would slow completion of our project, but they actually finished ahead of schedule. The entire process, from design to construction to follow up, was exactly what we hoped for. They did an excellent job working with us to keep some of the mid-century modern features. These included working around wood paneling in the family room and opening up a wall to connect the living areas and kitchen. Despite the numerous other clients he was working with, Adam had a way of making you feel like you’re his only--or at least his most important client. Mike was fantastic. He provided great leadership for his company and clients, is passionate about providing people with beautiful, functional spaces to live their lives in, and he’s just plain fun (he’s a fellow Star Wars fan too so that’s a bonus). I dont even know where to start!! Platinum Kitchens came out and met with us to go over what we were wanting to upgrade in our kitchen. They listened to what our needs were and provided their opinions and/or concerns. Our kitchen was not our style- white lacquered cabinets, orange marble backsplash, and orange pantry. When we met with them in the showroom - Mike had designed our dream kitchen :) A couple of weeks later - we picked out all of our finishes. Our project manager (Kevin) was AWESOME!! Kevin was very communicative throughout the entire process. He managed all the trades perfectly. There was basically someone at our house on a daily basis doing something. Our entire kitchen was basically done in 6 weeks right before Christmas. New white cabinets (with glass inserts on the top), quartz countertops, marble tile backsplash, closed doorway to dinning room, added prep sink, and made island a tad bit larger and refinished the floors. Platinum Kitchens is definitely PLATINUM!!!!!

Took over 2 weeks for an appointment, for a rental I am planning to sell, and when I got there on time, I saw I had a voice mail saying if I did not call them within 10 minutes, they would not keep the appointment. Unlike every other appointment reminder I get as a busy person, beware of not confirming an appointment with Platinum as they will drop you in a hearbeat! They were barely apologetic and did not seem to care about the inconvenience they had caused me.

Ive been in and around construction work most of my adult life. Remodeling is very difficult from a couple of standpoints - original pricing and scheduling. My wife and I are very appreciative for the excellent job the Platinum Kitchen & Design personnel did from start to finish. We were with our Project Managers Mike and Dave Joiner more than anyone else. By the time the job was complete they were almost like family. Of course, there were a few surprises, as would be expected; they were handled promptly and professionally. We would gladly recommend Platinum Kitchens & Design to anyone interested in having any work done in the kitchen & breakfast areas.

An incredibly smooth experience! Its a nervous thing finding somebody to come in your house and redo your entire kitchen.. knock down and re-support walls ect. From the beginning I noticed their professionalism over other companies we talked with. They created our vision perfectly. Platinum kitchens was always there for us with any questions we had. The outcome was exactly what we pictured. Very glad we chose them! If it is anything like our experience you will NOT be unhappy.

Based on the snarky, condescending and insulting replies from owner Mike Karp to the reviewers here, you can clearly see what you will be up against if you use Platinum Kitchens, which I strongly advise against. Mikes design was very nice and the showroom is gorgeous and staff very helpful. The nightmare began with installation. Our project manager never showed up and when he did, it was for about 10 minutes then he left. I pretty much managed all the subs. If I questioned or challenged anything with regards to service or quality control, I was treated in a condescending manner. I was even called a liar because I noted the kitchen island was crooked. I was right, it was crooked. We were lied to repeatedly by our PM with regards to how vents were capped and our vent hood was sealed. He basically took the easy way out. THEIR own HVAC guy had to confirm it was done wrong! They were completely put off that they had to fix it! My husband was routinely called profane names and management decided that because we were so difficult, they did not complete work. Cabinets are now warped, trim is incomplete and falling off, drawers to do not glide correctly and our utility room is non-functional. If you have any background in construction, renovations or project management experience, as we have, you will NOT be happy with PK. You are NOT their type of customer. If you dont mind paying a premium price for sub-par service and mediocre quality and dont challenge any of their decisions or work, then by all means, use them. Looking forward to Mikes angry response.

We just wrapped up our kitchen reno with Platinum Kitchens and the transformation is nothing short of amazing. Our 30 old peeling white cabinetry and awful Corian counter-tops have been upgraded with beautiful new pale gray cabinets and sleek white quartz tops. The work completed was done on schedule and we never felt pushed to max out our budget. Having a designer to help us make choices was a Godsend. My husband and I were not always on the same page taste-wise and she was able to help us create a look that we both love. Our project manager was punctual, and he and his crew were so nice. We were entranced by their well practiced team work and they cleaned up every day even if it was late. My father-in-law is a lifelong home builder and can be a little critical (understatement). He was impressed by their work ethic and their quality results. Special thanks to the patient guys who had to put up with his line of questioning and inspections. We absolutely love our new kitchen and could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Platinum Kitchens!!

Took me a while to put in a review as the kitchen was finished close to a year ago but now I can also comment on the support after your project is finished.The Design stage was great, having everything in a showroom helped my wife tremendously and Mike had some great suggestions related to the layout that we now love.It was a major renovation with some demolition of walls but the project started on time and was fairly painless with some expected hiccups. But no showstoppers through the whole construction process and good follow through.We love our kitchen and the extra space and new layout has made it so much more of a vocal point in the house.After using the kitchen for a while, we had some flaws show up but a single call to Platinum Kitchen and everything was taken care off without any arguments. Very impressive so far and they keep following through on any issues about 1 year in.

We just finished a remodel with Platinum. They offered a design that no other company could mainly because they listened to what we wanted and provided their own ideas. They dealt with issues as they arose and finished within the proposed time-frame. We wouldnt recommend going anywhere else for a new kitchen.

I recently moved to the area and bought an older home and really never gave much thought to review a company until my experience with Platinum Kitchens.We found Platinum via their radio adds and called them. The designer came out to our house and walked through the kitchen and talked with us about what we liked and didnt like. They left and stated they would be in touch to setup a meeting to come into their office for an overview of the design, materials, types of finishes, tiles, everything that would be needed. We spent a number of hours with the designer and selections designer. This was a pleasant experience, they answered our questions, provided expertise and feedback in an helpful manner. We made a number of our selections at that meeting and followed up our designers a few days later after my wife and I discussed our options.About a week before the start date we received an email that contained our start date, Project Manager information and other contacts if we had any questions or concerns. On our start date the Project Manager showed up on time which is good as I am stickler for maintaining a schedule, after some introductions and some instructions demo began. After prepping the area with plastic to prevent dust and debris the demo went rather quickly. I received a call during the week of cabinet install from Elizabeth the operations manager that stated one of the boxes had been damaged during shipping and if I would like to continue with the install as scheduled or if I would like to postpone it till the replacement came in. She stated that it could take about 2 weeks to get the replacement and that the crew would complete what they could. I decided to move forward with the install and just have the replacement installed once it arrived. After this little hiccup which was not even Platinums fault the rest of job went as planned, except for some minor issues that always popup in these kinds of projects. Any questions or concerns my wife and I had, all we had to do was call one of the contacts provided to us and the information was provided.This is the second kitchen renovation I have gone through and even through the damaged cabinet in shipment, some minor issues that always pop up during a renovation I could not be happier with the finished product. The quality is wonderful, finishes are spot on, and the experience with the Platinum team was awesome. My only problem, they do not travel to other states. I will definitely be recommending Platinum to anyone that asks me if I know of a good kitchen renovation company.

This company is unable to find any time to work with their clients. Never had to much trouble trying to work with a company that I want to pay money to. They will not work with you and are unable to find times around your schedule. Put me on their schedule for a meeting (which could only be one day in the whole week) a month and half in advance (which was soonest for them) then cancels on me the day of. If you are going to advertise then try to keep up with the demand.

We were told that when you are re-doing your kitchen you should evaluate your options based on three issues: cost, craftsmanship of the work, and a company that works on an accurate time table. I can tell you without a doubt that Platinum Kitchens gets an A in all of these areas. The only issues we had, were the trips to their warehouse and other vendors (tile, granite, etc) were far away and fairly difficult to schedule, and lastly we slightly overpaid on some materials by having a middle man. Ill admit that at first, I was not thrilled about those two aspects, however the convenience of having one company there that could do everything far outweighed those two items.I would happily and without reservation tell you if you are looking to have a company that can coordinate everything as you remodel your kitchen, you will be hard pressed to find another vendor that delivers a finished product the way they do. Juan was onsite with us, and is THE man. Our new kitchen is not just beautiful, but also the functionality of it is amazing. Thank you again Platinum Kitchens for everything.

Poor service. From day one it was a nightmare--they do below average work without attention to details and messy they dont clean up. Tiles are uneven. Scratched and dented my wooden floors moving appliances. They had a incompetent team of workers who they fired the day he finished my project and didnt have the courtesy to even tell me about. My new fridge doesnt make ice because they forgot to turn the water Theyre asking me to contact fridge company to ask them to connect the water to makeup for their incompetenceMy drawer cant be pulled out completely due to poor designers plan and hits the dishwasher handleThe kitchen vent is exhausted out to my enclosed patio which I specifically told them not to do and they dont want to rectify the situationWhen asked about this management is demanding payment and threatening non warrantee of their work and cabinets. furthermore when I asked the owners contact information to discuss this further shes stating that due to family illness they are handling this and arent giving me his information??This is totally unacceptable and STAY FAR AWAY from platinum kitchens
