I can honestly say that Ive never had a more pleasant experience buying a new vehicle..My purchase was given top priority and I never felt pressured in any way.I was given more for my trade in then i was offered elsewhere and they had a great selection of trucks for me to chose from.I especially enjoyed working with Dawn Kinney who helped me evaluate several vehicles and got me into the truck of my dreams. The service on this warranty repair trip was very good, new people, good communication and inspection of the work looks great.
I took my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT 6 convertible to J-Star primarily to have the convertible roof repaired to functioning status. The roof would begin to open but stop midway through the cycle. J-Star technicians diagnosed the problem as a bad control module. There were no new units available through parts suppliers. eBay had several listed from unknown sources with widely varying prices. The lack of confidence in products sold on eBay concluded the repair attempt.The service people at J-Star were friendly and accommodating to my requests. I had to take the car back the day after I picked it up because the service technician neglected to fully reattach the panels removed for access to the work area.The overall length of time to have the problem inspected and diagnosed was a bit lengthy, one month! I suppose this was a fairly different problem than those to which they are familiar.
I had my Infinity SUV serviced this morning and was in and out very quickly!!The shop foreman personally reviewed the recommendations that his technicians had for my SUV to keep my family safe on the road.Came in for an oil change, left with a sparkling clean SUV (they hooked me up with a wash too!!) and no more pesky service lights on the dash!!!J Star rocks the house!!!!See ya for our next Service!
This place is awesome! They sold me my car at Kelly Blue Book fair price and bought my car at Kelly Blue Book fair price. Can’t beat that. They are a Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge dealership but a have a giant variety of used cars as well. The staff is very friendly and make you feel like you are a part of their family. Just wow! From the first phone conversation we had with Dawn, having Jase show us around, Billy crunching our numbers, and Chris finalizing the paperwork, everyone was so kind and professional! Took my jeep in for service and i am trying to get an update if i can pick it up during my lunch brake. apparently it is impossible to figure out if your car is ready for pick up or not. 0 commination and terrible service after you buy a car from these guys. i would be happy to remove this post if someone can call me back
The dealership is clean and everyone was friendly. My co-worker gets her Ram serviced there and she is happy with them. Price for an oil change with tire rotations is good. They sell some very nice cars, and also my favorite.....TRX. One day.

Props to Nathan our salesman who helped us finalized the deal for the 2018 AMG C63. Its the car I wanted and he helped make it happen. If you intend to purchase from here, definitely resommend him. But the cautionary tale is buyer beware. Read the fine print about accessories and dealer add ons. Negotiate, negotiate, negotiate!!!Also, not a big fan of their after sale customer service. Too many times I called for information and to finish the deal for the car...left voice-mails, text and emails and no one responded. Stay on top of the transaction from start to finish, and remember you are the customer. Dont let JStar forget that because without you, there wouldnt be a business.

The advertised price is not the real price. They dont include Cilajet coating and add another $4000! I was also told by a friend that they hit you with a dealer markup AFTER you agree to purchase. Buyer beware, you should probably take your money elsewhere.
The only reason why I’d give this place 4 instead of 5 stars is because every time I get an oil change here, they always forget to reset my oil change meter on the dashboard and never give the mileage sticker reminders anymore. Other than that, they give great car service and friendly customer service. They’re conveniently local so I’ll definitely come back !
Had the oil changed in my Chrysler 200 and it was fast, greeted, waited about 35 minutes, was ready to get back on the road. Good spot right off the 91.

This dealer does not negotiate. Bottom line, they have an inventory of used cars that look decent, but tack on this $4k fee on top of the advertised price that they are not willing to negotiate if you need it or not. We were $1k away from making a deal and they wouldnt budge. $1k!!, on a $70k car. Really?? We didnt buy the car, it came down to principal. Well take our money elsewhere.......

Very disappointed with the bait and switch, classic old school, car sales techniques used by J Star. I found a vehicle I wanted listed both on Autotrader and the J Star website for a given price (full MSRP). It met my needs and contacted the sales team to buy. After several back and forth, Ill have to ask my manager, style discussions, it turns out that J Star had added $4K of dealer options (lojack, ceramic paint coating, ...) and a $20K markup. None of this was mentioned in either listing.When I pointed out that there are consumer protection laws against this sort of behavior, the salesperson said they had a disclaimer on the site. While there is wording related to price change, the CA consumer protection laws says a business is not allowed to advertise a product or service at a particular price with the intent to sell that product or service at a higher price, or to induce customers to buy a more expensive product. So they can have all the disclaimers they want but they clearly had no intention of selling the vehicle for the advertised price (salesperson sent me pictures of the window stickers with higher prices).Since offered to pay the advertised asking price in full in cash, this really ought to have been a 5 minute deal with no pricing discussion. Instead it became another example of why people hate buying cars.

J Star was the only dealership willing to work with us for the truck and price we wanted. No hassle negotiating and no pushing us to add onto an extended warranty.My husband started the negotiations online, then through phone calls to come to a deal before we went into their facility to finalize. My husband let them know we had no problem coming in, but didn’t want to be there all day and they took care of us and respected our request. Especially with this pandemic going on. We were in and out in the perfect amount of time. We live in the Inland Empire and don’t mind driving, as long as we’re getting a good deal and J Star delivered! We highly recommend this auto center! I went to J Star for routine maintenance on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I set up my appointment online and I chose Cindy as my service advisor. I had major problems with my Jeep in the past and she was part of the service team that helped me in the past. She’s attentive to details and very caring. Traits you don’t normally see in a service department. The technicians completed the 60,000 maintenance package on my car and they recommended other maintenance I should complete in the future. My car is running well and I’m very appreciative of the work that was done on my vehicle.

STAY AWAY! They charge 3995$ dealer fees on top of the cars price. I called in to ask about the car and they told me its the advertised price plus tax plus dealer fees. Luckily, I had a good hunch and asked whats the dealer fees, to find out its a rip-off.

4K in ad- on which are non negotiable and not advertised so if your driving from a distance stay home . Staff didn’t wear masks at all. Ended up running our credit 4 times that night and 4 more times two days later without permission. All their cars are 4K overpriced.They publish online one price, that is not even cheap, and when you arrive, you find out that they add 4K for a paint treatment, alarm, and other things thar you dont need or asked for.When I told the salesman that I didnt want to loose my time doing a test drive for that price, that what they were doing is misleading advertising,he responded dont worry, will talk with my manager about the price and we can make it work.Did the test drive, I liked the car, and told him again, that if we were going to sit, well start to discuss the price starting the one published online, not the 4k overpriced one. He said Ok.I told him me credit score, and that I didnt want to fullfill all the paperwork, that only needed to know the best price that he can give me for that Honda, and for my trade in. He started to make excuses that he needed to run my credit score, all my information in order to get that, finally I accepet, and then he came requesting a huge Downpayment, without telling me how much there were going to finance. Told them that I wouldnt pay that Amount and left. I lost half day there.After that, I sent several mails asking for the total amount to be financed, or the price that they were offering me the car and they refused to tell me that, only asked me for higer downpayments everytime that I asked for that.Stay away from this dealer, not only sell super overpriced cars adding this 4K fee, they try to scam you refusing to tell you the real numbers, something so simple like how much are you taking my trade in, and how much are you selling me yours.PS: PS: nobody was wearing mask, clients and staff. The guy that talked to me, was using it under the nose, ans constantely scratching his nose and mouth.
Very positive experience. In the past, I had heard horror stories of how car salespeople could treat their customers. So as a first time car owner on the hunt, I had a good deal of anxiety around the process. But JP was patient and attentive throughout my hesitations and my questions. I didnt feel like he was pandering or overselling, he treated me with respect, and was kind from the moment we met. Im incredibly happy with my Jeep (who wouldnt be?!) and I would certainly buy from here again when the time comes!
Do not buy from these crooks unless you want to be scammed and robbed! They added additional charges to our purchase price $1495 for ELO GPS and $1495 for Cilajet I asked to have it removed as it indicated on the contract as optional and they refused its a legal matter now!!!

Not a single employee had a mask on during the Covid-19 Pandemic when we went in for service and parts today. Im not impressed at all. Employees are rude. From the service department to the parts department. Unhelpful is an understatement. I recommend choosing a different dealership for your service and parts needs. Seriously shady. $175 diagnostic fee when the vehicle is still under warranty. No, I dont think so. Wouldnt let them touch my Jeep.

I was lied to and robbed of $1,495.00 The Salesman and I agreed upon MSRP and AFTER SIGNING the Docs I asked what this strange $1,495.00 charge was on a DUE BILL and I asked to remove said ELO tracking device that I was not told about at all. They slipped it in and when I asked the owner Jared to remove and refund for this device they added without my permission He told me no and proceeded to yell at me and call me a liar. NEVER EVER GO TO JSTAR MOTORS UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE STOLEN FROM... ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY THE OWNER. A CROOKED FRAUD WHOS BOUND TO GET AN IRS AUDIT VERY SOON... CROOK.

Even though it was impossible to get a car the owner Jarred went above and beyond to help me out getting me in a 2020 charger they did the impossible calling other lots trying to get the specific car ! I would highly recommend drove all the way from San Diego recommended by one of my cousins.

One of the worst dealership experiences Ive ever had. Made an appointment for Tuesday at 8am. My original service advisor called out so I had to deal with Tom. Tom was rude barely said 2 words to me. No greeting nothing. He seemed to have this attitude that he was doing you a favor. After I explained what the problem is and showed him video he just said can I have your car keys and sign here. I asked if they showed my jeep extended warranty. He reluctantly looked it up and told me if its not covered youll still owe the 160. Thats the diagnostic fee. Whatever I left. 330pm rolls around I call and ask whats going on. My wife calls since Im at work. They tell her we cant find your car. I call again and am told we need a new part should be ready by tomorrow morning. Wednesday morning I call again to ask whats going on with my car. We wont have it ready until tomorrow. Well thanks for letting me know. Its not like I have to get to work or anything. So I ask about a loaner they said enterprise will take care of it. At this point my wife goes. Waits for 30 minutes and gets ignored. She finally asks to be helped again and Tom doesnt say anything just continues to keep talking to someone else. She finally just asks for the paperwork and he just hands it to her without saying a word. Fast forward to today Saturday, I finally get a call about picking up my car. It took 5 days to fix an ac problem and no calls or emails or updates of any kind. It seems that theyre going through some changes so well see if it gets any better anytime soon. I wouldnt hold my breath though. I say avoid this place like the plague and go somewhere with at least average service department which is still leaps and bounds better than youll find here.

I purchased a 2016 Vehicle. It was used but in great condition. The sales person and finance manager treated me well. They were willing to negotiate the price and gave me great financing terms. I would recommend J star to my friends and family.
I went for a recall, and although Nacho seems pretty reasonable, I ask him 2 times if they gonna wash the car and he acknowledged. When I picked up the car, it was unwashed. When I asked him why, he mocked me and said that he didn’t know that I wanted washed, and If I want, I can wait another 30 min..,, that after I dropped the car in the morning, and at 5 was not ready, had to pickup next day.

I have bought and trade-in 2 vehicles with them. Fair on trade-in value and excellent condition and price on both my purchases. These guys are great and very fair and helpful. The selection of cars are amazing and the price given the quality of vehicles is amazing. Even when I had to replace my high performance 22 inch tires, they got them for me for half the price others were offering. Love these guys, they are like family.
J Star has been the worst experience we have ever had with a vehicle purchase. Bought our used Ford Raptor from them back in August of 2018. I will never rely on a Carfax report either. Our truck has been in the shop more times than any vehicle should be. Thousands and Thousands of dollars in repairs. Rust holes forming in the body of the truck. Truck keeps stalling, which is a safety issue. Now we are having all repairs done by our local Ford dealer and if this last repair doesnt work at least Ford has stated they will send out one of their inspectors. I spoke to the sales managers, general manager, and the service manager at J star and the response we got basically was too bad nothing we can do. ( We have stopped contacting them in recent months as we never get anywhere with them) We are still paying for their lack of a good safety inspection. There is still a major repair that needs to be done but the warranty wont cover it and we will have to pay for it. This truck should never have been able to be sold to anyone. We dont feel safe driving this truck at all.We are stuck with a truck we bought from you and we can not trust it at all. And the response we got from Matt the used car manager at the time was well I guess you should trade it in.

I had my Jeep serviced there and recommend them to everyone who wants to be treated like theyre special. The customer service was excellent from all the staff, especially Frank in the Service dept. Even the loaner car I got was relatively new and had some nice features and has me considering buying one if I wanted an economical sedan with get-up-and-go power. But of course, Id rather buy the Hell Cat they had in the showroom. 😄 Ill be bringing my Jeep back there again whenever it needs service.
