I really enjoy interacting with the employees here. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I like that they all wear headsets so if they cant help they can find somebody immediately to help you. I definitely prefer the store!

I receive coupons in the mail I use them and just two days ago after receiving a coupon booklet I had to have a pair of gloves for work and one of the coupons was five dollars off and its purchase I was able to go and buy me a pair of glove 10 bucks and only paid five for them and got five dollars off I think thats pretty cool.

Good selection and friendly staff. I came here because they sell top of the line Benjamin Moore paint (Auora). I got a bad blend and had to return it. They didnt give me a hassle, just owned the mistake and made it right. Ill definitely keep coming back.

Great service! I went in with a purchase in mind. The customer service rep heard my idea and suggested a cheaper solution and I really appreciated it. They have a good selection of what you might think theyd have and this place is my new go-to when its time to visit ACE Hardware.

My husband and I went to this Anderson location due to being open later on a Sunday.I wanted to return an item which I had bought at another Ace Hardware in Redding. They did not carry the same item so they were unable to a accommodate my request.While we completed our shopping list the cashier had offered to just keep the return item and receipt at the front counter. We completed our shopping and checked out. I requested my receipt and my product back so I could return it at the correct Ace.The cashier had lost my receipt by that time and absolutely refused to help me out with a refund for a similar product carried at their location. Unfortunately this cashier already had a loud speaking voice and he just became louder. The “manager” on duty came and said it was not their problem they had lost the receipt.If I would not have needed what I purchased to complete some projects I would have left everything. It wasn’t a huge purchase, $100+.I just can’t recommend them based on their lack of concern.

I just love going into this place. I always am running around something that give me an idea on starting a new project. More important they will help you get what you need to repair and assist you on how to repair something it with making you feel as though you are taking up too much of their time. They are diffanitly there for you to be sure you get the job done right.

The store is well kept. Some staff know what they are talking about, other do not.The customer service in the rental department is extremely lack luster however. I have stood here without help multiple times.The guys who rent the u-haul are completely rude and I will never rent a u-haul from them again. I was given a dirty truck reeking of marijuana. When I return the truck ( from actually moving a house all of 8 miles ) they insist I stay there and sweep out the truck for them! Claiming that it was given to me clean!!!!! I argued and was threatened, as they had MY credit card on file.It was unprofessional, rude, and quite frankly illegal. GO ANY PLACE BUT HERE FOR UHAUL.

Thank you to Mike and Kent for my new rattlesnake dispatcher. They suggested and gathered supplies to make a 7 long pvc pipe with a cable looped at both ends to allow easy dispatch and removal of rattlers under my house. I feel better having this around! Thank you!

Pandemic price gouging

I didnt find everything I needed. A little disappointed, I usually find everything I need.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!! I explained my project to a worker who showed me what tool I would need. Purchased said tool and found out it was not what I needed. Went to return it and they said no because it had been used. I had original receipt, original box in perfect condition. I asked for to see the return policy and they refused to show me. Brooke the manager and Erika were awful. I always try to shop local but never again will I support this store. Its funny because they said they could not take the tool back because they would lose $150. Well now they lost my business, my friends business, my families business and my husband is in the trades and he will now tell every contractor he works with not to use Ace Hardware. Looks like they lost out on way more than $150. Home Depot is cheaper, returns are hassle free and the customer service is outstanding compared to ACE. I am all for supporting small local business but not this one.

I needed propane and got quick, friendly, and helpful service as well as the propane price was very reasonable.

Came in with a plumbing emergency. The awesome staff helped me find all the wired parts I asked for. I bought more than I needed. When i brought them back they were just as helpful even though i was a giant pain in the butt. They helped me with a smile on their face. Thanks again ladies.

This place is a little pricey but close to home and have good products.

I just had my propane bottle filled and pickup a few other items. Friendly staff, very convenient LPG refilling station. There is even a button to call for an attendant without having to go inside. Excellent services!

I have shopped here several times over the last 5 months. They almost always have what I need. Twice I have purchased the wrong item and needed to return/exchange it. The staff was super sweet and I had no issues with my returns. Being a small locally owned store I understand things are a little different than it is for a “big box/corporate” store. Ace has never disappointed me on quality or staff professionalism. I do wish some things weren’t so expensive.... :)

Alright for a local hardware store

Some products are good,. A lot are poor quality at high prices. Manager can be a bit snarky though. They are trying to compete with Home Depot. I buy things there because it would cost me more in gas to go to Home Depot...

Went here for Uhaul so a friend could rent a trailer. Took 5 minutes for the person working the rental counter to come out of the back room. When he did, he hardly said a word. Waited until the very end of getting everything entered in their system to ask for our license plate number and hitch weight rating. Seems like that should be the first thing they ask for, and at the same time, especially when there is an extra person involved. He waited until after I returned with the license number to ask about the weight rating. After completing the paperwork, he walked around the counter without saying a word and as he was walking away turned around and told us to Come on, were done here. There was no damage inspection done with either me or my friend who rented the trailer. And after the employee hitched us up, he just said Youre all set, and walked off without doing a light check. Thankfully Ive towed enough trailers to know how to do it myself to make sure I wasnt going to get a ticket due to faulty wiring. To top it off, when I unhitched at the end of the day I noticed the trailer wires were hooked between the hitch receiver and safety chains, which caused significant wear on the wiring insulation. It doesnt look like I need to make a repair, but it was something that shouldnt have happened to begin with.Returning the trailer was an entirely different experience, and why this is two stars instead of one. A different gentleman helped us with the return. As we walked up to the counter, he greeted us with a smile. He joked with my friend as we walked out to the trailer for him to inspect and give us the okay to leave. He wished us a good night and told us we could take off if we didnt want a receipt. Complete opposite of the experience just 8 hours prior.

Really cool store. I was looking at everything it would be a kid in a candy store if I were in a trade that used what they carry. I was shopping for basic items & found them on sale. Ill take hubby next time

I like going to this Ace. The staff is incredibly friendly and outgoing. The prices aren’t bad and they have a decent selection of products to choose from. I usually only need one to two things so I’m in and out pretty quick. I don’t use the rewards app so I’m not getting the full benefits of it. They have a huge selection of yard stuff which is pretty darn cool. Good selection of tools too. I’ve already commented on the staff but I have to again. There is always somebody asking if you need help.
