Bought a service warranty not thinking it would take weeks for appliances to get serviced. I received a text last Thursday from Bray and Scarff someone would call to schedule a service appointment. No one called back. After calling today the quickest someone can get out is November 2. Now my tenants are without a working washing machine for weeks and possibly months. What is the point of a service warranty if you don’t keep parts in inventory or enough employees to service your contracts you sell in a timely manner?If a part is bad on the 2nd it could be even longer. The service department can’t give out their employee Id to see who you talked with or transfer you to a manager. You just have to wait for someone to reach out to you. Which likely won’t happen since I didn’t hear from anyone last week. Now I have to relay the bad news to my tenants. I guess once you buy a entire house of appliances bray and scarff could careless about customer service or their customers.

Cant say enough about how fantastic Bray & Scarff in Annapolis was. After waiting over 6 months on appliances from Lowes, I called Bray &Scarff and not only did they have my appliances available for delivery, I could actually see them in the store first. Staff was courteous, transparent and super helpful. I am forever a Bray fan and wont let anyone I know buy appliances Anywhere else!

Horrible experience. Once they had my money, customer service ended. Item never showed on delivery day. No call, took off work for nothing. Left multiple messages, no one called back. I went here because I was worried about buying from a big box store, huge mistake.
Worse customer service in the world. We purchase a new refrigerator and it was delivered without a cooling fan. No one told us. We purchased a new double oven and it does not work properly. It moves from broil to bake all by itself and the fan does not work. I called Bray and Scarff and they refused to help me because I did not buy an extended warranty. It is brand new. They would not even call kitchen aid. In fact they refused.
I dont typically give reviews but felt strongly enough to provide one for this company. We purchased a dishwasher from Bray & Scarff in Annapolis back in Nov 2020. The purchase experience was ok....nothing to write home about but would have referred friends and neighbors if they were in the market for a kitchen appliance. Thankfully no one asked. The experience following the purchase was absolutely awful. The sales person, Chris J. told us on the day of the purchase that the dishwasher was at their warehouse and could be delivered the next week. The call to schedule the delivery never came. Weeks later, my husband called several times only to be told it still was not in the warehouse. One time, the sales person Chris said that he would call to find out status and get back to us. That call never came. After severe frustration, my husband walked into the store and spoke to Chris. Lo and Behold, the dishwasher was in the warehouse and could be delivered right away! It took almost 2-months. I will say that Chris was never rude, but never followed through with helping his client. We are preparing for a full kitchen remodel and will not step foot back into Bray & Scarff. Reviews for this company within our neighborhood also recommended staying away from this company. Wish we had seen that before we decided to buy from Bray & Scarff in Annapolis. It was hard even giving this company one star. Would not recommend. Unless you are prepared to wait or deal with frustration, we would strongly recommend to go elsewhere.

My wife and I were in need of a new washer. We live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and due to the convenience of your Annapolis store we called and talked to Annie Catalani who invited us to come visit which we did.Annie was the ultimate professional. She knew the products from her years of experience in the industry and she was just so nice. It was a wonderful buying experience.At the end she went line item by line item over the order to make sure we knew what we would be billed for and the details of the delivery. I might add we rarely ever purchase extended warranty with a new appliance, but Annie reviewed the Bray & Scarff policy of having some of the monies returned as future store credit if we do not need to service during the warranty period. She explained and we saw the value of the offering.Today, the washer was delivered on the exact date and time committed by Annie. Two very courteous and professional employees made the delivery and hooked up the washer - Terrell and Stephen. I was surprised they even did some test cycles just to make sure all was working perfectly.The excellent buying and delivery experience will assure we will always think of Bray and Scarff for any future appliance needs.
When my washing machine broke a couple weeks ago, I called Bray and Scarff after being told by another appliance store that I would have to come in in person.Thank goodness for this store and for Mr. Ron Hutchinson, who helped me select and purchase my new washing machine over the phone, and miraculously we were able to set up delivery within a week. He was responsive, professional, competent, and courteous at all times.Amazing! What wonderful life saver - especially during 2020. Thank you, Bray And Scarff - Columbia MD! Great service makes all the difference! Despite all the Covid19 craziness, we needed to get a new freezer. Bray & Scarff made it so easy. I went online and looked at a couple of different kinds, then called the store. Tom, our sales rep, walked me through my options and promised a delivery on Tuesday, right after the holiday. I could check online to see exactly when the delivery would happen minute by minute on our delivery date and the guys were right on time. They were competent and professional. The install was a breeze. Later I had a hiccup with the rebate firm and called Tom to see if he could help. He got it taken care of in record time as well. I would recommend Bray & Scarff in a heartbeat. We love our new freezer, and really appreciate the excellent customer service!
Updating my review because the purchase and installation process through this location really is excellent. We had an issue with our range when it stopped working and had a rather arduous experience trying to work with the service department trying to get it repaired through the warranty. After 45 days of no oven or stovetop (thank heavens Im nursing and dont need to boil bottles), they took the broken unit and replaced it with the floor model from the store. I dont know if the issues were solely Covid-related on the manufacturers end, or what, but the bottom line is that we now DO have a working range and for that we are grateful. More transparency and follow-through on returning calls are *definitely* needed, especially from the service department. Buyer beware--purchase and install are great, but dont bother with their warranty. Just go with the manufacturers policy, especially during Covid.
Our new GE Profile refrigerator was delivered on Saturday, 1/9/21. The 2 men who were here did an outstanding job bringing it into our house and installing it into our kitchen. I would like to commend these two for how well and efficient they were. Kudos to Kevin and Elber for their professional skill at getting this job done so well, from start to finish and in such a short time. Much thanks to them. My washer died so I needed a replacement fast. We made an appointment at the Annapolis store for the same day. Mickia was our salesperson and very knowledgeable and professional. She was able to show me exactly the machine I was looking for, arranged delivery for two days later and we were finished and out if the store in 30 minutes. The delivery people Tyrell and Steven where polite, on time, took care not to damage anything when removing the old machine and bringing in the new one and were very quick and professional. It was a wonderful experience and everyone we dealt with was great. Highly recommend Bray & Scarff!
A great service experience with Stephanie Yuhas. I got the best price for both of these Bosch appliances. The time line was exactly what I was told for a delivery date, followed by a call the night before to provide delivery time of between 10 - 2 pm 6 June. Both Ben and his delivery partner were great, on time, neat, and helpful. I gave each man a $50.00 tip, as I really appreciated their willingness to remove each appliance for me to visually inspect for any potential damage that can occur during transporting between factory, distributors, and end users myself. Highly recommend.

They were too high end for us.. So we thought. Did not like the overall ambiance, and attitude of employees. Went to Appliance Land where we got better service, and very good information on various makes of appliances. Think we are leaning towards a high end appliance suite afterall.

I bought a freezer and it was on back order. Christian (Annapolis store) was the salesman and he provided timely status updates. When the freezer arrived it was promptly delivered and set up. The next time I need an appliance Im calling Christian.
We bought a nice appliance from them but the communication including followup was very poor. When visiting the store in Annapolis you can stand there for a long time before anyone acknowledges your presence and currently its appointment only. We understand businesses are being challenged right now but they should still have a focus on customer service. There were complications with the installation (the installers were considerate) that cost us more that was not determined by their staff member during the pre-installation visit. There was no followup after installation to determine if we were satisfied. It would appear they favor the big remolding jobs vs single appliance sales. Weve had better all around experiences with the big chain stores and well back to them in the future.
We purchased a kitchenaid microwave at bray and scarff. we had purchased an extended warranty. the door latch broke. it was still functional but i was afraid the whole latch would go. i tried to get it fixed in spring 2020. a service person came out, and a new latch was ordered. we never heard back. probably a disruption due to the pandemic. i called about a month later, and was told my maintenance request would be checked on, but again never heard back.i called again this week, and was pleased to be ably assisted by a customer agent, nicole. she pursued my issue, and kept me informed. she just told me that she would be able to get my door attended to, and soon.so, hopefully, alls well that ends well. thanks bray and scarff!

Risk free added warranty was a good add.Delivery was timely and easy. As usual, the crew they sent did a top notch job.Follow up was also great as the instructions for getting the delivery charges rebated were not clear enough.

This is kind of a 2 part review. First my salesperson was Mickia. And I must say she has worked tirelessly to help resolve my issues. She is outstanding to deal with. Back in August I purchased a cook top, dishwasher, refrigerator, beverage cooler, oven microwave combo. All kitchen Aid products. The cook top and dish washer was in stock so i took them that day. Mickia said estimated delivery on the other appliances was mid Sept. That got pushed back until Oct. Then I got a call from someone (Not Mickia) saying my beverage cooler and refrigerator was in and would be delivered on Thursday. So I sold my old refrigerator the day before. Needless to say there was a mix up and my refrigerator was not in stock and wasnt delivered. You can only imagine the situation. So Monday morning first thing I was waiting at the door of the Annapolis store. Mickia went to work right away trying everything possible to help me resolve the issue. she looked for a loaner to no avail. Then she started calling all the other stores that had the refrigerator I ordered as a floor model. after 3 attempts the 4th was a charm. and my refrigerator was delivered the following Thursday. There was a few small issues since I now purchased a floor model but Brayer & Scarff is taking care of the issues. If Mickia hadnt pursued this the way she did now the estimated delivery of the model fridge i ordered is months away.No of the issues with delivery dates are the fault of my sales person or Brayer & Scarff This covid-19 issues has just about every business having trouble meeting supply demands and delivery dates. Giving you guys 5 stars only because of the customer service provided to me by Mickia. I can only hope all your staff works as hard as she does trying to resolve issues that arise with customer service.Ill update this after I see how the service dept handles things
Stephanie was very nice, however we had a lot of difficulty with delivery- the staff were rude- we paid for installation and take away and they were annoyed they had to take the appliances away. Trying to pick up an appliance that was late at the warehouse was absolutely so unnecessarily ridiculous- the process to get your appliance was not communicated well. Overall poor Experience.
Mikea really helped us out of a jam. We had a family emergency and needed to leave town when our refrigerator stopped working. The repair would cost $820 with no guarantee when the parts would arrive (could be weeks). Mikea found a new Kitchenaide side-by-side replacement that is perfect and delivery is the next day. The only part about my purchase that went smoothly was the delivery. The entire process from purchase to measuring to install scheduling was ridiculous. Your employees in the Annapolis store are not trained and management was condescending. All this after trying to spend over 4k on three appliances. I cancelled my microwave and Im buying it elsewhere. I thought Bray and Scarff was known for great customer service. Mine was a consistent zero.

My dishwasher died out of the blue and, before I headed over to a big box store, my mom suggested checking out Bray & Scarff first. So glad I did! Walked in, saw just what I needed (for much less than the same model at the other store and about the same as the far lower-quality item I was actually looking at the other store), helpful gentleman got me hooked up right at closing time and delivery, install, and haul-away happening tomorrow (3 days later!). HIGHLY recommend! :)
The prices on my microwave were the same at all the big stores including Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Best Buy. I bought here because I thought I’d get better service—I did everything on the phone and didn’t go into the store. I’ve been completely unimpressed. First, I was told I had to pay $50 for delivery and would be rebated when they came to do the installation. None of the other stores had a similar charge and this fee made B&S more expensive. I found out later it’s an actual rebate form I have to mail in, which is a total pain in the neck. This would have been a dealbreaker if I knew that. Secondly, you don’t get a time window for the service until after 5 pm the day before. This is really inconvenient when you’re trying to plan your day. I was told that I could track the truck to get a better idea of the time they’d arrive within my 7am-11am window, but when I tried that it gave no useful information—it says I’m the first stop but it’s 8:45 and no sign of them. And no one answers the phone at the store and there is no option to leave a voicemail. Literally it just rings and rings with no message at all. The manager at the Annapolis store was very defensive when I called to share my thoughts In regards to the scheduling. Hopefully the installation will go better than what I’ve experienced so far!
Bought my microwave here because the price was the same as other discount stores and I assumed they’d provide better service and installation since they are a specialty store. It’s Late afternoon the day prior to when my microwave is supposed to be delivered and installed, and I still don’t have a arrival time. Very disappointing.
I visited this store with my aunt. Shes a little older so she takes me with her when she shops to make sure shes not being taken advantage of. She was looking for a washer and dryer. The staff there was super friendly and extra helpful. They were also very knowledgable about the products they carry. The prices were reasonable and she found just what she needed. I personally have a background in retail and people hardly do the survey when they have a good experience, but if it was bad theyre quick to share. So I thought I submit this on behalf of my aunt. Keep up the great service!

Just out of curiosity I went into Bray and Scarff because I saw the sign in the parking lot advertising Kitchens and Appliances. I was pleasantly greeted by the staff. And although I expressed that my building process being several months out would not allow me to make any purchases at this time; they were more than willing to assist me with information not only on appliances but with the design of my kitchen.Ms Barr the Appliance Specialist and Ms Scardina the Kitchen Designer were very pleasant and informative. I plan to return in a couple of months to work with Bray and Scarff!

If you are needing appliances this is the place to go. I drove three hours because my neighbor spoke very highly of sales associate Mickia. My appliance purchase could not of gone any smoother and my new Wolfe kitchen looks amazing!
Salesman had to look up answers to all question on the public website, or just couldnt answer. For example, it doesnt matter which breaks more often, because I can sell you a warranty.So far, my delivery has been cancelled twice, both times with less than 24 hours notice, after Id taken off work. Salesman wont talk about giving me some of my money back, and wont connect me to a manager.
We needed an upright 16 cu ft freezer with a reversible door for an in-house location at the right price and reasonable delivery. After checking several vendors in the area Bray & Scarff had what we needed - a Maytag freezer. None of the other vendors could match this.

Absolutely horrible. Spent $6000 on new appliances. Was told by the salesman that the microwave we bought would work as an in the cabinet piece. Well, apparently it wont work. And after calling this store we were told to pound sand. If its new in the box you can try and sell it online. REALLY?!?! Thats what $6000 gets you?!?!

During the Presidents Day sale, we bought a GE washer and dryer at an INCREDIBLE deal. The staff was excellent, especially the gentleman Alex who helped us out. He was very thorough when responding to our questions. One of our biggest concerns was energy efficiency. At first my significant other and I were having difficulty finding both what we liked as well as both the washer and dryer being energy efficient. Alex guided us in the right path, as we found a matching Energystar washer and dryer that we all agreed was perfect!The delivery and installation team was excellent too! They were on time, efficient, knowledgeable and out of here in no time. Mikia Barr was patient and worked with us to find the right appliances. After our initial visit into the Annapolis store, we worked solely via email to complete the sale. She was professional & knowledgeable. When I went in to pay by check, Mikia was not working that day, but another sales rep efficiently & quickly completed the sale for us with a smile. Bought 7k worth of kitchen appliances and had a problem with my dishwasher. GE repair came out and advised the problem was the result of improper installation. I called and was told we were 1 month out of the warranty period and out of their service area. Ended up having to pay to have the problem fixed. I had no idea the dishwasher was installed wrong, I just thought the door was hard to close sometimes. Called and talk to managers and nothing. Dont buy here and if you live in Calvert county steer clear of this company they do not serve you once they sale you....
Came in with a girlfriend about a week ago to look at some appliances for her house her and her husband are building. There were so many options we were having a tough time making a decision. Couldn’t believe that we had such a helpful experience from Mickia. She asked us if we needed help and surprisingly she didn’t call for an associate to help us, she stayed and assisted us with no problem- and she’s the store manager! Talk about great service. We were very happy with our experience at Bray and Scarff,they had a large selection of items on display where other places we went had very limited items on display so we were able to see what we were buying. Our sales person Annie Catalani professional and experienced and we were pleasantly surprised that the prices were comparable to other places.
I went to the Annapolis location earlier in the week and honestly, my first contact was not very knowledgable and I left feeling that it was just another store.After doing my own research on appliances, I decided to return yesterday for their one day Black Friday sale. While I asked for the original employee, I was delighted to find that she was not there and that Stefanie would be handling my purchase. Wow! What a difference! Stefanie was thorough and quite knowledgable. My questions were all answered (and through my research, I found she answered correctly, unlike the first sales person)I appreciated the selection, the great prices and the rebates offered. Definitely ask for Stefanie!!!

Greg, the manager from the Annapolis store was recommended to me by my realtor because she was very satisfied with the service. Greg assisted me with switching out all of my kitchen appliances that turned out to be awesome. They looked so beautiful in my kitchen! Then he helped me find the perfect washer and dryer sight unseen for my new house because I trusted his judgement. I love them, they were the best fit for my space and for the performance. The customer service is outstanding and the delivery staff are excellent in what they do. I will always buy appliances from Bray and Scarff of Annapolis. I have recommended the store to my friends and family. I would tell anyone needing appliances to call Bray and Scarff of Annapolis.Thanks Greg.
Bray and Scarff is amazing. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The show room is beautiful and they have a great selection.Mike is great - he is willing to take all the time you need to make sure youre getting exactly the product(s) that you want. He was very helpful in explaining all the features of my new washer and dryer.
Excellent experience! Installer Kevin and his crew were extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the product. Set everything up and provided a full briefing. Feel like I dont have to read the manual. Kevin let us know how things were going as he installed, providing information as he went. Even returned flower pots and doormat to original positions. Exact positions.Definitely a positive ambassador to Bray and Scraff.
The customer service here is outstanding, my mom had work done to her home and decided to update some of her appliances, my mom is elderly and everyone from the sales team to the delivery people were extremely helpful and pleasant!

Sales associate seemed lost, many mistakes were made from a incorrect shipping address to incorrect charges/billing.We still purchased because of the sale but BUYER beware, make sure to carefully review all paperwork prior to providing payment.
