Five stars, definitely. My partner and I tried the vegan ice cream and were really impressed. The servers behind the counter were super friendly. There is a bathroom in the back, and we were able to find seats inside for just a minute while we got started on our ice cream.Shown is strawberry-chocolate chip (vegan!) which tasted fantastic, and chocolate. Generous helpings and a nice texture.

I love as does the family local ice cream parlors. Quaint little shop with rotating fresh made flavors from coffee to cookie monster to pumpkin cheesecake. The ice cream is amazing and does not taste overly sweet.

One of my favorite ice cream shops in the U.S., and Ive been in every state. Definitely in my top 10 ice creams of all time. This ice cream has a flavor and texture that is quite addictive. Please dont change a thing and always keep Sweet Cream as it is my favorite, so simple yet so full of flavor. Only negative is it is 2 hours away from me and sometimes the wait can be quite long.

Every time weve ever been here, the ice cream never disappoints. Its smooth, flavorful and delicious. Along with a lot of downtown Annapolis businesses, they dont offer military discount (which is a bummer for numerous reasons). Customer service is usually ok but needs improvement, theyre not very friendly and our family could have done without the explicit version of hip hop music playing on their overhead sound system. Overall, the ice cream is the star of the show here.

We came in for the first time today and can say, hands down, it was some of the best Ive cream weve ever had. We tried their Cookie Monster flavor and were really impressed...we were still talking about it on our ride home. Well be sure to make a stop in again the next time were in town.

Hands down, the best ice cream in downtown Annapolis! 10/10 would recommend. Flavors were amazing, and the Vegan options were a very nice added touch.Can’t go wrong with their hand made milkshakes or cookie sandwiches either!

The ice cream here is unbelievable. I tried Banana, Chocolate Notela, Peanut Butter Vanilla and Strawberry Notella. All were super delicious. Strongly recommend and I will definitely come back.

Yeow! What good ice cream and how thoughtfully delivered it was. We sat outside on a nice bench enjoying ourselves in spite of the crowds. Go here and do your sweet tooth a favor. My sea-salted caramel vanilla cup was deliriously good and my companion was so happy with his strawberry that we determined to have this treat BEFORE lunch. With life as uncertain as it has ever been, if youre over 50, theres nothing wrong with dessert coming first on some days!!

Would give 5 stars if there were more oat milk/almond milk/cashew milk, etc. vegan options. I tried the vegan chocolate peanut butter & oreo strawberry. Neither one seemed to have much vegan milk in them but they were tasty! I applaude AICC for having them though!! I would just prefer a creamier version.

THE BEST FOR 14 YEARS!!!This is a little hole in the wall ice cream parlor. It is by far, the most amazingly, delicious ice cream ever!!!If your in the area you have to try the Chocolate Oreo, sooo good!Its not the cheapest I ever had, but the do give huge portions. Its totally worth the extra buck!A sweet treat is the SPOONS. Yes, you get to decorate your own spoon that will be forever hung on the wall.

A great bargain and delicious. We are normally Brusters fans so were a little hesitant to try a tourist ice cream shop on the main drag downtown, boy were we wrong!!! The price is exactly the same as Brusters (a little under $6 for two HUGE scoops - more ice cream quantity than Brusters for sure). The single scoop on a cone was actually two scoops. But none of that matters if it doesnt taste good, and this delivered - all of our flavors were LOADED with goodies of all kinds. I will say the flavor of the ice creams themselves were a little less intensely obvious than some other places (ex. my Raspberry Oreo had a more subtle raspberry flavor). Anyhow, we were all thrilled and will definitely be back - I think my single scoop of Raspberry Oreo probably had 5 cookies mixed up into it. Definitely dont miss it!!

Ice cream was good, 1 of the flavors had a gritty icey texture to it, maybe it was older and had not been ordered much that day and had a layer of ice on it. Despite that that it still had a great flavor. Only real downside was it Felt like we were being rushed to order and it wasn’t even busy when we were there. There was no one waiting in line after us.

The lemonade blueberry ice cream tastes like fruit loops. Pretty sure it is fruit loops because they also sell a fruit loop ice cream. The flavor was a big let down. They did give generous portions though.

Why doesnt Maryland have more ice cream joints? They all seem to have congregated in Annapolis. I guess that makes it easier to visit them when theyre all in the same place, but then I have to eat many scoops of ice cream. Perhaps they could borrow from the wineries and organize an ice cream trail. I think folks would dig something like that. Bonus: all that walking helps burn off ice cream calories. Win-win. They could offer tastings and then I would get to try a variety of flavors. Annapolis Ice Cream Company strikes a nice balance between not enough variety and too many to choose from. And their ice cream is pretty good, too.

The ice cream is good and there are lot of solid flavor options. They even have a few vegan options. We really liked that they follow very good safety protocols and the service is very friendly, even towards the end of the day. Definitely it remains the best ice cream in Annapolis.

Amazing ice cream flavors and very friendly people. Try the fruity pebbles and vanilla heath. Don’t forget to add hot fudge! Totally amazing!! Coffee chocolate chip was a little bitter and so was chocolate Oreo flavor. But the others were amazing especially Apple Pie flavors topped with walnuts. Yummmm!!!

Loved this place....under previous management. Last night I was there and it was the slowest service ever. There was only two people behind the counter and one was ONLY fulfilling mobile orders making the one serve a line of 15 people.Ice cream is still good but service has dropped. We definitely miss the local feel it used to have.

Have you ever heard the term a hole in the wall? Well this is it, but with the biggest flavor! If youre ever in Annapolis, stop by and try their Cocolate Chip its so good. Today I tried the Coconut Chocolate Chip and tomorrow Im trying Vanilla Nutella. Their servings are ridiculous good! 1 scoop is their smallest, but you could serve 2 people with one. They have a tradition in which you can design your own spoon and they put them up on the wall.

I had the most wonderful first time visit. All of the ice cream flavors were there that I could think of and more. I ordered Blackberry Cobbler and Black Raspberry. Sooooo delicious and you can tell that its homemade. I will visit again. Some flavors change daily while others are not. Definitely worth the money!!

They have a lot of unique and fun flavors here. It’s definitely high quality and the ice cream we had was tasty. It’s just not a very fun experience ordering there, when I went the shop smelled like toilet cleaner which kinda made me lose my appetite.

The best original ice cream flavors around. Not only cookies & cream, but unique flavors such as fruity pebbles and Captain Crunch ice cream are available. Thirty or so flavors were available when I visited, but they appear to rotate which flavors are being offered from time to time, so its always worth a look if youre in the area to see what they have that day.

The place is pretty small with a few tables. The staff works pretty fast and you do not have to wait in the line too long. However, the ice cream is just average. I tried several flavors: blueberry, lime, lemon and chocolate. Blueberry tasted like a plain creamy ice cream, lime and lemon were lacking flavor but they were just a little bit sour. Chocolate was the best amomg all, but not the best I have ever had. All of them were too sweat and felt like they were made out of the same base by just adding some coloring. The guy at the register was so kind to change my blueberry ice cream with chocolate for free when I complained about it.

I visited Annapolis Ice Cream Company for the first time today. I knew I wanted ice cream and some kind of peanut butter ice cream. When I got there, the staff was nice and very helpful. They offered me several varieties and toppings. They even have peanut butter ice cream! I chose the vanilla ice with peanut butter cup toppings, but they were all out of toppings, so I chose the peanut butter moose track ice cream and had caramel drizzle on top.The ice cream comes in a small cup, which I did not think was enough for me. I tasted it and the ice cream was delicious, fresh and as a handmade ice cream should taste. To my surprise, the cup of ice cream was enough for me and had me more than satisfied. I will definitely be coming back to visit. It was soooooo goood! 🍨🍧😋😋😋😋

The ice cream was just nasty, I got lemon poppy with some kind of blueberry and it was just nasty it tasted like mint and I didn’t even get mint . My boyfriend got peanut butter Oreo Nd all he tasted was peanut butter. And my sister had just vanilla and she didn’t like it. And we never been here and we asked for help on flavors the girls was looking at us crazy We spent 20 bucks on ice cream that wasn’t so great. Maybe the other flavors taste better

The Captain Crunch ice cream is the best! They make flavored ice cream from the base ingredients and dont cut corners! Tastes great, but it is over $4 for a single cone

Delicious ice cream. You have to try this place. I got a vanilla shake and it was creamy and smooth. We also tried the cinnamon ice cream which was packed with flavor. Later that night I went back again for a coffee milkshake and I cant wait to visit again soon to get more. So many amazing flavor combinations that its hard to choose one. We are obsessed with this place. It is pretty much a given that every time we go to downtown Annapolis, we are hitting up Annapolis Icecream Co. They have tons of flavors, including really yummy vegan flavors made from coconut milk usually, and the option for FREE rainbow sprinkles on top of your Icecream! Such a fun idea!

Both traditional and unique flavors. Strawberry Cheesecake is delicious with coconut chip, on the level. We as a group tried eleven flavors not one less than a 5 star version of flavor. Samples are free and plentiful to help you decide on a flavor. Great ice cream.

The new owners took over a couple months ago and claimed they were keeping the same recipes and everything the same, however this is not true. It’s not at all the same and I’m honestly very disappointed. I don’t think it’s very fair for all of the accomplishments of the old owners to be used and put up by the new owners (ex. Voted best ice cream in Annapolis 20XX). It might have the same name, but this is not the same ice cream that I’ve been enjoying for over 10 years. However, employees are extremely kind and there is a vast amount of flavors for a good price.

The amount of ice cream per scoop is notably above average, however the quality definitely lacks compared to some if the local alternatives. Staff is friendly but the flavor options are pretty standard and, again, lackluster flavor wise compared to shops a minutes walk down the road.

Love the ice cream! It’s my favorite in Annapolis - one thing I’d change though is you can’t see the ice cream anymore since they covered it up! Please remove the covers so we can see the taste we love again 😊

Fabulous homemade ice cream and amazing staff!!!

Amazing! The line was slightly out the door when we arrived. They moved fast though. Many flavors to choose from and you can sample the flavors. Oreo, strawberry cheesecake and the chocolate fudge brownie are delicious. A couple ahead of us in line suggested we try the Captain Crunch. We did: and it tastes just like the cereal. Be prepared to stroll thi the waterfront by parking 2-hours; or grab and go with the 30 minute meter.

Came here with my wife after grabbing lunch elsewhere and walking around the area. Decided to give this place a try based on their reviews. The line was almost out the door, but I dont typically have a problem waiting.I got the chocolate chip cookie dough. It was pretty good, but didnt amaze me or had me wanting more.

Good God! May be the best ice cream I ever had. Single scoop serving was plenty. If you like ice cream, give this place a shot. You will be happy.
