My husband and I were introduced to Sandy Pony Donuts at the preview screening of Dune at Columbia AMC a couple of weeks ago. The Dune-nut was very tasty and we made a note of the business name. Fast forward to 10/31, we stopped by Sandy Pony Donuts in Annapolis to pick up some post-race treats (Hubby ran the Bay Bridge Run). I stayed with the classics: Glazed and Big Pearl. Hubby got the Blueberry Pie, Sand Dune and Misty Mint. The donuts were made-to-order, warm, tender, slightly chewy...mmmmm! Very friendly staff, quick transaction - we would absolutely purchase from this business again! P.S. the donuts were consumed in the car on the drive home. :-)

Ive had donuts all over the country, and these are the best. Fresh fried, melt in your mouth chunks of heaven. Never too sweet, perfect size. We love going to Chincoteague for them, its become a tradition. There will probably be a line, as there should be with all the best things. Theyre worth it!

So I meant to take a picture once I got in the car. Unfortunately, because the donuts were so warm and smelled so delicious I totally forgot and remembered as I was done eating. Ordered the Yabba Dabba, cookies n cream, and the pony party. The one that surprised me the most was the pony party, the strawberry glaze did not over power the donut and worked well with the sprinkles. The fact that the donuts were warm made the whole experience delicious. Cant wait to try the rest.Update: we went for more :-D

Finally got to try this place! Got a dozen donuts & the lady was super sweet + her recommendation was yummy. The donuts are soft yet have a nice crisp to them. The bacon donut is by far my favorite, I love the combo.

Best donuts in Annapolis hands down, this is my favorite place to go for breakfast. They have an amazing selection of different flavors to choose from. Wish they had a better location in Annapolis because I feel like theyre easily missed but are well worth finding!

Had a fabulous visit today and was wowed by the owner and his business friend from Loony Bin BBQ. Delicious combo of donut meets East Carolina pulled pork was my meal of choice before a movie. Definitely get there, both places, if you get a chance.Sandy Pony Donuts has unique flavors that are as beautiful to the eye as they are to the palette. Fun names followed by toppings will just leave you undecided for quite some time. Very much worth the cost because they are made fresh to order. Phenomenal, these were so good and at a great price. I got a chocolate and a fruity pebbles one and they came straight out if the fryer. Again these were amazing and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Also the dark roast coffee was great. All in all a great experience.

Got a donut and a chai tea while waiting for my car to be serviced at the Subaru across the street. Big delight to my day! The fruity pebble donut was freshly made and really warm! The dude serving me was really helpful and nice! Might come back just for that chai tea!

I don’t possibly think there is a place that serves better donuts. The frosting to donut ratio is beyond perfect. The flavor selection is immaculate. I don’t possibly think there is a more heavenly sensation than consuming one of these pastries right as they hand the box to you and you can feel the warmth of the fresh donuts. These guys have nailed it; so much so that it’s almost rude to even think about comparing these to Dunkin’

I at first was a little disappointed with the size of the donut, but it turns out that the deliciousness makes up for the size 100%! So fluffy and warm, and I definitely recommend going for the bacon ;) Coming back for sure!

Hot fresh donuts with a ton of topping options is always a win in my book! Theyve also got açai bowls and bubble tea. So plenty of options for everyone. The Charlie Brown, a peanut butter frosted and chocolate chip topped vanilla donut was a big hit with my wife and I. I really want to go back for a mint Oreo donut soon though.

Best donuts I have found anywhere near here! Love this place. Their donuts are made hot and fresh when you order them (it was quick, too)! Their flavors and toppings are unique and amazing. I haven’t tried many yet but Ms Sandy is my current favorite. A few clean little tables to sit down, and incredibly friendly staff. I’d like to try their açaí bowls, they look awesome! They also have bubble tea. I ordered strawberry and got my husband mango. The mango was a little better than the strawberry and I know all places make theirs differently but overall I would not recommend their bubble tea as it is a bit watery and lacking in flavor for my tastes. I will be back as soon as I can!

Stopped in to check it out and was pleasantly surprised to discover they are served freshly baked and topped to order. Was a little apprehensive when I saw they were cake donuts since in some places those can be stale but these were amazing! These did not last the weekend as planned and we ended up finishing the whole box in one sitting. Well worth the food coma!

Sandy Pony Donuts are delicious! Finding a (good) gluten free donut has been a huge challenge for me in the last eight years since developing an allergy to wheat/gluten. Their gluten free donuts are amazing and the owner made sure of inform me about their process of making the donuts, cross contamination and what flavors would be safe. When I’ve ordered in store the employees are very careful in the preparation to avoid cross contamination. My husband and family are also huge fans of their regular donuts!

This is a true hidden gem. The doughnuts look and taste amazing. You can expect excellent service in a timely manner considering the doughnuts are made to order and come hot.

Oh my goodness, how did I not know earlier in the pandemic that its possible to get fresh, warm, fluffy donuts delivered to my door?! These donuts are absolutely amazing, and you can get them delivered with Uber Eats. This was the last donut place in town that I hadnt tried yet since moving back here, and they are by far the BEST. I love cake donuts, and these are beyond perfection. We ordered the top flavors dozen donuts and an acai bowl, which was also delicious. My favorite was the oreo topped one, and my husband loved the porky pony (seriously, who doesnt love bacon?!). My kids liked the ones with sprinkles and with mini chocolate chips. I cannot recommend these enough, and absolutely nothing is better for a lazy day-after-christmas treat when youre stuck in quarantine than opening the door to retrieve a warm box of goodies.

I loved my first visit here. They gave me a great assortment of delicious fresh donuts. The staff was courteous too. Cant wait to go back.

We used Sandy Pony for our wedding to add to our cake. They are very responsive, and great customer service. I was able to order a lot of donuts with ease. I had some help to find out what was popular when I wasnt sure what flavors to get or how many flavors to have at a wedding. Very affordable and they tasted amazing of course. I definitely recommend them for your donut needs.

My coworkers and I received a dozen of these as a gift to our office. Here are our favorites (in no particular order):Seafoam (Glazed with Coconut): Incredible, 5/5. The coconut shavings were huge and sweet, but the glaze was thick enough that they didnt flake off the donut. Would definitely recommend to any coconut fan.Porky Pony (Maple Bacon): Can I give 6/5? If I have a coronary later this week, it will have been worth it.Misty Mint: (Mint Glaze + Mini Choc Chip): Tremendous, 5/5. I like the idea of the chips instead of mixing the glaze differently; it gave the otherwise soft donut a little interesting texture.Salted Caramel (Caramel Pretzel): 4/5 for me. I went in hoping that the pretzels would have been crunchy, but I think (probably due to the cooking process?) that they were supposed to be but got a bit soggy instead. I also understand that they were made fresh, so they might have been crunchier while fresh but got a bit soggy on the drive.Pony Party (Strawberry Sprinkles): 3/5. I am normally a huge sprinkle fan but the sprinkles were a little chalky, and I didnt really taste strawberry. The glaze was still good, though.Cookies & Cream (Glazed with Oreo Crumble): 5/5. I visited this local shop for the fist time last weekend and will most definitely be back for more! These are some of the best donuts I have had the pleasure of tasting. It was really neat to see the cooks make the donuts fresh, right in front of us! The gentleman who took our order was explaining the process and answering our questions. I found the customer service to be extraordinary. Everything is made to order so they are hot and tasty. The seasonal flavors were apple cider and pumpkin spice, both delicious! Cant wait to make another trip to Sandy Pony!

Still hot and made to order is obviously a plus, but the raw (plain) one was already too sweet, making the Ms. Sandy (glazed with cinnamon?) over the top sweet. If you love crazy sweet desserts, maybe this is for you.

Love this place. My favorites are banana coconut and the cinnamon bacon one. I always get the coconut bubble tea. I do understand why people dont like the bubble tea here because it is not typical or traditional but it still tastes good so I dont see the problem 🤷‍♀️. I dont find it overpriced considering your doughnut is literally made when you order it and warm throughout the car ride home. I have to say the few negative reviewers seem like they would be hard-to-please customers at any establishment.

Such a wonderful experience, Went for the first time and my order was not correct when I got home and looked in the box. So disappointed. Then I made a call to tell them and the Manager drove us out a correct order and gave us some coupons! This is great service and wonderful donuts! the porky pony was amazing!

Weve been here a dozen times and always a great experience. Try the Pony Pile - a warm donut with ice cream, a great after dinner treat or anytime. These donuts are wonderful! Hot, moist, a variety of flavors and better than that other beach donut place. The owners are often there and so friendly!

Im a huge fan of fresh, hot donuts, especially when theyre made to order. I seek out establishments who offer these when I travel, but had no idea there was one so close to home. Sandy Point is spacious so youre not crammed against other customers. Its also clean and the decor is appealing--it was cool, for example, to read the history and components of bubble tea. Speaking of which: the bubble tea is really good; I had the mango variety. The staff is efficient and friendly, and theres enough selection in the donuts to return multiple times without repeats, even if youre getting a half dozen. It will be hard to refrain from patronizing Sandy Point daily!

The donut experience here is very different than at a Dunkin. At Sandy pony you have a base donut and they put flavored glazes and toppings on each one. I tried nine different flavors and they were all delicious. The service was quick, extremely courteous and helpful. The donuts were to die for. I highly recommend.

Great service! Excellent donuts! Wish they had a gluten free option. We were worried they were gone but are happy to learn theyre moving to a better soon location and hopefully parking will be better. We hear they will reopen February 2017.

Amazing donuts. I had one yesterday with my fiancee and we were floored by the taste. I had the banana/oreo donut. It was pure goodness. The donuts are smaller compared to other donut shops but the taste is what matters. I will definitely be coming back soon.

I. LOVE. SANDY. PONY. They have the best donuts I have ever eaten. I go there frequently. I go multiple times a day. The people who work there recognize me and my friend. If they had a frequent buyer card, Id use it religiously. I once spent my entire paycheck on sandy pony, and I have no regrets (the electricity shut off but oh well.. Priorities) The only way they could possibly improve is to be open 24/7, and I surely would be there 24/7. I have such a love for sandy pony I always leave a tip in the tip jar every time I I to show my gratitude to the people who work there and thank whoever opened the shop up, because you have brightened my life up with these donuts they have honestly made me so happy. If I won the lottery I would use the money to not only buy tons of donuts but to open up my own stores solely so I would have access to these donuts in demand because I couldnt imagine anything better ❤️❤️I LOVE ALL OF YOU AT SANDY PONY!!!

Well....First time here. And I must say that i am so incredibly grateful that these little morsels of yumminess are not any bigger, it gives me room to try more than one and not feel like the human version of a Porky Pony.I bought a dozen assorted flavors, have tasted 2 so far and having trouble not reaching for more.They are every bit of all the great descriptions so far.I think I will go home with the rest of my box and put myself into the happiest donut coma ever! 😁

I discovered them while driving to work one morning and after having the Ms. Sandy, the Sand Dune and the Banana Coconut, I have fallen IN LOVE with this place. The donuts are made to order therefore they are warm and gooey when you get them. Nothing like them in the area...if you get the chance check them out!
