Brought my son, who has special needs, to fill a Koala bear for his grandma. He has a rare brain condition that makes his brain smooth, which is similar to that of a koalas, which is why we chose it.The people there were super helpful, kind, and energetic. Thank you to everyone who helped us get his bear put together!

Great place but a little pricey. But hey, who can put a dollar value on a childs teddy bear that will bring comfort to a child during a thunderstorm or security during everyday things. Plus your child gets to make their own. I wish they had one around when I was a child. I highly recommend!!!

We went to Build a Bear for my daughters 2nd birthday and she absolutely loved it. There was an amazing deal and we left with two! Staff was helpful and pleasant

My daughter had left gift cards she had bought last time at the store. Sales person remembered her and they had kept the cards.

Great place for a personalized stuffed animal. From Pokémon Harry Potter to Baby Yoda. Staff is very friendly and they seem to enjoy what they do. It makes the experience for the kids awesome. I would highly recommend going.

We went with our almost 4 year old for our yearly Build-a-Bear trip, figuring we would take extra precautions given the Covid-19 pandemic. We went in armed with hand sanitizer and our masks, but were also greeted by a wonderful staff of people who did a great job of ensuring the safety of their guests with their easy to follow signs and directions throughout the store. They adapted the way they interact with the kids by creating special and fun directions for the kids to follow during the creation of their bears, much like a game of Simon Says. They took extra care to gently remind kids about staying safe and social distancing without being rude or uncaring while also being respectful towards the grownups with each child. The store was clean and organized, and we will definitely visit this location again!! Our daughter is typically very shy, and the woman at the stuffing station was incredibly patient and kind with her. By the end of our trip, our daughter felt safe enough to open up and engage with the rest of the staff. 5 stars all around!

First time ever in a builder bear. Went with my gf and we got pokemon. Staff was great and Iove my pokemon

You can build a Bear or other animals. Including Paw Patrol, Mickey mouse, Star wars and others. Starting at $12. For the smaller ones. Most are around $24. Children can help in the making of their bear. Each Bear gets a personalized birth certificate. Clothing and other accessories available for sale . They made it a fun experience!

Very pricey but the kids love it. All kids need to go here once.

Staff is always nice when walking in. Some of the prices are a bit high i feel but the overall experience very good andnwelcoming.

There were some very rude workers and they made us feel unwelcome just because we werent a child. they were very snappy with their orders when we were just trying to have fun. i payed $3.50 extra dollars dollars for a scent and they didnt put it in. the workers there just made my family and i feel guilty. i hope we just caught them on a bad day and i hope the next time we come it will be a better experience.

Second day we have come to the mall and they are closed!!!! Sign yesterday said sorry for the inconvenience but we are closed the remainder of the day, we will reopen Sunday September 27th noon to 5pm. So we went back today at noon and waited for them to open for 20 mins... Next thing we know they are hanging another sign that says due to unforseen circumstances we are closed and will reopen Tuesday september 29th. Quite ridiculous if you ask me!!!

My daughter was so happy to come here. Prices are actually not bad, its just when you add a ton of outfits and whatnot that it adds up. But we ended up dropping an item that we paid for and the clerk called me right away to let me know so we were able to come back and get it. So that was super nice.

Friendly people and a good experience for kids

I was there with my wife and kids to get a white nightlight and have kids build a bear for my wife. The lady whom helped my kids ages 9&8 didnt talk to them once never asked them if the bear was right until she felt the bear was good, no heart ceremony, no questions about scent pad placement until the bear was completely stuffed then she was unable to put it where we wanted it. HONESTLY THE WORST VISIT EVER!!! My family lives BAB but after today none of us are sure we will return there again. Been going to this location 8 years now they were amazing at one time...even had a bday party here two years ago almost.

The store itself is very cute and I love the concept,however,one must be prepared to fork out ridiculous amounts of cash for a stuffed animal!!! I greatly urge adults to case the joint ALONE first before they make a tremendous mistake like I did by bringing my 6 yr.old granddaughter in with me! Kids love this place. They lose their minds almost instantly upon entering the store. Their creative minds overflow with these amazing details of how theyre going to dress their bear,which is truly a sight to see but as you follow alongside them with your mental calculator locked in overdrive,you get that sinking feeling that this was perhaps not the wisest grandparent decision. Yikes...I adore every hair on my granddaughters head& I would never intentionally let her down but unless you possess an exceptionally bottomless bank account,steer clear of this place!! I might take her back someday for a super special occasion,like graduating med school but in the meantime,I believe we are going to limit our toy shopping excursions to isle 12 at the local Walmart 😁

Weve been coming here for over a decade. All the newest animals and cutest trends. It can be a bit pricey but there are different categories so you spend whats in your budget.

I have never been to a Build-A-Bear Workshop previous to this experience. My daughter had a wonderful time and everything was pretty self-explanatory. The lady at the register was a little pushy but I understand that thats her job to sell all the upgrades. It made my daughter feel like a princess for the day so thats all that matters.

I love giving my nephews bears from here. The employees interact so nicely with them I just wish they were closer

They dont make stuffed hamsters i dont think

Ohhh this place. The kids enjoy doing it but wow can you get the worlds most expensive teddy bear here. You want hats? They got it... you want sunglasses? They got it. You want shoes? They got it? You want 100 more pieces of jewelry or clothing for that bear which will be forgotten in a week? They have it all.

Expensive and expected to be, but the employees were awesome...definitely had employees that like doing what theyre doing. Which was appreciated.

It was our first time and we had a blast. Highly recommend it for every childs birthday. They make it very special for their day. The staff was fantastic and take time with the kids to make it memorable experience.

I live in Minnesota and I thought Id share an experience about the Build-A-Bear Workshop in Appleton, WI, which was wonderful.My profession can cut into my free time to swing out to a place like Build-A-Bear, so I have to take advantage of online ordering or calling a store directly. Unfortunately due to a time crunch, I missed out on the release of Toothless, as it sold out within 3 hours online. I called the Build-A-Bear in Appleton, since my wife and I are originally from that area, to see if Toothless was available.I was greeted on the phone by Lisa with a very cute and catchy phrase celebrating the Toothless re-release at their store. Lisa was extraordinarily helpful. She deserves acclaim because she not only did a great job but genuinely projected excellent customer service through her knowledge and personality!I placed an order with her at noon one day and literally received the package 24 hours later. I was blown away by this. My little girl was very happy! We certainly will be coming back!

From asking my 7 year old niece (instead of the adult) if she wanted to add on costly items to the build a bear (sound or a $5 reusable back pack) to charging us $10 so we can get $10 off next time - I will absolutely never go back to this build a bear. The woman who was helping us was nothing shy of a scam artist. A bear that should have come to $22 came to $64, and living 2 hours away bringing my niece her for her birthday, its not an easy trip to go back to the store to get my money back for these free gift cards. Disgusted.

My daughter got her first build a bear on her birthday, just as I did. She loves her bear, and I am so happy I chose build a bear to start a family tradition.

Over charged us ! Called to fix it since we live over hour away lady refused saying it was our fault we should have spoke up about the birthday bear but we did multiple times ! Yet nothing not like we could put the bear back after our daughter name him... ugh horrible time !

Love the different characters you can build, just dont like being told 2 different prices.

Drove over an hour for their pay your age day. I tried calling ahead to see if we could even do it. Whoever was working at the store kept picking up and hanging up. My kids cried because they couldn’t get a bear. Never shopping with this company again.

Nice staff, little pricey, but good variety of stuffed toys n accessories for stuffed animal. In busy area of Fox River Mall.

Customer service was sub par. we showed up late but not extremely late. Had to wait an additional time in line just to get someone to talk to. The worker that “helped” us seemed to get very frustrated every time one of the children changed their minds. We also did not receive the cupcake.

Very good staff that is very helpful to children building the dream bear. Lots of options but prices are higher than alternatives.
