When I walk into this dealer it is like walking in to a family setting. Collin, Dave and Sal treated me like we have know each other for years. Dan really went out of his way to make sure the back seat of our Acadia was properly fixed. The service desk staff is professional, responsive, and polite. The diagnosis of the issue with my truck is a little questionable, but for the time being Ill have to accept it. I would assume that quality control at the plant level would recognize issues with the transmission fluid type needed for the engine. Im not certain if the problem has been resolved with a simple fluid drain and the addition of a higher quality transmission fluid. We shall see. Otherwise, the dealership got my truck in/out in a timely manner. Theyre consistently good in that area.

I bought a used truck at Coffman GMC from Collin Crenshaw a little over a year ago. In the past I have been disappointed with other dealership’s customer service after the sale, but not here. I planned to go ice fishing this weekend and the pump for my windshield washer fluid went out. I was concerned because I was headed to the North Woods and would need my windshield washer in case of bad weather. I called Collin and he set everything up for me, from the appointment to a loaner vehicle. My truck was fixed in one day and on top of that the repair was covered by the dealership. The customer service I have received from Coffman GMC and Collin Crenshaw is reason enough to buy a vehicle from them. Great service and great people.

Took truck back after buying it 28 days ago. I told them the steering was wandering while towing and not towing. They said bring it in and they will look at it. Picked it up and they told me they greased it, which should of been done during the certified inspection. They also told me they adjusted the alignment, usually you can tell if wrenches were used on the tie rod ends, and there was no signs of that. So I do not believe they did that. Truck still wanders!!!
After driving 51/2 hours to pick up my Denali, we get there with a weeks notice of final sale for 80,000. We open the door to find it a mess, dirt everywhere and they never took the time to clean and prep it for customer pick up. I’ve bought 30 suv trucks over the years,this one was filthy! We had no choice to bring it home and spend money to have the brand new sale detailed! If they couldn’t even get that right I would be hesitant on service in every other area. Details matter, first impression is key! We run the same kind of business and I would never allow my customer to see a brand new sale this way.
Had it in for service, they did what was scheduled and checked what seems like problems with the transmission and steering. I did have a ten dollar off oil change which I gave them, but didnt realize that they didnt take it off until later in the evening. Will take more time to check next time that its applied to the bill.
After lots of research and test driving, I was ready to get a new vehicle. Walking into Coffman I was greeted quickly by Jason, who answered all of my questions. He offered several vehicles at different trim levels to check out and test drive. We walked away very happy, with a new vehicle at a great price.So happy, in fact, that we sent our family back! They ended up with a new vehicle lease this past weekend. We cant say enough about the customer service, and Jason in particular. It was a good car-buying experience. X2!

Im a first-time buyer at Coffmans, who was recommended by a close friend. Prior to buying, I received a tour of the dealership by Carl, the Service Manager who has been with Coffmans for 40 years. Many of the service technicians have 20+ years. Clearly the employees are happy, and that creates happy customers. The day after, I returned and spoke with Terry Coffman, who I eventually bought the vehicle from. Terry had to work a deal with an out of State dealer who had a truck I was interested in, and willing to purchase. He did not push a sale of a vehicle at his dealership, he remained customer focused and professional throughout my buying experience. This is a very welcoming dealership, and I will return often. I would unequivocally recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a unique, and rewarding buying experience!

We recently bough a car here and had the best car buying experience. We have been to many dealerships lately to find a specific car. Out of all of the dealerships Coffman was by far the best. Very polite people, that treated up like people and not a possible commission. They were straight forward and up front. The car we bought was used and had some small dents in it. They not only told us that they had someone taking them out but let us go back and see the car while it was being worked on and talk to the person working on it. The where open and honest. I never felt better about buying a car and knowing exactly what I was getting. They didnt pressure us at all, they just answered our questions directly and ask good questions about us to make sure we were getting something that would fit our needs.

I have had an airbag recall since last year and I finally had it fixed thanks to the wonderful guys here! They were polite, answered all my questions, and were incredibly fast getting my car fixed! I highly recommend them to anyone. I had tried several dealerships and mechanics places all around when I first got the recall notice. One place was supposed to get back to me after I called and never called me back about the parts like they said. I called back and it was a disaster trying to getting it all straightened out as to why no one bothered to call. Then I find out no one bothered to even order the parts like I was told over the phone. So i tried other places and was actually treated pretty bad and most were very rude surprisingly. So I just gave up trying to get my car fixed. But I know how unsafe that is so I decided to take a chance once another notice came in. The notice this time had Coffman Truck Sales listed as a contact to bring my car into to have the repair done. I called and spoke to several very professional people and now having been there and had my car fixed I am super happy with the experience!!! Thank you again to the wonderful guys who went above and beyond for me! Again cant say enough about quality service and this place has that! Highly recommend them!!!

By far had the best car buying experience here. Test drove and bought a Chevy Silverado 2011, and the salesman Allan was not pushy in anyway shape or form. He was the most easy going salesman and only answered questions about the truck when they were asked. I would recommend Coffman GMC and recommend you get Allan as your salesman. I will definitely be back when it comes time to purchase a new truck.
I dropped my truck off for routine service at 6:00 am. I never heard back so I called at 11:00 am and was told it would be done at 12:30 pm. I showed up at 12:30 and they hadn’t even started it yet, forgivable I guess. After I left the dealership to my dismay I found that somehow the window tint that I had installed 2 weeks prior had been scratched pretty bad in several spot on the drivers side. I was told to send pictures of it so I did and haven’t heard s thing back. 7 hours for an oil change and scratched window tint, I would take my vehicle somewhere else if it were me. I would rate zero if I could.Update-so they did finally call back about window tint. According to them there is absolutely no way they did it (but they did). I said ok my truck will be serviced elsewhere with a competent dealer. They lost my business and really didn’t seem to care.

Took my pick up truck and trailer here for check trailer error. They called me a few hours into the job and said we know the issue. 500.00 it would cost. Ok so I approved and picked up truck and trailer. Few days later I hooked to trailer and boom - same error. They said bring back in. Left it with them and the service guy called me back. Said another 500.00. I went and picked up from them and brought to small service mechanic. He fixed issue for 250.00. Point us these guys are terrible at what they do and just rip off the consumer.

Called in January about a safety recall on my car. Was told they had to order the part. Waited over a month and received no call. Called again, man I spoke to was very polite and told me he would take care of it and if I didnt receive a call to call back. Called again the third time and they did not order the part. Unsure as to where the miscommunication is. Decided to go to another dealer.
I cannot say enough good things about Coffman Trucks! I bought my terrain there back in 2012, but since we live about an hour away, I typically had it serviced at the GMC dealer by our house. I had been having some issues with a weird sound and it consuming oil faster than it should. The local dealer ignored the warning signs of a bigger issue with the engine. I called Coffman to see if they could take a look at it and low and behold, they figured out what the other dealer could not. Not only did they fix the issue but also gave me a loaner car to use while they had my car. Coffman Trucks has a customer for life!

TRUCKERS BEWARE. Went in to get my overhead reset. Said it would cost $700. Called me a couple hours later said something was loose inside tried charging me another 1k. Said there was a service bulletin. I pulled up the service bulletin on the internet and says it pays 1.5 hours. Dealer trying to charge 7. Told them not to do anything and brought it to another dealer and got my overhead done with no mention of anything loose. Enjoy the $350 you charged me because youll never see me again.
I had brought my 09 GMC Sierra in for a battery replacement. After taking nearly 2 and a half days, I was told my truck was ready for pick up. Once confronted at the service counter, I was told the cost of the battery and install would be nearly $250! I was shocked. I informed the service desk associate that I was told there was a special being run on battery installations. I showed the associate the flyer. It was to be approximately $183.00 Installed with the best battery they offer. He told me that I was wrong. Then I showed him the GM Certified listing, showing Coffman Truck Sales as being a listed installer of batteries for that price. I was then told to wait. Nearly half an hour later, he comes back and says the best he can do is $226! I was furious. Not only did it take nearly half a work week for them to install my battery, but they ripped be off! I told the associate that I wanted my old battery back so I could send it to the manufacture for the warranty. He said he would have to charge me...to take my old battery back. At that point I was ready to just pay the man and leave. I will never recommend anyone to Coffman Truck Sales. It was not the first time they had played games with me on service work, but it sure as hell was the last time.
Not the experience you would want when looking to buy a $25,000 car/truck. The manager was not in on a Saturday afternoon and the sales associate didnt care if he made a sale or not... The sales associate didnt even try to negotiate a deal on a vehicle.

Avoid this place if you want to have any inspections of your truck or limo. The old guy that does the inspections knows it all and takes his time and then will kick you out five minutes before its break just to show you hes the boss.And he had a bad attitude when asked why not tell me your break comes up at 3pm when I got in line around 2:15pm so I can decide whether or not too wait? Instead I waited through 2 inspections and I go to pull in he said nope it is 5 minutes before break so now you have to wait even longer. His manager was not all that interested in helping.Note did not have my inspection here so there are no sour grapes due to a bad inspection report.

Not even worth 1 star!!!! My truck has been there over a week now and every time I called in to get an update I heard nothing but EXCUSES!! RIDICULOUS! I bet these people didnt even take a look at my truck! They kept giving me excuses that the transmission that they ordered came but new transmission somehow turned up to be broken and they had to reorder and now they are saying the part that they needed went to a wrong dealer??? and when I asked they blamed it on Volvo?? OK. This is just ludicrous. No one should waste their time and money and take their trucks to this place because you will waste TWICE the money for your truck just laying there for no reason for weeks!!!

I needed an alignment done on a Chevy 3500 Pickup. The service department quoted me $225 for an alignment, and said it would take 2 days. I got a call 3 days later saying my truck needed the Punch-out holes in the frame removed to do the alignment. It was going to cost an additional $185. For a grand total $510 to do an alignment. When I heard this, I said no thanks and that Id be picking up my truck the same day.When I went over there to pick up my truck, I was greeted by the nasty service writer Mark Sartain who handed me an Inspection bill for $42.50. I advised Mark that the game of bait and switch would not work on me, and I wasnt paying. Mark and the Service manager advised that they would not release my truck until I paid for a service that I did not request. An hour later, and a phone call to the attorney generals office on my part, I finally got my truck back. But, WAIT! Theres more!I promptly took my truck over to Firestone in Shorewood IL at Rt59 and Black rd. They quoted me exactly HALF of what Coffman did to do the alignment and Frame Punch outs. When I came to pick up the truck my bill was less than $100. I asked why? The service writer Joe told me the frame knockouts were already done on this truck, and judging by the age many years ago!!!!Coffamn service not only LIED to me, they tried to bill me for work that did nor need to be done, and when I declined, they attempted to hold my truck ransom!DO NOT EVER GO HERE, YOU WILL BE SCAMMED!BUYER BEWARE!

Took truck to shop had problems with cruise control, PTO engine, alignment, headlight, ECU malfunctions and the gas pedal would at random not engage, they had it two weeks over the Christmas and New Years holiday. They aligned it and fixed the headlight. My cruise still wont go above 66, first thing when I got it back in it the throttle didnt engage, my PTO still grinds. If you want your truck fixed dont bring it here!
