We had a great experience at the Sleep Sherpa in Austin! We decided to check them out during our trip to Texas this past February since I had been researching beds for a while and was still unsure which one to go with. They ended up having all the ones on my list, and it made our decision so easy since we could try them all at once. Connor was very knowledgeable on all the different brands and we felt very comfortable shopping at his Showroom. If you have been trying to decide on an online mattress and will be in the area, you should definitely go there! You will get the same or a better discount than ordering online yourself, plus you will feel confident you made the right choice.

I recently purchased two beds at the Austin, TX Sleep Sherpa Mattress Showroom and had a wonderful experience. Connor and Kelsey were knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I loved that purchasing from Sleep Sherpa retains the generous trial period offered by the online companies while also offering the best price and a chance to try out the mattress in person before ordering. The discount makes a good case for purchasing from this Showroom. My son is special needs (Downs) and we were both made to feel very comfortable and welcome while trying all of the options. Connor had answers to my many questions and I felt confident choosing a mattress. The customer service turned out to be of exceptional quality, as well! Sleep Sherpa is a fantastic concept store, giving you the ability to try out highly rated mattresses that can only be bought online. Connor helped us the day we went in. He knew all of the mattresses very well and could help us prioritize which ones to try, given our preferences. From the moment we walked in, he was friendly without being pushy or hovering over us. We felt free to take our time. I’ve never had such a pleasant experience buying a mattress. I highly recommend Sleep Sherpa for their excellent mattress selection and the pleasant shopping experience.

Great place to check out all the online options in one spot. Connor helped us as we tied out several mattresses. Connor also provided plenty of knowledge across all the brands we tied and a few that we had tried elsewhere. No pressure sales, and could even order a model they don’t carry in store if that was the way we want to go. Highly recommend giving them a visit.

My husband and I were mattress shopping from several online companies, and feeling unsure about knowing which we would like the most (since you normally cant try them out in advance.) I stumbled across the Sleep Sherpa Showroom website and thought what a great idea. They have probably 20 or so mattresses from the majority of the online companies. The owner was there, and could talk to us about each of the mattresses, and you can try them out, the way you would in a traditional mattress store. If you decide to buy one of them, and buy through Sleep Sherpa, the price is the same as if you were buying directly from the online company, or better. Depending on if there are any promotions (some of which are only available by buying from Sleep Sherpa), there may be discounts. Sleep Sherpa does get a commission off of the sale, and to me that makes sense; they have provided me with an opportunity to try out these mattresses I wouldnt have been able to try, otherwise and this is a great service to support. We initially visited the store in early March 2020 (it is now early April, during the shelter in place order); we were able to call Sleep Sherpa and still order through them.

If you’re looking to buy a new mattress, especially one of the many new online retailer options, then this place is perfect! Connor was SUPER helpful and knowledgeable about all the newest brands and was very patient as we tried them all out repeatedly in the store. Can’t recommend enough. We went with the Nectar Lush btw.

Great environment, great staff, great prices, and great experience! Connor was truly the Sherpa we needed to navigate our mattress buying journey. This store definitely saved us the time and hassle of having to navigate an online mattress purchase return because we were able to try them out before making the jump. Our initial instincts after hours of reading reviews were wrong, and Im so glad that we waited and made an informed decision. Their prices were better than the direct online retail listing, or matching in the case of some of the big holiday sales. Shopping for a mattress can be confusing and exhausting, but youll rest easy with Connors shared knowledge and experience about the latest in online offerings. Thanks for opening this storefront!

My wife and I just purchased our new bed from Connor. He was very knowledgeable about the different beds and did not push any one bed over another. He asked us good questions and was able to help us differentiate between the different beds and manufacturers. Connor was a pleasure to work with. Having all the online mattresses in one place to try was very helpful and reassuring with our purchase.

Went in to try out a Brooklyn bed. Sales staff was helpful and attentive but allowed us to control the visit and was not pushy (had a very different experience at mattress firm). Another interesting is that they have partnerships so if you buy through them it was about 20% less cost than online pricing so it’s worth going into store.

Very helpful! We tried all the mattresses there, most of them available on line only, with no place for us to try them except Sleep Sherpa.We could easily decide on the one we liked best, ordered it at Sleep Sherpa, and we received it in less than two days.We will go back to them next time we need a new mattress.

There I was: feeling overwhelmed with the number of mattresses/reviews online as well as nervous about visiting a mattress store with potentially pushy sales people. I was about ready to go with my gut and purchase an expensive mattress I’d never even laid on, and I’m so glad I didn’t. Sleep Sherpa was the answer to my problems! They have a fantastic selection and a wide range of online mattresses to try out and Connor couldn’t have been friendlier or a better help.
